I caught up with last week's this weekend. How, how could Greenlee be that self-involved? If nothing else, she should realize (with the exception of Ryan, and maybe Aidan who's still madly in love with Kendall) that most of the men defending Kendall - say Jack and David, are pretty damned smart, and maybe, just maybe, know a little bit more than she does about this whole murder trial, whipping up a defense thing.

Then I remember that Greenlee came on as a spoiled brat (granted she was still a welcome breath of air compared to saintly Rebecca) and didn't really show any compassion or love until she and Leo started to become more than f*** buddies.

I hated her on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday.

Did like that Erica called Kendall a Kane woman though.

The kid who plays Reggie continues to grow as an actor. Really like him.

Aidan is still hotter than ever. Loved that little leather jacket. Dump Mia. Dump her now! Dump her for good. Kaidan for evuuuur!

What I liked about the Binks/Ryan scenes today (besides the fabulously textual Pervy dialogue) was it clearly showed Ryan's take on things. He had to already know the truth in everything mentioned in Bianca's description of all things Kendall, and he still chooses to handle Kendall as badly as he does. Kryan just doesn't work. He knows Kendall's MO and therefore should know that walking out the door in his typical righteous indignation wasn't doing anything but feeding Kendall's insecurities. Damn, he sucks.

Got my SOD in the mail today. Late as usual. There was a fluff piece in there about one of the staff members' trip to the AMC set. The interesting parts were: the scuff marks on Michael Jordan's wall from bouncing a basketball on it, Alicia's pregnancy pad making it difficult for her to go to the bathroom, Eden completely not recognizing Justin Bruening when she walked by (ha), Michael Knight all proud of himself for finally mastering his TiVo, Alicia's workload being 50 pages a day of memorization (yikes) and a hilarious anecdote by Walt about feminine hygiene products that I'll quote.



Oh, I almost forgot to snark on Exeter's heart attack today. That was hilarious!

Exactly. He's known Kendall for what, something around two years now? This is not new behavior for Kendall. And the thing is, Kendall's scenes with Bianca prove that she is capable of being in a loving relationship without being paranoid or constantly flinging accusations or trying to push Bianca away. Okay, Bianca's got a slight advantage in that she can do something Ryan isn't able to do --i.e. have a baby that Kendall identifies strongly with, and there's no doubt Kendall worships Bianca for that--but she also handles Kendall very differently. I've commented on it before, but I think this really is key: Bianca doesn't make Kendall ask her for reassurance, for declarations of love. She just gives them to Kendall. Meanwhile we've seen Kendall have to ask Ryan if he loves her, have to ask him for reassurance. When she has to ask, when it's practically like pulling teeth, it's no wonder that his subsequent "I love you"s and reassurances (when he even does give them to her, which he doesn't always) aren't really effective. Bianca, OTOH, showed today just how well she understands Kendall. Her look of horror when Ryan told her he'd just walked out on Kendall was well done. So totally "you dumbass, that is the very last thing you can do with Kendall!" Then she looked like she was trying to decide whether she should just kill him now or whether she should keep him alive for Kendall's sake.

Forgot to mention it before, but I quite enjoyed Kendall ripping Greenlee a new one over Bianca and making her feel stupid for asking if Binks was okay. Go Kendall!

Well, you are talking about the Minute Man…I haven't yet seen today's (or much of last week's) episode, but I'm going to maliciously guess that the duration of the flashback was about as lengthy as the original scene. Considering the (implied) brevity of the rooftop sexage, having Kendall "flashback" to that particular scene seems highly appropriate. Snerk. (I guess that floor really was uncomfortable, else she would/should have flashed to EmptyApartment!Christmas!Sex.) Still, a subtle zinger at Ryan and less work for the editing crew? Fantastic.

