That DLoFE cappie is unfortunately about two seconds further along than it should be, hence the funny expression on Eden's face--that's when she and Kendall start laughing over the idea of Mimo having Kendall's great sense of fashion. Two seconds earlier, now, the look on her face was veeeeery interesting and suggestive. A few seconds later, when she opens the door and lets Kendall through, she does a really cute, but much shorter, second DLoFE.

I'm going to have to start digging through that site myself, methinks. Work should be slow tomorrow...heh.

Erica remained relatively calm after the fiasco of her press conference. After all these years she still resent Kendall for what happen to her( her rape) and she tries to pass that legacy along to Binks as well. No wonder, Binks wants to go as far away from Erica as possible.

Erica needs to die, like right now. Her capacity for cruelty knows absolutely no friggin' bounds. Bianca knows the crap Mimo will have to face, she actually knows Kendall as a person instead of just a caricature of a 'rape baby', but Bianca is actually smart enough to know that the baby's conception isn't the sum total of what a person's life amounts to. The 'truth' Bianca (and Kendall) didn't need to hear is that her own blasted mother is incapable of seeing past the mindless bigotry and utterly stupid perception that someone's life isn't worth living, or is destined to be hellish, if they aren't born of perfect circumstances. If Erica says, "born out of love" one more time... Hee! Dude, I got issues, people.

Stepping away from my all encompassing Erica hate, this was some juicy Kane action. I dug the nice touch of them showing that Kendall is still smarting from Greens outing the baby. It was a nice reminder about how much Kendall really wanted to spare Mimo (and Binks) from the BS that she'll have to face. Another lesson Erica could learn if she weren't blind, Kendall knows exactly the crap Mimo will go through and still supports Bianca's decision to keep the baby. So if Kendall, who gets the complications of the situation more than anyone, is optimistic about Mimo's future, Erica really should think about that a bit. But Erica's evil so never mind.

I gots to give it up for the actors. Alicia is getting *so* good at tearing up. She's getting better and better every single day at injecting more subtlety into her work. Susan was freaking chilling when Erica really started to rake her manicure on Bianca's fears. You go, Lucci! I despise your character but you rock on with your bad self. Eden? What's to say? She continues to rock. She got to glare and nobody does wounded better than her. These women just keep bringing it.

Heh, Eden still can't talk about either of her leading ladies without it sounding suggestive--"[Olga and I] have developed a palpable connection that has been a transcendent experience for me"--uh huh. Will Luscious feel that "transcendent" outweighs Eden's newsprintgasm over her of "cathartic/liberating/renewing" and kick up the SisYay even further to make sure she's the number one crush in Eden's heart? Questions, questions. It must be fun to be Eden and feel all that when looking into Alicia or Olga's eyes. Hee.

I've been having to eat lunch at work due to staff shortage and my coworkers watch Passions instead of AMC. So yeah, during commercial breaks on Passions I'd switch it to my crappy show. I saw some scene with Jamie and have come to the conclusion that he's the gayest gay boy to ever gay. He wears more bracelets than Opal...and that thumb ring...so gay! I think these are just examples of McTrash doing a bit of housekeeping (get it? mcTRASH. Housekeeping. do you? Get. It?) to quell then-ongoing speculation about AMC’s possible quite SORAS’ing of Bianca during FEM. The FEMinizing of Bianca. heh. And, if I recall, we'd seen Bianca drinking alcohol on a few occasions before Thanksgiving, further muddying the waters (or compelling some people cry "Underaged Drinking!!"). Anyway, de-SORAS’ing Bianca via Lena and Kendall didn’t make much sense to me at the time and, with the Jamie/Junior SORAS, makes Bianca’s de-SORAS look even more ill-advised in retrospect. Further evidence that McTrash is, indeed, a hack. McTrash, she vexes me.

The Jamie SORAS really bugs me for some reason. Ooh, I know why, AMC pulled a Y&R -- Nicholas Newman left for boarding school one day aged 10-ish and returned like a week later aged 22-ish. Without preamble. To this day I'll channel surf by Y&R, watch Nick with his little family and think, so Nick is about, what, 18 now? Same thing will happen from now on with Junior and Jamie.

Well, on a purely shallow level, Eden looks hot in that black dress. Yeah, considering how she's dressed and made up, Bianca's in the adult sphere for good now. Damn, now I'll have to go look for the TV Guide issue to see how it looks in color. Hey Mystic0, look, Heather Tom's got her arm on Eden's shoulder. Ha! She can't resist the Must...Paw...Eden impulse either.

