Grinaldi, it's speculation, but Frons did say that there were two women pregnant at the same time (AFAIK they're not, but this is Frons) and that we could expect a shocking, amazing twist (uh huh). That screams baby switch. Or, perhaps the shocking, amazing twist is that there will be no baby switch. I'd certainly find that shocking and amazing, given all the anvils.


Given likely audience reaction if Erica is involved, I can't see it going on all that long. I'd guess that the truth would come out by May sweeps, just in time to destroy another Jerica wedding. Heh.


I'm now wondering if the "it" just refers to the coat that the killer--as you know, I think it's Bianca--was wearing that night. It doesn't look like, from the most recent set of flashbacks, that that coat belongs to Lena or Kendall, so her brain's just being triggered by any black coat she sees. If so, Bianca's probably got hers stashed away somewhere.


Let's face it, Boobe is Bianca's type. Fucked-up, love-starved con artist with an underlying sweetness. Binks wouldn't be down with the JR/Jamie paternity mess though because she counts JR as a friend, and they go back longer than she and Boobe do. That said, I don't think we'll see a lot of Bianca/Boobe friendship because Binks is so busy. And I can see Krystal talking Boobe into a baby switch because Boobe wants to keep JR, and then Boobe end up confessing the truth later out of guilt.

I'm firmly in denial, I admit, about the gender of Bling Bling, but I'm sticking with my theory that Boobe and Bianca are both right about the genders of the babies they're carrying. Bianca's said a couple of times recently that she knows that there is a possibility her baby is not a girl, so it's not like she's blind to that. I could see her initially accepting that her stillborn baby was a boy, but then starting to wonder if maybe there was a baby switch because she was just so certain that she was carrying a girl. Yeah, denial.

Hey Black Knight I just wanted to say that the character of Lena was really never in love with any other character besides Bianca, thus the chemistry. Lena was using Michael and Boyd and thats the way Olga played it. I have seen Olga in a couple other roles and she can bring the sizzle with just about anyone.
AMC is blessed with truly talented actresses......besides Olga, there is Rebecca (who IMO is really doing a great job in the mineshaft) Alicia (who really started clicking with this s/l) Eden, Julia etc. I just don't understand why we get to see so little of Olga, I think she's truly talented!!!!

I got hold of the Charlie's Angels SID after work today, and in the roundup there's a question about which castmate the respondents would like to change places with for a day. Alicia picks Alexa, because Alexa's character is much like Kendall when she first arrived, sassy and troublemaking (I don't see how Kendall's changed from this), because Alexa gets to work with David Canary a lot, and because Alexa gets to kiss on JR a lot. Sigh. What is with Kenlee and their horrible taste in men? I will concede that JY is better than Bachelor Bob, but still nowhere near worthy of Luscious.

As for Ryan, during today's Ryan/Bianca scenes, this isn't the first time I've noticed it, but it's the first time I'm commenting on it--thank GOD Bianca is gay and not bisexual, because otherwise AMC would totally be hooking her up with Ryan and making Kinks compete against each other for him. Blech.

Interesting moment when Ryan told Bianca that he and Kendall had promised JR that he could run Chandler. I didn't pick it up the first time because I was too busy groaning over the sentiment that Bianca was expressing (why does everyone apparently think it's a great idea for JR to be running Chandler? Please), but she was quite forceful about what she wanted and then did a cute little backtracking moment. Frankenbrow caught it too. I don't think she's going to be overwhelmed for long by the size of the estate, or leaving it entirely in the hands of an administrator. Good.

I already commented that Alexa is working the hookup angle a bit, but upon my rewatch I started counting, and then lost count of, how many times she put her hand up by her rack when she was supposed to be rubbing her belly. Yup, Boobe's always calling attention to her boobs whenever she's around Bianca. Heh.

Once again, you keep Babe away from the BroYay, and she's fine. Alexa is totally working the "hey I could swing that way" angle with Eden. I think everyone works that angle with Eden.

Greenlee's subconscious should really do a wardrobe makeover on Kendall when she gets out of the well.

