Krystal needs to get her skanky hands off Mimo! I wanted to smack her for making that poor baby listen to her ho lessons. No wonder Babe turned out like she did when it comes to men. Judging from Krystal's talk to poor Mimo, Babe's probably been hearing tales of skankitude since birth. Grrr!
Kenlee! Yummy! I cracked up at Greens going through Kendall's purse. I would have broken her tiny, tiny muscular arms but Kendall didn't seem to mind. I'm glad they got to get their flirt on, even though Greens morphed into old school Greens. You know, how she seemed to be sitting back and wanting Kendall to reassure her like Greens is the wronged party. I didn't dig that but pretty makes up for a lot. Speaking of pretty...
Anita/Binks! That was cool. I'm not sure why TPTB felt the need to have Binks fluff Anita but I soooooo don't care because Anita joined the ranks of Bianca's Bitches awful quick. Hee! The "Anything you want!", and immediately being super protective, yep, Anita has been Binksed. Eden rocked that scene, I felt horrible for Bianca. Ugh, make it stop! Back to the pretty, I enjoyed hearing about Anita protecting wittle Binksy from Rosa the meany-pants. "She knew she was supposed to be nice to you." That line made me chuckle for some reason, don't ask me why.
Are we sure that Anita is really a Santos? NuAnita seems too nice, unlike her sister who Brooke should kick the shit out of. Shut it, Maria! You bug me, man. Why is Brooke running up to everyone and asking them to kick her? Whatever, Julia rocks.

Sorry for being so late in this, but all the Saved by the Bell/AMC talk reminded me that there was a nother connection. The actor who played Lucas Barnes on AMC, Richard Lawson, was ther eal life father of the girl that played Megan on SBTBTNC and Kendra on Buffy.

Holy crap! It’s an epidemic! I don’t watch ER, but I happened to catch the show last night. They killed the lesbian doctor’s girlfriend then took her baby away. What the heck is going on? For a minute there I thought I was watching AMC. I guess McT’s memo to torture the lesbians has been passed around.

swtrgrl, naw. All the smart people in TWW scare me. I used to be a big ol' WW freak, though, and I read the recaps faithfully until Sam officially disappeared into Mandyville. ::sniff::
I kind of like that image of Lionel Tribbey beating on Ryan, though. Tribbey with a cricket bat versus Ruan with a chainsaw: who will win?
The only one of those spoilers I like is Greenlee, Tad, and Aidan humoring Bianca about Mimo. That's four people I really like all on one set, even if the circumstances are so stupid. And Bianca will have at least a few hours to be with her own damn baby without people telling her she's delusional.
Dramatic storyline, schmatic schtoryline--they can't settle this thing fast enough for me. If Babe spontaneously ordered a DNA test for Mimo next week, I wouldn't complain.

LOVED the Greendall scenes, until Mia and Simone had to butt in and spoil the mood. And the "fill in each other's blanks" line was definitely dirrrrty.
And I've always wondered why Julia Barr bothers to stay on the show. I mean, as bad as things have been for Bianca in the past year, Brooke is the queen of having to endure one crappy storyline after another. Beyond that, when was the last time she was in a stable, happy relationship for more than a few months? Pre-Maria Edmund? Pre-Dixie Tad? Tom Cudahy?!?

Was busy this week, so just watched the last four episodes today. As much as I was against this babyswitch SL, I gotta admit, it's made for some great drama. Between Reggie/Bianca and Bianca and Greelee at the crash site, I now have a headache from crying! Damn you Eden and your excellent acting making me feel real emotions!!!
Some other observations about this week:
Does Anita ever sleep? She's always at the hospital, and does being a "physician's assistant" mean you get to do everything at the hospital?
I do like the possibilty of a Anita/Bobby/Greenlee triangle. Speaking of Bobby, someone please make me understand why Tad is the only person who has recognized him.
It was nice seeing Brooke and Liza this week, even if they were both subjected to crappy scenes. I am excited about the spolier ; Mary is jealous of Brooke and Adam's closeness, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. Oh, and shut up Maria.
So, how are those Kendall/Ryan scenes? I wouldn't know, because my CamMath hate is now outweighing my Alicia Minshew love and I am FF'ing.
Lena telling Paul he'd be "the sorriest son of a beetch in two cities" was great, but couldn't we have seen more?? Lena recast my Aunt Fanny.
And the Fusion Girls reunion was great, if for no other reason it provided a chance for stupid ol' Mia to deliver my favorite line of the week, which I am paraphrasing: "You had time to think about all that when you were stuck in that DIRTHOLE" ...!!!! 'Dirthole'??? WTF? I don't know why that struck me as so funny, but I was rolling. Ah, Mia you ignorant slut, it's called a mine shaft!