Oh, and SkiffyPup has definitely earned the right to captain the sled. Yowza. And what's really scary is that those nuggets are probably just random snippets of Kinksified brain activity rather than being the result of intense ...um…brainstorming. ;)

I took time off of sled driving today to give a lecture on community management in the fan's republic of North Korea, but there is no other place that is comfortable for Kinks lovers like us. TWoP is the only place anyone understands and won't be offended by girlfister Kinks worship. It's a good thing. The sled stays express nonstop between here and the nether regions ... um, hell. I mean hell.

Yeah, Stewie posted the link a couple of pages back. It's Poll. I checked in on Olga's board for kicks and they're having a fit over there--the wording is biased, the BAM fans are ballot-stuffing (which they probably are, but...), etc. etc. Someone wrote TV Guide to say that she would not ever buy the magazine again. Heh.

I liked the way Erica took a drink today. There wasn't some huge dramatic moment where she looked at the brandy and struggled mightily with the question of "to drink or not to drink?" Instead she did it very naturally, as if she's been drinking every day instead of having abstained for however long she's done. It was just that easy.

That said, it's pretty sad that it's Bianca's pregnancy that drove her to it. She got through her daughter's rape without a drink. But like Erica said to Jack, as far as she's concerned this is the worst thing that could ever have happened (now, you know, I personally would've picked the rape, but then I'm not a crazily self-absorbed Erica Kane). Bianca's words about loving and wanting her baby flew right past Erica.

Could someone who has some knowledge on this subject please help me out? Did Erica ever have a drinking problem? I ask because I know she was dependent on drugs and I know that alcohol is a drug. I also know that when you go through a 12 Step program they want you to quit all drugs, even if it was a drug you didn't have a problem with. So, I'm guessing when Erica went through treatment for her addiction to (was it) painkillers she was also told never to use painkillers, alcohol, aspirin or anything like that. Isn't that how they work it in rehab? Now, if her addiction was to painkillers, would her having alcohol be a serious problem? I mean, is the fact that she had a drink really that shocking?

I find that I'm both looking forward to and dreading the upcoming (I guess) BAM kissage talk. Looking forward to it because it might make Maggie as miserable as she's making me. Dreading it because it'll be taking away from Bianca's interesting SL. I really hope that the triangle plays itself out pretty quickly. I'm pro-Lianca mostly but if TPTB just aren't going there longterm (If Olga doesn't resign or whatever), I hope they just let Bianca date for awhile. Sure, it'll be harder with a kid (please live, Kendall Jr.!) but plenty of single mothers date. I'm just not feelin' BAM. Two years ago maybe, but not now. Liz has fallen into the Amelia territory with me, where you like the actresses but their characters have outlived their usefulness. No hard feelings, ladies, but you need to go.

Baila, Erica referenced AA when she was talking to Myrtle about realizing Binaca had been raped. I don't recall her words, exactly, but she did speak of one of the steps and how it helped her through her alcoholism. I seem to remember that yes, Erica went through an alcoholic storyline many years ago. She probably hasn't had a drink in 15 years or so. I'm sure someone else remembers better than I, though, so correct me if I'm wrong...

That said, I really like what LaLucci is doing. Numb!Erica is always spooky. But always much more powerful than GodzillErica.

I read somewhere that Erica has a painkiller addiction... went to Betty Ford ... and swore off everything. I think they tell you to do that to keep you from just switching over to a different addiction.... but I can see where it would be less of a danger to have alcohol in the house if it wasn't your poison of choice. At least until now, when Erica's at the edge of the edge.

If I called Betty's and told them I needed treatment for my Kinks habit, I wonder what they'd say? Stay away from TWoP enablers, probably. Dr. Haywired would tell me to take two unrelated young females and call him in the morning. I like that prescription better.

I also vaguely remember that Erica’s father was an alcoholic. Or something like that. That he left her and that’s where many of her insecurities stem from. I’ve only watched for 3 years or so, so I’m not entirely sure about that, but it seems somehow correct in my befuddled mind. I felt a little sympathy for Greenlee at first. After all, it is true that no one explained the whole situation to her and maybe if she knew that everyone was trying to protect Bianca she wouldn't have done what she did. But what little sympathy I did have evaporated pretty quickly. She went on a self-pity rant instead of showing remorse, and when she saw Kendall at Fusion she tortured her with the supposed conspiracy with Ryan. Inexcusable.

