Exactly: I have trouble with my own murder theory because I don't think that Myrtle would let Kendall stand trial, but I absolutely think Maggie would.

You know, I was beginning to miss Asshat but, after watching today's AMC, I am done with him again. Bah.
Mystic0
yeah that was the most confusing ep ever.

Hee! I guess Simone and Boyd looked the most guilty, since they sorta confessed, so they didn't do it. Kendall and Reggie's dreams seemed to mostly just point out that they feared getting punished for it. I didn't see anything pointing to the fact that they actually did it. Palmer and Adam just mucked around I'm thinking. Lena seemed to feel guilty for not being able to do it and Jack was pretty much ruled out completely. Bianca? So did it and will forever be in therapy, poor kid. Mikey made no accusations toward her, just sent her looking for something that will no doubt fuck her up worse. Erica telling her to forget was anvillicious and Kendall saying the secret wasn't the baby sealed it. Oak Haven? Meet Binky. I'm depressed. :( Dude, if I misread anything please school me.

But on a positive note, Kinks! Thank you Kendall for taking time out in your dream to have your girlfr......uh, sister tell you how beautiful you are. Thanks, I needed that.
silentbob
Yeah. "Isn't she beautiful? Just like her aunt..." That come-hither look that Bianca gave her girlfr..., er, lov..., er, sister? Whoa!

My vote for the killer is Carlos, given what we know about Simone's involvement. Plus, there are no criminal consequences since he's dead. Second choice is Boyd. Easy way to write him off the show. Poor guy. That bit with Kendall walking off with Aidan and Ryan was cooooold.
onlyinPV
These words haven't left my lips in this context in a loooooong time, but WHAT A GOOD EPISODE! Lena hosting a cooking show? Great! Jackson being chained up and helpless? Great! Erica reliving her 14th birthday? Grreat! An awesome episode touching on the main character's innermost fears and insecurities. What I liked best was the running theme of Bianca needing to find something, but she doesn't know what, and the others dissuading her. This just boosts my theory that Binks did it, blocked the memory, and the others are covering for her.

Yes, Kinks brought it like only they could. Dayum! It was nice that they kept with the theme of Bianca looking extra cute when doing scenes with Kendall. Having Bianca name Bling after Kendall was a nice touch too. Shows where Kendall's mind is at. Awwww, Kendallette really is their lovechild!

What I liked best was the running theme of Bianca needing to find something, but she doesn't know what, and the others dissuading her.

I think it's going to play out that the thing that Binky finds is...............Mikey's Blockbuster card! Then Binky runs to Blockbuster convinced that the clue is hidden in Mikey's recent rentals. She flashes the clerk and he hands over Mikey's rental history. Utilizing the worst luck any poor bastard has ever had ever, Bianca views Mikey's last rental. Turns out, Mikey had ended up with the tape that nice Australian girl had left at Blockbuster. Bianca watches it and Samara gets her seven days later. Sadly, Bianca is no more but now we know the real killer! Samara! Muhahahahaha! Genius, McT!

Hey, if the writers can trip off acid, so can I. Dammit.

Hee, I laughed at Michael's "Hi losers......lesbians" line to Kendall and Bianca. Even rewound it a few times to laugh some more.
onthetracks
I only caught about half the ep -but I'm with onlyinPV; I liked what I saw. But then I'm a sucker for the easy dream sequence routine. Unfortunately, I also kept thinking this should have happened two months ago. Enough cannot be said about the ridiculous glacial pacing. I hope to hell the trial moves along at something resembling, well, movement. *not holding breath*
SkiffyPup
Hee, I laughed at Michael's "Hi losers......lesbians" line to Kendall and Bianca.

I KNOW! I was smiling and muttering, "KINKS! LESBIANS! Thank you, Pervy. Very much." It was SO TWoP shout out. As was the Kinks are the two mommies scenes. (*smoch* for you, Pervy!)

I think the seed that inspired Lena as Martha came from CK's resealable Sociables poison box. Honestly. They are stealing all our best shit. It's okay though. There must be some hella pressure to write that much airtime in a year and have new ideas every day.

And wordy mcfrickin' word about the glacial pace. Come on!