I finally got around to watching Thursday's episode. My God, Bianca is just breaking my heart. Eden and Rebecca were at the top of their game. I was a little afraid that the whole Leo/necklace thing was just going to be wasted on Ryan, but they did follow up, and it was wonderful. Greenlee, down on her knees, offering jewelry to Bianca...bwah.
I wonder how Kendall's going to feel when she realizes Greenlee proposed and Bianca accepted?
I actually didn't loathe Ryan in those bar scenes. I found him amusing. There must be something wrong with me.

oysterverse, I must admit I'm with you when it comes to the bar scenes. CamMath is slightly less hate-able when he's on-screen with a bunch of men. And my Michael E Knight Love just took over--I wish Jackson had been with them, honestly...MEK and WW together just make me smile. I loved MEK going for a CamMath hug after Edmund got one...I loved that Ryan got a chainsaw out for his pal Edmund. I enjoyed those scenes...
Anything with CM and Alicia...painful still. I endure it to see Alicia still, but pretty soon, I may have to ff.

Because, that is what is happening to everybody, right? Who is active? Who is doing anything (oh, Ryan with a chainsaw?) Who is making ANYTHING happen? Wait... Paul Kramer? He orchestrated this theater of the absurd where every freaking person in PV is MiMo? ... Pick you character: My Incredibly Miserable Observations.
Take your pick: Eddie is on his pity-pot chair. Erica is drinking her way out of might-have-been-grandma-to-a-rapist's-child, DrivenDave is still rockin' that poor Leora in his heart, Greenlee keeps going over those falls and trying to exorcise Leo by sending his jewelry away - out Leo - out Leo spot - out damn spot.
Finally, we know finding MiMo means: Shudder! Eden, you better get that Emmy!

First off, it's killing me to pass up all of these spoilers, but I've resolved to stay strong. The only way to watch a plot you hate, is to be at least somewhat surprised by what happens from day to day, at least IMO.
I pretty much thoroughly enjoyed Friday's episode, but not for all of the right reasons.
This epsidoe made it 100% official for me. I. Hate. Maria. Hate. The only part I didn't like of Brooke telling her off, was that she was way too nice about it. And, hell, it seems to me even the writers hate Maria, at least if you judge this (paraphrased) exchange:
Brooke - "the only thing you don't blame me for is breathing".
Maria - "well, I do kind of blame you for that, as well".
Bitch. Hag. Go get in another plane crash, and lose your memory, and wander off for another five years.
Wow, that sounded harsh. But, I can't find myself caring.
While I thought the "male bonding" scenes were pretty much pure cheese, I loved Aiden and Tad being in the same scenes, and I laughed my butt off at every David appearance. Poor guy - he's reduced to making comments on the sidelines, like the kid that really wants to get in the baseball game, but knew no one will ask him, so he makes snide comments instead. Aw, I just love David; he deserves to be comforted. By Kendall. Krystall can just back the hell off - she's already ruined my Timone, she had better not ruin my Kenvid. Which is NOT all in my head. Really!
I loved, loved, loved the Fusion four all putting on the rose-colored glasses, and glossing over the bad parts, and getting back together; even if it only lasts an episode or two. I just love all of the scenes with those four - I even tolerate Mia. I hope these crazy kids can make it work.
But, damn you McTrash, don't set Bianca, and us, up for this horrible fall. Because we can all see it happening - the inevitable explanations from everyone to Bianca that, no, "Bess" is not Mimo, Bianca didn't really remember the night she spent with her baby, and even though no TESTS were done, it's 100% conclusive that the baby is Babe's. What. Ever. I hate it now, and I'm going to hate it even more next week when I see it being played out.
I'm past the point whre I was riveted by all the plot, and acting, and crying, and am now at the point that all I feel is disgust, and revulsion. And, knowing this soap, I'll be feeling this for many, many months to come.