Yeah, Greenlee's apology started out so promisingly. At least she used the word "girlfriend" to Kendall (albeit sarcastically, though we know what's REALLY going on there).


Probably. I've never counseled on addiction issues before, but assume that these types of problems fall under the "substance abuse" umbrella since one could easily "get over" addictions to one substance by substituting another.

Speaking of which, how is the real Greasy doing over on CBS? Does his new character have any long-term potential?

AMC needs to give Maggie more of her own life and backstory, and if she doesn't end up with Bianca she needs to date other girls/guys. Personally, I hope Lena gets the hell outta Pine Valley, because her character is even more useless than Maggie's outside of relating to Bianca. The evil businessperson could be played by any other character who's greedy. Before they started the triangle, they should have fleshed out Maggie and Lena as personal characters.

Honestly, BAM had more chemistry before they started trying to show that there was a connection there- prom, Brooke/Edmund's non wedding. Lianca always seemed so drama-oriented, and that's just tired after a while. Binky should just leave both of 'em.

I'm not sure if Erica is an alcoholic per se--I checked out her character history at Soapcentral and found discussion of the drugs, but not drinking--but she does stay away from the alcohol normally. I remember a scene during FEM where she was thinking about drinking, Opal came across Erica with a glass of champagne and Erica decided not to drink it. I remember this mostly because I remember that Erica explained to Opal that it was a case of champagne from her father's collection that she'd been saving for Bianca's wedding, only there'd never be a wedding now because Bianca's gay, causing me to roll my eyes.


I noticed Erica wasn't even entirely sure what was in the decanter--she said she thought it was brandy. I guess one of her staff handles keeping the bar stocked.


Word. Over on the DAYS board, I recently gave a rundown of Sami's early history in Salem, and that caused me to start thinking about all her shenanigans. And I realized her baby didn't slow the character down in the slightest, even though Sami gave birth at around age 18 and isn't independently wealthy like Bianca. I don't think Sami's ever been off the frontburner for more than five minutes, if that. So I really don't see any reason why Kendall Jr. would have to interfere with SLs, romantic and otherwise, for Bianca. As I commented before, I like that her pregnancy hasn't caused her to just rush into marrying Lena by default because her life would be easier if she had a partner.

And AMC being willing to do a triangle is, in many ways, a good sign IMO. It's just a badly executed one, surprise surprise. Instead of over-redeeming Lena and using Naggie as the third person, AMC should've kept Lena grey and brought on another woman for Bianca. Someone serious and stable and honest, no dark secrets, no agenda, no nasty past. Maybe a rape counselor or psychiatrist--not her own, of course, just one she bumps into and strikes up a friendship with. Make Bianca really look at her general taste in women and how she conducts her relationships and assess how she needs to change. (I'd still have her go with Lena in the end, of course.) I generally hate Erica, but she really did have a valid point during the Kristi-blind-date ep when she asked Bianca why she preferred the company of a liar and thief over someone perfectly nice like Kristi. It's not that I want Bianca to change her taste in women, mind you, but I'd like some self-awareness from her, too, because it'd ultimately help her in relationships with women like that. (For instance, changing her policy of usually waiting for Ms. Mysterious to open up because she wants the other woman to feel comfortable trusting her. It backfired on her with Frankie and it backfired on her with Lena. Time to put aside her co-dependent tendencies and change it.) It's no wonder Bianca's in love with Kendall--Kendall's totally her type. I loved when she described Kendall as "chaos in a dress" yesterday. Hee!