Yeah. I liked the episode. What? Shut up. Poor Reggie. I was most affected by him and by Bianca's and by the very end of Lena's. Lena and Door- REUNITED!
boris
One thing I have not missed is Mikey getting all grabby with the women. I don't need to see that again, and again, and again.

On the plus side, Plamer and Adam's screaming about being stuck together forever was mildly amusing. Lena as Martha Stewart was also funny for about 30 seconds, until things turned really disturbing with the Mikey man-handling.

Go David for not putting up with the Asshat.

Points for continuity in dressing everybody in their post-hearing clothes. Otherwise, the whole thing was a little too Mikey-tastic for me.
SkiffyPup
I have one huge gripe.

Where the fuck was Lena's Big Shiny Gun? That was not her gun.
I hate you, propmaster. Former friend. I shake my fist at you *Snoopy style*!

The new ABCSID asks AMC actors which technical department they'd like to work with if they could.Rebecca picked props for all the cool stuff, Cam picked the cameras and Liz picked the Punisher. She said she's already given him some suggestions and that she loves the stuff she gets to wear. DeVry's on the cover and he has about as many different hairstyles as LaLucci.

Today's ep sounds like McTrash's version of ,"Restless" from Buffy.

I was watching ,"A Close Shave " with Wallace and Gromit this weekend and that part where all the sheep are on the motorcycle made me think of our sled.
Mysticks Muse
Today's ep sounds like McTrash's version of ,"Restless" from Buffy.

You're comparing AMC to a non-season 7 episode of Buffy. Blasphemy. Absolute Blasphemy. "Restless" isn't even in my top 10, and it's still blasphemy.

Liz likes her wardrobe. Why am I not surprised?

I think the seed that inspired Lena as Martha came from CK's resealable Sociables poison box. Honestly. They are stealing all our best shit.

Okay AMC writers, listen carefully and take notes. Maggie, Mia and Ryan all killed Michael together, and should go to prison for a very long time. A very long time. Oh, and Aidan must come down with a disease that requires him to be naked for long periods of time, preferably with Kendall as company.
SkiffyPup
Liz picked the Punisher. She said she's already given him some suggestions

And now we know what happened to Olga's wardrobe.

I know she said she likes her clothes on OUTQ in response to a fan prompt... but to volunteer that is just all kinds of freaky wrong and makes me think that I have not misjudged this little psycho at all! LOL!

If Kendall is busy, I'll take over for her. Its the least I could do......perhaps he'll need medication rubbed all over his body as part of his recovery...I could do that.......really, it would be no problem.....

In the AMC section of the land formerly known as "Dancing Banannaland" or "North Korea" (now under new management) there is and auction posted for a Thymic reseach org benefit at an Atlantic City casino. You can bid in an auction to sit next to Alicia. (Or a bunch of others we care less about.)

Oh, and when there... you can bid on a full cycle of fertility treatments. I'm not kidding.

Just finished watching my tape, and Jesus, was that an awful episode. Here's to hoping they hide the reel when the Emmy folks start sniffing around. I think doing a tongue-in-cheek dream parody would have worked better ( spoofing over the top DOOL stuff) than playing it straight for tension. The only one who seemed to be on this wavelength was DeVry, who was camping it up even more that he did in unbuttoned shirt-wearing, push-ups in the living room doing days. The rest of the cast, with the exception of my David, were gamely trying to act frightened and traumatized which I thought it fell flat. What was not flat however, was La Lucci's hair. That was some old-school Dynasty hair if I ever saw it.

I did remember thinking it would have been so much cooler if Judge!Michael was wearing one of those old-fashioned curly white wigs a la British magistrates. And then in the Erica's birthday scene he could have popped up in a paper birthday hat with one of those noise-makers in his mouth.

Today's ep sounds like McTrash's version of ,"Restless" from Buffy.

Now I keep imagining how awesome the episode could have been if had been like Once More, With Feeling instead. An AMC musical about Mikey's murder? Man, I would have treasured that tape forever, yo.

How sad is it, that I can't even bother to hate Evil!Dream!Ryan more than Asshat!Waking!Ryan? It might actually be an improvement on his character if he took to guzzling Scotch and chilling with rapists.
CKD
Add my name to the list of those who were bored senseless by today's episode and utterly unmoved by anyone's fears. Meh.

