I'm honestly a little torn over which character (I've found it easier to fuse Medmund into one super GetOffMyScreen!Person!) I would rather get rid of. But still, choosing between these two is really like choosing between sitting in horse shit or dog shit, either way you're still going to end up sitting in shit. All three of them should just get married and form some kinky polygamous relationship and run off to another town where they could make porn for people with thick eyebrow and chesthair fetishes.

The part that had me rolling my eyes was when Binks was talking to JR about Babe having an infection that travelled to her heart and JR said, "Thats cuz she's all heart!" Shut.The.Fuck.Up. Just stand there and look handsome. The writers are idiots.

I really don't have much to snark on. Whats wrong with me today? I'm sure there was plenty of material to rip into. Hmm, I think I'm coming down with something.

I actually liked Ryan for about ten seconds today, when he gave the necklace back to Greenlee and told her to give it to Bianca herself, complete with the very lovely, touching speech about Leo (jeez, her words about Leo playing with Mimo in heaven actually made me tear up a little, and I know Mimo's not dead), and managed it without his usual layer of condescension. But then, of course, AMC had to make Greens go into the worst fluffing yet of Ryan, and I started dry-heaving. Good god. WTF was all that about Ryan's mad business skillz and such? When was the last time he did any work? Aaaaaahhhhh! Then, after all Greenlee's niceness, that asshole rudely snits out of the room. I thought I was at least rid of him, but then came Kendall wheeling Bianca out of Babe's room--I was all, "oh goody, more Kinks" and then Frankenbrow shows up. Aaaaaahhhh! At least Kendall broke up the damn hug. You go, Kendall. Don't let Frankenbrow put his mitts on your girlfister.

Kendall was in top form today. I loved her telling Greenlee there was absolutely no way she was getting in to see Bianca. I do look forward to Greenlee and Bianca talking at some point, but given that Greenlee is not Bianca's favorite person, she shouldn't be one of the first visitors (even with the moving speech she's got planned). Give it at least another day showtime. Kendall snarking on both Erica and Erica's letter was hilarious. Uncle Foo Foo, I do love you, and I admire your unswerving love and loyalty where Erica is concerned, but did you reeeeeeaaally expect Kendall to respond sympathetically to "Erica's in a world of hurt" when Kendall's devastated and Bianca's dying inside? And man, Kendall was completely serious when she kicked Erica out of her life on Tuesday. She didn't give an inch. I cracked up when Uncle Foo Foo wandered off on his quest for Erica and Kendall immediately went to look in on Bianca, not sparing even a second to think about Erica. Boy, has Erica ever fallen in Kendall's list of priorities--Bianca displaced Erica as #1 some time ago, but now I don't think Erica's even on the list at all.

The "pecking order" in Bianca's room cracked me up. First Naggie goes and sits on the couch so that Lena can deal with Bianca. Kendall enters and Lena goes and sits next to Naggie on the couch while Kendall takes over. Bwah! Yup, Kinks has an open relationship but Kendall comes first. Snerk.

Goody, the "make Bianca look like she's crazy" and consequent pooh-poohing has definitely begun. It was painful when Bianca didn't remember right away that Mimo was "dead". But then she recognizes Miranda's crying, but everyone thinks she's deluded. Sigh. (And why on earth was Krystal wheeling "Bess" right outside Bianca's hospital room, anyway? Very sensitive of her, not.) And no one bothers to mention to Bianca that there was ever a question of which mother the baby belonged to, because Bianca is clearly the only one in the whole hospital who has enough brain cells operating that she'd then ask for a blood test.

