Yea - the forum is back up, but aaaacckkk, I must post as we are almost on PToS!!!
I've been thinking about the whole baby swap idea. I don't watch OLTL, but does anyone think that Paul is going to help his sister, because the results of Babe's blood test were that JR is not the father, and so Paul is assuming that it's his, so why not bring the kid to Lanview? Or, is he just a jerk who doesn't mind kidnapping one or 2 babies? Or both? I can't recall if he knows that NuJamie was a possible father - is there anyone who didn't FF when that may have been revealed?

Thanks, Random person! You rock. I appreciate all infobits and bytes (and bites!)
Some set info makes it obvious from the previous spoilers which characters are in. Others ... um, not so much.
I watched American Dreams and missed Eden because I had to pee.
Whatever. I loved the show and the music! That one brunette girl reminds me of Mayim Bialik (sp? GREAT actor, BTW. Haven't seen her recently.. would make a fine Binks GF.. hint hint.).

Very upset about the Olga news but of course feel the need to comment on the Tad spoiler stuff.
"Three women want Tad. But one of them will bow out, prompting the most wanted man to rethink his current bachelor lifestyle."
So is this Krystal, i.e. she did this last week?
Tad will fall legitimately, fully in love with one of those women, but she may not be who audience members think.
Well, this is a mystery, because I guarantee that whatever McTavish thinks audience members think is different from what audience members actually think. Sigh.
Still holding out hope for Timone. I have no life.

Wow! She's going to be taking over the female lead. That's awesome for her. When I heard she was joining MI-5, I thought it was as a supporting/recurring character. I didn't watch the show when it came on A&E, it was one of the shows where I said I would watch but could never get really into it. But I think I'll have it give it a try.

That's okay,
Dianora. I'm right there with you. I'm choosing to believe the spoiler is about
Simone, who would seem to be the unlikely choice because she doesn't have the history with Tad that Liza does, nor was she brought on for him as Krystal was. That's my spin and I'm sticking to it until I see otherwise on the show. Nyaaaaah!
It was too cute seeing Eden in period hair and dress, and all pissed off! I cracked up at her very first second onscreen, because it just confirmed that she has
totally fallen into Alicia's habit of throwing "come hither" looks at everyone. Hee. And then when she got her bitch on...yum. She's so hot when she's dripping with contempt. I especially liked the "fuck you, you dumbasses" look she tossed just before starting the LBJ chant.
So, speaking of PissedOffEden,
I was wondering what Bianca is going to be like once this baby-stealing SL goes down. Obviously devastated and crying--Eden already referred to these scenes as the toughest of her career, which considering Voldemort is downright scary--but she can't just cry for months on end. I'm hoping she gets deeply, deeply pissed off, feeling the universe has fucked her over one too many times. I'd like to see Kendall convince Bianca that she should throw herself into business, and have the Sisters Kane really turn into a force to be reckoned with in the boardroom, what with the Cambias billions to back them and people like Greenlee, Ryan, and Erica as possible opponents. Yeah, Erica. Bianca knows that Erica always wanted this baby dead and now that Erica's gotten her way, Erica will probably try to be phonily sympathetic, and Bianca should see right through it. So should Kendall, really. I want to see Kinks just rip Erica apart.I read Olga's post---
wow, the lead? That's unbelievably terrific for her, and she's right that it's going to open many, many doors for her.snarkyb,
I'm thinking that Paul is indeed the father of Babe's baby. That would explain why he doesn't just steal Bianca's baby and leave Babe's alone. By bringing Babe's baby to Llanview, he ensures that he'll be able to see the kid often. I don't quite know why he would then want to hand Bianca's baby to Babe, but it could have to do with money. After all, Babe having a baby ensures her marriage to JR, and therefore her continued access to Chandler wealth, which could benefit Paul.
I'm just really hoping that, since the spoilers make no mention of Bianca being drugged, she and Kendall at least get to see their girl being delivered and get to hold her and gush over her for a little bit. Then Miranda goes into the hospital nursery, Paul steals her and replaces with a dead baby into the crib, whatever. With Kinks already being robbed of the first few months with Miranda, I'd like to at least see them enjoy her birth. Give 'em one little bone, for crying out loud.