I did remember thinking it would have been so much cooler if Judge!Michael was wearing one of those old-fashioned curly white wigs a la British magistrates.

Heh heh.

Bianca looking for "it" just reminded me of that dog that looks for bacon. "It! It, it, it! It's it!!!!"

So much for thinking the killer would be revealed today. How long can this drag on? Don't answer that. My gut says the Binkster did it. But Boyd is up there in the running too. Anyone else notice that his nightmare is really his waking life? He did risk it all for Kendall and she has left him high and dry in the romance department. The only thing that hasn't really happened to him is Ryan and Aidan smirking...but they've come awfully close.

Everyone else who actually dreamed (hee David), dreamed their worst nightmare or what they are most afraid of. But Boyd got to kiss Kendall in the beginning of his nightmare and that hasn't happened in a long while. His waking life has been worse.

What Maggie, no dreams? No nightmares? Could the killer be so at peace with themselves that the Assicle has no ability to invade their dreams? I kept envisioning the start of a dream sequence with Myrtle. Mikey would show up. She'd pull out a gun. And calmly blow him away. Then she'd stand over his body and say "nightmares are for those who feel guilty. I've had nothing but sweet dreams since I blew your ass away. Bye bye maggot."

This the first episode I've seen in months and while I thought to myself "my god, has this storyline moved an inch since September?" there were moments of goodness.

The Good:

- Sad, but true I was very happy to see SisYay is alive and well... and yes, I felt oh-so dirty about it. The meaningful looks Binks and Kendall shot each other are enough to melt the ice outside my house.

- Lena's cooking segment was very clever. Are we sure McTavish wrote this episode? Although Asshat man-handling Bianca while Lena helplessly looked on made me a bit uneasy.

- Boyd's hair. I love how it shagged around his eyes. Is this MM's first onscreen appearance in a while?

- Kendall getting dressed for her wedding/execution.

- David waking up.. no more nightmare. Clever and hee. McTavish wrote this?

- Kendall walking off with Ryan and Aidan firmly planted on either side.

The Bad:

- The anvillous nature of Kendall's execution table... oh, how Christ like...

- Adam and Palmer's not at all dramatic screaming after being locked in Asshat's apartment.

Today's ep sounds like McTrash's version of ,"Restless" from Buffy.

Word, but where was Cheese guy?

Hee. Who knew being so dirty felt so damn good? The SisEyeShag was terrific.

I loved today's episode. At last, we get a little insight into each character's subconsious. So what if it's wrapped in a little cheese? The only part I really groaned at was Erica again thinking of her 14th birthday party. Must we really be reminded every other month or so about what many consider one of the most embarrassing scenes in soap history?

I liked Lena, Reggie, and Jackson's dreams the best. Although the chains were silly, I liked Jackson's because it really affirmed Jack's underlying feelings of inadequacy and failure that was discussed by several posters a couple pages back.

Bianca did it. Kendall, Erica, Reggie, and maybe Jack know and are "protecting" her. I don't think Lena knows and I think Boyd thinks Kendall did it. I think it's completely random that they threw Simone in the mix, but maybe they wanted to give Terri Ivens more screentime now that Fusion is dead. I used to think that there was no way that a major contract player did it, as they would surely have to be punished or killed off, but now I think that everyone will know that Bianca did it, but she will never be arrested. I think Kendall will get off and it will remain a Pine Valley secret that Bianca really did it.

Bianca looked really hot today. I love that dress.

Here's a tidbit I just read about Eden's American Dreams appearance: Eden plays an anti-war protestor who gets in a fight with Meg (the main blonde girl). Eden as an angry protestor? Alright!

Oh, you guys! I swear that was unintentional, but, I guess like Michael Cambias haunts Pine Valley's subconsious, Kinks haunts mine. I want a Kinks dream, dammit! I did have a JR/Jamie BroYay! dream a couple weeks ago, though, so I think I'm getting closer.
Black Knight
Rif-Randle, for the most part I also enjoyed the episode. The only bad bits, I thought, were the slow way Kendall's nightmare started off (the Ryan shtick just went on way too long), Walt's incredibly cheesy performance (he should've watched David Canary and James Mitchell's work to see how to pull off screaming "nooooo!" in a funny way), and Simone's nightmare (enough of the "it was an accident!"--she must've said it about 20 times).