There's a new AMC ad out--not sure what magazine it appeared in, but someone on Olga's board scanned it. It's another Kinks+Erica ad, and Kinks fans will be quite amused at cleavage-baring, hot-looking Bianca suggestively positioned behind her girlf--er, sister (who also looks hot, needless to say). Ad

If that would fix Maggie, I'd agree but I don't know if it would. The honest reason why I put Liz in the Amelia category is because both actresses seem to have to be written in a way to make them engaging. They can't just rise above the material given like so many of the others on AMC have to. Look what Terri does with Simone, a very underwritten character. If a less charismatic actress played Simone, I'd never give a damn what she does just because the character really is nothing more than a plot parasite (tm Black Knight). There is no deep meaningful navel gazing to sell Simone's reasonings but I buy everything she does because Terri sells it. I just don't get that glimmer from Amelia or Liz. It's all a matter of perspective, I know. Liz certainly has fans that think she's completely captivating, I just don't feel her in general and lately it's become worse. Honestly, it might just be me. There's a few more actors on AMC that have rabid fan bases that obviously see something I don't. YMMV, and all that.

I think she gave up alcohol when she got off the drugs. She is an addict and therefore stays away from all substances. She was never treated for alcoholism specifically, but it would be easy for her to substitute on addiction for another.

Yes, she'd be bored. Usually she seems to be bored right off the bat--see Kristi--but this is one point in her life where she'd be willing to give it a chance, I think. She'll be a new mother soon, and her last choice of love interest blew up in her face in an extremely ugly way. Then there's the whole issue of having sex again. If it were this more serious, stable woman, not Naggie, I could see Bianca reasonably choosing to have sex for the first time after Voldemort with her. Less pressure, fewer associations--it'd just be easier. But eventually I'm sure Bianca would go right back to her type of woman, hopefully having learned a couple of lessons on handling relationships so that they're less likely to backfire on her. Remember, with the Kane Women and their relationships, Bianca's the one who tends to fill the Jack/Aidan/Boyd role, in a reversal of Erica and Kendall's relationship dynamics. It was that way during FEM and we can see it now with Kinks. So ultimately Bianca can't be paired for any real length of time with someone not fucked-up, she'd be bored sooner or later. But it would be good for a little bit of time to help her get past some of her enabling and co-dependency tendencies.

Bianca's a paradox in that she would like a quiet, peaceful life, but at the same time she's always choosing to hang with the kind of people who all but guarantee she won't get that, and plus trouble's always finding her.

Dude, just from reading the play by play for today I have to say that Maggie is just plain fucked up. On Bianca's birthday too!? No one messes with the rack like that, wench.

In all fairness, the legitimate ™ should go to whoever it was who used to write the Boston Public recaps. That's what he called all the characters that didn't have storylines.

Does anyone think the person behind the plant is Bianca? The shadow has a hair flip: it's either a hair red herring or Bianca actually did see who killed Michael.

And what the hell is going on with the anomalies at Bianca's place? One second she's sitting on the couch, looking at Lena's ring, and the next she's coming out of the bathroom(?) and blowing out a candle.

Regarding Erica's addiction, sometime in the 90s when she was modeling, I think the stage she was one collapsed or something like that. Erica was injured and put into the hospital, where she promptly became addicted to the morphene they were pumping into her, and became dependent on painkillers. I think Dimitri shipped her off to re-hab or something.

In my opinion, Bianca was the one who killed Michael. I'm basing this on the "Who Killed Colin" storyline on OLTL a few years back. There was this interview with the actress who played Nora that I remembered reading where she said that she had pretty much figured out that she was the one who killed Colin, because she was the only one out of the suspects who could get away with doing it, because of the amount of victimization she had incurred. I think the same thing happened with Bianca, she went over there, armed to protect herself against him, to confront him on what he had done to her, he attacked, she shot him in self-defense. Case closed.

BTW, I saw Michael Nadar on an episode of L&O:SVU a few weeks back. The died blonde hair confused me, but I knew that voice...the lip scar confirmed it. Has there been any word on his drug treatment? I want them to bring him back as Dimitri, the other actor just didn't do anything for me at all.

The lack of Kendall onscreen today had me fanwanking that she had skipped town in Palmer's plane with Aidan. Then the above mentioned scene from tomorrow showed up and shot that to hell.