I ignored Gryan and Maria/Edmund, so today was all about the goings on at the shower for me. I'm still loving any scene that has so much of the cast together. Babe is still likable whenever she's away from her own SL. Heh. It was sweet of her to go check on Erica because she knew Binks was worried. I enjoyed watching Babe deal with Erica's loopiness. I always dig it when they throw a character into a dicey situation that they are in no way prepared for. Alexa did a good job of showing how insecure Erica's nuttiness made Babe. Babe may be a crappy wife but she's a pretty good friend. (cough*Bye Mags!*cough)
Did Lena and Maggie buy the same present or something? Or was Maggie just being a freak as usual? Marian (sp?) was funny with the lip thing. I forgot that I like her, especially when she was making fun of Mia. Hee! Liza was sweet. Simone was pretty. I still don't like Krystal. Speaking of liking, I may like the new Bobby. He can act. I'm not sure I care about him and Anita but I tentatively like them both. For now. Now to the important stuff...
Kinks! Oh, praise Pervy, the Kinks is outta control, y'all. They were at their most couple-y today. Kendall was so spouse-like today. Well, more than usual, anyway. When Kendall poured herself into the chair with Bianca and they started cooing their forbidden love at each other..... Wow, just wow. Plus, how freakin' cute was Kendall puppy-eyeing Binky into letting her get a dog? ('cause that dog's for Kendall, you know.) Eeeeeeeeee! Cutest. Thing. Ever. Then, the schmoopy/flirty Lamaze talk. Sigh......Kinks.

I think Naggie gave Bianca the same gift or something similar to what Lena gave her..except Naggie was embarrassed and acted stange cuz her blanket stunk like shit and Bianca threw it down real quick. Okay, I so maybe I made up that last part...whatever.
I really can't believe that Babe the patron saint of "Babies are the Bee's Knees" is actually thinking over what Erica told her. Babe has been all about how babies are God's gift no matter where they come from. Remember, she didn't care about how Bianca's baby was conceived (Myrtle's squeaky love couch)...she's all about how much joy they can bring. Damn it writers, don't screw Babe up now that I'm starting to like her. Note to TPTB: Keep Babe away from the Ambiguously Gay Duo!

Hee! I may like Babe more now but the girl ain't all that bright. She certainly isn't a match for Erica and her Crazy-flakes. I think Erica just made Babe feel insecure and foolish, like maybe Babe wasn't seeing the big picture. I don't really think Babe bought into Erica's BS overall, just got all doubty for a moment. I looove Christian Campbell, unfortunately, the hair people do not. He has gorgeous skin that is being covered up with scruff ( and I do like scruff, just not on him). His hair also looks in need of washing. I remember Brian Gaskill in the role (bring back Kelsey!) so I know they are trying for the same look. I just hope this look doesn't last too long.

Kinks were so adorable today; they are definitely the best couple on the show! The baby shower was very entertaining and I loved the way Kendall and Babe were trying to protect Binks from Erica's meltdown. I really loved Kendall's gift of a little puppy for Miranda (Mr. Patches) that she will help Binks take care of; I definitely see these two spending a lot of time together after the birth. I can't wait for the Lamaze classes; the look of love on Kendall's face when Binks asked her to be her coach was great.

