If TIIC are trying to make me hate Greenlee, mission accomplished. Given her recent behavior, maybe her nickname should be "Meens." As if her constant spying on Kendall wasn't tacky enough, her literally exposing Kendall just to vindicate herself was tacky beyond belief. As Jack said, Greens has learned nothing from Jerica's wedding day debacle, when she outer herself as Jack's daughter. The reason Jack didn't tell Greens that Binks was pregnant was because it wasn't his place, simple as that. Greens has become so obsessed with being "right" that she doesn't seem to care whom she hurts.

That goes double for Mia. I've never had any use for her & her backstabbing Kendall makes me hate her even more. While I was pissed at Jake for cheating on/dumping Mia, I now think that he's dodged a big-time bullet. A useless, vapid one. Mia may be Liza's sister, but she's got none of her brains or class. Mia & Meens can both rot in Hell, for all I care.

ETA: Josh Duhamel's gonna be in the new Hollywood issue of "Vanity Fair." The good news: He's shirtless. The bad news: He's on crutches, poor baby.

I don't think Erica will go as far as kicking Jack to the curb for any significant amount of time. She might be mad for a couple of days or something, but if she boots Jack, then she has no one who's obliged to listen to her whine about Bianca. But still, you're right in that Erica's support system isn't going to function the way she's normally accustomed to. Erica can't reasonably claim anymore that she opposes the baby for Bianca's sake, not because of her own self-centeredness. But no doubt she'll keep sticking to that line, and using it to justify her shitty behavior, and I can't see Jack, Myrtle or Opal putting up with it for long before they tell her to suck it up and deal.


The faster Erica gets around to trashing Kendall and "that Michael Cambias baby" to Bianca's face, the better. Because Bianca lied to Erica, and because she knows that she's hurt and disappointed her mother with her decision, she'll give her mother a free pass to beat her up--she all but handed her mother a baseball bat and told her to go for it on Friday's ep--but it'll be a different story when Erica starts raging about Kendall and the baby. Bianca won't put up with it. And on the flip side, Kendall's going to go bonkers when she hears Erica trashing Bianca. Whee!

I believe Greenlee's nickname several years ago, back when she was behaving the same way, was "Meanlee."

Yup, I remember the Meanlee nickname. But I also rather like the one Mystic0 came up with, Trollee. I wonder if her little sojourn in the mineshaft is going to be used so she can reach some epiphanies about herself, or just as a way of making everyone else pity her just enough that they won't kill her when she reappears in town.

I also wonder if, since Erica refuses to go see Bianca at the hospital, whether we'll get Kinks hospital scenes instead. Please please please. There is no way Kendall would not rush to the hospital if she's told. That could explain also the spoiler about Erica and Kendall having a confrontation on Friday--if Kendall knows about Erica refusing to see Bianca, she'd be hella pissed at her mother--and also perhaps why Kendall decides to take the plea bargain. It seems like Bianca's scare might be brought on due to stress from worrying over Lena's part in Asscicle Appreciation Night--it wouldn't be the first time that's happened, she collapsed when Lena was arrested before--and Kendall might decide the trial is just way too much of a danger to her girlf--er, sister's pregnancy and so she needs to bring it to a quick end.

Yep. Back in the day when Greens used to say stuff like, "lesBianca!" she was referred to as Meanlee.

I think I am the only person on the thread that thinks that Maggie and Jamie do have chemistry... it is part of my general theory of sexual chemistry between soap actors. This is going to sound awful and scary, but I judge sexual chemistry on soaps by asking myself during a makeout scene, "do these two people look like they'd want to take this back to the dressing room if the cameras stopped rolling?" If I think yes, then good onscreen chemistry. Gross right?

There is JAM chemistry. I am just sick of Liz because they have used her as a barrier to great lesbian chemistry heat all year.

Truthfully though.. I prefer seeing her with Jaime instead of Babe. Babe and JR can stay together in their weird mansion hijinks story. Jaime is more nomal guylike with the magster.

