You know, we're all laughing at the fact that Babe is quickly becoming Bianca's best friend..even though Bianca hasn't said those exact words but maybe the joke is on us BAM bashers. Think about it...they are pimping Babe to be a really good friend so that she can take the Nagster's place as BFF and then the annoying gnome will be 'elevated' to Bianca's girlfriend. Maggie will no longer be Binks' best friend...she'll be available only as girlfriend. Oh the horror! The horror! I think my brain is vomiting.

Thankfully Olga will have wrapped up filming on AMC and I won't have to watch anymore. I can almost taste my freedom.

I must have been very tired because i even teared up at Erica's plea to Mona.

The little montage with Binks singing was a tear-jerker all the way.

Seeing Binks with her baby today will make it much harder to watch her learn the news about losing Mimo.

Gryan was tolerable today. But Mesmund /Banita were the only ones i didn't care about.

Bobby mentioned Vegas today. Could it be tied up to the Erica does a show in Vegas?

I would imagine that it will be linked somehow, although I don't know for sure. The thing that slays me is that only in the world of soap operas would the head of a cosmetics empire consider the logical next step be a glitzy Vegas show. I mean can you imagine that happening in real life?

You're so sweet! I was just wishing Mona's picture would come alive and bitchslap Erica's sorry ass. I have no pity for that shrew. Thankfully, neither does Kendall. She gave Erica a preemptive verbal bitchslap and even went the extra mile and glared at Erica's back the whole time Erica was at Chandler's. Kendall? Baby, I adore you! "I want Bianca! This entire ep was geared to make me wail. Reggie, oh dear sweet Reggie... When he hugged Kendall? (sniffle) I loved when he told Opal that God needs to shove it, for letting bad shit keep happening to Binks. He's, like, the best brother ever. David Canary rocked today. Love that man! Mmm.......Aidan and David, side by side, pretty manflesh, that. Gryan wasn't so bad today. Sorry, that's all the compliment I can muster for them.

Alexa did a great job today! Babe is dumber than a stump, but she can be damn amusing, sometimes. She was mad sweet today, too.

I'm not getting into the Binks stuff. Nope, screw that. Painful, just ouch, man. Eden was typically brilliant but I wish she wasn't, so I wouldn't care so much what happens to poor Bianca. Do they have to keep hammering home just how much Binks loves Mimo??? Dude, Mimo's 'death' is gonna kill Bianca. And me, dammit! (wails)

How crappy can a show be when all I like is Babe?

For some reason, "Banita" cracked me up. Perhaps due to being at work on less than four hours of sleep, I'm not sure, but hee.

I know I rant about it in just about every post, but the day-behind thing is killing me. Slowly and painfully. I read all of your comments about what's going on and get all jealous, and then by the time I do get to see the episodes, I can't really contribute to the commentary since you lovely folks already have everything covered (and then some), and are already well on your way into tackling the next. It's just not fair, man.

Not sure on the times for either of them, so you'd have to check, but I just thought I'd put that out there.

Monday's Episode

Promo for the stories about the two babies.

Ryan and Greenlee come in and show up to talk. Ryan tells them what he has to say is about BAbe and Bianca.

Bianca tlaking to the baby and wonders where Babe is.

Babe talking on the phone to Paul. And he thinks she is trying to pull one on him Tells her it's too soon for her to be in labor and tells him to call her husband and she apologizes to him and tells him to call 911. She tells them there location. Dr. Joe tells him to get off the phone. Babe freaks.

Ryan tells them about finding Babe's car in the bank. Tells them they weren't in the car and it was empty. Shows them Babe's bag to prove it. JR and Krystal freaks. Jamie concerned look on his face. Then Kendall and Jackson asks are you sure Bianca was with Babe. Then Greenlee pulls out Bianca's purse. Erica and Kendal recognize it. Maggie runs of and Greenlee tells Erica she is sorry and hands it to her. Jamie goes after Maggie. Maggie is nearly crying and upset and says this can't be happening and Jamie has an idea and the two of them go and Tad tries to stop them. Bianca then wraps the coat around the bag. Opal doesn't understand. Then Kendall goes off and tells everyone what Erica said to Bianca to cause her to leave during the storm.

Bianca talking about how it's cold and worries about Babe. tries to go put more wood in the fire, but she feels weak and passes out as her vision blurs.