Maria looked really nice today. I've liked how they've quietly glammed her up a little over the past couple of months. She & Edmund still bore the Bejeezus outta me though.
I'm liking NuAnita (she wasn't too bad on SBtB) & NuBobby (I've always love CC though). I'm also tentatively liking Aidan in the story too. I'd love him much more with Kendall (of course) but since NuAnita & NuBobby can act I don't mind him interacting with them.
Christian Campbell is just so freakin HOT. And I like the scruffy look on him as opposed to Brian Gaskill who just looks dirty with it IMO.
Eden & Alicia looked ravishing in their matching shades of red today. And I am now a full fledged Kinks shipper! (I was only slightly before, but ER/AM made me see the light today.)
Gryan? SHUTUP! Do *not* pass go. Do *not* collect $200. Just shut up.
Opal looked really nice today. That shade of green really made Jill Larsen look really pretty, in a good way. Normally her fashion choices paralyze my corneas, but today was a welcome change IMO.
And after all these years it's still good to see Marian is still skanky. It's good to see some things never change!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the Kinksiest Kinks that ever Kinksed. Was that a baby shower or did it turn into Kendall and Bianca's wedding shower towards the end there? Complete with the bridal shower ribbon hat (gotta love when they throw in the random Mia is a ditz stuff). Those two are so in love. And Kendall is so moving into that house. And Mimo? Cracked me up. And that lamaze coach thing? So should have been done down on one knee. That was a proposal, right?
Pervy aside, I despise the rest of the writers. How dare they make my brain come up with the thought that Bianca should just beg Krystal to adopt her and get the hell away from Erica. Say what you will about Krystal, but at least Babe doesn't have to spend her pregnancy stressing out about keeping her mommy happy.

Having said that, I'll continue to give LaLucci the maddest props that ever propped for the last month or so of fabulous acting. Babe and Krystal deserve an award, too, for trying to keep Bianca calm and happy.

Well, after getting a good look at Bobby/Anita today, I kind of like their dynamic. I liked when he mentioned that they'd met too young, and even though I can already guess what went wrong in their marriage, for now I'm actually interested to hear it anyway. But Bobby, if you're trying to get your wife to feel kindly towards you, perhaps you should wear your wedding ring. Just a thought. And while I love Aidan, he needs to watch his shining knight act and perhaps not jump head-first into every situation he sees.
Shut up, Erica. First, get it through your thick skull that Bianca does not react to situations the same way that you do. The sad thing is, Erica knows that deep down inside, and when she admits it, it won't improve matters, it'll actually make her angrier at Bianca, because then she will feel that Bianca being able to love her own baby is essentially a criticism of Erica for how she feels/felt towards Kendall. And tomorrow she's whining to David, who is Bianca's doctor and therefore bound by patient-doctor confidentiality. What, does she think David should have held Bianca down and forcibly done an abortion? In advance of tomorrow's scenes, shut the fuck UP, Erica. I felt sorry for poor Babe, getting all deflated, and for once I actually liked how Krystal tried to reassure her. I also liked the nice bit later where Babe looked at Krystal for advice on what to tell Bianca and Krystal mouthed "No." The last thing Bianca needed to hear was all that.
On to the best part, and I'm sure y'all know what I'm going to gush about. Kinks. Oh, the whole Pervy team was working today, from the director to the actresses. Kendall and Bianca aren't being discreet at all. Kendall did restrain herself from grabbing Bianca's rack, points to her for that. And they didn't actually kiss on the couch--boy, Kinks sure do have a couch theme going on, don't they? But otherwise, they were right out there for everyone to see, except no one can say anything because they're sisters. Snerk. I was spoiled for the "puppy dog" line--they were too damn cute during all that, and I totally called Kendall being the one who will spoil Miranda like crazy--and had been EEEEEEEEEEing in expectation, but my east coast friend didn't mention that was merely the beginning. Sofa cuddling and passionate declarations of love following? Hee. I also knew that Bianca was going to ask Kendall to be her lamaze partner, but I didn't know that she was also going to officially ask Kendall to be Miranda's second mother. In front of everyone. Because come on, that's exactly what she did. (Kendall need have NO worries about her place in Bianca and Miranda's lives.)
And then the very end--the first thing I thought when I saw Kendall's red jacket was, "Damn, that looks hot on her," and then, "That's way too nice of a jacket for Kendall to have bought herself." Either Bianca bought her girlfister that jacket, or Kendall borrowed it from Bianca's closet after one of their brainstorming sessions. My east coast friend had commented to me after seeing the ep herself that Kinks needed to get a room. Well, that's just what they went off to do. Babe, you poor, sweet, dense girl. Kendall is not taking Bianca home to nap. Bwah! Off you two Pervy sisters go to brainstorm.
Oh, this just MIGHT be my favorite Kinks ep yet. It's definitely at the top. The subtext is so far behind, it's a distant memory. We got everything except a textual acknowledgment that they're doing it, and AMC came about a hair away from that. Ah, Kinks. Love. You. I can't wait to get home tonight and rewatch them practically doing it on Adam's sofa. Hee.