For Kendall, that's pretty good, and I'm relieved because I've got the feeling that this particular show day is going to be a veeeeeeeeery long day. I'm enjoying it too, not just for its wonderful FF serendipity, but because in terms of backstage politics, Eva is the one actress outside of the Big Three of Alicia/Rebecca/Eden that AMC might actually pair CamMath with, freeing up both Kendall and Greenlee for better men. If JP does get written off the show, the odds are better for a Maria/Ryan pairing.

Are we doing the unpopular opinions thing still? If so, I have to say I have grown to really like Juan Pablo, especially since he's been ignoring Ryan. And - this freaked me out - I like Maria when she's in Doctor mode. I'd be all for a Maria/JP pairing and I wouldn't even fast forward!

Oh, and I'm all for a Brooke/Liza pairing, too, but that's never going to happen. Sniff.

She so is doing that! Funny. I would chalk it up to the power of the incredible rack ... but Alexa seems to be playing it as ... "I have an incredible rack too! I agree. Plus, of course, the SL she's in sucks. It's not that characters can't do rotten shit and not be likable and rootworthy anyway, but to bring a character on who immediately does really questionable stuff before we even get to know and care about her, on the other hand, is a different story. You've got to establish audience affection first. (Bad girls are something else altogether; I think we're supposed to see Boobe as a fundamentally good, sweet person who's made some big mistakes, not as a fun bad girl. Bad girls generally get their viewer affection by amusingly snarking on other characters as they tear up shit.)

The other reason the Boobe/Bianca scenes work, besides Eden and Alexa's rapport, is that we get to see Boobe as a person. Right now, Boobe/Bianca scenes aren't about plot plot plot. They flesh her out and let me see why JR and Jamie actually fell in love with her in the first place and why she'd be cool to spend some time with, even if she's a little dense. She has no ulterior motives with Bianca and so I can actually see that, outside of the mess she's found herself in, she's actually a very sweet, appealing, goodhearted friend. Then, of course, you stick Boobe back with JR and Jamie, I remember that they're asses, and all the air goes out of her. Sigh.


Heh. She needs to realize though that Bianca isn't much of a breast woman (probably because Binks recognizes few can compete with her Rack-o-SORAS, so why bother?). A nice rack is not the way to her heart. Beautiful eyes, nice overall body, and ass, OTOH, do work on Bianca. So perhaps after Boobe gives birth she'll have better luck...

Yup, the hypocrisy was amusing. I think Erica was trying very hard to restrain herself that time because for once, I think she's actually in favor of Bianca having sex. To Erica, that would indicate the rape is totally forgotten and as we all know, she just wants Voldemort gone, buried (big surprise). And so she didn't want to come down on Bianca much about it, and so limited herself to pointing out the problems Bianca'd have if she hooked up with Boobe. Her biggest concern seemed to be Adam, really. Apparently she doesn't know Adam would probably kiss Bianca's feet for taking Boobe off his hands.

And yeah, between Kendall and Lena, Bianca is very obviously not a rack girl. Lena's ahead of Kendall in that department, but not by a whole lot. But it's ok, they're both still sexy as hell.

Olga has a lovely pair. They are perfectly proportioned for her body. *sigh* They should put her in v-necks more often. I cannot believe how they miss the opportunities to show those off. She also has this cute little high butt that still manages to be remarkably feminine looking.

Oddly enough, I laughed out loud when I saw it and then mentally high-fived The Punisher for continuing to outdo himself day after day. That thing was horrid.

I loved Simone's apology to Kendall. I totally bought it and TI always manages to give Simone so much heart. Mia's apology, on the other hand? I think she was supposed to be going for an "I'm uncomfortable because I know I was a major bitch and there's no way on earth you should ever forgive me" vibe, but instead I got a "Damn Simone told me we both have to apologize, and maybe if I do this, Aidan will use me as a poor, poor pretend Kendall and take me to bed again" vibe.

And, Maria, Edmund? Just remember, the most important thing you can do at a time like this is lie to each other, go behind each other's backs, and hide things from each other.