Kendall goes off and Jackson tries to tell her to stop. Kendall tells her that she told her that Bianca has ruined their lives because of giving the birth of her rapist baby and says she killed Bianca. David then tells her to stop then Kendall breaks into tears in David's arm. JR says Bianca will be back and that they probably got out of the car. JR asks Ryan to take him to the car. Krystal then goes and give Erica a hug.

Babe is in labor and lays down on David's couch.

Paul at the hospital wanting the copter saying he's heading to llanview for an emergency. Then Jamie tells Paul he has to take them to find Babe and Bianca.

Babe decides to use the phone again to get JR. Circuits are busy. Babe decides to call the house. It rings and Krystal picks up, but Babe gets excited and rips the phoneline from the wall on accident. Krystal says lost the line.

Jamie keeps going on about it and tells her what happened. They start yelling and DR. Joe comes in. He tells them what happened. Paul says he has to leave to llanview. Jamie yells at his grandpa.

Tad and them all decide to search along Route 32. Mia and Liza join in the search. They tell Erica to stay at the house with Krystal. Adam is going to cordinate efforts at the Mansion. Adam thanks Tad for his help. David takes Kendall. Opal reassures Erica. Greenlee asks to go with Jackson and they go. Reggie then asks why she couldn't have let Bianca just be. Then Erica says you go find her Reggie and bring her home.

Ryan takes JR to the car. JR goes into the car looks around and takes out the fuzzy pink dice. He starts crying.

Babe gets up and decides to head back to Bianca.

Tad then meets up with JR. JR then goes on to talk about when he got Babe the car and still crying. Talks about when she is happy and how she was crazy about the fuzzy dice and then he throws them.

Adam is getting angry with no help. He's talking to Mary. He said he wanted Babe gone but not this way. Calls the govenror again

Krystal then goes through her bag and pulls out the plush cows and talks about how she doesn't get the cow thing. Continues talking about things about Babe. Talks about strawberry milk. Erica listens in. Krystal stars to cry and Erica puts her hand on hers.

Babe comes back and sees the baby and her asleep. Babe can't get Bianca to wake up. Babe freaks and is too dependant on Paul. Babe goes to put wood in the fires and falls down in pain. Babe wakes up.

Jackson and Greenlee ins the car. Greenlee tells him what happened after she left the courthouse.

David and Kendall come in and David thinks the cabin has a lot of damage. Kendall doesn't understand why they are at his cabin. David wants to get some gear and lcothes for Kendal to wear. Says they are going to search at the falls. Kendall complains about the falls and Greenlee and Ryan. David tells her to stop thinking about them. Kendall then thinks about Babe and Bianca being trapped in the car. David consoles her and tells them they are going to find them . Kendall hears the helicopter. David realizes someone was in here when he sees the phone cord.

Babe is in labor and Paul yells and comes in. Paul delivers the baby and tTELLS her it's her BOY.

JR yells for Babe. Then JR tells Tad he thinks it is like his mom. Tad tells him no. JR keeps saying she's not going to die like mom did.

Babe then asks if the baby is ok.

Krystal keeps talking. Erica then looks at Bianca's wallet and sees the picture of her and Bianca.

Both babies are crying. Pauls hands the baby BOY over to babe.

David calls Krystal from the cabin and tells them they are on track.

Pauls says Bianca has lost a lot of blood. Talks about encubators to transport the babies and Babe thanks paul. Paul then goes out of the cabin then thinks about what his sister said to him he calls Kelly and tells her he has a baby for her.

Babe kisses her baby and Bianca is passed out.

I prefer calling them: La Isla Bonita.

BWAH! I love that Erica is officially somebody's MawMaw now. Hee!

Who wanted to know how many times would Babe stroke Bink's head? I counted at least a dozen times. It was like she couldn't keep her hands out of Binky's hairs.

And Babe had a couple of good lines too...
talking about Miranda..."she's gorgeous...well in a covered-in-goop kind of way..."

After Binks breastfed Mimo( which i'm mad at tptb for not showing that important moment to us) Babe said "She's her own teeny-weeny lactating specialist".

Edited to add: We know Lena is in Chigago, but where are Simone, Palmer and Brooke? They should have been there today.

I've only seen the screen captures you guys have posted, but damn if lil' MiMo isn't one of the cutest babies ever. Sort of reminds me of ATWT's Cabot. (Sniff!) Knowing what's in store (those craptastic spoilers, Singing!Bianca, etc...), it will be muy difficult to rewind tape this weekend.

