Yes, that eloquently explains what I think went through Bianca's mind when she decided not to have the abortion. And, I have actually struggled with how to explain my thoughts on Bianca's screaming the word 'abortion' yesterday (which completely ripped my heart out - I'd like a spot on that train, please), and while this quote starts to explain my thoughts, I have a few more.

Bianca is so young, and so filled with love. Yes, of COURSE she thought of abortion at first, and no one would ever fault her for going through with it. I don't think she, or anyone near her, or anyone even affiliated with the show would try to convey that her having an abortion would have been the "wrong" choice for her. I'm very sensitive about this subject, and I haven't seen any instances where the show has put out the opinion that abortion is "wrong". I just think that in the instance of Bianca, it became the "right" decision for her to KEEP her baby.

And, it's Bianca. However she came to her decision, she came to it, she committed to it, and she committed to her baby, 100%. She's just not one to commit to things half-way. It's what has gotten her heart broken so many times in the past. She loves with her whole heart. As soon as she came to that decision in David's office, her baby stopped being a "decision" to be made, and became a real person to her. As real as a baby that has already been brought into the world. I think at the exact moment she came to her decision, her entire world just kind of shifted.

So, of course she's not going to be able to deal with Erica's view of the situation. She just can't. She expects her mother to support her whole-heartedly. It's what she has always craved - from her father, from Erica, from Myrtle, from everyone. She has always wanted to do the "right" thing, and make the choices that everyone dear to her will accept, and that they all will assure her that she is making the right choice.

Damn, I could go on for about 5 more paragraphs, but here's the gist. Bianca fretted, and came to a horribly difficult decision. Her sister, her doctor, and her best friend completely agreed with her, and assured her that she was wonderful in making that decision. In the end, her mother, the person she most wants to please, completely rejected that decision. She just isn't going to get over that any time soon, regardless of what "really" happened to her baby. And I think that her reaction is true, and right, and just painfull to see. Good job.

Oh, hell, I still have thoughts about Kryan and Reggie, but I'll hold off. For now.

They made this stance back when Bianca was first pregnant. Even Kendall herself said flat-out that Bianca should do what she had to do and Kendall was not going to take it personally or hold it against her. Kendall just wanted her little sister to take whatever action Bianca felt was right for herself.


There is one fact about Erica's pregnancy with Kendall that people tend to forget (or may not know): that Erica was in such total denial about what had happened to her that by the time Mona discovered the pregnancy, Erica was way too far along to have an abortion anyway. She had to have been five or six months along at least, which is too late. I mean, the Kanes were rich. Abortion was illegal in the States but Mona could have had Erica flown to Japan or the Phillippines or wherever they could have gotten one legally had she known in time.

Hee! Over at the Soap Opera Network forum, one of the posters has an icon that's a screencap of Kendall spooning with Bianca, with text saying "This isn't what it looks like! / Kinks is love."

When I was rewinding my tape of Monday's episode to watch it, I happened to hit play right in the middle of that awful scene where Bianca is sobbing her heart out, and Kendall's up on the bed, hugging her, and I thought "My god, the show isn't even pretending they aren't a couple!" Which is just wrong, y'all. It was just an innocent hug for a grieving sibling...

...oh come on, they were SPOONING. I've shared beds with my sisters plenty of times, but we never did that. When you watch the scenes in chronological order, it's a lot more natural, but it was still a little jarring, because here's this emotionally wracking scene with Eden Riegal and Alicia Minshew acting their hearts out, and I was just stuck on "They're spooning!"

Lena sees BAM makeout and uses the family emergency as an excuse to run away in pain ...!!!

Reading those spoilers from the chat that was posted over on SS, the one thing I could think, and this isn't a spoilery thought, was who the hell cares about Maria and Edmund? I mean for real? Do I need to get out more? Not that I'd want to, because this sled is so damn cozy, but honestly. Are there people out there who fret about Medmund? Who enjoy the porn? I can't fathom it.

I have no desire to stay up and watch. That just feels so wrong, especially after the past week. I blame the Kryan, really.

Does anyone have, or know where I can get, the 9/22/03 ep of AMC? It's the one where Bianca goes to the clinic and sees Kendall. I never saw it and you all have been talking about it so much...if anyone has any info, I'd appreciate it.