No Kendall on screen and everybody talking about her in past tense had my dad going, "What, is she dead?" His tone was that of complete disbelief that they'd kill off Kendall.

I liked how Brooke left Krystal and Liza baring fangs at each other all, "Try not to get any blood on the carpet, it's hard to get out."

I agree with KerleyQ. I like Jamie a whole lot more when he isn't fighting for the truth about Babe's piglet. So Maggie, if you "really really" like Jamie, do him a big favah and keep him away from that horny hillbilly from hell! No wonder I liked AMC last week, we weren't assaulted with Boobe & Jr. Although I sheepishly admit to enjoying seeing Paul on my screen. Yep, no shame here...really. The actor can't act but he sure is a cutie.

And can I please have some more scenes with David and Greenlee? I love that there is someone who understands Greenlee's shenanigans and why she does them. David, I heart you.

Can someone who has been watching everyday and paying close attention please explain the story behind Lena's Black Coat of Suspicion. No comprendo. The only reason I'm interested in it is because of my Lena. So cute with the single cupcake.

Lena's coat. Well, I don't know: this is the first time it's been brought up as an issue and I'm pretty certain it does not point to Lena as the killer. First of all, she was not wearing it that night and, secondly, she was more than willing to cop to having killed Michael before: there is no way in hell she would let Kendall stand trial for killing Asshat when she knows that would close the book on Bianca.

How about Maggie today? "Bianca, I kissed you because you're emotional and unstable." Stupid asshole.

I liked the way Brooke handled Liza and Krystal too. And the way she handled Liza alone also. I'm just not seeing that Liza's going to win this one. She's just being so pathetic in trying to break up with Tad's other women for him by proxy when he already told her that he isn't seeing her exclusively. I can't stand Krystal, but given Liza's patheticness I was kinda happy to see Krystal just stomping all over Liza. Heh.

I noticed that in Erica's account of when she and David went to see Michael, the light by the door was still on. I don't know if AMC is just forgetting details, or whether that means Erica's lying even about what she does remember, or whether AMC screwed up the timeline. (IIRC, Erica was knocking at David's door right about the time that Kendall was strapping the knife to her thigh and then heading over to Michael's to unscrew the lightbulb.) Her story does explain David's bruise, but...would he have been so casual and cavalier in his phone call to her the next morning if things had gone down the way she said? I would've expected David to spending all night trying to find Erica if she just ran out on him like that.

I liked the David/Greenlee scenes. Maybe it's because she feels for whatever reason she can open up to him a little bit, but she was refreshingly excuse-free for Greenlee, even if I think she's still wrong to be whining about not having been told about Bianca's pregnancy. (I was thrilled to hear David tell her there was no conspiracy.) I do wish she hadn't defended Ryan though. Sigh. And now both Adam and David are talking about maybe having to go away for awhile. Hrrrmm.

Naggie really is pathetic. First the way she behaved in the scenes with Brooke (I don't know what Jamie's whining about, based on how Naggie was behaving, he's lucky Brooke actually does like her for whatever reason), and then of course with Bianca later. Bianca was way too nice for even bothering with Naggie.

On the whole, this birthday really does suck for Bianca, huh? No wonder she doesn't feel like celebrating. And just think, she's got a hospital scare and Erica refusing to see her yet to occur on this day. She should've stuck with the original plan of jetting off with Kendall, except Kendall's MIA.

I actually only noticed that she was absent until the previews for tomorrow. Guess it's cause they mention her so often, I mentally include Kendall. But honestly, the real thing's so much better. The preview? Aw yeah, she brings the pretty. Hopefully with a Ryan smackdown to boot, heh.

