What I never understood about the show was how everyone catered to Michelle. I mean, if I were a parent there would be some tough love involved, not constant coddling. Things were never enforced with her so she knew she could get away with anything. Guidelines were never set, and anything she did wrong was solved by everyone laughing it off at how cute and silly she was. The one time she was *gasp* banished to staring at the wall was interrupted by pussy Danny telling her she will "always be his little pwincess". Gag.
This tells me that Pam was probably the disciplinarian and Danny was the wimpy one that gave in. Or it could be that they thought "Let's take advantage of the fact that Michelle will never know her mother and coddle her to death".

You know how Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello were in an episode?
Sadly I remember that episode. Joey does a sitcom pilot with them, and in the end it turns out the show will be animated. But of course this being Full House, Joey's show was never mentioned again after the episode.
Or that she speaks to the adults as if they were preschoolers.
Have you seen the adults on this show? With the occasional exception of Becky they all acted like preschoolers. Of course by the later seasons when they were dressing Aunt Becky like she was a 20-something college student she pretty much much had morphed into the preschooler mentality as well.

Remember the episode where Danny, Jesse and Joey play basketball, and Stephanie makes a butt-ugly blouse for Becky and Michelle tells her the blouse is gross, and Aunt Becky says "Michelle that's not very nice" and then Stephanie says "Well, at least she was being honest". Please! Like anyone would say that. She wouldn't have cared whether or not Michelle was being honest, she still would have though she was a brat.
The other thing that bugged me about that episode was Joey. I could tell his head was getting big just because he was better at basketball than Jesse. But seriously, did they atcually expect us to believe that Danny and Joey, two middle-aged out-of-shape losers were supposed to beat the hot athletic guys on Kimmie's team?

Sitcom adults with families always get really bad separation anxiety. Remember Mike and Carol couldn't manage to enjoy their honeymoon, and so had to go get the kids and Alice, too? Yick.

Ooh, I saw the episode today when Stephanie takes all those dance classes and gets burnt out. The best part? When she dances to "Motownphilly" at the end. How early 90s can you get?
I really like this episode, since it is actually about someone other than Michelle. I remember watching it when it first came on and thinking about scandalous the dance costumes were because it shows her (gasp!) midriff.

And was that even Boyz II Men singing it? I haven't heard that song in a LONG time, but I used to have it on tape...and I'm pretty sure what Stephanie was dancing to
wasn't Boyz II Men. I could be wrong. But if it was a studio group or something, well, studio groups should just NOT sing the
autobiographical songs of other groups!!
That fantasy sequence of Danny's ("She's Stephanie Tanner!" "THAT'S ME!") wins my vote for the cheesiest 'Full House' moment EVER (closely followed by Danny emerging from the closet and the entire telethon episode).
I liked the other episode that aired tonight, where Jesse mixes the bruddahs up, simply because Jesse finally told Stephanie to lower her voice. (Up until the last few seasons, particularly when she was younger, Stephanie always seemed to be hollering at the top of her lungs.)

In the opening scene before the ep. where Jesse & Becky bring the twins home, DJ teaches Michelle to crack eggs. Michelle does it perfectly fine, and when asked if she would like to scramble them too, she's like, "Oh boy!" and proceeds to toss and mash the egg shells into the eggs. That just screams "The Bad Seed" or something. I think deep down inside, Michelle was EVIL (and very, very stupid)!

One of my favorite episodes was on this weekend. The one where Stephanie discovers she actually has a talent (just in pitching though) and has to make the earth shattering decision of whether to pitch easy to her boyfriend (Brett, Brett) or win the game for her team. Duh. Although I do remember thinking at a young age that he was HOT. Anyone know his name so I can IMDB him?
Man, what a pain in the ass Rusty was. I wondered why they never made Stephanie and Rusty get together. They would have been a cute couple. Two annoying brats.
Ok, seeing how much hate I've spewed towards Michelle, I am gonna get reamed for this: but I was watching a Mary Kate & Ashley special on E! (nothing else was on ok??) and they showed clips of them when they were real little, and I thought [small voice] they were cute and how could I hate such cute innocent kids? [/small voice]

That was my favorite episode! I loved the bat with the heart on it he made for her. Brett was played by Sean Fox, who was also in Three Ninjas movies (as Rocky #2). I remember thinking he was hot at the time as well. We never saw him again though. (Brett-Brett, Brett-Brett!)