They're still using her to keep Olga sidelined though and it stinks. The whole am I confused again storyline stinks. It's unfair. It's rehash. And it's boring.

I don't know. I saw a flash of chemistry between them once, but it's not sexual chemistry per se. I've noticed that with soap couples, most of the successful ones fall into either of two categories--sweet and cute, or sexy and hot. It's a rare couple that can do both. (Lianca and Kinks are two that can do both.) Jaggie is a couple that could fit in the "sweet and cute" niche, except AMC tried to jam them into the "sexy and hot" instead, and it doesn't work. I'm still nauseated thinking about the double entendres in their post-shag convo. That said, it probably doesn't matter since the fourth in the upcoming quadrangle ain't Jamie. Maybe Liz will have actual sexy chemistry with this one.


I love how we try to interpret all spoilers as leading to the result we want of Kinks living together. Just move the hell out already, Naggie. Bianca needs help with her pregnancy and Kendall needs comforting as her trial goes downhill, so be considerate and get out of the way. I'm sure Naggie's dorm room at PVU is still available--who would want to live where Haggie sex took place? Remember the weird camera angles?

I know I'm going waaaaay out on a limb here, but I can see Greenlee's point to a certain extent. The writers had some of it right, but I wish they had gone all the way with it--but that would make her too logical for this town. BUT---the entire village of Pie Balley is comitting crimes beyond belief here to "protect" Ken Doll and Binks. Obstruction of justice, perjury, fraud, ad infinitum. Ken Doll is a liar, and everyone is in on it to protect her, in spite of the law and how it will affect everything. Greenlee is a self centered nut, that's for sure, but as she correctly pointed out, SHE didn't bring Reverend Moonbeam to Pie Balley. Aiden did--how stupid is that? If you're trying to hide someone from the people that are looking for him, you don't bring him anywhere near the town they live in. Dumbass move there.

I know I'm out of the loop as to Greenlee backstory and all, but if someone had taken her aside and told her a little of what was going on instead of patting her on the head and telling her to go away, she might not have pulled the stunt in the courtroom. I think in spite of what she says or thinks right now, she cares for Knedall and would do what she needed to to help her, if she knew what the reasons for her actions were. But then this is a soap, and a McTrash soap, so logic is out the window.

But I am glad that they made Livia the logical one on the team here. Even though she is going to have a hell of a time convincing Lambert that she wasn't part of the conspiracy to defraud the court, she's the clean one here. Eveyone else is in for it big time. If this were anything like reality, of course. Jack should be disbarred, Ryan, Aiden, Binks, Ken Doll, Boyd,Helen, Yadda, Yadda--all deserve jail time...

It's no wonder that other soaps that have decent writing, logical stroylines where people that commit crimes face the consequences, intelligent conversation and character continuity, timelines that work and logical action are number one in the ratings. {cough} Young and the Restless {cough}


I just HAD to laugh when I read the spoilers. loving the old mineshaft cliche we have to look forward to. I only hope that Mia loses her ability to speak, finds Greens, runs back to Aiden and has to bark and pantomime Greens' location. "What Mia? Who?"

The thing is, Greenlee said herself that exposing Kendall's non-pregnancy would wreck her defense. She said that when the Fusion Trolls had Kendall cornered in the briefing room a couple of weeks ago. As such, I have no sympathy for her being too dumb and/or self-involved to put together such a basic cause-and-effect concept in her head without an explanation. Cause: Kendall's defense is wrecked. Effect: She's going to jail or death row. This is not a hard concept to understand. Even sweet but rather dense Simone was able to put this together without benefit of a lawyer explaining it to her--that's why she bailed out on the Fusion Trolls.