Wait. A. Second. Why was the second wish something to do with Maggie?! And not Lena or Kendall getting acquitted! (BTW-loved it when Lena said that) If McTrash even thinks for one minute that Bianca is actually interested in that twit, she needs to lay off the crack. I mean today Lena was so sweet. Maybe I'm overreacting about the wish thing, but it's only because Maggie reawakened my complete contempt for her with that lame-assed show of idiocy at the house. WTF? You make no sense girl. Awwww, triangle stuff! I've never rolled my eyes so much in my life. Lena (bless her) shows up with a cupcake! Just like when Binky brought Maggie a cupcake for her and Frankie's birthday! The subtlety! Bah. Oh, but it gets better! Bianca decides to grab the midget by the horns and get the air cleared! And, wonder of wonders, Maggie informs Bianca it's her problem! Just like before! Champagne Incident revisited! Grrrr... It was almost worth it to see Pissed!Bianca but not really. I know that look will be interpreted many ways but I saw it as Bianca getting hit with more Stone bullshit. Too bad she didn't stay mad, it looked like at the end she was back to worrying about fixing Maggie's poor wittle problems. Bah! Bianca, I know you have a lot to deal with but deal with your rat problem first, mmkay? Bianca's pressuring you, Mags? Come here and I'll relieve you from the pressure of breathing...

Hee, Mystic0, to your post. I noticed the cupcake thing too, though actually what I really noticed from that whole bit was Bianca saying to Lena that she doesn't believe in wishes. The last two years have really beat Bianca up. She did seem to have a slight surge of optimism at the end, but I'm sure that's permanently dead now that she sees she has Loony Cousin Greenlee at the door. If Greenlee starts whining tomorrow about Bianca not seeing fit to tell her about the pregnancy, my eyes will roll right out of my head altogether. I couldn't really get a read on Bianca/Greenlee in the previews tomorrow--Greenlee seems a little too smirkily upbeat all of a sudden. Odd.

I took Bianca's look as "great, this is still a problem to deal with". She knew Maggie wasn't telling the truth and so the air still isn't cleared. And since Maggie told her she hooked up with Jamie, Bianca isn't dumb, she knows that means Maggie ran off and hooked up with the first guy she found out of panic--in short, Maggie's obviously having a serious problem. I think Bianca should just not care about what Maggie's going through and boot her supposed "best friend" to the curb, but whateva.

Right on. Bianca's receiving a nice mass flogging on other boards right now, but I really didn't see any romantic longing toward Mags today. From Bianca's POV, this is the one problem she can fix, if allowed to talk it out. Plus, as you said, she damn well knows that Maggie's lying. Maggie really pissed me off today. If she would have just said, "Look, you were leaving town, I was freaking, and just did something stupid and I'm sorry" I wouldn't get so riled up. But nooooooooo, she just hands her mistake over to Bianca and jets. The nerve, man, and on Binky's freakin' birthday too! Grrr....

On a lighter note, Lena's "What about the coat? You like it? Hate it? WHAT!?" had me rollin'. She's cute when she's cranky. I've so been there. I have a tendency to make grand romantic gestures when people have too much shit going on to really feel the glow. Hee! I feel ya, sister!

I'm not sure a cupcake qualifies as a grand romantic gesture, but yeah, Lena's "you love it hate it WHAT?" cracked me up too. I think we can definitely say that she not only wasn't wearing the coat that night, but has no idea that anyone else was. She knows Bianca is blocking out something about that night. And unless she's brushed against Mia a lot more times in the courtroom, she consequently wouldn't be so dense about Bianca's fixation on her coat or stupid enough to wear the coat around Bianca.

I figured poor Bianca was taking a beating from certain other places. But I thought the fact that she went and made the effort to cute herself up some after Lena arrived was promising. I still don't see any interest in Maggie, and as for Lena, she's interested, she just has WAY too much else going on right now. She didn't even remember it was her own birthday, after all.

Anyways, I still haven't figured out what exactly Lena's other involvement with Mikey's murder will be (I don't think she killed him or anything) but I definitely buy into someone else wearing her coat. The Binkster was gettin' close today to something but I don't think she's on to the right conclusion yet.



