I'm sure I'm not the only one to bring this up, but WTF with the Pie Balley "time/space continuim"? It was @1:00 or 2:00 a.m. when Bianca went over to Erica's, and at the same time, JR has gotten out of bed and is at the hospital challenging that Paul Cramer person to a "worst actor" contest, and Jamie stalks into Babe's room...I could almost accept that until Krystal comes in all dressed and ready to go for the day, then the subpoena guy shows up at Erica's (I won't even go into HOW THE HELL he knew Jack was there) like suddenly it's the next morning or something. It's late and I'm sleepy so I'm writing like an idiot, but ya'll know what I'm saying, right!!!!???!!!

Grrrrrrr....I just hate when stupid crap like that distracts me from an episode that wasn't too bad,otherwise.

I laughed so hard at this episode today--it was great fun! From the gunfight at the OK Ski Lodge to the Paul beating at the hospital to the LeMaggie smackdown. Too much.

It was so obvious that McThing wrote the lodge stuff and someone intelligent wrote the LeMaggie scene. I was laughing at the lodge stuff for its obsurdity and the smackdown for its wit. Too bad they can't be quality consistent.

And someone needs to kill Ryan Pinchsac right now. CM is so bad and selfish an actor--he actually BLOCKED Chesty from the camera when he grabbed her to prevent her from going into the ER with the Beast. He covered her on her downstage side and turned her away from the camera. She should have kneed him in the nuts for that. Amateur shithead.

How else is Cam going to get his screen time?

So, someone on the writing staff must be annoyed with Ryan--why else did we get the girls taking down the guy he couldn't even tie up right? That was the only part of this whole lodge story I liked, the Fusion girls working together and taking out the bad guys. Mia's actually bearable when she's kicking someone's ass.

Did it look to anyone else like Jack figured out what Bianca really came over for? His expression when she left looked like someone who had just done the math. The thing I really love about Jack lately is that as much as he loves Erica, he loves her girls, too. Both of them. And he will stick up for them to her.

Maggie could not be any more out of her league than when she's trying to fight Lena. It's not even close. And I laughed my ass off right along with everyone else when Bianca ran past Maggie to get the comfort hug from Lena.

Is it wrong that part of me wants Maria and Edmund's "big story" to be that the only thing that can save his life now, somehow, is David's magic memory loss potion? Then "Edward" can fall for Mia, Aidan will be freed back up for Kendall and Maria can hook up with McGrabbyhands as her fallback until Edmund's memory returns. Or is this just the hydrocodone talking?

I'm interpreting Jack's "smell the fart" expression as him figuring out that Bianca is still pregnant. Either that, or someone really did fart.

Okay, that made me laugh. Mostly because I got the mental picture of the director yelling cut and Walt going, "Susan!!"

I read here and at AGR about the horror that was Maggie's shirt-thing, but I was not truly prepared for the hideous merlot colored knit tenticle that has wrapped itself around her. What the hell was that? It looked like she had tried to knit a scarf for Binks for Christmas, but it came out sort of wrong, so she decided to keep it as a snazzy new look. First NYE horrors for all, and now that? I am firmly convinced that the designer from Charmed has worked her way over to AMC. Bleh. That said, the Maggie and Lianca scenes were fun to watch. Lena was just so damm cool and mature, and all Maggie could do was stand there and sputter.

I thought for sure that when Jackson followed Bianca out that he knew what was going on. When Erica was all "Don't try to turn this back on to me?!?" and fluffing her hair to show her indignation, she had me screaming at the t.v. because I'm pretty sure the memo stated that everything is all. about. La Kane. gah! Shut it, Erica!!

And it was 20 kinds of gross when Chesty looked down, saw blood on her hands, and immediately covered her mouth. Yeck.

OMG, JR is all "smell-the-fart" school, that's only part of why I can't stand the punk! The only thing I'm enjoying about the Babe storyline now is the hilarious Britney similarities. Does Britney watch this show? Did she imitate it? Is she gonna go for that guy's brother now? (I heard her "ex-husband" now has an agent and PR firm. Oy.)

My favorite part of the ski lodge scenes is the sound of footsteps clomping on wooden floors as they run across the "snow". When did Mia become such a hateful bitch? What was with her weird laugh when she observed that Juan Pablo had his heart broken by Greenlee? She's gone round the bend.