The fact Kendall originally lied to protect Bianca's secret really has nothing to do with anything. Kendall's on trial for offing the rapist of Greenlee's cousin. If Greenlee cares about Bianca and Kendall like she says she does, that should be enough for her to not go around deliberately trying to wreck Kendall's defense. But she knowingly did exactly that. I'm not buying her "I didn't understand that if I wrecked her defense she'd be executed and it's everyone else's fault for not explaining this basic point of law to me!" whining. As Luciaphile said, that ignorance would be excusable from one of Chesty's kids, not from a reasonably-intelligent CEO of Greenlee's age.

And I caught the fury of judge Lambert for Greenlee. She was livid. It was like she was playing along and didn't want the truth to come out. Lets run this dog and pony show fast ... get Kendall acquitted, and then I don't have to look Bianca in the face every day and remember that I released the asshat. The judge told Greens not to leave until she had dealt with her and Greenlee left anyway? Will there be consequences, or was this just bad writing as usual?

Though AMC's wrecked all the goodwill I had for Boobe with the NYE crap, I do still remember her scenes with Bianca and how charming and appealing Boobe was in those scenes for once. I know it's been said before, but it was such a huge mistake to bring Boobe on and have her immediately playing the ho with two brothers. And it's a mistake now to have Boobe doing nothing else at all except her shitty SL. It makes her two-dimensional and it makes me not care at all about her character. If we could see her interacting with some other people--and not newbies and/or recent recasts--in something not related to the JR/Jamie mess, it'd do wonders.

While the judge expressed regret in her scene with Jack, I've never gotten the sense that she's in any way tilting the trial towards Kendall. If she were really inclined to be biased towards the Kane-Montgomerys, she would've declared a mistrial. There was enough validity to Livia's argument that Greenlee's stunt was too prejudicial that Hannah could have gotten away with it.

(And who would ever have thought there'd be a day when I could type a sentence like that? Kendall's been the town pariah for so long.) Subconsciously, Greenlee wants Kendall out of the way to make room for herself.

Yes. I've been thinking that myself. No matter what Greenlee tells us or other people that her motivations have been Ryan and/or Fusion, the real root of Greenlee's animosity towards Kendall is that everyone is putting HER before Greenlee in their mental list of People Who Matter. She can't stand that. Her memory is all too clear of the days when people wouldn't cross the street to spit on Kendall if her hair was on fire.

LOL, this message board has forever enhanced my viewing of AMC. It feels like I get to watch two soaps for the price of one. On one hand I have the offline AMC where there is a Kendall/Ryan/Greenlee triangle with Mia/Aidan and a side of Boyd for the couple conflicts, while online it's Kinks vs. Keenlee with a secret Kinks lovechild to sweeten the pot and a side of a possible Aidan/Boyd.

I spent the weekend with one of my spoiler sources and they told me that Michael Cambias's killer is in fact BIANCA. Although she doesn't watch the show, she swore up and down that her information was correct after I asked five times, "are you sure?" But since I haven't heard this info anymore else, I'd take it with a grain of salt considering AMC is cracking down hard on spoiler leaks, this could be misinformation. Just thought I'd throw the info out.

I've tuned in and out of this Cambias Killer Drama since he was offed and I know Bianca has some gaps in her memory the night of the murder, but wasn't she in the penthouse with Reggie watching over her or did she slip out unnoticed when Reggie was off doing his thing?

runnerbird, in answer to your question, which I'm sticking in tags even though it's not technically spoiler info because it kind of points to what your spoiler info was, is that Reggie left Bianca alone in the penthouse that night. The last time we saw Bianca that night, she had just realized that Reggie was gone. I've long theorized that she left the penthouse to try to find Reggie, first going to Jack's, where she took the gun, and then heading over to Michael's condo.

That reminds me, the woman who took the gun from Jack's safe is not the same woman who's in the bushes in Bianca's flashback. The woman who stole the gun was wearing gloves and seemed to have no issues with sleeve length.