Yepper, I was kinda hoping that it would have been Kendall on the phone but then I remembered that poor Kendall has trouble remembering exactly how old Bianca is in the first place, so Binky's birthday might be a mystery to her. Hee! Return your girlfriend's calls, Kendall!

I'm looking forward to the Greens/Binks scenes tomorrow. Bianca was kinda eyeballin' Greens like she was a grenade that could go off any second. I wonder what Trollee's 'plan' will be?

I honestly don't think there's anything more to Lena's story as far as Asscicle Appreciation Night goes. She put the poison in the meds, went and threw the gun in the PV Ocean when she didn't need it for protection anymore, and went home. Saw no one and did nothing else. I mean, she didn't know Bianca had left the penthouse that night, she wore the coat around Bianca, and so on. If she had any info on anyone else about Mikey's murder, she would've told Bianca by now in order to help Kendall. I still think she's worried that Bianca killed Michael.


Heh. I was hoping the same thing. And when Bianca was looking all happy, at first I assumed it had to be Kendall on the phone, but then it turned out to be Myrtle. It's really pretty shitty for both Kendall and Maggie to go MIA on Bianca the same night. At least Kendall has serious problems--Naggie, not so much--but still. (Naggie's the same as ever--her problems before everyone else's, just like when she was worrying about Henry instead of her cousin's dead baby.) Pervy better have some Kinks scenes in store for us for later this week.


I have no idea, but Bianca was dead on with her advice. When Greenlee told David that things couldn't get worse, I thought to myself, "Things can always get worse, especially when you or a Kane is involved." Well, her plaaaaan can't come to much if she ends up in a mineshaft, can it?

They can beat Bianca up all they want: she's just trying to solve the one problem she actually can solve. "You like me? I got over you last year: get out."

For the Retcon 32, the look at the end meant that Bianca was angry that Maggie "cheated" on her with a guy, but I think Bianca was seething mad because she knew Maggie screwed the first thing she saw to bleach out The Gay. Great message to send your best friend, Maggie: tell her being gay needs to be rubbed out.

The Jar-Jar Boobe saga makes me want to chew glass.

She fell off a catwalk actually. The drug addiction plot was actually kind of funny (not the topic but the execution). I think this was back when La Lucci was in her 11/12 years without an Emmy thing and she was always in those scene-chewing storylines. So she got addicted to the painkillers which is how they wrote in Dr. Kinder (remember him?). He was keeping her supplied with the meds and it got tied up with Janet and Skye, who was the good doctor's ex. Then he got killed and for a time Janet, Erica, and Skye were driving around town with the body in the trunk in July...

Back to the drugs. She kept taking them and was playing games with forging prescriptions, drinking, etc. Erica ended up on Front Street trying to score drugs (wearing quite the fashion ensemble too). I do believer Noah helped her and then she went off to Betty Ford on her own.

Not only do I remember Dr. Kinder, I desperately wish ABC would release that whole Janet/Skye/Erica/Kinder interaction on DVD or something. What? I'd buy it. Funniest damn thing I've seen on soaps ever.

I myself would pay cold hard cash to see the triumphant saga of Harold the Wonder Dog's triumphant cross-country trek again--particularly the emotional and uplifting scene where he rescued the trailer park family from that vicious, plastic snake.

But yes, Janet, Erica, and Skye trying to convince Derek and Stuart that a)no, really, it wasn't necessary to check the trunk and b)it wasn't so strange that they were all taking up gardening was pretty damn funny too.

And there was before that too, when Janet, Erica and Skye had Kinder all tied up on the bed and were interrogating him and gloating. Hee.


Heh. You know, I went surfing on the boards briefly--goodness knows why, I guess I was in a mood to be amused by the Net Experience--and there's actually a sort of odd fusion going on of some of the Lianca fanbase with the BAM fanbase. Bianca's getting lynched on Olga's board for today, and some of the BAM fans have noticed and are using this as proof for their interpretation: "See, even the Lianca fans believe that Bianca wants Maggie!"

Just bring on BoiledDuckie, I say.