The Maidmund movie thing was the Worst. Acting. Ever. WTF was wrong with Edmund? Was his jaw paralyzed along with the rest of him? Move your mouth when you speak! I don't know why people weren't throwing popcorn at those two chowderheads and yelling at them to STF up already.

I was never so glad for my FF button as I was during Reggie and homeless deviant's scenes yesterday.

Well, those scenes and the Medmund crapfest.

After seeing that heinous scene with that shitty "Shakin'" song, which hasn't improved with age since it was used on The O.C., I've come to one conclusion: "Regelle" is no Roni.

I watched the Kendall/Ryan scenes but I kept thinking about the last time AMC did scenes like that, when Aidan was taking care of Kendall after she found out about Bianca's rape. Don't rewrap Kaidan scenes, and call them Kryan assholes.

I made the mistake of watching the Reggie/Danielle dancing scenes. What. The Fuck. Was That? Suddenly it was 1984 again, and nobody told me.

Aidan and Anita aren't working for me at all. They have no chemistry. I can already tell they're going to be a really boring couple, if TPTB go that way.

WORD. That twinkie couldn't fill Joni's shoes with an extra pair of feet.

Alicia did a wonderful job in her scenes yesterday. I liked how she had virtually no dialogue and just looked incredibly numb and shell-shocked throughout. Quite similar to how Kendall was after Greenlee exposed her in court; for an hour she couldn't talk to anyone except Bianca and her lawyer. That's another reason why the nurse booting Kendall out of Bianca's room annoyed me so. It was nearly as bad for Kendall as it was for Bianca. When Kendall's in this state, she only seems to feel at all human when she's with Bianca. I thought her look when she was telling Ryan in the previews for today that she didn't want him to leave was quite interesting--she sounded both pissed-off and detached, if that's even possible. It certainly wasn't some sort of loving, vulnerable declaration.

Cam Math sucks. What Ryan did was sweet, I suppose, but there was just this layer of condescension throughout that bugs me. It goes along with his general caveman attitude. Even when he's being nice, he bugs me.

As for other things, I tried to watch the Maria/Edmund scenes, but they just bored me, so I gave up and started FFing. (Though they did look good in the B&W scenes.) I also liked that they showed that Aidan is aware of his pattern of continually falling for women who are in love with other men, because that's been bugging me in his interaction with Anita. Self-awareness is always something I appreciate seeing.

Word. That's always bugged me about CM/Ryan, too.

Did AMC have it be for the right reason, or the wrong one? The right reason, which is what would happen in real life, is that Alex had it laid out in his codicil how the order of inheritance should go should Michael's child die before reaching maturity. The wrong reason would be a simple "Mikey's child is dead" excuse in the absence of any specific instructions in Alex's will. Without specific instructions from Alex, Bianca would inherit outright as Miranda's next of kin, since Miranda lived.

Even though the former scenario is what would actually happen in real life, I think AMC should've just left it as the latter, because really, what's the point of giving Ryan the estate, and annoying us all with the specter of Frankenbrow lording it over everyone some more, when Bianca's just going to get it back later? I'm tired of the ping-ponging where the estate is concerned. At least Kendall already has Enchantment and doesn't have to go asking Frankenbrow for it.

Danielle is starting to get on my nerves. Smie-leen-guh. Grrr.

JR actually made me laugh with a line delivery to Paul. "Why does everything you say make me want to punch you?"

And I couldn't help noticing the huuuge difference in head sizes between Jacob and David Tom. Either Jacob has a teeny pinhead (which I've often joked about) or David Tom's got such a gargantuan melon that he makes Jacob's cranium look even smaller. At any rate, it was the equivalent of looking at a kids' party balloon parked next to the Good Year blimp.

Today's ep was better than yesterday's but it bugged the hell outta me. What the hell does Greenlee have to apologize to Mia and Simone for? She screwed Kendall over, yes, but as I recall Mia was on board with revealing Kendall's faux baby. Watching Greens grovel to that twit made my soul shrivel up and die. Mia was a uber bitch today.

