Yeah, I guess that Kendall will be so relieved that Bianca's alive that it will cushion the Mimo blow, but not much. Kinks will be in so much pain. I'm gonna dehydrate watching this SL, I just know it.

For me personally, I don't see it either. I think we've still seen a lot of Kendall's edge. Yeah, she's sweet with her sister. But Bianca's the only one she's sweet with. I think it just makes Kendall more fleshed out and multi-faceted. Just look at the venom that drips from Kendall whenever Greenlee's name gets brought up. And I'm sure she's going on one heck of a tear when Mimo "dies". First up, Erica.

Dragging this over from the OLTL board, we knew most of this already but there's a bit more detail: Paul switches the baby after Babe calls him to help her and Bianca. Bianca is totally out of it. Paul delivers Babe's baby, then drugs her. He takes Babe's baby (possibly HIS kid) and sets him aside for Kelly. Meanwhile, he takes Bianca, Babe and Bianca's girl on a helicopter and fakes a crash and tells Babe her baby died. Until JR and Jamie pressure him and then he says that really it was Bianca's baby that died. So Babe gets Bianca's kid. Bianca is devastated.

Fuck you, JR and Jamie. I know it's not really your fault, but fuck you anyway.

What confused me was I thought I heard Edmund call out to Isabella before the tree crashed through. I might have misheard though.

I'm so geared up for Kendall's smackdown of Erica that I don't know what to do with myself. I hope Kendall is merciless. I mean, she thinks her beloved GF is dead! Oooooooh, Kendall, tear Erica's ass up! I hope David rips into Erica, too, since I'm sure Kendall told him that Erica upset Binks. Of course, my joy will be complete when Bianca 'rejects' Erica. It's about friggin' time that Erica gets her comeuppance. Oh, yes, it is.

Bwah! I'm still way behind, but managed to catch a few scenes today -- one of which being an aerial view of Beastmund at the base of the insurmountable, gigantically mountainous staircase. Poor Beastmund. I was a little disappointed when he didn’t channel his inner McGuyver, fashion a heavy-duty rope from his chest and back hair, heave said rope upward for it to magically wrap around the uppermost banister, and haul his hairy ass upstairs to save the day. Use your resources, Beastmund! A real hero would’ve done it. I’m just sayin’.

Yeah, I took a little time out during non-Bianca scenes to appreciate Jamie. The boy is so dumb, but he does have nice arms. And good, Maggie's moved across the hall. That means the studio's definitely going bye-bye, clearing the way for Bianca to move in with her girlfister once she finally gets out of the freaking hospital. She hadn't bought the house Lena found her yet and I doubt she will now.

I'm glad David's not MY doctor. Did you see how he dropped that woman on the table? He knows she has a head injury, and just drops her! I was afraid for the arm she had caught under her, but at the last minute she moved it out of the way. Made me laugh.

As long as Kendall has animosity with Erica (and let's face it, she always will), Kendall will never completely lose her edge. She is significantly nicer these days, owing to the fact that she has a lot more going for her and is inherently happier and I do have nostalgia for Evil Bitch Kendall as played by SMG (and Alicia in her early days on the show) but I feel the progression of her character has run a natural course and doesn't seem at all out of the blue or anything. In short: still loving the Kendall.

Thanks for answering, kariyaki. I was a bit puzzled by some criticism I have heard about Kendall's softer side. I've always seen her character growth as very natural and believable.

Oh, after Lena's exit (sniff!), you know Kendall will try to pick out a shiny new woman for Binks. That will be a riot to watch. "Kendall! Stop hiring hot women as secretaries just to provide me with eye-candy! Someone around here needs to be able to type!"

What I'd really prefer is if Bianca turned the tables on Kendall and slept with all the women Kendall'd hired. Tells her sister that she's realized that the universe is never gonna let her be happy, so fuck ideas of love, all these women want her and so she's going to have some fun and put some notches on her bedpost, dammit. Then Kendall could rip her hair out.

I know AMC will never do it, though. I'll settle for Alternative #2, which is completely in keeping with Bianca's character--she ignores all the perfect women Kendall's handpicked for her and goes right for the messed-up one that Kendall had never intended for Bianca to notice. Kendall rips her hair out and complains to Erica, who just snickers knowingly.

Eden's boob was definitely out there today. I have to give Eden and AMC props for making Binks childbirth so realistic. As someone who has given birth to two children without any drugs or doctors involved, I can say that today was very realistic. I would have been naked for the 7th Fleet if it brought my babies out sooner; modesty is the last thing that you are thinking about at that point. It is very obvious that Eden has done some research and understands the pain involved in childbirth. She is such an amazing actress and I will be totally disappointed in the Emmy process if she does not win an award both this year and next year.

I really hated Babe when she first came on AMC but the more I get to know her the more I like her. After today, I feel that she is a lot like me in that she did not grow up under the best of circumstances but has done the best that she can and definitely has her heart in the right place. I loved the way that she was there for Bianca.

