Can't leave out the website - Kinks. I think the plethora of screencaps all on one page leaves no doubt for anyone that we're definitely looking at true love. Heh.

By the way, I keep forgetting to mention--Laura Allen, who played the second Laura English, was on Cold Case on Sunday as the murder victim. Her character's brunette best friend was secretly in love with her, just like Bianca/Laura. Too funny. (There was also sibling incest, in the form of a brother and sister, as a major plot point in the episode.)

I laughed my ass off at that line. Woke the dog up.



Well, it would be less pointless than the Gryan shit they tried to pull on us. A mother's transcendental love for her infant child is a lot more palatable than Ryan making crude shocked faces and waving his arms around. It was implausible to start with, and when you throw Ryan into the mix...the implausible becomes the stupid. Golly, I hate Ryan with the burning passion of a thousand fiery suns.

Black Knight, question--I never caught the backstory on PsychoLaura (favorite scene: the one where she ripped up Greenlee's photo and tried to flush it down the toilet. Either that, or the one where she locked Greenlee in the closet). Why did she have the same name as Brooke's dead daughter? That's...sort of morbid. Was she an adoptee a la Reggie with Jack, or an adoptee a la Sammy with Edmund and Maria?



Hee hee hee hee hee hee! Yeah. It's complicated--okay, not so much. It's just that Kendall and Bianca are so touchy and feely and couple-y that they appear far more in love than Bianca and any of her other love interests. More than Kendall and any of her love interests, too, for that matter. Also, there appears to be some kind of devil-worship-thing, but I think the primary focus is on the incest.

Gosh, I miss Lena already. What's that you say? She hasn't actually left the show yet? Could've fooled me.

I was also laughing my ass off at the Greenlee/Bianca hospital scene. Bianca's "I don't need Kendall...I need you." was good, but then I lost it completely when Greenlee said something like "Get back in bed, we're waiting for Kendall." My mind went to a naughty, naughty place.

Word to all the Ryan hate. This Ryan/Kendall love story crap is so out of place with what's going on right now. Surely Kendall does not care about Ryan and his poor, hurt feelings at this particular time. "The lady will have a Cosmo, and bask in the glory that is Me." Shut up, bastard. Goddammit, he pisses me off. I miss Aidan. Why the hell can't we have Kaidan? Help us, Dark Father. Yes, we appreciate the Kinks, the sled is comfy, but save us from the torture that is Ryan.

It kills me to say it, but you're probably right. RYAN will figure out that Bess is Miranda. RYAN will then find Babe's baby. RYAN will reuinite all lost parties, find Erica and reunite her with her family, and a big shirtless statue will be built in the park, right after he chases the snakes out of Pine Valley and turns water into wine, and after making the blind see and the lame walk, presumably by grabbing them by the arm and spinning them around and howling his lines into their faces the way he does.

It was a coincidence, but I did think it was a little creepy. Basically, Laura the teenage runaway arrived in Pine Valley, and Brooke became interested in helping her out because she had the same name as Brooke's dead daughter. Laura formed a daughter-mother connection with Janet instead, though, and she, Janet and Pierce created this interesting family out in the woods for a little while. But then they all ended up returning to Pine Valley, I forget why, and Brooke ended up taking both Janet's "daughter" and Janet's boyfriend from her. The whole thing pissed me off greatly. It was presented like, because Laura had the same name as Brooke's dead daughter, it was only right, destiny, whatever that Brooke adopt Laura. And Brooke got Janet's boyfriend too, because Brooke was perfect and Janet was a psycho. Whatever. I hated how Janet was screwed over.


Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The AMC promos do keep playing up the "a mother's instincts" angle. I'm really, really hoping we're not going down some ridiculous path where Bianca is sane if she's wrong, and insane if she's right. I mean, it's fine if people think she's crazy, but it's not so fine if she's really supposed to be crazy when she's right. Up until she heard Miranda crying out in the woods yesterday, all the "craziness" we saw was of the variety where it just looked/sounded bad to others, but she was really reasonably sane. The crying's more difficult, though, hence my hope that maybe it's another psychic connection, as much as I hated Gryan's. At least it's more palatable, as you say.

I understood why Janet couldn't keep Laura. Janet was a convicted murderer. But it was just ridiculous how they took pretty much everything Janet had and gave it to Brooke. What WAS that? Did they originally want that living-in-the-woods storyline for Brooke but she didn't fill out a tanktop as well? And then they stuck Janet with Trevor, which was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. No way I bought that he'd fall for Janet. I'd believe forgiveness and a tentative truce but not a romance. It was the death knell for both Janet AND Trevor.

There were only two redeemable aspects about yesterday's episode:

1) Tad's scene with Bobby. It's about time a PV resident actually recognized who he was. The scene at the end with Anita was cute, but I give them two months, tops. BTW, I dunno if this was mentioned before, but did y'all know that Anita's character on Saved By the Bell was also named "Warner"? No joke.