Simone wasn't near as bad but the revisionist view of the Fusion days grates me. Greens treated Mia and Simone like crap more often than not. They were the junior leaguers and treated as such. Mia deserved it but Simone? Not so much. She consistently actually worked. I know it's an odd thing for me to get pissy about but I hate pretending that Fusion was all girl power/Friends! Forever! when it so wasn't. There were a few moments of genuine friendship, I know. More often than not though, it was a bunch of bitchy women forced to play along with Greens as the figure head constantly threatening to fire one of the other women. Am I remembering this completely wrong?

I hope you are right but I'm afraid that TPTB will do something wonky, just so Ryan has to get into everything. Seriously, I can so see them working it so Ryan has to delegate Fusion between Greens and Kendall, even though Bianca had already given Fusion to Kendall. If they can fudge Fusion, they can do it with Enchantment too. Grrr... Speaking of my soul dying, seeing Kendall being insanely grateful to Ryan for doing something that anyone with a tiny shred of decency would do.......ugh.

To not be a complete pisser, I loved David snarking on the Chandlers and Tad. I also enjoyed the little bit of Kinksy dialogue we got today.

That was exactly what I was wondering. Wasn't Fusion pretty much done with even before Greenlee pulled her stunt in the courtroom?



Ryan also got to play hero by saving the wimmin folk from the cold heartless lawyer. Ain't he grand?

Well, Ryan's the one who thought it was completely appropriate and sensitive to play Harass the Rape Victim for weeks, getting in Bianca's face and screaming at her about whether she was or wasn't pregnant. I'm gonna fanwank Kendall's gratitude as her remembering that awful behavior and being grateful there isn't a comparable repeat. Because otherwise, I'll throw up my lunch for sure.

He's done some shady scheming and manipulating centering around his trying to get his mitts on Aunt Betsy's 30 million dollars, but it was standard soap scheming, really, and completely typical for the Cramer family in particular. Certainly nothing on this level.

But he also hadn't been on OLTL very long before this SL started, so to some extent he was a mystery anyway in terms of what he's capable of. OLTL viewers knew he was a greedy little rat, but again, almost all the Cramers are money-hungry.

Is Mia supposed to come off so thoroughly unlikable? Or does she just seem so hypocritical and self-serving in comparison to Simone? Simone is not exactly the sharpest crayon in the box, what with trying to convince Kendall to kiss up with Greenlee two days after the court diaster went down, but you can't fault her loyalty to a friend--or her basic good nature. Mia, on the other hand...bleah. Shut up, Mia. Go away, Mia.

Is there some hope that Greenlee might actually get a story outside of the festering sore of the Kendall/Ryan/Greenlee triangle? More Filial!Greenlee, please! Sister, daughter, cousin, whatever, just...no more of this pining after Ryan, m'kay? Because that makes me like her less, and my soft heart cannot take that.

Part 1


Krystal goes to take the baby to see Babe and Adam tries to stop her and Tad tells him that she is going to take theLena baby to her mother.

Babe says Paul don't take my baby.

Bianca remembers Miranda when she hears a baby. Lena wakes up from her chair and Maggie wakes up from the couch. Bianca asks for her baby.

Greenlee, Kendall, and Ryan talking outside Bianca's room.

Bianca hears the baby coming by and thinks it is her's.

Jackson goes to Erica and reads the note from her.

Bianca keeps asking for her baby. Lena tells her it isn't her baby. Tells her she is here for her.

Krystal and Anita are taking the baby to Babe's room and stop right in front of Greenlee, Ryan and Kendall and they look at the baby.

Lena tells her that baby is not Miranda. Bianca says it's her. Lena asks if she remembers how she got there. Bianca starts recalling what happens and gets upset and Lena gives her a hug.

Kendall watches from outside. Greenlee says she's sorry and wants to tell Bianca that and Kendall tells her she can't see Bianca.

Kendall comes into Bianca's room and Bianca tells her she was sure that baby she heard was Miranda. Kendall tells her she is sorry. Bianca says she still feels her. Kendall tells her it was Babe's baby. Bianca then asks if Babe is ok.