I have my moments of liking her, like briefly today. Krystal was sweet and reassuring to Babe and that was nice. I think my problem is that everything I don't like about Babe, seems to have been taught to her by her mother. So while I think in some ways Krystal is a good mother (she really does take care of Babe and supports her emotionally), I don't think Babe would have so many problems if Krystal hadn't raised her to be slutty to combat living in a 'man's world'. That bugs.
Eek, I forgot to mention earlier that Opal was great today. So damn sweet.

Hee! I had to watch the couch part again just to make sure I didn't imagine it. That was the gayest thing I've ever seen. The part where Kinks are seeing Simone and the Dingbat out killed me. They were just standing there, with Kendall's arm thrown around Binks, just being so damn couple-y. Dude, Binky was sure getting her flirt on when she asked Kendall to be her coach. *rowr* She even did the Flirty Head Tilt! Eeeeeeeee! The Kinks today was just fabulous. Top two, at least. Mmm-hmm.
Oh, for those not watching till later, keep an eye on Alicia when she's walking off to get cake. She does this crazy ass grin behind Eden's back that had me rolling. Alicia was just hilarious today.

I think my problem is that everything I don't like about Babe, seems to have been taught to her by her mother.
Word, that's been my problem all along too. But I did like Krystal today. Like Babe, Krystal's own SLs cast her in such a unpleasant light, and when she actually gets to do something outside that, her more likable qualities come to the fore. There's nothing wrong with the actress; Bobbie Eakes can act.
How dare they make my brain come up with the thought that Bianca should just beg Krystal to adopt her and get the hell away from Erica.
Eek, I forgot to mention earlier that Opal was great today. So damn sweet.
There's your solution,
KerleyQ. Bianca needs to ask Opal to adopt her, not Krystal. I loved when Opal told Bianca that she had every right to name her daughter after Mona. Bianca is far too focused on worrying about Erica, though it's understandable how that became ingrained in her because, as she commented today, whenever she lets herself stop worrying for one freaking minute, something happens. And technically, she's right to worry--she has no idea what Erica said to Babe, but that plus all Erica's other behavior shows that Erica's indeed skating close to the edge--but at the same time, it sucks because she should be able to just enjoy her pregnancy. Props to Kendall and Opal both for how they handled it, and Krystal for stopping Babe. Maybe Bianca should hear about what Erica said, but not at her own baby shower. And Kendall's behavior in particular makes it clear that while she loves and worries about her mom too, Bianca comes first. Kendall knows Erica has reason to be upset because of the lies and all, and is willing to give her mother the time to process all this, but she draws the line where Bianca is concerned. The day Erica starts shrieking at Bianca for having this baby, she's going to find herself being tossed off the balcony by Kendall, and won't that be a happy day?
Mimo. Hee. Loved Bianca's response of "You're off the nickname committee." I found it amusing Kendall got in that little comment about how Bianca's name choice meant Kendallette wasn't an option. And why was I not surprised to hear Kendall extolling the "unconditional love" thing as an argument for getting a puppy? Hee. Bianca's right about the whole puppy-dog eyes thing, and I was thinking how she's a total goner when Mimo's born. Just look at the genes--Bianca's doe eyes, Kendall's large green expressive ones, heck, even the Asscicle could work puppy-dog eyes.
The Kinks today was just fabulous. Top two, at least. Mmm-hmm.
Just to clarify, it's definitely #1 for me. I'm just undecided about whether the Kinksday ep and/or the briefing room ep are tied for first place with it. I'll have to rewatch once or twice or *cough*eighty times*cough* to make a final decision, I was so on Kinks overload today that I missed bunches. There is not an atom of space between Kendall and Bianca and they're declaring their love and everything in front of nearly every woman in PV. Heh. Not that the puppy-dog-eyes line wasn't insanely suggestive in itself...