I'm warning y'all, I'm an extremely crabby Black Knight today. I know where all of this is going, and I hate it with the fiery intensity of a thousand suns, and it made me really edgy watching today's AMC. "Shut up"s were the order of the day for many scenes.

Maurmund--Shut up. You're getting in the way of the important stuff.

Bobby--You're cute, but as soon as you brought up having a baby, you lost me. Shut up. I do not want to hear about any more women getting pregnant on AMC for, oh, several years at least.

Anita--you rock for telling Bobby it's a horrible idea to have a baby to save a marriage. Now please go find Kelly Buchanan and explain it to her.

Naggie--shut up, and let the adults handle the situation. Interrupting Tad with the idea of search parties and APBs? Thank God for Naggie, no one would ever have thought of that otherwise.

Erica--shut the fuck up. You're the worst crier ever, and your concern for your daughter is far too late. When Erica showed up and said, "I'm cold. I'm cold," I know how she meant it, but I still said, WORD.

Gryan--this is not for today's episode, this is in advance of Monday's episode. Shut the fuck up, you Black Leather-Clad Pair of Doom. I hate you for showing up together and being all set to break Kendall's heart. And the thought of Cam Math breaking the news to a roomful of people generally played by much better actors makes me want to stab my eyes out with a fork.

What was up with the emergency workers' attitudes? Babe and Bianca are presumed dead immediately? The hospital receptionist tells Babe to call 911? What, did the storm tire them out and now they don't want to do any more work than they have to? And Gryan is really smart to not envision some sort of ridiculous fairy-tale scenario in which Babe and Bianca left the car and took shelter somewhere before the river flooded...oh wait, that's what actually happened.

Ah. I feel better. I'll post more comments in a little bit (cheerier ones).

Oh thank you! I thought I was the only one who couldn't stand the noise. Sorry folks but she sounds like a 12 yr. old. A pretty voice for a 12 yr. old though. I was watching it with coworkers and they started making fun of me for watching AMC. They were making fun of Binks' voice. To make it worse, I was laughed at by Passions fans! They worship a show about a freakin' orangutan and yet have the audacity to make fun of me. Bastards!

I am not liking the OLTL crossover stuff. Am I supposed to have to follow that show to "get" the story for the next few years? Honestly, OLTL is the ONLY show I don't nor never have watched.

Eden's singing voice isn't my favorite kind of voice either, but I find that turning the sound down a little bit works wonders. Plus I just found the montage moving.

ABC's definitely going all out for Tuesday's two-hour ep--they're even buying radio :60s for it from top-rated stations all over. Oof. I have to admit, I'm kind of anticipating the ep. Bastards.

It's been brought up already, but deserves another mention...Kendall: "I want Bianca! I want Bianca!" Awww. And yes, we know. Loved her smackdown of Erica--a little too short, but that's ok, Monday's coming.

I liked the subtle little bit of Bobby letting himself have physical contact with Maddie, but not his son Sam.

The girl who plays Danielle is definitely a nice little actress. Danielle telling Reggie to get his girl was sweet. It's too bad that I still don't see any romantic chemistry between them. Damn, because I would actually like to get behind these two; they're both cute and charismatic and have talent.

I liked the childbirth scenes--except they were far too short (and I never thought I'd say that about a childbirth sequence, but y'know, SweatyWrithingTanktopBianca...). Loved when Miranda finally arrived and Bianca cried tears of joy, relief and exhaustion all at once--beautifully played by Eden, there. Babe was very sweet...and on the one hand, I really liked the kiss she gave Bianca, but on the other hand, it should've been Kendall there. Sniff! That was so cruel to make a reference to Bianca's breast-feeding without showing us any of it. I'm sure Babe enjoyed watching, though.

Boy, did Eden/Bianca look like death today, especially in contrast with that pink little baby. I liked how Babe saw something was seriously wrong with Bianca, and knew she had to go get help immediately, but hid her panic until she was away from Bianca. Bianca's talk to her little girl was touching, and well-written, because her own scars were showing clearly.

Alicia is cheating on her scenes to some extent--doing that actor thing of not really playing the scenes true to character because she knows what's coming up in the scripts and that she needs to hold herself back for that, but it's a bit difficult because that ain't Kendall. We've seen her freak out much more over much less where Bianca is concerned. Today Alicia didn't let herself really break out the Panicky Eyes until the very end. But it's okay, I'll fanwank it because 1) I love her and 2) I'm not in a huge rush for her to start ripping my heart out. Kendall's not letting herself realize the enormity of the situation, and she's in shock over the very possibility that Bianca and Miranda might be gone. There. Easy enough.