JR tells Babe he threw Paul out and he isn't coming back. Babe then says Paul don't put her baby in an incubator. Then she has a memory of her boy when Paul took him away from her. JR keeps telling her Paul is not here. Says don't take him. JR doesn't say anything at all about her saying him. They bring the baby in the room.

Adam tells Tad not to interfere with the Baby.

JR takes the baby to Babe and she is confused. JR asks what's wrong. Babe says she can't see her baby everything is blurry.

Adam talks about his family and how Tad is a bad influence. Tad then tells Adam he's just trying to kick Babe to the curb and keep the baby.

Krystal asks Anita what is wrong. Anita tells her that her fever is making her delirious. JR then goes on talking about some fantasy world of their little family.

Kendall then tells Bianca about Babe's infection. Bianca wants to see Babe.

Greenlee tells Ryan that Kendall is right to not give her permission to see Bianca. Tells Ryan when he sees Bianca to give her this necklace she got from Leo. To remind Bianca that Leo is watching over the little one and she's safe.

I'm hoping Mia's on the way out. AMC's made no attempt to pair her up with anyone since Aidan dumped her ass, and all the available men already have one or more other potential or actual leading ladies. Go away, Mia, and take Frankenbrow with you. I thought you two were a perfect love story! Really!

Some spoilers: Bianca ignored advice from Kendall and Ryan and went to the hospital nursery to hold Babe's infant, but broke down before she got there.
Bianca later left a message for Paul Cramer after learning he piloted the helicopter that crashed, "killing" Miranda.
Later, Greenlee reluctantly took Bianca to the crash site, where Bianca thought she heard her child crying.
Meanwhile, as Babe changed her daughter's diaper, she had a hazy recollection of Paul saying she'd given birth to a son.
David accepted Krystal's bid for dinner.
WAIT TO SEE: David tells Greenlee not to trust Kendall.
Bianca loses touch with reality.

This irritates me. Bianca's not losing touch with reality because Miranda isn't dead. I can already see where this is going--she's going to be hindered in her investigation by good ol' Jack, who'll insist on the hospital keeping her so long as she sticks to her "delusions", and Jack and Ryan will talk Kendall into going along because it's what's best for Bianca. I knew Kendall jumping to conclusions on Tuesday about Bianca thinking Miranda was still alive, after Bianca had just said about thirty times to Erica that Miranda was dead/gone, was a bad sign. Did JERk start moonlighting on this show when I wasn't looking?

I'm thinking that Greenlee may become Bianca's sole ally in this mess, since she takes Bianca to the crash site, and the writers want to redeem Greenlee and integrate her into the Kane-Montgomery family instead of having her be such a complete outcast. Which is fine, but not at the expense of Kinks, dammit! If Kendall doesn't tell Jack and Ryan very early on to shut the fuck up, and break her girlfister out of the hospital, I'm going to scream.

I'm liking Krystal these days for the most part, but still, keep her away from David. Though I don't want her with Tad, either. Still a Timone shipper and not giving up hope, here.

Part 2

Krystal then brings the baby back to the nursery. Adam talks to the baby. Tad then talks to the baby and Krystal tells him to suite up to hold the baby.

Kendall takes Bianca to see Babe. JR asks Bianca how she is. Anita tells Bianca Babe's condition. JR says some cheesy line and then tells her he's sorry about what happened. Bianca talks to Babe. Babe asks if she is ok and then about her baby. Bianca then looks at JR.

Ryan tells Greenlee she should give her the necklace when the time is right. Ryan doesn't want Cambias Industries after the call his cell again. Greenlee tells him he should keep it, but Ryan doesn't want it. Then Greenlee says he could do some good with it in honor of Miranda because something good should come from all of this bad.

Jackson asks Kendall about Erica. Gives Kendall the note to read from Erica.

Maggie comes out of the room then goes back into the room where Lena is sort of tidying up. Maggie tells Lena that Bianca is lucky to have her. Maggie hates this cause she doesn't want to break down in front of Bianca. Maggie wants to be strong like Lena is with Bianca. Lena tells her she cried to sleep, but anytime she cries she does it in private. Maggie and Lena hug.

Tad holding the baby and talking to the baby and Krystal.