2) Greenlee and Bianca. RB brought her A-game to match Eden's. You just knew Binky was going to play the Leo card. Can't wait for the Greendall scenes today. Does Pine Valley Hospital keep extra lotion in stock?

Other than that? A big, fat meh.

I think they were originally planning a redux Janet/Natalie for Janet/Brooke. There were a few scenes were it seemed like Janet was going to try to take over Brooke's life. But that story was nixed. I think that was the first time McTavished was fired. She had a Janet plants a bomb story which would have aired fairly soon after Oklahoma City but ABC nixed it and the stuff was re-written.

Quick question: yesterday, Krystal told J.R. about the marriage annulment: did I miss the big reveal somewhere? I don't pay a lot of attention to Jar-Jar Boobe but I thought the Babe/Paul wedding thing was supposed to be kept from Adam and J.R....

David, please stop vacuuming Krystal's mouth.

Exactly - I understood why Laura couldn't stay with Janet, but AMC just dropped the Laura/Janet relationship altogether. As for Pierce, the original Pierce had tons of chemistry with Janet and none with Brooke. Of course, he was fired and NuPierce was just sucky and just another in the string of Brooke's godawful failed love interests. I suppose it wasn't as bad as when Brooke fell for the child pornographer or for the guy who'd killed the first Laura. Poor Julia Barr.

Yeah, I remember that. They changed it to where Kendall found out what Janet was up to and was deperately begging her to come to her senses. I ended up liking how that went because that Kendall/Janet scene was great and I always loved their friendship. After the aborted bombing was when Janet ran off to the woods and hooked up with Pierce and Laura.

Stealing.This. OnlyinPV, I hope you don't mind. This is the perfect way for fans to explain RYAN hate. The only story where he has no power is the relationship of the Kinks girlfisters. Just one more reason to ship Kinks, IMO.

The Olga flower drive got a nice write up in SOW, and McTrash is now saying they might recast Lena at some point in the future. Cam Mathison's bug eyed because his kid is keeping him up nights ,and Lil Budig is talking about having kids of her own maybe to drown out all the pinging. Another magazine says TIIC want LaLucci to take a pay cut but are scared to ask her.

I was thinking exactly that today while suffering through the Kryan scenes. Kinks gets in the way of Kryan, thank the Dark Father. First the horrible conversation at the Valley Inn is interrupted by the SOS about Bianca, and Kendall makes a vapor trail. Then later Kendall, pissy about Greenlee interacting with Bianca, gets mad at Ryan for defending Greenlee, and Ryan makes a vapor trail. Whee! If there's one reason to continue wishing trouble on poor cursed Bianca, it's that it keeps Kendall close to her and not paying as much attention to Frankenbrow.

Really, Frankenbrow must die. Before the phone call about Bianca came, I was actually reading my paper and trying to avoid looking at the screen because I just couldn't stand the Kryan scenes anymore. That's just wrong. I think the reason why I'm finding Kryan so especially painful is that, unlike Rebecca and Eden with the equally unpopular Greenlee/Carlos and BAM pairings, Alicia plays the Kryan scenes for all they're worth. In contrast, Rebecca was showing open disgust during the Greenlos crap, and Eden has not played a shred of romantic interest in Naggie since the boathouse episodes last January.

I hate children (Mimo aside), and even I realize that that boy was way too old to buy Aidan's Mars crap. All of that was lame, from the tired old stuck-in-the-elevator gambit to the forced bonding. Anita asking Aidan for advice was pathetic, and I was glad he pointed out that he barely knows her or Bobby, instead of advising her on what to do.

JR was cute today, with how over the moon he is over Babe and "Bess". I was thinking that Miranda just might reconsider wanting to be reunited with her real mother--even with MommyKendall's influence, I think Bianca's smart enough to not buy Miranda the oodles of goodies JR and Babe are planning on. Heh.

The Greenlee/Bianca scenes were great. It's so nice to see Rebecca getting some screentime and well-written scenes opposite someone who can, y'know, act. Greenlee's really the perfect person in some ways to talk to Bianca about Miranda, since Leo's body was never found either and Greenlee refused to believe for weeks that Leo was really dead, but then on the other hand, Miranda is actually alive, so in that respect, no one should be convincing Bianca of anything different.

I'm surprised Bianca could breathe when Kendall threw herself at her girlfister. Heh. Just more proof that Kendall comes first--hugging Bianca, tucking her into bed. Lena got to take over only after Kendall had dragged Greenlee out of the room to rip her head off. Greenlee loves Bianca? Oy. That wasn't a bright thing to tell Kendall, Greens, whether she actually believes you or not. Either way, Kendall feels Greenlee needs to be kept away from Bianca, and Operation Destroy Greenlee is hence now in motion. Heh.