I thought Lena's nightmare was the best--the Julia Child bit cracked my shit up, not to mention showing off Lena's colder and more calculated side, and then it descended into deeply disturbing (plus, I always enjoy scenes of The Michael and Lena Show). I was rather affected by Reggie's nightmare of his family abandoning him--MBJ just sold it for me, especially when even Bianca turned her back on him (she's so obviously the killer). I laughed at Palmer and Adam's horror at hearing they would be stuck together forever. Watching Boyd and Kendall making out over Michael's corpse was oddly hot, I think because there was an element of film noir. And hearing Michael complain about David was amusing.

And, of course, the SisYay. Thanks, Pervy! From Bianca telling Kendall she's beautiful to announcing that she'd named her baby after Kendall...but here's a really funny bit--even the person doing the closed captioning sees the SisYay. In Bianca's nightmare, when she and Kendall were in the condo and Michael's at the door and greets them with "Loser. Lesbian," the captioning actually appeared as "Losers. Lesbians." I choked on my drink and then rewound to make sure Wil deVry had actually said lesbian, singular. See, even the captioner notices!

I picked up the Girlfriends issue and was amused by Eden's response when asked why the viewers like Bianca and Lena: "First of all, Lena's damn sexy." She just gets right to the point. Snerk. And as hot as the cover shot is, I'm also thrilled the magazine has an equally beautiful print inside of the Eden-in-green-top that's used in the bumper and Kinks promo ads.
SkiffyPup
He said "Losers. Lesbians." out loud. I heard it twice.
Black Knight
Much as I'd love it if he had, I Tivo'd the ep, played that bit several times, and it sounded clearly singular to me and the other people I was watching with (and their hearing is normal). Plus, Michael looks at Kendall when saying "Loser" and then looks at Bianca when saying "Lesbian". He would've just looked at both of them instead of shifting his eyes, otherwise. Finally, Wil's lips and teeth also aren't in the position they'd be in if he'd been saying the plural. Believe me, we were all wishing we could believe he had said "Lesbians". Hee.
CKD
I heard him say "losers, lesbians" as well and played it several times to make sure. I did think it was odd since he seemed to be addressing one sister at a time, but he clearly used the plural both times. I'll stack my people against your people and put Skiffy on top of all of them. Hey, BK: maybe you get the less perverted AMC dialogue. We should file a complaint!
Mystic0
I was rather affected by Reggie's nightmare of his family abandoning him--MBJ just sold it for me

Yeah, thanks for reminding me. I forgot to give MBJ his props earlier. He was awesome today. Reggie has already lost one family, it was painful to learn how afraid he is to lose this one too. Alicia was really good in the baby scene as well.

(she's so obviously the killer)

It certainly seems that way. I would be really shocked to find out it was someone else at this point. I wonder who knows she did it, if in fact she did. Dream!Kendall seemed in the know and some of Real!Kendall's actions point to the fact that she might know. Reggie and Erica might also.

Black Knight, are you still going cold turkey on the PBPs?

Oh, you guys! I swear that was unintentional

Hee! You should be proud of me, Rif, I totally read it the Pervy way and managed to not say anything. But boy, it was hard!

I definitely heard plural losers and lesbians. It wasn't wishful hearing. I rewound it a few times because it made me giggle so much. *runs to videotape to re-confirm*
Iwantmynameback
I took Unfrozen Caveman Rapist's addressing the "room" as sort of a 'Royal we' as in, "Hello all you losers and lesbians, It's meeeee!!!!" Similar to the taunting in "Warriors". But I most definitely heard it in the plural, played through the stereo, very loudly. No doubt about it.

And what could Bianca be looking for? I decent script perhaps? Oh, yeah, I bet it's the 'truth'.

One line I did like today was Mikey to Ryan about the cigars. "Cubans, one of the perks." Hee...

But I'm on board with everyone who's tired of it--let's move on now please.

Then Kendall immediately grabbed Ryan's cigar and pitched it to the floor. Take that Four minute Frankenlavery (tm Black Knight). That bit cracked me up.