Adam's scene with Mary was wonderful and beautifully played. It's not often that we see that side of Adam come out, and he looked an awful lot like Stuart today.

I hate Paul, of course, but I did have to let out a snicker at his facial expression when Babe referred to Bianca as her "girlfriend". He totally took that the wrong way at first. Babe's line about how of course no one was home, because that would just be too easy, was funny. Babe, now you're starting to understand how things work around Bianca--things always go wrong, and a bad situation always gets worse. Reggie and Erica's mentions of curses and bad stuff always happening to Bianca was quite meta. That reminds me, I liked Reggie and Opal's conversation, and Reggie's attitude towards God. It was completely consistent with his attitude last year in his scenes with Joni when Jack was in surgery. I appreciate character continuity.

It is rather an ill feeling watching the clear turning moments when you know things are going horribly wrong then and there. Babe asking for Paul on the phone, most obviously. But I think the most affecting moment for me, probably, was when Babe said goodbye to Bianca and Miranda in the cabin. AMC cranked it up to the max, of course. Now it's all downhill from here...

ETA: swtrgrl, they said in TV Guide that the storylines are self-sustaining on both shows and that viewers don't have to watch the one to understand the other, with the exception of the two-hour episode, of course. Plus there are going to be occasional crossovers.

I don't think you wil have to follow both shows to get the story. TPTB have stated that both sides work alone, not just together. While putting faith in TPTB is ususally a mistake, I don't think they would be sutpid enought o link the two shows that much.

I am too, actually. I'm not hating this storyline near as much as most people but it may be because I'm looking at it in comparison to last year's Voldemort: it's the lesser of two evils.

I am surprised that they went ahead with all this crossover nonsense since the last time ABC attempted this (with Rae and Skye), it pretty much went over like a lead balloon.

Ugh. Why the heck didn't Babe call JR? The all-powerful head of Chandler Enterprises would have been able to help. Instead, she talks to Paul and now we get this crappy baby switch storyline that will probably go on for years. Why can't you let Bianca have some happiness in her life? Damn you McTrash. First you rape her, then you chase her girlfriend away, now you're taking her baby away. Blech. The way Bianca sulked around after being raped was painful. Imagine how it's going to be when she thinks her baby is dead?

SOW March 30th ed. cover story AMC/OLTL Crossover

While Babe is putting the pieces together, poor Bianca is left to "mourn" her baby. "Bianca wakes up to find her world completely turned upside-down," sighs Eden Riegel (Bianca). "She had completely bonded with this child in the nine months she carried her. For her and for Kendall, this child was their second chance. A glimmer of hope. It's probably going to be the hardest moment of her life, because how do you go on, having lost a child?" Particularly one you can hear crying down the hospital hallway, in the arms of one of your best friends..."


So Eden says it herself, Kinks is love.

Erica's world falls apart? Puh-leeze. Shut the hell up, Erica. For some reason, I'm giggling madly at the Jamie and Maggie declaring their love for others spoiler. Yeah, I can hear it now, "I love my dead gay best friend!" from Maggie and "I love my brother--oops, I mean, my brother's dead wife!" from Jamie.

Now Alicia playing Kendall falling apart, on the other hand, will be amazing, no doubt.


Yeah, that's why they got cold feet a few months ago and decided to drag Eden's Bianca into the SL. OLTL's side of the story will be fine because it's all long-running characters involved over there (except for NuPaul), with a messy quadrangle going on, but AMC had a problem with their side because Babe/JR/Jamie wasn't turning out to be sufficient. So in comes Eden. ABC's going to have to buy her a beachhouse or something.

And buy me a new liver. ;)

It is ever so hard to feel sorry for Erica, isn't it?

Delurking for a moment... I was briefly involved with Eden's ex a few years ago. He was very complimentary of her, uh, finer points. He left little doubt they're all natural. Sadly, my girls just couldn't compete.

Not to insinuate anything or insult you at all, but seriously, whose could? Once you’ve had Bianca’s rack, you never go back.