I enjoyed the Babe/Bianca scenes (putting aside my rolled eyes at the fact that obviously if the two of them were just left alone to hash everything out, they'd figure out the truth in about five minutes flat). Babe being so happy she hadn't lost Bianca--hooray for HoYay. It was hella stupid of JR to tell Bianca how sorry he was in front of Babe, giving Bianca every reason to think that Babe was aware of Miranda's "death". Bianca did a good job of keeping her shit reasonably together in front of Babe, whose vision was too blurry to see Bianca tear up. I cracked up at the way Babe phrased her request of Bianca looking after JR and Bess, sounding almost as if she wanted Bianca to marry JR (it was made more amusing to me because of the chemistry Eden and JY do have). Babe's clearly watched too many bad tv movies about dying wives handing over their hubbies and kids to a wife-to-be.

I was thinking today, for a rape baby, AMC's set it up so that Miranda's the most loved child in Pine Valley in quite some time. The Chandlers, Martins, Kanes and Montgomerys all adore her...everyone except Grandma Erica, really. The Chandlers/Martins/Krystal are gonna be so disappointed when they wind up with Ace instead.

ETA: I need to rewatch to be sure, but it seemed like Anita was using a teleporter to get around the hospital. In one scene she was with Tad and Krystal and Miranda, and we didn't see Anita leave, I don't think. Then boom, she's in Babe's hospital room with Bianca and JR.

I'm guessing that was the way to Babe's room: not much Krystal or Anita can do about that.

Wow, Lena and Maggie are certainly getting comfortable: nothing like a tragedy or two to, erm, bring people together.

True, but then Krystal should be actually wheeling the kid along, instead of stopping and lingering outside Bianca's hospital room, especially when Miranda started crying. That said, good on you, Miranda, for crying for your real mommy. Don't let everyone else confuse you into thinking Aunt Babe is really your mother.

Lena and Naggie bored me senseless during their scene together. Just as Alicia and Eden have a halo effect on others, Liz has a toxic effect on others. If I hadn't been watching live, I would've FF'd right through. As it was, I nearly fell asleep about halfway through Lena's sweet, but oh-so-repetitive speech.

Sets being worked on Monday the 5th include (but not limited to): the Vegas casino bar, the music store, and Fusion.

Next week sounds really, really mind-numbingly dull. I think everything will seem dull until Kinks gets MiMo back.

And Danielle is just meh. I sense forced chemistry between her and Reggie and this come from a guy who has chemistry with everybody.

Well considering JR's obvious non-interest in women and only in actors portraying his brother maybe Babe is smarter than we give her credit for.


If TPTB thought fans were disgruntled by the length of the Micheal Cambius murder whodunit (who cares?) then if Binks doesn't get MiMo back soon then I think a lot of people will start to jump ship soon. There's only so much abuse McTrash can pour on Bianca without a major backlash (part of which started at the rape to begin with...).

The obvious thing to do is for Kinks to get Miranda back and for Asa Buchanan II to stay in Llanview for awhile. Let Tad and Adam team up to discover the truth and whup on Paul Cramer (after a lengthy period of time)- thus Frons can continue his 3 Babies! 2 Shows! fantasy indefinitely - especially if Asa II turns out to be Paul's and somehow Kevin and Kelly get to keep him (since they're core characters, albeit on another soap, unlike Babe and Krystle). Then you can have cross-over heaven with the Martins and Chandlers vs. the Cramers and the Buchanans. Asa I vs Adam. That's good TV.

Meanwhile Bianca and Kendall can get Miranda, be happy for 5 minutes before presenting "ERICA KANE" (to quote Kendall) with her granddaughter. I'm sure Erica will be just as happy to see MiMo as she was when Kendall first showed up in Pine Valley - which is to say not at all.

I don't know if these are coincidences or not but there's been some creepily similar dialogue going on in the Baby switching two shows extravaganza! The other day on OLTL Kelly said Babe's son (did he ever have a name) looked like Winston Churchill (like all babies do) and then today Tad said the same about MiMo. Then there's the fact that Babe called her baby "her little peanut" and then on OLTL Kelly called him the same thing. If these are subtle things thrown in for the fans to pick up that's pretty cool. If not then maybe I've got way too much time on my hands.