Which made me all the sadder since they've wasted their chemistry for the better part of a year. That's probably the last Boyk we'll ever see.

I don't know if anyone else covered this yet, but was I the only one cracking up when Michael was trying to haunt David and David was like "Nope." and Michael was all "Come on and let me haunt you, you son of a bitch!"

(That sounded rather highschool story-ish with the likes and all, but I'm in a sorority, so...I can't help it.)

How colossally boring was that? A ton of Big!Moments! strung together, and I still don't care. I ff'd the whole mess except for Lena's moderately entertaining bit. Count me in the "it was Bianca" camp.

I know this has nothing to do with anything (and particularly little to do with losers and lesbians), but Joshy Duhamel will be on both the view and trl tomorrow (Tues).
The fact that the view and AMC tape in the same building makes me oddly excited because I can imagine a small Greenleo reunion taking place about 15 city blocks away from me...

I think I'm firmly in the Bianca did it camp now, too.

I happened to be talking to my mom on the phone while this was on. She only catches AMC on her days off, and she interrupted whatever conversation we were having to start this exchange:
"You mean Erica still doesn't know about the baby?"
"Nope."
"Haven't the hints all been slapping her in the face?"
"Yep"
"Why doesn't she know...Never mind, she's just Erica, that's why."
"Pretty much."

I realized today that I want Kaidan so much, I'm seriously contemplating starting one of those ridiculous fan campaigns.

And what's with the cynicism: can't Rebecca have perfectly bad taste in men? She would not be the only one. Case in point? Sharon Stone and Dwight Yoakam: need I say more?
CKD, please tell me you did not diss Dwight Yoakam for Sharon Stone's sake. Hee. But Dwight writes such good tunes! And Sharon Stone be looney tunes!

My gf speculated, about Friday's ep, that the atrociously cheese-o-rific Wil de Vry impression of Thing was saved because it was the only take AMC could get in which he wasn't laughing his ass off.
why is Bianca still in that fugly varf?
Bwahahahaaaaaa!!!!!! Hee. Thanks, SFHagood.

On today's ep, when they showed Boyd sleeping before his nightmare, did anybody else say, "Who's the new lesbian?"

How depressing. Bob F. Guiney (hee to whoever called him that) is the Grand Marhsal of Endymion? That makes me completely disinclined to go spend five hours standing around in 40-deep crowds on North Carrollton. Lord knows I was there for Britney, though! Good times.

ETA: Even though it's predictable, Erica is climbing my suspect list now that she was the only character shown actually firing a gun during his/her nightmares today.

So by my count -

Alicia is pimping Kryan,

Gah! It's spoilers like these that make me wish AMC was on a cable channel, where such things wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. But then I realize how many other terrifying things they'd be able to subject us to and I change my mind. But that's still hilarious, and it'll be nice to see Greenlee and David interacting again. I like them together.

To add to starr_00's post about Josh Duhamel appearances for tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/20), he'll also be on NBC's Today show in the morning. Busy guy! It's unfortunate that the movie he's working so hard to promote is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Gorgeous man, dreadful movie. Bleh.

Man, I’d forgotten just how much I missed snarky, despicable, pre-rapetasticWho?Me!Asshat (I’m willing to bet RB was a little relieved when AMC got rid of deVry – he got all her zingers). However, did First Evil Asshole have to be in almost every freakin’ scene? McT still hasn't located or developed a Too. Much (™ Black Knight?)killswitch. Overall, I’d have to say that I liked today’s episode. Lots of cheese, of course, but the pacing (at least in the first 20-25 minutes) was brisk. I could have lived without the Ryan & FEA bonding, Smoan & Boyd’s extended dream segments, and reliving Erica’s 14th birthday for the 45th time, but you take the good with the not so good.

Loved Kendall’s “See you around. Or not.” to Reggie. Hee. And also, poor Reggie. Nice gratuitous shot of Bicep!Boyd – and he wasn’t even bloodied up or anything; somebody’s listening! [/naiveté] Speaking of MyBoyd:
On today's ep, when they showed Boyd sleeping before his nightmare, did anybody else say, "Who's the new lesbian?"