God, Brett was hot. I always wondered by Stephanie and Rusty didn't get together either. If you watch that baseball episode, there is definite sexual tension. Well ok, not sexual since they were like nine. But whatever nine-year-olds have instead of sexual tension. They definitely had it.
I saw that Olsen twins special too and they are pretty damn endearing. I have resigned myself to the fact that I don't hate them, I just hate Michelle. I guess its just hard to separate the two (or rather three) because I grew up watching Full House and only knew them as Michelle for so long.

Remember the ep when Jesse and Rebecca bring home a bunch of wedding cake samples? Before anyone had a chance to do anything, Michelle goes "I can't take it anymore", lunges across the table, grabs a bunch of pieces and shoves them into her mouth. Meanwhile, the adults are all looking on adoringly and laughing at how cute she is. HATE. I mean, I can
maybe see her doing that to her own birthday cake or something. But those samples were Jesse and Rebecca's for their wedding. That brat had no boundaries. Stupid adults.

It was explained when Jessee and Becky almost eloped that Danny and Pam did elope and Jessee beat him up. They were probably around 19-20, but I don't know if she was pregnant or not. But it could have been a good reason to get married, OR Pam wanted to wait until marriage to have sex (like some) and they married quick to have sex, inside bounds of marriage.

Speaking of Michelle and cake, remember when she has a birthday party and couldn't wait for the cake any longer, so she tells all of her friends to dig in? That's the most disgusting shit ever, with like 10 kids all digging in. Where was the girl's self control? Perhaps all of the food-related fuck ups were just a foreshadowing for Mary-Kate's future problems ;)

Eww, yeah. Her Flintstones-themed party when Rebecca went into labor. But what really made me hate Michelle in that episode was when everyone was telling her to hurry up and open her presents so they can go to the hospital. Stephanie instructs the kids to open the presents they brought (I like Stephanie, but that was tacky) and then hold up the goodies so Michelle can see what she got. Then the little brat walks down the line of friends as if she's the Queen of England and comments on the presents. "Like it...love it...already have it..." HATE. I'm surprised her friends weren't also instructed to bow down and kiss her feet.

What really made me hate Michelle was the fact that everyone in her friggin family had nothing better to do than hang around all day in (probably rented, therefore expensive) costumes and wigs for a small child's birthday, and none of them can be bothered to change before going to the hospital. Well, that's not hating Michelle so much as her emotionally retarded co-dependent family.

All I can remember from Stephanie and DJ's respective bday parties were potato chips and maybe a sign that said "Happy Birthday." But if its Michelle's birthday lets get out to the Flintstones costumes and Bedrock Set!

I haven't seen the E! show about the twins. Does anyone know if the writers just wrote the part of Michelle as dumb or if they were just incapable of learning better lines? I remember hearing they had to do a lot of retakes even though they had a 'baby wrangler'.
Watching Raven on Cosby made me think about this. Raven had a lot of lines and came across as a bright child. I think when Keisha(Rudy) was about 4 years old she came across as very bright also.

Ugh, was that the one that was prompted by Michelle's whining about how she wasn't going to be the baby anymore? I hated how they indulged her so much. When Stephanie was little and complained about being the middle child, their "pep talk" consisted of lame analogies like "what's the best part of a baloney sandwich...the middle! See, being in the middle isn't so bad!" GAG. But with Michelle, they take out her album, and reminisce, and blah, blah blah frickin blah.