I'm focusing on the fact that Logan only said it "could" take years...could could could. That doesn't mean it'll take years. He doesn't know one way or another. Or Bianca could get Memo back long before Babe gets her son back--it'll be easier for them to unwind the Bianca part of the baby-switch than it will to figure out where Babe's boy is, and Babe will already be suspicious because of the gender issue. 'Course, she's dense, and she's also in a frigging coma for who knows how long. Could Bianca/Babe have more disaster? First they are stranded at a cabin in a storm...then the car washes away in a flash flood...then Binks goes into premature labor...then Babe goes into premature labor...then the helicopter being used in their rescue crashes and nearly kills them and "kills" Memo. I mean, really, what else can go wrong here? Poor Kendall. She's going to be totally out of her mind with worry. First Bianca missing, then the helicopter crashes, Bianca almost dies, the baby "dies", then Kendall's probably got to tell Bianca her baby's dead, once Bianca gets out of surgery. On the bright side, this SL should give Alicia the kind of episodes she needs to make next year's final Emmy cut.

Well, today's ep made me very hopeful that we are going to get back to some work-related SLs. Talk about Fusion, talk about Erica's venture, talk about Kendall's intention to keep Greenlee on the outs, talk about Bianca controlling the Cambias fortune and thus being able to bankroll whatever she wants...yay! I cracked up at Kendall's line "not even to direct [Greenlee] the rest of the way to hell." And while I'm usually bored by Amelia, I did laugh at Mia's hand over her face as Simone babbled on.

The press conference was a disaster, of course, and none of them handled it very well, but Bianca had the right idea ultimately. It is a huge scandal, and the best way to deal with that is to sit down and do an interview--with someone respectable, not that harridan--and just answer the questions straightforwardly. Then the public gets bored and the story dies down, especially if the interviewee presents himself or herself well. That said, this certainly wasn't the right setting for it, since the interviewer was out for blood and Erica was screaming and then Kendall barged in and then JR put an end to the short-term problem, but ultimately made it all worse because now it looks like they're covering up and using their money and power to do it. I was just relieved when the press conference was cut off because of the way it was being shot--in particular, there was a godawful shot of Erica that made her look like Medusa.

Oh, Kendall. From the previews, Erica's so going to do a number on her tomorrow. Bet she's telling Kendall that she's ruined her sister's life. That would upset Kendall more than anything else. It would be a particularly crafty (and nasty) angle for Erica to take because she's so bothered by the Kinks bonding, so trying to convince Kendall she's bad for Bianca would be a way for her to try to break them up. In advance, shut the fuck UP, Erica! Susan did play her scenes extremely well, as par the course for her lately. It was a nice little bit when Kinks teamed up to try to "handle" Erica and Erica called them on their tagteam work immediately. (I also snickered at Kendall running to Bianca first without sparing a glance at their mother.) I do love the WTF? expressions Kinks shoots each other in scenes with their psycho mother. Hee. And their unspoken communication rocks too. They're so in tune with each other. Aww.

The anvils in the Bianca/JR scene buried me. Didn't we have enough anvils on Friday? One thing got cleared up, though--Bianca's put down a bid on the house Lena found her, but hasn't yet closed the deal. She'll have no chance to do that now, so...her living arrangements once she gets out of the hospital are up in the air. Y'all know where my vote goes--living with her girlfister!

Gah! Shut up JC! I am hoping that the SL will receive such a negative reaction, that TPTB will realize the mistake they made and end it early. Yeah, I know, that's wishful thinking.



Word. SL was seriously frightening yesterday. I was expecting Erica to meltdown a little, but she didn't. She was cold and calculating. She cut Bianca and her baby up with the precision of a surgeon. I didn't know SL had it in her to be this good.

JY returned to his Shouty McYelly method acting that he fine tuned while on GH. I was glad that someone got rid of Annoying Reporter, even if it was JR. At least someone did it. Speaking of Annoying Reporter... Erica is supposed to be La Kane, the Divah of Divahs. So why on earth would she participate in an interview where the questions weren't approved of in advance?

The funniest scene yesterday was when Jamie told his parents about moving in with Maggie and Brooke and Tad looked horrified and said in unision "Maggie Stone??!!". Then Tad remembering catching Jamie and Naggie together, looked like he needed a gallon of brain bleach to go with his Toastie O's. Hee. See, they're disgusted by Naggie too, but it's disguised as concern for their son.

Hey, bright side to this looooong hospital stay for Bianca and Babe, when Bianca is released, AMC will probably have her right back to her old weight, no "transition period" of her dropping the baby fat at all. Of course, I also doubt she's going to be in the mood to run around in sexy shirts, but she ought to be wearing black for mourning a good deal. Yum.

Oh, Mystic0, I forgot to comment on the Babe/Bianca elevator scene. You're right, Alexa's totally bucking to take the lead on the "pawing Eden" sweepstakes from Kendall. When I saw that, I was all, "Hey, that's Kendall's move! Kendall cuddles her girlfister like that! Babe's totally stealing it!" Guess Babe figured out drawing attention to her rack doesn't work with Bianca and took notes during lamaze class, since Bianca obviously likes what Kendall does for her. (smirk)