Hey! Don’t be dissing MyBoyd! [small voice] But I do have to admit that his current haircut doesn’t exactly scream “burly mountain man.” Okay, hell, it doesn’t even scream “metrosexual.” [/sv]

Another round of props to the Punisher for remembering who was wearing what during that night. However, minus points for making Lena wear that fugly Robin Hood dress (and Kendall in florals) again. I could have blissfully ignored that bit of continuity. Burn that dress, Lena!

This group needs an intervention.

I think “Bob F. Guiney” was the result of me condensing KerleyQ’s hilarious “Please tell me Rebecca Budig isn't dating Bob Guiney” rant/plea. So I can only claim half a ™. And, Good Lord, sno ball, I didn’t mean to imply that BFG will be marshalling Endymion. That would be truly, truly sad because I heart Endymion. Unfortunately, he’ll cast a blight on a parade about 2 hours west of N. Carrollton. And, Gah!, I’d forgotten that Ms. Spears kicked off the millennium. Thanks for the reminder. /sarcasm :) [/OT]

I wonder who knows she did it, if in fact she did. Dream!Kendall seemed in the know and some of Real!Kendall's actions point to the fact that she might know. Reggie and Erica might also.

I think Kendall and Reggie definitely know--Bianca being the very last person in Reggie's dream to abandon him seemed a big indicator, there was a total "I covered for you and now you're letting me rot?" vibe going on. I first became convinced that Kendall knew when she freaked out upon hearing that Bianca had seen the duffel bag being discovered by the police and frantically questioned Aidan about whether Bianca had seen what was inside, but in hindsight there's been a ton of stuff pointing to her knowing.

I go back and forth constantly on whether Erica suspects. Bianca was so mad at Erica for thinking that Bianca had killed Frankie that she all but cut Erica out of her life that, coupled with Erica's usual huge blind spot where Bianca is concerned (hellloooooo pregnancy), I have trouble believing that Erica would suspect Bianca without some major evidence. Obviously, if she actually saw Bianca kill Michael, or walked in on her daughter holding a gun over Michael's body or something, then that'd be a different story. But then I run into two problems--#1, Erica and Kendall were clearly not in cahoots on the night in question, and given that I'm pretty certain Kendall was there when Bianca killed Michael, that means Erica can't have been there also. #2, if Erica knew or suspected Bianca had killed Michael, she would never have opened her big mouth about Kendall knowing the combination to Jack's safe. Not that the idiot PV police have been able to figure it out, but if Erica told one daughter, she would've told the other daughter too. And Erica would let anyone else, including Jack, go to jail before Bianca. Nor would Erica be cluelessly questioning Reggie about his whereabouts, alibi, how he knows Kendall is innocent, and so on. So, on the whole, I'm pretty sure Erica doesn't know, and I don't think she suspects. (I'm considering Erica telling DreamBianca not to look for "it" because it would hurt Erica as Bianca's own subconscious worrying about the effect of anything she does on her mother as usual, as that wasn't Erica's own nightmare. Anything we saw in a specific nightmare came from First Evil Asscicle or the dreamer's own subconscious--the other dreamers aren't making visits. Plus AMC's clearly setting Erica up as the red herring.)

My list would end up as follows: Kendall and Reggie know for sure, and Jack, David and Maggie suspect. Everyone else is clueless. Lena's nightmare might cause her to start suspecting, though. I think that's what FEA wanted to accomplish with all the "Bianca belongs to me" stuff, really emphasizing that Bianca's still in great danger even though he's dead.

Black Knight, are you still going cold turkey on the PBPs?

I was off from work today, so I was able to watch AMC live. I'll go back to the PBPs now until we get a date for the ep in which the reveal is made, that is, if we get a date at all. The spoilers are being very unreliable in terms of dates, weeks, etc. lately, particularly SON's, which keeps misidentifying the week something's going to air.

I realized today that I want Kaidan so much, I'm seriously contemplating starting one of those ridiculous fan campaigns.

