Oh yes, I caught that last night as well. Joey's such a troll.
In the same ep., another thing bugged me - when Michelle was in the final part of that race, she looks over at the snotty kid and says in a really annoying voice and clenched teeth, "My dad says if I don't have anything nice to say, I shouldn't say anything at all!"

I was thinking the same thing! Joey doesn't need to wear anything in particular to bring on disturbing images. They come naturally.

Did you know Dave did the voices of five characters from the Muppet Babies cartoon?
My fond memories of that show are now horribly infected.

Dave Coulier's (pronounced Cool-Yay) story is a refreshing one for Hollywood - nice guys can finish first. As an actor/comedian/voice-over artist, his many talents are much in demand.
Bwahahahahahaha! His "many talents" are in demand? They think he's a nice guy? We're talking about a man, who in his late 20s/early 30s dated a teenage girl. That is not a nice man.
If he's in so much demand today, why is his website named after a catchphrase, from a show that finished in the mid 90s? We're now in the mid Noughties. (and God that's a scary thought)

Actually, the phrase was first heard on "Out of Control", some Nickelodeon show from--wait for it--
1984! That's even worse!
I saw part of that ep last night in which Michelle's friends try to compete to be her best friend so she could draw one of them, and Danny showed Joey as an example. Worse, he showed how he looks in the morning. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) Joey creeps me out so much!

It's probably a French last name, the pronunciation-explanation isn't that odd. It's a name I never heard anywhere else, though, so if he made it up himself because he wanted a cool name, it would be pretty lame indeed. In my humble opnion, of course.

Apr 5, 2004 @ 9:32 am
Well, he's from Canada, so having a French last name isnt so far fetched, and since I always pronounced it "Cole-your" (phonetically), I found that to be kind of helpful. Other than that he sucks.
Oh and I dont know if you noticed in his FAQ section he says he wont confirm or deny that he's the object of that song, so you know he totally is. Plus, I'm pretty sure she actually came out and admitted it when her last album came out. She's 30 now, and way more famous than he is, I doubt he can hurt her now and I'd bet her parents probably know.

I love the fact that his entire PopCulture history is now tied to the fact that he messed around with an underage girl who wrote the jilted woman ballad for the 90's. It just warms my heart.
Because if in fact he was messing around with someone THAT young.. at THAT age... he deserves all the press that he can get about it. Seriously, not cool.

Anyone else get the feeling that later on in the show.. Joey should just -oh I don't know- MOVE OUT? Same with Jesse. If I owned this big beautiful house in San Francisco, and my brother-in-law moved in to help with my kids, I'd be grateful. If he then got married and moved the wife in, I'd be bugged.
If my kids were getting older and soon college bound and he then had children with said wife and lived in my attic I'd be pissed.
If my friend from college lived in the foyer, then the basement, and then into my brother-in-law's old room.. I'd be disturbed.
And meanwhile they're running businesses and bands out of my basement? How is that ever a good idea?
Danny never got pissed about all of this? GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!
How did Becky stand for it? I certainly wouldn't want to move in with Danny, Joey and Michelle. DJ & Steph are cool, but take them to the MALL don't share a house with them?
Did they pay Danny? Seriously, why all in one house? These are things I think about. I know it's "Full House" but let's be honest it's : Packed with More Moppets, Aging Adults with Bad Hair, and Animals than is Probably Allowed By California Zoning Laws House.
Honestly! Get out! The Death Knoll of a sitcom is when there are more people under the roof than anyone can stand (The Huxtables succombed to the same fate)

Remember when that old guy came and tried to buy the house cause he used to live in it? They all wanted to move but Michelle pretty pretty princessed her way through all their hearts and they had to stay. Jesse and Becky were going to get their own place and so was Joey. They should've done that. But then it wouldn't have made for wacky!sitcom!moments! I guess. I hated this show right around when the plot contrived twins showed up and Michelle started to speak more.

I think it's all Michelle's doing. She had to have been working some sort of evil mojo to keep all those people in that house. Jesse and Becky tried to move out after they got married too, and look who sucked them back in. How else could any human person stand living in that house with that many people? I could barely stand living with both my parents and my grandmother in my parent's house after college.

Indeed. Danny sitting in the bathtub with the twins is no treat either, but at least he mentioned that he has swim trunks on.
I'm so sick of Michelle and her pulling everyone back in to that house. If it weren't for her, we'd be free of Joey.

It doesn't make you a dork, but as someone of Greek descent, that episode made me cringe. Let's break out the ethnic stereotypes along with some Ouzo and baklava!
BWAH! Word to that,
Charlotte. I tolerated the ouzo and baklava bits, mind you, but the 'walk round the table=you're married part/walk round the table backwards=you're divorced' bit made me cringe. Ugh. Yes, we walk around the table, but they made it sound so ludicrous, as there is more to Greek Orthodox marriages than just walking round a damn table.
Although I did laugh at Danny's, "Sure! Take a spin around the counter if you'd like."

Sad is it is, I don't think I can say I've lived a full life until I see this fucking show's series finale. Granted, any personal pleasure derived from this fucking show has always been the result of, y'know, screaming at everybody (sans Becky. Because much to my dismay, they never aired in local syndication.

The episode where Michelle makes a ton of money from lemonade and buys a mule was on tonight. WTF? The best thing that Michelle can think to spend her money on is a freakin' mule?
And the thing that irritated me the most is that no one got mad at Michelle for doing it, and she received no punishment. Stephanie was mad that her geography project was ruined, DJ was mad because she broke out, Danny was mad because his painting was ruined, and everyone was mad because they were woken up in the middle of the night, but no one got mad at Michelle.

Just for Jazper:
The finale, "Michelle Rides Again," aired tonight (both parts) at 6 and 6:30 and the first part will air again tomorrow at noon and the second part Friday at noon. I never saw it during its original run either...caught it a few months ago though.

The mule episode has gotta be one of the worst "we're running out of ideas, so we'll just base it around Michelle again" plots ever. And as I mentioned tonight while watching it, FH seemed to get more ridiculous as it went on. (re: 25 people living in one house, Michelle's "deathly" fall off a horse, Joey...in general.)

Not to mention...they set up a blueprint for other language-delayed sitcom duos, such as Sam and David on "7th Heaven"!
(Nothing against language-delayed kids--I was one myself, actually. However, I hate the fact that the kids were, like, four and still talked on a two-year-old's level and that was somehow displayed as cute.)

Hey,
wounded. Not to be a smartass, because I really am curious, but does the "walking around the table" tradition (?) have anything to do with when in Greek Orthodox marriages the couple takes their first steps together during the ceremony? Around the altar maybe? Like they did in
My Big Fat Greek Wedding?
On Topic: I feel like I have seen every single Full House episode probably between five and ten times. However, I feel like there's a few that I've only seen about three times, and I don't remember exactly how the plots go. The episode with the walking around the table is one of them, another is the one where DJ's cousin played by Kirk Cameron visits, and another is the one where Stephanie joins a boy's baseball team. Anyone remember these eps?