Babe keeps asking about Miranda. Bianca tells her everything is k and she shouldn't worry about that she should concentrate on getting better. Babe tells her to promise her if she doesn't make it that she will take care of her baby like it is her own.

Tad has to burp the baby. Anita and Krystal talk about that.

Bianca tells her she isn't going to die. Bianca says she has her word if they need her to for anything she'll be there. Anita leaves the room.

Kendall tells Jackson not to take the bait. Jackson tells her he is not going to turn his back on Erica. Kendall then comes into Babe's room and hugs Binks.

Greenlee tells Ryan to think about what she said. She also tells him she hopes she didn't mess things up wtih Kendall again. Says if he has to choose between the two of them he's cool if he chooses Kendall. Ryan then leaves. Bobby then comes in and says he must have a thing for her.

Binks runs into Ryan.

JR tells Babe she isn't going to die cause they need her.

Tad talks to the baby and Anita comes in and says she needs to take her back.

Ryand hugs Binks and she begins to cry. She wants to go see Babe's baby.

Tad tells Jackson to let Erica go.

Bobby says he hasn't met a woman he didn't like. Greenlee says you are begining to grow on me.

Bianca gets real quiet when she sees Babe's baby. Kendall asks what is it. Bianca says My Baby.

WORD, kariyaki. That boy has got one HUGE noggin. It makes me want to channel Mike Myers in So I Married An Axe Murder..."Heed! Pants! Now!"

Grrr. I'm sure you're right BK, Bianca will insist that Bess is Miranda and she'll be locked up because no one believes her, blah blah blah. But Kendall of all people, I think would believe her. If they have Kendall not believing Bianca and thinking Bianca is crazy, that's bullshit. When are Jack, Kendall, or someone going to start harassing Paul about the accident? Shouldn't someone, other than the Chandlers, be more upset with Paul?

Those bastards! Binks just can't catch a friggin' break! I hope Kendall comes around to believing Binks relatively quickly. I'll forgive her for letting her worry about Bianca temporarily sway her into letting Bianca be hospitalized. Kendall does suffer from a lot of self doubt, I could see her being influenced by Jack's (or, Pervy forbid, Ryan's) opinions, seeing as how she doesn't see them as fuck-ups like she sees herself. Just please let her remember her first impression of seeing Mimo and let the seed of doubt grow.

I also don't mind if they use Binky to 'redeem' Greens. They use the Bianca halo effect for everyone else, might as well use it on a character I already like. Plus, Eden and Rebecca sharing scenes? It's a good thing. Lots of pretty and it'll be nice seeing Rebecca act with someone she actually has chemistry with. When's the last time that happened? But you're damn right that Ginks better not be sucking too much screen time from Kinks. I love me some Rebecca and want her to get a good acting partner but Eden's dance card is pretty full. Maybe Greens/Bobby will work out.

It isn't necessarily a question of screentime that I object to--what I object to is the possibility that Greenlee will help Bianca while Kendall's getting browbeaten by Jack and Ryan into "helping" by keeping Bianca locked up in the hospital. There's no reason that Greenlee and Kendall can't both be involved in helping Bianca--and it'd mean AMC could get some Kenlee time in, another plus. I'm down with Greenlee helping Bianca. I just don't want Greenlee fluffed at Kendall's expense.


Isn't it bizarre that the only one on the Kane-Montgomery side of the fiasco who's brought up talking to the pilot is Bianca (admittedly in a different context, before she found out about the accident)? Kendall, I know you're devastated, but go freak out all over Paul's ass soon, 'kay?

Is there a petition or something to get this idea in motion? 'Cause I'm beyond down with that. Hells yeah!

I don't know how they are going to keep this Finding Mimo crap drawn out for very long. Babe's baby in Llandview (sp?) I can see, but not Mimo. There's just so many red flags in play. Babe, though drugged, remembers quite a lot. Bianca will eventually see Bess. Yeah, I know no one will believe her but still. (stubborn) Paul has acted guilty around both Tad and Adam. That twice damned helicopter has to be investigated for its mechanical failure, right? Man, I hope Tad remembers he was suspicious. Krystal even said Paul's a rat.

Alright, I'm whining but I'm still cranky that Lord Ryan is gonna be a billionaire. I realize that Bianca doesn't really give a shit about the money but Ryan with power will be soooo insufferable! More so than now! I can't take it!