Lena/Olga Sosnovaka alert for fans, BBC America airs "Take Me" an adult thriller/romance with Olga in a supporting role. Olga plays the other half of a swing suburan couple. Her hottness is cast as a the temptess neighbor. Series begins April 16th at 10pm.

Actually, "Take Me" had its first airing this past Friday night on BBC America. From what I've read, it has six parts to it. Every Friday night at 10:00pm, with repeats on the same night. Olga does indeed play a temptress... and she's damn good at it.

Bianca killed Micheal in self-defense. She blocked out the memory but remembered that she was the one who did it, and came forward. No charges were filed because it was deemed self-defense.

Watched all 5 episodes on Sunday so that I could do it fast like ripping off a band-aid. Eden, Alicia, Rebecca - they are all breaking my heart. I am still worried that even though we all hate the story and we are tuning in for the superb acting that McTrash is going to feel justified somehow.

Unfortunately, I can add no insightful analysis because I caught only bits & pieces of the show the past few weeks (my mom was in the hospital) and got so far behind reading here that I had to skim a bit to catch up. (I know, skimming snark -- for shame!) What little I did see was on those teeny-tiny hospital TVs that swing out from the wall, and with the sound turned down too low to be very helpful -- though Eden’s haunted looks & quivering chin were still enough to rip my heart out even when condensed and on mute. I taped, but so far only had the energy to rewind for a couple of the precious few remaining Lena scenes.
So the only thing I can offer is my surreal AMC experience in the hospital parking garage late one night. I stumbled out to my car, surprised to discover that someone (I assume when the garage was full) had parked past my end spot on the row (ie, not in a frellin' space). In order to fit and (barely) allow cars to still get by, they left only inches between our cars. I had to climb over from my passenger door (over a center console thingie, not an easy task even when I am not tired and cranky). Someone else driving out late stopped to warn me to check my car and write down the car’s license in case of damages, & then even recited it aloud to me. It sounded like… nah, I must have misheard. So, after thanking them and using my 3-point-turn skills to get my car to freedom, I got out to check the plate. (Now I was exhausted, stressed, and mucho worried about mom, so I am claiming temporary insanity.) Their vanity plate consisted of a digit preceded by… “BAM”. My first reaction was “Ruh-roh, they’ve identified me as a Olga/Lianca fan, and now they know my car.“ My next thought was ”…wait -- there’s enough of the 32 in little ol’ Delaware to have to add digits onto the end of the vanity plate…?” ;)
(Sorry this turned out so very rambling – but hey, at least we’re off page 2!)
ETA: ...and it wasn't even needed after all 'cause Dabney got here with something directly related to the show. Oh well -- move along people, nothin' worth seeing here.

Ripley, that experience must have been frightening for you. I know I would be scared at the thought of lil' bammers hiding out in darkened parking garages just waiting to chew at my ankles. But I think you can feel comforted by the fact that most of Retcon32 are all under the age of 14, therefore can't legally drive and own cars. But who knows...
About Olga in Take Me, its definitely a must see for Olga fans. She is scrum-diddly-umptious...esp. with her British accent. Just hearing her say "wankers" got me all kinds of excited.

I get it now. Tad is taking a hiatus from his harem because he's realized he's not just spiritually gay...hence all the fuss about making Aiden his new partner. Hee. They are a bundle of cute, aren't they? I actually find myself looking forward to those Tad-Aidan-Greenlee humoring "delusional" Bianca at the penthouse scenes.
Forget the Greenby and the Kenvid. Bring on the Gravid! Or at the least, please give Greenlee and David more scenes together, preferably ones that do not involve Ryan in any way, shape or form. They're so damn sweet. I loved that David said Greenlee's apartment was the only place he could go to in Pine Valley where he wouldn't feel like punching someone. Greenlee and David have damn few close relationships as it is--they shouldn't neglect each other.
Stupid Nurse Lady? You go to hell. This hostility towards Bianca is asinine. In real life, most people in the local community would think Bianca did well to kill the man who raped her after the courts set him free--even if it hadn't been in self-defense. I doubt there'd be very many women running around snarking about how Bianca got away with murder and deserved to have her infant daughter die. It's so contrived. It's not exactly as if Michael was a local favored son.