As for the second set of pics--what the ass? How is it that Bianca is not able to recognize her own daughter and how is it that Babe doesn't remember that Paul told her that her baby died? I will have to assume that both women conveniently awaken with memory loss. In Babe's case, I suppose it makes sense. My sister went into a month-long coma a couple of years ago and when she woke up, she couldn't remember anything that happened from about a week before she went under, until she woke up. In Bianca's case, however, I'm not so sure. Ok, so, wow. I've been reading this thread for a few months, and posting off and on, but I finally realized how much this place has influenced the way I watched this show today.

During Bianca's and Babe's "labor" scenes? All I kept thinking about was how hot Bianca looked in that tank top. And during the "boob popping out" shot, the first thing I thought was that Black Knight had to be a pretty happy camper right about then. I spent more time analyzing Bianca's rack than I did thinking about her being in labor. And I'm a straight woman. And I'm not even bothered by this. Hell, if nothing else, it's made watching AMC a more interesting experience.

Other than the B&B scenes, I thought this episode was very meh. Krystal freaking the hell out just made me roll my eyes. Yes, WE know what is happening with Babe, but she doesn't, and she's carrying on like Babe has been missing for three weeks, not three hours. I just wanted to give her a big smack and tell her to get ahold of herself. Idiot.

I liked Kendall's scenes, but unfortunately, they came at the expense of having to watch J.R. "emote". Yeah, because yelling = emotion. And him and Jamie's little confrontation just made me laugh. And then it made me miss the Jamie and J.R. of 5 years ago. And then I was just pissy.

As for Edmund? Whatever - FF the whole way.

But David? I don't care if he's a crappy doctor, as long as he keeps that black shirt on, he can do whatever the heck he wants to. David + black = hot. I've found myself rooting for a Kendall/David pairing. I don't care about their history (it's not any creepier than me rooting for Kinks), and as much as it pains me, I think the Kaiden ship has sailed. And she and David have more chemistry in one 5 minute scene talking about Erica than Kendall and Ryan have had in their entire courtship. Not that that's a surprise.

If I can't have my Timone, and it's looking like I can't, I'd settle for some, um, Davall? Kevid? I'm no good at making up these names.

And, sorry for the length, but I'm torn whether or not to skip ATWT on Tuesday to tape OLTL to see the whole 2 hour crossover extravaganza. Is it going to be mostly the, well, um, "plot", or is it going to be 20 minutes of "plot", and 40 minutes of other OLTL stuff that I don't give a crap about. Does anyone know how this is going to work?

Perhaps it's just because I'm generally unsentimental when it comes to babies and children, but (putting in spoilers, though who knows why since the commercials give nearly everything away) I can totally believe Bianca and Babe not recognizing their babies. Bianca will only get to hold hers for a short while, and it could take her days, or weeks, before she can stand to go near Babe's supposed daughter. By that point, Miranda will have changed a lot. And Babe, meanwhile will have been drugged and in a copter crash and then in a coma for who knows how long. Bianca can't be doing well even before the copter crash, either, because when I was rewatching the newest AMC/OLTL promo, I noticed that when Paul runs to Babe in the cabin, Bianca is out cold in a corner. So between their physical states, the very brief time they get with their babies, and the likely relatively long time, in terms of baby development stages, before they get a look at "Bess", it makes sense to me. From the spoilers, Bianca isn't even going to be told for almost a full week (in real time) that her daughter is "dead".

Add in my vote among those who think NuPaul is not cute at all. But I'm okay with that. What I'm not okay with is how dumb he looks.

Is it going to be mostly the, well, um, "plot", or is it going to be 20 minutes of "plot", and 40 minutes of other OLTL stuff that I don't give a crap about. Does anyone know how this is going to work?

The printed comments said that this is a "seamless" two-hour episode. This is just a guess, but as such, I don't think there will be a clear division between "AMC hour" and "OLTL hour"--heck, who knows, they might do something cool with the opening credits. No idea as to how much other SLs will be featured, but I could see it being very little indeed, given the amount of action for this plot that's occurring in this two-hour episode.

Heh, katesus7. (Perhaps I need to clean up my reputation a little...but it's probably far too late for that.) I'm still cracking up at what Mystic0 said about some other board debating whether Eden had implants. Just before she turns over on her side, she's laying fairly flat and her rack clearly flattens out a little. Natural breasts do that; implants don't.

And, for all the gloriousness of Eden's rack in that black tank today, after rewatching the ep, I have concluded the best part is really at the end. The whole last scene looks great in slo-mo, but the very last shot of Eden in particular? Damn. She looks like a goddess. Now I must go see if there's a cappie of the second in that shot where she had her eyes closed.