The sad thing is, is that I don't think that's going to happen, which utterly ridiculous. Paul is afraid of Adam? Kendall should have Paul praying for death. Kendall doesn't seem like the type of person not to blame Paul for Miranda's death just because it was an "accident". I know she's just thinking of Bianca right now, and the writers have only had Adam and JR up in Paul's face to justify the Bess/Miranda switch, but they can't do that for much longer. It wouldn't make any sense for Kendall or Jack not to be more curious about the crash itself. Paul claimed the engine failed, but a crash investigator would only have to take one look at the helicopter's engine and know that was lie.

All it would take to clear this mess up is a simple blood test, but for some reason everyone is just taking Paul's word for which mother the baby belonged to. Why? I would like to see Bianca go along with everyone's insistence that Bess is Miranda, yet secretly she gets tissue samples for Babe and Bess and sends them away to some secret lab and proves that Bess is Miranda.

ETA: Mystic0 beat me to the whole mechinical failure thing. It's so obvious, yet I'm sure it will be ignored for the sake of this SL.

Ooh, sneaky Binks! I'm sure it would never happen but I'm diggin' on that.

I can't believe anyone is just taking that bastard's word for which kid is which, either. I realize it's damn awkward to go up to JR while his wife is maybe dying and say we need to get a DNA test just to be sure but someone must have the official capacity to do just that. If no one else, at least the Cambias lawyers should have demanded it. Dammit.

Word. Kendall lashes out; she doesn't worry about whether it's "fair" or not. Even if she were to accept that it was an accident, I can't imagine that she wouldn't be climbing all over the backs of whoever was in charge of helicopter maintenance and so forth, demanding to know why the helicopter malfunctioned and whose fault it was. The whole Kane-Montgomery family should be exerting heavy pressure on the investigators. Now Jack's kinda useless and ineffective, though I do love him--I'm actually starting to refer to him as Uncle Foo Foo in my mind (anyone who reads the L&O SVU thread will understand)--but Kendall? She should be screaming for someone's, anyone's blood. I'll allow a certain amount of time (not much) for her to emerge from her devastated shock, but after that...


Considering how the Chandlers were screaming at Paul at the accident site, you'd think Kendall at least would wonder why they were so very down on him. (Most of the screaming she heard was before she was told that the baby was Bess, so she wasn't in shock at that time.) Plus, shouldn't Tad or Krystal be passing along the "Paul is shady" info?

I can see Bianca taking more time to figure out that "Bess" is hers than that Miranda is alive, depending on what she's told. She wasn't at the scene and she doesn't know about how there was originally a question of which baby is which. For all she knows, Miranda and Bess were in clearly-labeled incubators. She doesn't know (yet) that the pilot is shady. And so on. I would hope Kendall or Greenlee or someone would fill her in on some of the details, and since Greenlee's taking Bianca to the scene, maybe she's the one who will tell Bianca all those details. I figure Babe will probably sink into her coma before she can pass on the information to anyone that she had a boy and so on, and when she emerges from the coma, she'll probably have more extreme short-term memory loss than now.


Whine away. I'm right there with ya. The thing that gets me is, they don't even need to be suspicious of Paul to want to do a DNA test. Wouldn't anyone want to verify this under these circumstances? There was no identification on the babies, and Miranda was still in her incubator, so it's not like Paul had gotten her out and checked her over to identify which baby she was. Wouldn't it only make sense that it should be a bit of a requirement here to determine which baby that actually was instead of taking the word of a confused, harassed medivac pilot who had just "crashed" his helicopter? That little oversight has had me screaming at my TV from day one.

Two things struck me about yesterday's Kryan scenes. First, Alicia looked even more like Susan Lucci than usual with the wet, straighter hair. Second, no matter how attentive McGrabbybrow was acting, all Kendall wanted to do was stare at the picture of her girlfister. Nice.

And Anita was totally channeling Charlotte York in her gym scenes yesterday. I totally agree that she and Aidan have no chemistry -- a change in sexual orientation would be great for her.

As for today, Mia's "how dumb do you think we are?" line was totally a shout-out.