I agree with Black Knight's astute assessment of Erica: she doesn't know Kendall, the daughter she doesn't like, is so much like her, and she also doesn't know that Bianca, the one she favors, is her opposite. If she admitted that Kendall was like her, she'd have to accept her completely and admit that the supposedly hateful qualities of Richard Fields, her favorite bogeyman, are actually all hers. (Anyway, as a past murderer, what makes Erica morally better to Fields? Getting away with it?) This would destroy a glorious ego facade. I think that in order to accept Kendall, for real, she'll have to figure herself out, that she is Kendall's mother and gave her some of her own "qualities", bad and good, and she'll have to accept what she'll see as the travesty of Cambius's baby being born to Bianca. Because as long as she thinks the baby is just a lie concocted by Evil Kendall, she can go on with her delusions. But once she finds out the baby is Saint Bianca's, her whole worldview will be turned upsidedown. I hope! I'm looking forward to that. But I still hold to my annoying position that she should know. I can't help it, I want the air cleared and for Bianca to be able to show her strength and not hide her truths from Erica, and to find out if Erica is at all worthy or capable of learning or growing from this information. And the longer Bianca has lied, the more Erica-like she's been for me, and that wasn't true to herself.

I agree too but not that Erica doesn't know she and Kendall are alike. She knows. She's admitted it. But she conveniently forgets these facts because she and Kendall are juuuuuust different enough for her to ignore all the similarities and pretend Kendall is the Devil Child.

I was so annoyed by Ryan being the one to molest--er, comfort--Maria at the end. Isn't Aidan a much more logical choice for comfort? Not that I want to see or even remember the original Maiden, mind you, but since when are Maria and Ryan such close, dear friends? This is all purely rhetorical, by the way, as I know the answer already.

If Krystal is so determined to protect Boobe, why doesn't she do us all a big favor and kill Jamie? I'd be grateful. By the way, AMC long-time watchers, please fill me in--I don't remember, but did we ever hear about these stupid secret passageways in the Chandler mansion before the Boobe SL?

I really have nothing more to say about the Erica/Bianca scenes other than I agree that Bianca won't tell Kendall about it--at least not in any detail, she may have to briefly touch on it while informing Kendall of her decision to stay in town for the trial. And yes, Jack is suspicious. Remember Kendall all but told him outright, when they were talking in the jail cell together, that she and Bianca were in cahoots on something together, right after the whole Turkey Day pretending from Bianca that she was so on the outs with her sister that she wouldn't sit next to or across from her. I'm really going to laugh when Erica realizes Bianca helped Kendall fake that pregnancy test. Snerk.

The Lena/Maggie showdown was great. Olga's making the most of Lena's tougher and more calculated side emerging again. I absolutely loved the way Lena delivered that line when she said outright she thought Maggie had feelings more than friendship for Bianca (and she looked really hot at that moment, too). One thing I find amusing is that they're really not all that different as far as Bianca is concerned. Notice, for instance, that Lena didn't deny Maggie's accusation that Lena was trying to push her out--she just pointed out Maggie's doing the same. Those two are like pot and kettle, but Lena's a lot smoother about it. All the jockeying for position is fun. Lena's threat of taking Bianca away altogether so that Maggie will never see her was effective, and delivered under a perfect pretense of simply trying to ameliorate an uncomfortable situation. Maggie can't complain to Bianca about any of it without looking unreasonable and bitchy, while Lena continues to look gracious. Snerk. Maggie's so out of her depth.

Exactly--it's not that she doesn't know, but she's really, really good at floating in her little bubble of delusion. Whenever someone points out a similarity to her, if it's about something bad such as their propensity for lying, she usually gets upset first, then admits they share the quality, but spins it in a way that justifies herself and places it in a better light. Erica has that paradox of having a huge ego and yet being overwhelmingly insecure--she adores herself as the hottest thing going, yet on another, deeper level is overwhelmingly critical of herself.

Liz does "smell the fart" and also as a question "smell the fart?". Is it gas? Garlic breath? Or a fart?

Thanks for answering my question, Grimaldi. I was not watching during the Stuart reveal and I couldn't remember having seen the secret passageways before. A lot of the last Adam/Liza go-round, with the brain tumor and embezzling and gaslighting, seemed like a natural for the secret passageway shtick and maybe AMC did use it and I just didn't notice, as I FF'd an awful lot of that story. I'm just really tired of how the passageway is being used as a plot device now--it feels wrong to me, because that's more of a Gothic kind of motif and there's nothing gothic about this crappy Boobe SL, except maybe for Jamie's insistence on JR being a horrible husband that he must "save" Babe from. But it's not like either of the dweebs playing JR and Jamie can pull off Heathcliff.

ETA: Yeah, I only notice a thread slowdown in terms of time of day--around 10am my time discussion slows down. Something I remembered from yesterday's episode suddenly hit me. It took seven people to cart Edmund into whatever transportation took him to the hospital. Seven people. Manscape him. It has to be the hair that's causing the extra weight.

I've always said that the reason Edmund looks thin in any flashback scenes isn't because John Callahan has put on weight, but because I believe he used to clipper off the bulk of his body hair.

What I don't get is that AMC waxes Aiden, so why should John C. get off the hook?