I thought I could just be Eden's bitch for at least a week (because of her Kinks shout out) without her pulling out some asshat comment. Now? Well. I could spank the little BAM pimp. The guy was Marj Dusay's nephew. He overheard me and my girlfriends discussing AMC at a party, and asked me what I thought of Vanessa. I said she was one of the few characters I could stand -- she, Leo and David. That besides them, the show was horrid. (These were the lean days in the summer of 2002). He laughed, and said his aunt Marj would appreciate that. Then he told me he used to be Eden's boyfriend. Seemed quite hung up on her (can't blame him!) Nice guy, but fervently Republican. I couldn't deal ;-)

I'm watching my tape now and I can't pinpoint when it happened exactly, but Alexa has really grown on me. I actually LIKE Babe. I even watch her scenes sans Eden! It flummoxes me. I was so set on her as AMC's answer to OLTL's Jenbot, and now... huh. I like her. Hate, loathe and despise her story, but she's kinda charming. And she definitely works the sapphic vibe. Oh yes.

As for the rest of the show so far... eh. Aside from the birthin' baby scenes, the only thing that really grabbed my attention was Lucci's hair. Back away from the Aquanet, lady! Man, she was rockin the Jersey hair today.

My, Christian Campbell is yummy. He can be my Trick anytime. Throw in Eden and it's a party!

Yeah, she snuck up on me, too. All she had to do was get away from that JR/Jamie crap and, suddenly, I'm on her love train. It boggles the mind, man.



You know, Trick is the only other thing I've seen CC in, so I'm still kinda waiting to see him hit on Aidan or something. I have to remember that he's Bobby now. Not a sweet faced, piano playin' gay boy. Hey, it takes time.

Well, that's just a slash-fic waiting to happen, if I've ever heard one! If I ever finish my OLTL fic from like, 5 years ago, I may have to venture down that road.



Well, thank you SkiffyPup! I'll wear it with pride. It's kinda funny, I was at a strip club with the guys from work a couple of weeks ago, and there was this gorgeous stripper with serious Boobs of Power. Alas, to my chagrin, they were faker than the bake on Krystal and all I could think was, 'Yeah, she's got nothing on the Binks'.

And then I realized this show has corrupted me in ways Catholic school never could...

This episode had both wonderful scenes, scenes that made me roll my eyes, and scenes that I made use of my FF button (Edmund/Maria. What, you thought it was anything else?)

I loved every single scene involving Bianca and/or Babe. I didn't even mind Bianca's cheesy song. I was in tears, y'all! What is the deal there? Usually I ignore all baby scenes - they just don't interest me. But, well, if Bianca is giving birth, I'll watch. And cry. She's that good. And I agree with most everyone else that Babe becomes 100 times more interesting with Bianca and away from her skanky mom, and idiotic husband.

I'm really liking the Reggie/Livia's daughter (no, I can't remember her name) pairing. I like how they're not shoved on us, and aren't immediately head over heels in love with each other. The whole thing just seems very natural, nicely paced, and not forced. Good acting, nice chemistry.

Although I liked how everyone eventually made their way to the Chandler house, I also have this question:



Word. Especially since Mia was there. Mia? Doesn't everyone know she's useless by now? The only reason Mia should ever be in the Chandler mansion is if she manages to make her way to the attic to get pushed out the window by Liza again.

I did like the interaction between Opal and Reggie, I liked the fact that Aiden and David (Hee! I wonder who let HIM in) were there, and I like the fact that it managed to weave many people that I care about into this story. But Erica can take her little black jacket and her hair flipping self back to her loft. "I'm cold, I'm cold". Yeah, whatever, you drama queen.

Boy, Greenlee is either truly dumb, or just really wants to play the martyr at this point to want to go break it to everyone that already blames her for a lot of Bianca's troubles that she thinks Bianca might be dead. I found it funny that in the previews Kendall was laying into Erica. Had she already smacked Greenlee back to Philadelphia? Because I can't see her taking that kind of news kindly from Greenlee. Or Ryan, accompanied by Greenlee.

One final gripe. When Babe called the hospital, the brain dead (as far as I'm concerned) nurse told her to call 911, while seeming completely bored. So, you mean that Babe didn't call that to begin with??? But instead called some random hospital, in a town other than Pine Valley, and knew the number?? And just happened to know that Paul had access to a helicopter, and he just happened to be right there? What??? Yes, I know this is a soap, but come. on. Can this plot be any more contrived? I guess I'll have to wait until Tuesday to say "Yes, yes it can". Because, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm skipping ATWT and taping this two hour farce, or extravaganza, or whatever you want to call it.

I am so this show's bitch.