I haven't seen this posted, but I may have missed it. Crazy, squinty Laura (Laura Allen) is going to be on Cold Case this Sunday. I think she's playing the dead body of the week, so she'll probably only be seen in flashbacks.

I can't stand this story line. Kinks is the only saving grace and it's too painful to even enjoy that right now. Much.

Liz's Lowe's commercial has been airing here. I've seen it like 3 times today. Nickelodeon Spongebob yellow!

Okay, I bow to no one in my hate for the baby switch SL, and for the fluffing of Ryan, and for all that...but man, was Tad sweet with "Bess" today. And he remembered little Kate! Awww. Can't McTrash make up for this awful baby switch SL by giving Tad little Kate back soon? Tad, Jamie and JR are going to need another little girl to obsess over once Mimo goes back to Bianca.

Man I hope not, because if Kate comes back that means Dixie will be hot on her heels and if there is anywhere I want Dixie to be its gone.

Besides CM is doing such awesome work on ATWT. Rosanna is like 100 bazillion million to the third power times more interesting than Dixie ever was. And a Dixie recast? Oh no. Perish the thought. The best thing about Dixie was CM- I couldnt take a recast.

Oh, I wasn't talking about *Dixie* coming back. I'm enjoying Cady way too much as Rosanna on ATWT for that. Just Kate. David could be called upon to treat a little girl with a heart condition that's oddly similar to Dixie's. While he's there treating her (with her wealthy, older parents hovering anxiously around), she says something to him that reminds him of Dixie. He looks at everyone's medical history and finds out that she can't be the bio-kid of her parents because of incompatible blood types. They confess that she's adopted. (Eventually, the story comes out that Dixie was kidnapped by a black market baby-selling ring and her car crash was faked. After delivering the baby, she escaped and was presumed drowned, or something vague like that. Cue custody fight over little Kate...)

Is Liz's superblack'n'Thick eyeliner and heavy shadowcakes bothering anyone else? No? Just me then.

You're not alone. I was very distracted by that during her scenes today.

I feel for JR, Babe and all their loved ones, but I still found myself yelling "Step the fuck away from Mimo!" at the TV today. Except for when Tad was holding her. That was just too cute.

I liked Greenlee's speech today about Leo and Mimo. But then the Ryan-fluffing started. Poor RB, she spends her worktime fluffing the likes of Carlos, then Juan Pablo, and now Ryan. Then, in her personal life, she's fluffing Bob Fucking Guiney. Who'd she piss off?

I loved Kendall with the letter. I rewound that part a couple of times. Jack's irritated looks were very amusing. Seriously, what was he thinking? Kendall doesn't give two shits about wherever the hell Erica is. Jackson Montgomery, so stupid but so sweet.

Greenlee talking about Leo and Tad with Mimo was so touching to me that it was damned near ridiculous.

Watching Tad with the baby today, it dawned on me that if she were alive, Dixie would be a grandmother. I am having such problems wrapping my head around that one. It doesn't help that Cady is just a year older than me.

Yeah, I caught that stuff too. Ace may look like Winston Churchill, but Mimo, not so much. I know Tad was trying to be funny, but please, no one could look at that baby and think Winston Churchill. They really did find the most beautiful baby in history when they cast Mimo. I also think it's amusing that Ace was supposedly premature yet he's humongous compared to MiMo who was nearly full term at delivery.

Oy. That was one shitty piece of dialogue. I wonder who wrote it? Whoever did really ought to be fired. Plus it didn't even make sense. The infection traveled to her heart because she's all heart? WTF? I'm sure when Babe is having heart problems in the future because of the infection, JR will be right there to remind her that she's not really having heart problems because she's all heart, or something else completely idiotic.