Alicia, as usual, kicked ass. I don't know whether to believe what she testified was the truth or not. Not about cleaning up or moving the body (I know we're not getting the whole truth about that), but about her loading the gun and running over after she heard a shot. Now we're supposed to think it was Reggie, and not Boyd, that helped Kendall move Mikey and dump him in the warehouse? I'm thinking that's just end of the ep misdirection and it was still Boyd, but Reggie definitely knows something.

I've always had that problem with singular vs. plural verb usage when referencing shipper names. I think the beauty of it is that technically, both ways are correct.

Okay, today was done by one of the BAD daily writers. Nearly everything Erica said annoyed me. Ryan of all people is the one person she's not upset at for not telling her about the pregnancy? And she manages to make her betrayal of Chris--not that I give a shit about him--all about herself, too. And then being all "oh, so Kendall betrayed you, Ryan"...gahhh. Whatever. This was not a well-written day for her. Enough with the Ryan-fluffing. Poor Susan.

And Ryan? Bianca explained Kendall to you. Why is it that Bianca can understand Kendall perfectly, and explain her in great detail to Ryan, and he still doesn't get it? Kendall's a complex person; she's not incomprehensible. Whatever.

Boobe should never wear that shade of yellow, ever (I'm not certain anyone should ever wear that shade of yellow, actually). I think I let out a shriek when she first bounced on my screen.

JR thinks his father needs protecting? He thinks he can help his father? Please. This is Adam Chandler. I had to snicker when Adam told JR he was going to change before going to court. What, from the suit he was wearing to another suit? Okay.

Alan's all recovered from his heart attack? I didn't realize recovery was so quick and easy. He seems to have lost a lot of his brain cells in his heart attack, though. The identity of Kendall's co-conspirator, while pertinent, is not exactly the issue at the heart of her trial, either. You're supposed to be proving her guilt in the murder, Alan.

It's amusing that Kendall's story today, while likely much closer to the truth than her previous story, sounded less convincing. So, the $64,000 question here is, did she see the killer run out, or did Mikey tell her before he died? It seems very unlikely to me that he would've just said "somebody". I actually thought the most affecting part of Alicia's work today was when she very uncertainly walked to the stand, constantly glancing at the jury. I felt so sorry for Kendall there.

Simone's apology was beautiful and heartfelt, and reminded me once again why I really like her. Mia--eh. I was annoyed Kendall let Mia off the hook so easily--Simone didn't do that much to her--but I decided that it was because she had so few of her supporters in the courtroom at that point. Bianca's stuck in the hospital, Erica, Aidan, Ryan, Boyd, and Reggie all hadn't shown up yet. Lena seems to only go to court when she knows that Bianca is going to be there.

I'm reserving judgment on the new Anita. She shows spark, but I'm not certain of her acting ability. This episode wasn't enough for me to figure out whether she's a little one-note or whether it was just her material. I'm cautiously optimistic. I will admit I saw some chemistry between her and Aidan, though I'm still a Kaidan shipper.

I wasn't expecting Reggie at the end. Awww. I love those crazy siblings. Now just get Bianca out of the hospital so that she can complete the set (of the siblings that actually like each other and aren't autistic, that is).

OT - That's just the thing: is/are Kinks a singular entity? Since it's understood we mean Kendall and Binks, then one could argue it's not - hence the dilemma.

Grammatically speaking, there is a case to be made for both, depending on whether you think Kenlee is a collective noun (rather like a singular entity), thus taking the singular verb, or a group of people.

It's a lot like nouns like jury, class, club, committee, school, staff, team etc. etc which can be considered both singular and plural depending on how one uses them - and now we're back at the beginning. /OT

He was giving his pithy commentary about all things soap couple-y, along with those two morons Lisa and Ty (I'm sorry but I get so annoyed at hosts who just love every contrived couple the show shoves together- case in point-Ty said Sonny and Sam are his new favorite couple. Excuse me while I gag myself with every utensil I can find.)