I found exactly one thing amusing about the Ryan/Greenlee scenes today--the part where she said that one of her conditions was that they go to snooty shops. Because Ryan? Greenlee doesn't do outlet malls. You dumbass.
Jeez, I knew there was such a Kinks overload today that I was actually missing some details that ordinarily I'd never miss, but I'm still shocked at how much Kinks goodness there was. Bianca subtly handshagging Kendall's hand on her belly in front of Opal. A really hysterical bit when Kendall said that Mimo was saying "Show me the gifts!" and the camera cuts to the opposite angle and we see that Kendall is pointing at...Bianca's cleavage. BWAH! Yes, Kendall, Bianca's breasts are definitely gifts. And nice strategic position, too, Kendall, sitting on the sofa's arm so that you can look down Bianca's cleavage continually--there was a niiiiice shot of Bianca's cleavage when she bent over to put down a box, and that's the view Kendall had the entire time sitting on the arm. Heh. I certainly heard their declarations of love the first time through, but on the rewatch I realized there were two straight rounds of declarations of love, which I've never heard of before. "I love you, Bianca," "I love YOU, Kendall," "I love YOU, Bianca," "I love YOU, Kendall". Good lord. I'd say get a room, but I know they took care of all that sexual tension when they left the Chandler mansion for a nap. And I'd been EEEEEEEEEing over the hug on the sofa enough that I'd missed the import of Kendall's comment afterwards, "The whole family"--yeah, there we have it, confirmation once again of KinksMommies plus baby plus Mr. Patches. Whole family indeed. The best part about the "the whole family" line is that I think Alicia and Eden actually break character and start laughing, as themselves, because the whole thing is just so stuffed with SisYay and it's cracking them up. It wasn't that funny a line--they were laughing way too hard for it to be Bianca and Kendall, not Alicia and Eden. They're just loving playing this up. Ah, Kinks. Today was glorious.
On a darker note (sorry), was anyone else looking at the presents Bianca got and mentally trying to decide which one(s) Bianca will destroy in a grief-stricken rage? I don't know, I loved seeing all the presents that Bianca's closest loved ones got her, but some of them had a feel of "cannon fodder" about them, and Bianca's got a history of destroying shit when she's upset. I bet myself ten bucks that the baby monitor and Myrtle's music box end up smashed into a zillion pieces.
Because I don't like ending on a grim note, Mystic0, you're right, the dog is totally for Kendall. She was just way too excited about the whole idea; Kinks will be getting that dog long before Mimo can actually pick one out for herself. That was too cute. I actually wondered if maybe it was a bit of a tactic on Kendall's part to give herself a reason to be around Bianca's home all the time--walking the dog and so on. She needn't have worried, Bianca made it so clear later she wants Kendall to be around practically 24/7 as Miranda grows up. Yeah, it did turn from a baby shower into a wedding shower. Hee. It's nice to have some happy episodes (Erica's freak turn aside).

Finding Mimo? ::snerk:: Oh, that just made my evening right there. I know we love Olga, but I'm feeling the need to go sit in the corner and cry because of Keely Hawes being off the show. ::sniff:: But still, yea! Olga.
Does anyone here know when the new Paul Cramer will begin? I don't want to see the other one on my screen anywhere. Also Kelly lost her baby today. So I'm not sure how all of this is going to fit together
Eden was really working the flip last night. She looks cute in 60's garb. Not to mention Pissed!Off!Eden is sexy as all get out!