I hear ya grinaldi. I actually miss the days of Myrtle's ugly boarding house. Ahh remember when there was a Lena/Binks/Boyd love triangle and they'd converge at Myrtle's...they brought beauty to an otherwise fugly place. Reminiscing about Simone & Myrtle drinking that 'special' lemonade.
Oh sorry, I got off on a different tangent. I miss the 'not-so-old' days. Anyhoo, I have no snark for today's show. I watched Strangers with Candy instead. A quick questions for you folks. I was reading on the OLTL board and someone talked about Thorsten Kaye signing on to AMC. Is this the same actor that played Irish Patrick on OL?

Bianca and Miranda. Awwww. Go away Nurse BitchFace! I hope if Paul at some point has to change the Miranda's DNA tests, that Nurse BitchFace catches him and he's forced to kill her. At least that way we'd know he's good for something.

I liked the good old days when there would suddenly be these spooky gothic manors around town that people would move in to and they would come with ghosts of not-actually-dead wives or secret passages from the Underground Railroad.
The thought of Kinks buying and living in a haunted mansion makes me laugh. Mimo is the cutest baby ever.

Wow is all I have to say. Topics over here are much more controversial then at the Liz Board. Anyways my opinion: If the writers though that it would be too hard to play out Bianca's storyline as being gay, then they shouldn't have made her gay in the first place, plain and simple. I think that she has progressed so far as finding herself and being comfortable with her sexuality that it would be completely asinine if they decided to turn it around. Eden has been praised by many for taking on this roll. Bianca, by now seems pretty confident with who she is and her sexuality, she has been gay for 3 years (or more can't remember)-why would they want to rock the boat now? I for one would definetly stop watching, I think a lot of Eden fans would as well-they should have had Bianca question her sexuality a LONG time ago, and they did when they added that whole storyline with Marcus, and how she wanted to sleep with Leo. If the writers even considered pulling this 180 and turning Bink's straight/bi or whatever-I think that the writers would be getting a lot of hate mail. However, I am going to take this as a dirty rumor and continue to have faith in Bianca and her journey....also what would they do with Maggie? They have been hinting at BAM for a really long time...I think that it is just to farfetched to ever play out(not BAM of course but Bianca and her sexuality). All the loyal viewers watched as Bianca came to grips with her sexuality-it's already been said and done! It was also painful to watch as well, especially those scenes with Erica. Why don't we work on Maggie for a change?

I've said it before, and those transcripts compel me to say it again--Ruler straight, people. Ruler.Straight. She laid it out numerous times to both Bianca and Henry. Oh crap, all this Henry/Maggie talk makes me feel a coma coming on. Must...stay...awake.....
Did anyone else notice today that Danielle's facial structure is remarkably similar to Greenlee's? Did Jack have a little hookup with Mimi we don't know about?? Maybe that's why Derek had such a hard on to pin something on Jack during the Cambias mystery.
So, if I'm assuming correctly, and 20+ years of soap viewing leads me to believe I am...Despite the circumstances surrounding the "death" of one of the babies in the chopper crash, and despite Bianca's current insistence that THIS is the baby she gave birth to, I'd be willing to bet there will still be no DNA test done on Mimo. Because that would be the smart thing to do. Also, is Pie Balley's hospital the only one in the country without some sort of security to make sure no one goes wandering off with a baby or wandering into the nursery whenever they please? When I had my son, he had an electronic security tag on his ankle. You tried to take him out of there or cut the tag off before it was deactivated, and that whole place would have gone on instant lockdown.
Can someone explain to me why in a town where Aidan is a free man, two of the most eligible single women in town are throwing themselves at Ryan? Have I just not taken the required amount of drugs for this to make sense? Hell, I'm ready to start demanding some Aidan/Simone chem-testing, since I just know they're also planning on screwing me out of my Timone.