I almost thought I was going to have to watch AMC tonight on low volume, because I didn't want my parents to think I was watching something dirrrty. If they had heard it and popped into my room to see, what would they have found on screen? You know it's time for me to have another baby when, despite the fact that childbirth almost killed me the first time, seeing Bianca start the labor process made me all misty eyed and a little bit envious (of a soap character who's about to lose the baby to the worst baby stealing SL ever!). And little Mimo is quite a cute baby in those pictures.

Of course, my baby yearning didn't interfere with the pervy filter that AMC keeps on alert at all times, and Alexa has dropped all pretext of not bringing the hoyay. I actually said out loud to my TV, "Um, Babe, you know her belly's a lot lower than that, right? OK, then, carry on."

And was that noise I heard today the explosions of many a Bammers' heads? Babe and Bianca--best friends? And the thing is, despite my initial Boobe reservations, I like Babe, and I like her and Bianca as friends. I hate that the friendship was developed strictly to set up the SL from hell that we're about to endure, but I think the actresses have a very easy, fun chemistry together, and I hope they keep the friendship angle alive in the future.

And JR today--I'm pretty sure I heard his inner dialogue during that scene at Bianca and Maggie's apartment--"My pregnant wife and our pregnant friend is missing. But my does my brother look hot in that shirt. Has he been working out? Jamie, how you doin'? Wait, shouldn't I go find the girls? Maybe we can form a search party together, I'll call the driver to bring the limo, we can ride in back. I hear he likes it back there."

I was totally thinking the same. I certainly haven't checked the BAM boards to see if any of them were rational enough to point out that Bianca doesn't actually say "best friends." Babe attaching to Bianca so strongly makes sense to me, because she's a stray who's been utterly isolated in PV with no one else being genuinely nice to her with the exception of her mother. I doubt she's Bianca's best friend, at least right now anyway, but Bianca's certainly not going to say that. But I just really liked Babe during that, especially the tear in her eye when she said "Just like their moms. Bianca and Babe" just a bit hesitantly. I think this whole experience will bond them a lot, though, and that the friendship will continue. Unfortunately, that now makes me worried that it's set-up for a nasty custody battle down the road over Miranda that rips apart the friendship. It will be much, much easier to unravel the secret that "Bess" is Bianca's daughter than to figure out that Kelly Buchanan absconded with Babe's baby. From the AMC characters' point of view, their question is which baby died in the copter crash, not whether any baby died at all.

Well, I fell asleep on the couch waiting for the laundry, but now holy crap, BK, that cappie is even keeping straight women wide awake! It fed right into my alternate version of today’s show, too -- whenever they focused on just Bianca sweatily writhing in those scenes, I kept thinking how nice it would be to hear a throaty Polish accent respond in kind just off-camera. And I agree katesus7, TWoP not only makes AMC more interesting, yet again the show in our heads is better than the one on the page.

I wanted to invest in the Edmund scenes...not that I care about Edmund, but I am looking forward to AMC finally acknowleging Sammy's parentage. So, I know that AMC rotates directors and such, but do they rotate hair/makeup too? During the whole Pine Valley Inn interview scenes and back at her apartment with Jack, Erica's hair and makeup looked better than I'd seen it in ages...then beginning of the next episode, where she was still on the couch with Jack, she looked totally different...the hair was back to being horrible and bad eye make up too...Did anyone else notice that or I am I just SO GAY???

Dirksonboy, I have noticed Erica's makeup too. She is an unfortunate victim of Fiftytryingtolooktwentyitis. When the makeup is more subtle and the hair doesn't look like an 80's rock video, she looks much better.

I was so distraught and upset and overwhelmed with sympathy for poor Edmund trying to get through the Doorjamb of Death that I laughed until coffee came out of my nose. All I could think was why couldn't the kids come DOWNSTAIRS??

This should in no way be considered a defense of McTrash, but this SL is not entirely up to her. ABC and the OLTL writers are just as involved, so it'll be rather difficult to stop this story in its tracks, even if McTrash saw the light (fat chance) and tried to push for a quicker end than planned. Sigh. Personally, I'm still hoping that the truth about Bianca's baby at least comes out before the truth about Kelly. Even if it means we have to endure a nasty custody battle on AMC. It's really the only way I can see this story continuing for two years--in the first year, the truth comes out about Bianca's baby, in the second year, the truth comes out about Kelly taking Babe's baby.

I noticed David Tom's comments about Bianca's baby being born out of rape and the pain that's caused her family and how that partly influences Paul's decision to pass Bianca's baby off as Babe's--bet that means Erica shoots her damn mouth off at length to Paul, because, y'know, it's completely appropriate to whine loudly some more about the rape baby while her originally-presumed-dead daughter's lying unconscious. Erica, I hate you. So. Much. Do you ever shut up? I can't wait for Bianca to kick your ass to the curb, finally.

I agree, but I think it's actually very in keeping with her character, so I like that they do that. Erica isn't someone who would age gracefully; she's totally the type who will continue to dress and style herself as decades younger, and when called on it, will say that she's simply making sure she looks good.

Congrats to the posters here who got Mara talking about Kinks--y'all rock!