I was yelling at Bianca to be quiet though, when she was talking to Kendall. I understand what she's trying to say--her scene with Lena afterwards made it clear Bianca believes again that Miranda is dead--but she's expressing herself so misleadingly that she's writing her own commitment papers. Sigh. Kendall is one thing, but if this gets back to Uncle Foo Foo...

The SID previews for May say that Tad takes Bianca seriously about the possibility that Bess is Miranda. But that someone else gets involved...I'm guessing that means a blood test is finally done, and Pugly tampers with it.

BWAHAHHAHAHAHAAA! I love/hate David, but I hate/hate Krystal, so the two of them together is a big MEH for me. Kinda like putting Aidan with Anita--bleah. Keep her with NuBobby, please.

And that was the ONLY bit of entertainment while suffering through the Carlos-fluffing era. Seeing all the new ways for Rebecca to grimace while playing those scenes. That was some funny shit.

I usually FF through the Ryan scenes, but today I watched the whole thing. I ended up staring at him and thinking that the lighting guys must go crazy getting the lights right for his face. That brow of his really does cast a huge shadow. For most of the time his eyes are in total darkness. It's so unnerving.

I enjoy the Kinks as much as any of my fellow sledders, but it just seems off to have Kendall ordering Lena to watch over Bianca while Kendall goes out to scratch Greenlee's eyes out.

Watching Rebecca do that tight lipped "smile" that actually betrays her revulsion in the CarLess scenes was the only thing that made it worth while. Ah, this current year has made me long for those good old days. How sad is that?


This being the soaps, I refuse to believe that Leo is dead. He's just got amnesia somewhere. I bet he woke up, thought his name was Danny and joined the marines. Now he's working at some casino or something...

Why are we spoiler tagging the fact that Lena is leaving? Doesn't practically everyone here know about it. We've discussed Olga going on MI-5 and the interview in T.V Guide came out over a week ago. Hmm...okay, I'll continue blacking it out.

I don't give a rat's ass whether they recast Lena or not. I imagine the hardcore Olga fans (I'm one) will not watch the show so why get all upset if they do recast? I for one, won't watch anymore but thats mainly because I am sick of the long and drawn-out asinine storylines that for some reason always have to involve Bianca in some tragedy or another. I'm kinda using Olga's exit as an excuse to quit watching the show.

Gosh, I can't tell you how much I love the fact that Leo is still such a big presence between these two, and isn't just shuffled under the rug like so many other departed characters are. And I'm not even thinking about the parallels between the two "deaths". Even if I didn't love him so damn much (and it's really kind of shameful how much I loved both the character and the actor), it's just such a great use of history between these two characters. He's the reason that a) they spent so much time together, and b)completely hated each other.

I'm so glad that the writers are deciding to use this, instead of trying to ignore it, and just use the "Jack is Greenlee's father" for the bonding parts, and "Greenlee hated Erica, and therefore Bianca" for the hating parts. Because everyone know that those two plots were, and are, secondary to the Leo angle.

Well, hell, this week has just been a big nothing for me. First the storm, so that I missed Tuesday, and then today, I foolishly left my VCR on from last night, and missed recording today's episode as well! I won't be so selfish to demand a full recap, but please...if there was any good Kinks...could someone describe the scenes to me in full, luscious, detail? Because, if I'm going to hell, I might as well enjoy myself.

OK, given those spoilers...

How the heck are McTrash and others going to drag this story out much longer?? If Tad is on the case, I am *convinced* he'll figure it out and if he does, no one, not even Krystal will keep him from doing the right thing. He lost Dixie and Kate...if he knows Bianca's child is alive, he won't keep her away from Miranda.

So, does this mean that Bianca will accept that Mimo is dead but Tad will then be handling the doubt ball? Babe may be dumber than a box of hair but she's got a good heart, I guess. Not siccing the cops on poor Binks and all. Gah! This sucks. :(

How long will McTrash drag this out? Well I read at the SS that McTrash said, "There's real hope throughout May that the secret [of the baby switch] will be revealed." So in other words...it'll drag on past May...dare I say until Nov. sweeps? Of course this is just my speculation.

I hope I get to see more Kinks before I quit this show. With those spoilers, it seems there is plenty of opportunity for Kinks My Kinks.

It's been said, but it bears repeating: MiMo is quite possibly the cutest baby in the universe. I wonder how many infants they auditioned before they found Miranda/"Bess" (or, maybe, she should just be called Mess, for the one she's in the middle of).

The spoilers? Suck. No more heartbreak, no more missing mommies and babies, please. Give Kinks back their lovechild, already. I want to see a happy Bianca and a Frankenbrow-free Kendall setting up house, damn it!