And Kendall's behavior in particular makes it clear that while she loves and worries about her mom too, Bianca comes first.
Bwa! No further comments, just.. hee!
It's days like these that I fear I may explode before I finally get to see the show the following day. I need my Kinks fix, and I need it now! I also can't wait to see more of Bobby. Christian Campbell is adorable (though, yes, the hair could definitely use some work).
Was it here that I read that TPTB are planning a Bobby/Greenlee hookup in the future? Please be true! Greenlee desperately needs to get away from Ryan. [shallow]And, gah, imagine the collective pretty those two would bring![/shallow]Oh, for those not watching till later, keep an eye on Alicia when she's walking off to get cake. She does this crazy ass grin behind Eden's back that had me rolling.
One benefit to watching late -- having fun stuff pointed out! Thanks for that,
Mystic. I'll be sure to watch for it!
regis - Given your rage, I assume you don't get Soap Net? I record the show on my DVR every day, so I could pull it off of there and onto a tape for you tomorrow, if you're still all heartbroken about missing the Kinks goodness. Let me know if you're interested.

Does anyone here know when the new Paul Cramer will begin?
I read somewhere that Brock Cuchna's last episode is March 10th. David Tom should start immediately afterwards. Oh, and it was weird seeing an AMC set on OLTL today. Is that the first time that one of the soaps has had a scene that's taking place in the town of the other soap?
Lots of good Christian Campbell for you,
mirashima, between him and Kinks you'll be happy with today's ep.
Oh, and from way back--Naggie did get basically the same present as Lena (warm clothing for the baby), only it seemed to be of poorer quality, which makes sense since Lena actually works for a living, in a high-powered job that pays well. I loved the smirk from Lena at that point, all "Nyah nyah I can give Bianca the best and you can't!"

Someone on the L Word board brought up an actress named Jodhi May and it reminded me of a movie she was in called Sister My Sister. Its a movie about two sisters who end up falling in love with each other due to several circumstances...one being their childhood. Ah...Kinks My Kinks.
They also team up and murder a few folks, woman and her daughter, I think.
I saw the god awful promo for the
baby switch SL. I think this has to be one of the worst ideas in daytime history.
What I'm going hate even more about the SL is that Bianca is involved by default. We're going to have watch Bianca grieve for her baby girl knowing the only reason she is suffering is because the stupid hack McTrash needed to involve Bianca's baby in the baby switcheroo simply because she didn't feel that people would care enough about Babe's baby. I was thinking about the conversation Erica and Babe had.
Suppose Babe finds out her baby is actually Bianca's baby, I wonder if her conversation with Erica will affect her decision to give the baby back to Bianca. I can see her talking herself into not telling Bianca, because of all the things Erica said about Bianca seeing her rapist everytime she looked at the baby. And we can call it "Finding MiMo"?
Heehee!
I loved the smirk from Lena at that point, all "Nyah nyah I can give Bianca the best and you can't!"
Heh. I loved that too.

I am watching soapnet now. I was surprised to see Christian Campbell as the new Bobby. I like him in most of the stuff he's been in. I think Natalia's acting has improved tons since the first season of Saved by The Bell the new class. She was wretched back then. She delivered all her lines without any emotion at all. I guess I will have to see more of them together to have an opinion.

SFHagood, I know that Olga's posts made it seem as if Keeley might be on her way out, but she's not, she's really not. Maybe Olga really meant to say "Zoe" as opposed to "Keeley" because the character who's sorta kinda maybe leaving is Tom. Keeley is on MI-5, she's not leaving, I don't know what the heck Olga was thinking when she wrote that.
And wow, the server is so fast! I wish it had keys.

Is that the movie about the sisters who are maids in a house and murder their employers?
Kinks may very well turn into murderers when they find out about Kelly and Paul.ABC didn't run the promo during OLTL, and I'm not recording GH--does anyone want to describe the promo (in spoiler tags)?
jenmarie, I was wondering the same thing briefly about Erica and Babe's conversation. But 1) I agree with
Mystic0 that I don't think Erica planted lasting doubt in Babe's mind, she just made Babe feel a little insecure because Babe knows she isn't that bright and that she might've missed the big picture somehow, and 2)
I cannot imagine that Babe is going to be able to look at Bianca and somehow delude herself into thinking that Bianca's still better off thinking her baby's dead. Eden already said these were the toughest scenes of her career, so Bianca's got to be beyond wrecked.
I'm really much more worried about Krystal than I am Babe. If she was tricked into thinking that Babe's baby is dead, I could see her going along with a baby switch. Erica's another X factor too.
Just to torture myself, I stopped wondering so much about how the Bianca portion of the baby-switch goes down and started wondering how Bianca and Kendall find out. Does Joe or David break the news to Kendall in the hall first, and then Kendall tells Bianca, or do Kinks hear the news together? I could see it being the first way, so that Alicia and Eden each get a big "first reaction" scene without taking away from each other's first reaction. Either way, it's going to be beyond brutal, but the thought of Kendall having to tell Bianca? Rips my heart out.