Hee. I got new hope for Kaidan today from the fact that in Kendall's nightmare, Ryan abandoned her first and Aidan second. Ryan's her passion, but Aidan's her bedrock. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

[OT]So Batchelor Bob isn't Grand Marshall of Endymion? Good, cause my Mobile Mardi Gras lovin' self was gonna have to snark on New Orleans big time. 'Tis getting to be the season isn't it. I have no money this month due to buying an ungodly amount of throws for my parade. I may be coming over for Bacchus, since one of my friends has this unreasonable crush on Elijah Woods, who I'm pretty convinced is gay. All the wonderful manflesh in Lord of the Rings, and she picks Elijah Woods.[/OT]

And now, back to our show. I saw a spoiler somewhere for the next couple of weeks that says Kendall and Ryan beg Greenlee not to expose Kendall's secret. If the POTB have Greenlee do something that could result in Kendall being sentenced to death, I think it might completely destroy Greenlee's viability as a likeable character. They've done a pretty good job already.
CKD
Erica must know something because the SON spoilers - and I think we all agree that, while they may be incorrectly dated, they are, in fact, very reliable, say that 1)Bianca recalls leaving Erica's penthouse the night Michael was killed in order to throw away Reggie's gun; 2) Bianca retraces her steps back to Cambias' condo; 3)Bianca comes across Erica at the condo which brings back more memories

Unless the wording of that last bit is terribly misleading, then one would assume that Erica and Bianca saw each other at Michael's condo the night he was killed - whether before, during or after the fact - and it's impossible to fathom that Erica would have just left Bianca there.

Following the seemingly prevailing theory that Bianca is the killer - which you all know is not my theory - then with what gun did she do it? The one with her prints on it was not, as far as I remember, the one that shot Michael, but maybe the gun in the duffle bag is. If that's the gun that killed Michael, how would Bianca have gotten her hands on it? Still following the "Bianca is the killer" theory, it would stand to follow she and Kendall - whom I am positive is the woman who stole the gun from Jack's safe - would have had to struggle for it, which would then mean Kendall wiped Bianca's prints off the gun and replaced them with her own (since we know the only prints on that gun are Kendall's).

This is just much too overwrought, but I wouldn't put it past AMC to think this is just brilliant when, for me, it would be a snooze a minute.

...This is just much too overwrought, but I wouldn't put it past AMC to think this is just brilliant...

I think this perfectly summarizes how I feel about the writing on this show. It's all about "them vs. us."
  • Them: Think all of the red herrings, ret-cons, etc. are engrossing and clever tactics to keep the audience guessing as to who killed Assicle, while simultaneously buying time to decide themselves who offed the bastard. 6 months! Brilliant.
  • Us: Digusted with the dumbing down of previously intelligent characters to fit the plot and the snail-like two-steps forward, one-step back motion of the storyline. FF.
  • Them: Throw couples together, declare ‘I Love You’ after five minutes, triangulate, rinse, and endlessly repeat. Inspired!
  • Us: Not really. FF.
  • Them: Constantly spoon-feed loser characters to the audience. Isn’t Carloser the most hulking piece of manflesh this side of the PV Ocean -- and he's a sensitive arteeest to boot. Even Grandaddy Greenlee thinks so! That Babe is such a good-hearted kid; she just needs a fair shake. bless her heart. Don't believe us? Ask Liza or Marian or Opal. Ryan is a saint for not only taking Kendall back but also unselfishly relinquishing his claim to the Cambias fortune. And poor Maggie, she’s Bianca's rock but she's so confused. Empathy-inducing!
  • Us: Vomit-inducing. FF.

CKD, for all we know, Bianca saw Erica, but Erica didn't see her. As you pointed out, it's unfathomable that Erica would simply have left Bianca anywhere near Michael's condo, whether before, during, or after. And since Erica and Kendall are clearly not in cahoots, as far as the night of Michael's death goes, there's no possibility of them having teamed up together to pack Bianca off, get rid of Michael's body, and so on. So Erica may suspect something, which on the whole I doubt, but she definitely can't know that Bianca did it. I think Bianca running across Erica at the condo is mostly intended as a red herring on AMC's part--right now, they're trying to make us think that Erica did it.

The one with her prints on it was not, as far as I remember, the one that shot Michael, but maybe the gun in the duffle bag is. If that's the gun that killed Michael, how would Bianca have gotten her hands on it?