Anywho, I missed most of the AMC segment, but I caught the tail end where they were worshipping at the altar of Bobbie Eakes and Tad and Krystal. And while I don't mind BE, I just do not for the life of me understand teh appear of that walking STD. Just. Do. Not. Get. It. That coupled with Carolyn Hinsey's contued drooling over Tad and Krystal has just left me scratching my head. Every press source is totally pimping this couple from hell. What the fuck for? Krystal has not won a single poll about "Who should Tad be with?" For fuck's sake she comes in behind Brooke, with Liza or Simone winning (usually by a close margin)

As long as we're talking about grammar as relates to soaps, my pet peeve is when either of Erica's daughters are referred to as "oldest" or "youngest". She only has two daughters (that we know of, pending any future soap reveal that Greenlee is also one of Erica's daughters), so the correct terms are "older" and "younger". Heh.

Topic? Mercifully, I think Boobe/Krystal only had what, two or three relatively short scenes together. Krystal's a horrible mother. Boobe tells her about stupidly stringing Paul along while he was drunk, and Krystal's reaction is just, "I'll breathe a huge sigh of relief when this is all over." You're a big help, Krystal. Granted, it'd be completely hypocritical of her to lecture Boobe, but still. Krystal, your daughter's whoring herself out. You helped teach her those patterns. Teach her some self-esteem or something.

Yes, I care about Boobe again for the moment. It's always a residual effect after she has scenes with Bianca.

Word. My interest in Erica's mind frame screeched to a halt when it hit a wall of Ryan fluffing. In soap land fluffing is an irritant I've grown used to, but today.......egads. I couldn't even follow Erica's 'logic'. Bah.



Dammit, yes! I can't believe Kendall would shimmy this far out on a limb for an unknown someone. No freakin' way. Despite being self-destructive, Kendall's got a healthy sense of self-preservation too. No way in hell would she put herself in the line of fire 'cept to protect the big two in her life, Erica or Bianca. She had to be omitting some details.



Hee! They got me with that too. Boyfriend popped up outta nowhere. Could Kendall and Reggie be in cahoots about some aspect of the murder cover-up and Boyd involved in another? I'm getting that Kendall did something with Boyd and Reggie, but did Boyd and Reggie work together? Cripes, I just want to know what everyone's involvement was. Dammit. Adam had to meet up with Erica during her black out phase to end up with the Mikey's gun. I have no idea what Adam and Palmer did, other than it obviously got Adam shot. Which could have happened by Erica hallucinating and shooting Adam by mistake. He (or maybe Palmer) could've gotten the gun away from her after that. I'm guessing we've seen all of David's involvement (maybe). Hmph. Hell, I don't know!

Exactly. Kendall either saw the killer with her own eyes, and it was Bianca, or Mikey told her it was Bianca before he died (and if it came from Mikey, who knows if he was telling her the truth?) Now, Kendall might've done all this on the chance that it was either Erica or Bianca (even though for all she knew, then, they could've been sitting at home surrounded by bodyguards and loved ones). But it's obvious she doesn't believe the killer is Erica, which means she saw or heard something that points to Bianca. I mean, if one had to try to guess between Erica and Bianca with nothing to go on other than the fact they both had motive, the edge would go to Erica, since she's got the prior history.

I could buy that Erica shot Adam by accident. There are a couple of bloodstains that are unaccounted for by Kendall's account of where she found Mikey dying (if she was telling the truth). When Kendall got back from Vegas, she was surprised by some sort of stain that was behind the couch. And Bianca thought she spotted some blood on the wall that has the window, when she and Erica were going through the place a few weeks ago.

Mara, on the mailing front what's been the biggest COUPLE request this week?
<soapoperamod> Lena/Bianca has been the biggest couple request.

<soapoperamod> Tomy is still a part of the AMC cast as far as I know.
<soapoperamod> I don't think Greenlee/Juan Pablo is going to happen.

Is Bianca going to move to a bigger place soon? I can see her and Kendall moving in together.
<soapoperamod> Bianca's living arrangements will come up in story very soon on-screen.

<soapoperamod> I think the plans to bring on Ryan's relative have been scrapped, but I can't confirm that.

<soapoperamod> Erica will really be fighting to be there for Bianca, but she will be struggling against her own demons, ghosts from her own past.

<soapoperamod> Up through what I've read, Erica's drinking hasn't spun out of control or anything, but she hasn't stopped drinking, either.