Sorry, mirashima, I should just watch today's ep again, huh? I'm thinking, to survive Eden and Alicia's performances, either Prozac or just keep reminding ourselves that Kinks is going to get their lovechild back eventually. If we die of broken hearts, we wouldn't get to see the reunion or Kinks kicking the shit out of Paul and Kelly and anyone else involved in the switch...

Is that the movie about the sisters who are maids in a house and murder their employers?
Yep, that's the one.
BK, I'll do the best I can to describe the promo.
It was a black screen, with white words flashing on it. Sorry, I don't really remember the words, they were stuff relating to babies and lies .You can hear echoes of Bianca, Babe and Kelly's voices, sort of blending together. I think there are other voices in there, like Kendall, Krystal and Paul's voices but I can't be sure. Then the words All My Children and One Life To Live, and something about a big event coming to ABC on March 23. It's actually a creepy promo, and kind of disturbing.
I was thinking about
Erica's possible involvement in the baby switch. I'm beginning to think that possibly she doesn't actively participate in Paul's stealing of Miranda. However, maybe she witnesses Paul switching the dead baby for Miranda, and doesn't say anything, because she thinks it's for the best.

Chiming in late on the baby shower scene with nothing really to add since all the squeeing over Kinks was done already. One amusing thing I noticed that hadn't yet been overanalyzed (I think. I may have missed it in the kajillion pages I waded through) was in the scene right after Bianca was trying to pump Boobe for info on Erica. Alicia is next to Eden and picks up a baby toy but it starts chiming a tune while Eden is talking. Alicia makes an 'oops' face and sticks it behind her back while Bobbie Eakes is behind her, snickering.

The day Erica starts shrieking at Bianca for having this baby, she's going to find herself being tossed off the balcony by Kendall, and won't that be a happy day?
Yes, it will.
Finding Mimo? Priceless.
Erica? Goddamn you. Although I do have to say that if I'd been at that baby shower, I would've been with Erica in the corner, downing champagne in a way this world has never seen. I really found the Two Mommies!Kinks entertaining, but I was so ready for the shower to end.
I am so freaking pissed that they're doing this goddamned baby switch. Why can't Kinks be happy with their love child? Damn this show to hell, I'm probably going to cry like a teensy child. OT: Does anyone here watch Third Watch? Because on Friday the guy playing Bosco's brother was screeching like a harpy. It was back and forth with Bosco's manly voice, and then his brother's screeching, and I really was about to have to cover my ears. I was like, dude, you sound like Ryan, but then this guy actually went up OCTAVES above what I have heard Cameron Mathison do. So it could be worse, believe it or not.

I looove Christian Campbell, unfortunately, the hair people do not.
I'm not familiar with him from anything else, so my only opinion on him right now is that he has bad hair. Very, very bad hair. Beyond that he reminds me of the first Ned on GH, can't remember the actor's name.
You know how much I hate being the voice of dissent...ahem...but, for me, the shower has been one long, boring glimpse into hell.
I'm right there with you,
CKD. That could have something to do with the fact that I had to suffer through a real life baby shower last weekend. ;)