As for the fluffing, honestly WhoTF fails to understand that they has to be some interaction between her and the guys. So she's talking with Ryan, other the others. I don't consider that fellatio for the purposes of a upcoming $ex act. I like her act and be herself. Maybe you have fantasies about her doing that but I see characters interacting. Be then again that is because I can write with is more that some of you can say. Yes JR's like was a bit hackish. It was designed to be cute. And yes, Mctavish is not my favorite writer, but she can write. I'm sorry she's a homophobe, but honestly happiness is dull. When I turn in I want to see life in all its glory.
And yes this story has enough plot holes to collaspe into a black hole. So be smart and creative and plug them up. Not biatch and moan and comment about the stupidy of it all. Well all notice this. Continue your writing campaigns, get people changes and restored. But if you can't write don't persue to think you can critique someone who can. It makes look like the person ordering a BIg Mac at a wendys.

Speaking of Greenlee and guys, I really liked Rebecca's delivery of the line that Bobby was growing on her in the previews. Even in that short bit, I could see the chemistry.

Fortunately ABC doesn't really do GH/Port Charles crossovers with AMC, so I doubt that we'd be getting Ian Thornhart coming to town.

However, perhaps Thorsten Kaye might be playing the Jonathan Lavery we've heard about? I guess that wouldn't totally suck. I despised Ian Thornhart, but that was issues with his storyline, not with the actor per se.

I really do want to marry the scene where Kendall's reading the letter from Erica and totally not giving a shit. Her snarky "Who's worried?" killed me, and I laughed at Uncle Foo Foo's various offended/wounded expressions throughout.

I noticed on my rewatch that when Kendall breaks up the Bianca/Frankenbrow hug (when he seemed settled in for the long haul), she also calls Bianca "honey". Sweet in itself, but I also took it as Kendall basically letting Ryan know that Bianca belongs to her. Hee.

Aww, I had this whole cool thing I was going to respond with about how a real writer would never make such an asinine comment and I knew because I actually am a writer ('cos I got a legal contract that says I am, assuming they release my second book sometime this year) with this devastating comeback about how it is the reader/viewer that determines whether one can actually can claim to be a writer as opposed to some self-serving idiot who likes stringing words together for one's own gratification, and then you guys go and defuse the whole thing before I have it posted so now it just sounds kinda stupid.

Hmm, one day I will actually learn how to cut down on the run-on sentences.

By the way, krizmic, I keep forgetting to give you props for the Kinksy screencaps you posted. I especially liked the squeezed-arm one. I think my favorite part of that particular shot on the show is how they end up perfectly aligned, from matching head tilts on down. Eden and Alicia are ridiculously in tune with each other. Just look at that moment from Friday's ep when Kendall goes into Babe's hospital room, Bianca looks up at her, and then Bianca leans back in the wheelchair, the better for Kendall to hug her. What's particularly fun is that, as Kinksy as it is, with Eden's hair wavy these days, they're also looking more like sisters than ever.

Maybe he'll play Hugo, another long lost Thornhart brother. That way they would have a Thornhart on every show. The set would be complete.

Media Domain says he's playing a casino owner, presumably the casino where Erica's lounge act is going to play. I can't believe I just typed that.

Thanks for the props, BK...I'm enjoying this a little too much, I think! My Kinks love is for the (albeit very close) sister relationship. Alicia and Eden are so good together, and so "tuned in" as you said. These two bring out the best in everyone and together they are incredible. I just appreciate their relatiohship as it is. However, I love the Kinksy implications and this board has made AMC infinitely more fun to watch! ICAM about the waves in Eden's hair...and with them straightening Erica's hair a lot more lately, it's putting that distance back between her and Kendall. Am I reading too much into this?

Speaking of Eden's hair, I rewatched a couple of older eps last night and it actually felt weird seeing Eden with straight hair.


It's fine with me that he will always be loyal to Erica and love her--that's the way it should be (despite my Erica hate)--but I did want to smack him for being completely wrapped up in Erica while Kendall was explaining what was going on with Bianca. On the other hand, if I'm right about Uncle Foo Foo keeping Bianca detained in the hospital and browbeating Kendall into going along because that's "what's best for poor crazy Bianca", I'm going to be wishing that he was indeed focusing all his attention on Erica.

