I love this show right after Coronation Street, a good companion piece . I just hate that we are not getting up to date episodes or close to it, as we are for Coronation Street in Canada.

Someone needs to tell Jarvise that in Yorkshire when we shorten the word 'the' we reduce it to a single letter 't' and tack it onto the end of the preceding word. He is doing a lancastrian accent by shortening it to 'th' and adding to start of the following word.

I was really surprised to find out that Nicola wasn't pregnant. I didn't see that coming. Once that cat was out of the bag, I knew it was only a matter of time before the whole sordid affair between Carlos and Bernice was made public.

I didn't want to post here until I had watched the show for awhile. I loved the scene in the church today. When I first started watching Cain had done something with Sam and no one has seen him in awhile. I hope they resolve that story line soon.

I started watching after the affair with the police woman and Cain. I just can't picture them together.

I would love it if the great Jaqui Pirie came back as a Dingle. What fun would that be.



We get further and further behind because Emmerdale air in Britain six days a week I think. Between that and the Olympics we may end up several years behind.

Can't wait to see today's (Canadian) episode with the aftermath of the wedding-that-wasn't. I've hated this whole Bernice-Carlos affair plotline so I'm so glad it'll be resolved soon. It just made Ashley look like even more of a twit, which makes me sad because I can't help but like him.



May I just say that I would have absolutely no problem with Sam being gone forever. Apart from Lisa, Charity, and Marlon, the whole Dingle clan just bugs me. Especially Cain. HATE!

Tricia is Alan Turner's granddaughter. She disappeared a few months ago after fighting with both her boyfriend, Marlon, and her best friend, Bernice. Alan and Diane went to London to look for her but weren't successful.

You may have noticed that she mentioned Joe Fisher to Louise. Joe was Jason's boyfriend and Trisha married him so that he could stay in the country. I think she is still officially married.

Sigh. September 8 seems sooooo far away!

When Scott went back to work he finds the gang at the chalet, so we can assume it is part of the Holiday Village. They've only shown us a brief glimpse of the Holiday Village, but chalets are part of the available accomodations.

Can someone clarify something for me. Here we’re just at the point where the tour operators show up a day early, and Nicola is blaming Maggie for the cock up.

Nicola faxed the invitation that Maggie had drawn up to invite the tour operators for the Friday, but she crossed out that date and changed it to the Thursday.

Wouldn’t those that have been invited have responded to the offer and then had a reservation made for them? Maggie would have been able to catch the mistake if that was the case.

I’m so sick of the sanctimonious little bitch screwing things up. I so hope this little stunt backfires and Rodney loses his position.

I was shocked and delighted that Rodney believed Maggy over Nicola. It's time she got her comeuppans. Like you, Ember I still don't quite understand how Nicola managed to get all the guests to arrive a day early. Rodney said she changed the date on the letter that went out, but the one travel agent said that he had confirmation. The only way I can see it being done is if every one phoned in their confirmation and Nicola took all the calls. Confusing much?