Should I feel weird that so many of us have seen Sister My Sister? Nah...
Yo, Black Knight , I agree that dog was so for Kendall. I also got a vibe of Kendall looking for excuses to be over at Bianca's crib 24/7. Not that Kendall needs excuses since Bianca's talking like Kendall will physically be with her for 2 A.M. feedings. I sorta thought that the writers were trying to nod to the fact that Kendall wants to be a part of Bianca's little family desperately, but her insecurities keep whispering in her ear that she'll have to force her way in, instead of being invited. I think that's why Kendall's missing all the evidence Bianca's throwing at her that she already *is* a part of it (hell she's 1/3 of Bianca's new family structure), Kendall's still trying to beat down an open door. Maybe the Lamaze thing will get it through Kendall's iron-plated noggin that she's needed and wanted, and Bianca's not just waiting for a reason to kick her out on her ass the second she's not needed (unlike Erica). I love Kendall's insecurities, by the way. They are what make her so very Kendall.
Now, I must curse your name, Black Knight. Damn you! When I saw Myrtle's present, I was thinking that Bianca would end up smashing it after Mimo 'dies', but I had convinced myself I was just being morbid! But you confirmed it. (weeps) To further spiral into a black and endless depression, I totally think that Kendall will be told about Mimo in the hall and have to go tell her glowing, happy, besotted with maternal love girlfister that their lovechild is dead. And I will fall over dead immediately if it goes down like that. I barely made it through Voldemort, and if Eden's running around now exhausted and looking like hell mumbling about how these were the hardest scenes she's ever done? I won't be able to take it, man. Plus, Bianca's freakin' bad enough but I'll have to see Kendall in pain too! That's just cruel. The only thing TPTB can do to make it up to me a little, is to have a foolish Erica come to Bianca's hospital room to show her "sympathy" and Bianca goes abso-freakin'-lutely postal on Erica's ass. After all, Bianca's baby just died and Erica has been very vocal about wanting Mimo dead since the beginning. PsychoMotherBitchslapping!Bianca needs to make an appearance. Oh, yes...
Lalalalalalalalala! Moving along...... Thanks, random, for the set notes. I've been meaning to tell ya that.

Oh, thanks
kariyaki! I caught that bit, but didn't understand why Alicia was doing it. I'd figured that she was just being cute some more.
Heh. It's so Kendall, and gotta love her for it. I liked it in particular because it was a nice bit of continuity from her conversations with David where she was worried about Bianca not needing her anymore and so on. That's the mindframe in which she went out and got her present for the baby shower. But I think Bianca telling Kendall later on that she wants Kendall to be her lamaze partner, and help her out with the 2 a.m. feedings and pretty much
everything throughout Mimo's growing-up years, should go a looooooooong way towards reassuring Kendall. The look on Kendall's face when she realized Bianca was asking her to be her lamaze partner just killed me--she's so shocked and overwhelmed and hopeful. Beautiful. I liked that she admitted that she'd wanted it.
Of course, Mimo's "death" is going to throw a wrench in the KinksMommies plans, but Bianca will need a lot of comforting. For the short-term, at least, Kendall will still feel needed.
Word to an Erica bitch-slapping administered by Bianca being a little something that TIIC can do to make this up to us. Then a bloody Erica can stagger outside and whine to Kendall and get another bitch-slapping. The other thing that I want, as I've said before, is for Bianca and Kendall to at least get to see and hold their girl first before Paul goes and steals her. Come on, McTrash, throw us some bones here.
It's morbid of us to keep coming up with the scenarios of grief-stricken Kinks destroying shit, crying, learning of Miranda's "death" and so on--but on the other hand, at least it prepares us. Sorta. Silver lining is that this should at least give Alicia the ep that she needs to finally make it into the final five in next year's Emmys. The necessary ingredients will all be there this time--heavy-duty scenes with Eden, her best acting partner, but a real showcase ep with more screentime and likely better dialogue than the clinic episode. It's probably going to be Eden's submission next year too.

Speculation on upcoming events (spoiler tags, just in case):
What if instead of a dead baby put in Miranda's place, there were just a missing baby? People would assume that Mimo has been kidnapped. People could also assume that Erica has something to do with it. According to spoilers, Jack is already pretty worried about Erica and Bobby going to Philadelphia. He might think she planned some of this. I would not be surprised if Erica is forced to "prove" she had nothing to do with this baby switch thing. Just my 2 cents ... I am probably way off.