I'm fine with Jack loving Erica, but it's as if he refuses to see how much pain Erica has inflicted on Kendall and Bianca...like it's all ok b/c she's that "scared 14 year old" he was talking about to Kendall. It's the making excuses for her, not the loyalty, that I have a problem with.

I'm officially Kinks-ified...I just watched the ep where Bianca remembers killing Michael...when I first watched it, I was all "How cute are Kendall and Bianca? Wow, Kendall loves Bianca a lot and risked everything for her." Now, I have found you all and I watch thinking, "Awww...girlfisters!!" And when Bianca goes to sit on the couch...it really *does* look like she's getting down on one knee...I totally didn't think it the first time!

krizmic, I agree that I'd like to see Uncle Foo Foo show a loyalty to Erica that's more informed and understanding than his current near-blind loyalty, which doesn't help anyone, least of all Erica. That's why I enjoyed his pained expressions when Kendall was snarking on Erica's letter.

I think it's because even though it's not Kinksy the way we're used to, it's still incredibly suggestive in another way because of the very familiar, comfortable, deep intimacy implied between them ("implied" probably something of an understatement). Like, "Yeah, right now sex isn't on their minds, but they've obviously done it. Many times."

(As for Alicia and Eden, we need to figure out how to get hold of that Halloween pic of the two of them. D'ya think Alicia would post it on her website if asked? Hee.)

Is that the sound of one hand clapping? I'm till trying to figure out what the heck that "sentence" is supposed to mean.

Bwa! While I can imagine Alicia would probably be happy to share it, I have a feeling Eden would strongly object. They were already saying how careful she tries to be about what sort of pictures people get of her so that the weirder ones don't end up all over the internet. Somehow, I can't imagine she'd be happy with Alicia for putting that out there, which is a shame. It sounds hilarious.

This week has been crazy, show-wise. And, in a somewhat tragic turn of events, I was cheated out of Monday's heart-shattering episode (apparently our affiliate decided that coverage of President Bush visiting a few towns over was more important than AMC, the bastards), but a lovely friend with Soap Net is going to be sending me a tape of it ASAP, so I'm not too upset anymore, just somewhat impatient.

There's really not much I can comment on that hasn't been covered. The Kinks are still amazing as ever, and Lena yanking Maggie out of the room by her arm was a definite highlight, and I should probably be ashamed at how many times we hit replay for her "IT'S IN BIANCA'S BOOK!" line.. gah, the funny. Especially if you watch Olga's eyes after she delivers that line -- they twitch back and forth wildly at a speed I wasn't aware was even possible.

Still loving the Greenlee/Bobby interactions. And did anyone else crack up at the possible Kenlee implications of one of their exchanges? When Greenlee asked him, "When do you know it's enough?" and he told her, "When she takes you in her arms and says it's okay." Loved Greenlee's thoughtful little "hmm" as she pondered that for a second, before raising and eyebrow and asking, "What woman did you mess up?" Hee.

And right up there with the Greenlee/Bobby interactions, I am love, love, loving the Greenlee/Reggie bonding. Danielle grates a bit, but if she's necessary to keep bringing those two together, I'll take her. And it really is fun to see her get to Greenlee. She very nearly got Bitchy Greens to make a comeback when she made the crack about her being 30, but Greenlee smartly calmed herself down and returned her attention to Reggie before blowing up at her. It'll be fun to see how long it takes for her to really send Greenlee over the edge -- I'm sure it won't be too long, especially if she keeps making trouble for Reggie.

And, speaking of the Greenlee/Danielle situation, does anyone else think it's a very bad idea for Greenlee to be stashing a runaway minor in her home? (She is a minor, right?) That's just asking for trouble, man.