It's not known yet what gun actually killed Michael. The slug taken from Michael's body is too damaged to trace to a particular gun. Most likely, Michael was killed with Jack's gun, which is the gun that was found in the duffel bag with Michael's blood and hair/fibers from Kendall, but there's also an outside chance that Michael was killed with Reggie's gun or another gun entirely. My Bianca theory has always had her doing it with Jack's gun, though. For one thing, Kendall wouldn't have left it up to Bianca to get rid of Reggie's gun if it was the murder weapon.

It would have been easy for Bianca to get her hands on Jack's gun. When we last saw her, the night of the murder, she was looking for Reggie, who had left the penthouse. So by that time, she was alone. Jack's gun was taken from the safe after that. As I've said before, if Erica told Kendall about Jack's romantic choice of a safe combination, she would certainly have told her other daughter too. And that's also one of the biggest reasons why I don't think Erica knows or suspects Bianca--she would not have told the police about Kendall knowing the combination to the safe, otherwise. Too easy for them to follow the lead past Kendall, right back to Bianca. Erica was trying to help Jack, yes, but she would never do so at Bianca's expense.

That's really the biggest problem, as far as plausibility goes, with this murder mystery. The police have been made to look like absolutely incompetent idiots (even for a soap opera) because they've never even bothered to look at Bianca. If Anna were still around that would've made some sense, because I could buy her suspecting the truth and steering the investigation away from Bianca, but Derek's been zealous in investigating the case and is very certain of Kendall's guilt.
CKD
The hand that reached inside Jack's safe was not Bianca's. It was a wrist with a fairly large mole/beauty mark on its side: Bianca, as far as I can tell, doesn't have any such mark on her wrists. Of course, since I don't usually look at her wrists, I could be wrong.

As far as which gun killed Michael - that's anybody's guess and, with a good lawyer, that alone could get Kendall a "not guilty" verdict. The hair/fibers on the duffle gun are Michael's, not Kendall's: the police have repeatedly said the gun has Kendall's prints and Michael's fibers. It might change later to fit whatever resolution McT decides to give the murder crap, but those are the facts as of today.

The police have overlooked a boatload of suspects, not just Bianca: she may turn out to be the killer, but the police didn't bother to question Maggie, either, who, right in the station, said she was there that night. I don't think she did it, but it's unbelievable that she'd make that statement right in front of the ADA and Police Chief and no one even thinks about interrogating her!

I am so sick and tired of this crap: everyone was there that night, everyone did something, everyone thinks they're covering for someone else and I am interested in none of it. Great way to create tension, Megan.

ETA: Silver Kane , word on "how many awful things can they do to one character." It's one of the reasons why I refuse to believe Bianca is the killer - aside from the boredom factor. My bet is still Myrtle, too, even while perfectly aware that she would probably not let Kendall stand trial for the murder. It's much more likely that Myrtle would march into the DA's office and declare she's the killer, but - hey, if AMC can suspend disbelief, then so can I.
Silver Kane
Just a couple of points to ponder....

Erica mentioned to Lena in jail that guns are not her style. She wanted to kill him but couldn't think she could. I'm ruling out both Erica and Lena. Kendall didn't do it for sure and is just covering up. She probably thinks Bianca did it. We know Jack didn't do it. Simone is a shot in the dark and was just stuck in there to add to the mix. Boyd was with Kendall so he didn't do it, just helped her cover up and dispose of the body. Palmer and Adams wanted to put Michael in jail by planting drugs. They weren't out to murder him. Bianca the killer? Don't think so. How many awful things can they do to one character. If she is the killer then they would, at a minimum, lock her up for awhile in a mental institution. She can't just get off scott free, unless they can prove self defense. My bet is still Myrtle. I heard the killer is going to be a beloved character so that excludes all mentioned above and especially Maggie who's not mentioned above. As a side note, how come they haven't subpeonaed Maggie as a witness for the prosecution and what became of the gun she was sporting the night of the murder. Oh, if it could only be Maggie my prayers would be answered! Prison garb would be a step up in the wardrobe department.

Yesterday's eppy was so, so and was just a way to reacquaint us with all the characters who wanted the Wadsicle dead. I thought the Lena dream was the most entertaining. It reminded me of the poison dream from the movie 9 to 5 when Lily Tomlin dreams about poisoning her boss. Tres funny. Glad they are showing Lena's lighter side these days. /sk