Agreed. Greenlee is selfish and needs attention, etc. But the real point to it all for me, and the shitty writing pisses me off to no end---is that everyone involved in the cover-up is committing fraud against the court. It is relevant to the case and the world that Kendall is faking a pregnancy and marriage to save herself from the chair. It doesn't matter WHY she's doing it. She's committing another crime to offset the one she's on trial for. I may be wrong here, but she could be convicted of all of it in addition to being found guilty of the murder. Bianca's actions are also a fraud against the court (read: the state, therefore, the people), and are criminal because she provided the blood for the DNA test presented as evidence in Kendall's defense.

It doesn't matter to me that everyone hated the Assicle that raped Bianca. I hated the guy too, and wouldn't convict anyone who killed him either--but the other crimes that the entire town is committing in defense of Kendall and to protect Bianca are an obstruction of justice. I'll be interested to see how TPTB write themselves out of the corner they are putting themselves in. I hold no hopes, however, given what we have now.

And I'd like to see Lambert slap a contempt charge on Jack for disobeying her order to Greenlee to stick around by sending Greens home.

This just reminds me of my initial problem with this whole "Who killed Mikey" SL--the overzealous nature of Derek and ADA Tarzan. Especially Derek. I know quite a few cops, and if the rapist of a friend's close family member walked out of court free as a bird and someone offed him that night, I don't see them turning into the raging asshole that Derek became in the name of bringing his killer to justice. I don't expect Derek to totally skirt the law, but his aggression and his hostility towards Jack rang beyond false with me and had me hating on Derek in a big way. He wasn't this pumped up to get any of Mikey's crimes to stick, but he's determined to punish whoever he can for Mikey's death?? And don't even get me started on the characters mentioning the possible death penalty. Who's going to decide to sentence Kendall to death for offing her sister's rapist?? Please, put me as a juror on that case, and I'm holding out with a not guilty until the cows come home, never mind the death penalty. I'd be sitting in that jury room all day saying "Sorry, I have reasonable doubt."

Yes, and this has been mentioned onscreen. The judge slapped Kendall with perjury and obstruction of justice charges after Greenlee's stunt. Aidan told Mia that he could end up in jail because of Fred Lomax. Bianca, Ryan and Boyd are also in plenty of legal trouble. Jack is technically safe from charges for the pregnancy scam because he stopped Kinks from explaining the Kendall non-pregnancy portion of the scam to him, but he's been slapped with charges for planting the heroin in Michael's condo, which he admitted to in court.

But as has been mentioned the last time we really talked about this, they'll probably all get off the hook because 1) the families involved are the wealthy and prominent Kanes, Montgomerys, Chandlers and Cortlands and 2) if Exeter is going to charge people, he has to charge everyone, which means he has to charge Bianca. No DA is going to want to send a 19-year-old pregnant rape victim to jail for trying to keep her sister from being convicted for offing her rapist. As such, everyone will probably just wind up with a punishment of heavy fines, community service, and probation. One of the excuses that can be made is that everyone, except Kendall, obstructed justice to protect Kendall, who's almost certainly innocent of killing Michael, from being wrongly convicted of his death. Kendall's really the only one who committed crimes to not just protect herself from going to jail for something she didn't do, but likely to also protect who she believes killed Michael. And since Kendall thinks, whether correctly or not, that Bianca killed Michael, few will fault her for protecting her sister, and she'll get a slap on the wrist.

Kinks-watch: On Friday's ep, it's already been mentioned how Bianca brings the SisYay by talking about her love for Kendall and how there'd be a huge hole in her life if Kendall didn't exist. But I also really liked the moment where Bianca is telling Erica about the first time she felt the baby kick--you can see her mentally flash to the fact that Kendall was there with her, and she smiles and brings up how Kendall is convinced the baby is a girl, and the whole thing is just so TwoMommies. It's such textual couple-y "My partner thinks our baby is a girl" dialogue and Bianca's face is just shining. Ah, Kinks. Hee.

Yes. Last week was the Kinkiest of all possible Kinks weeks. I hope, but cannot ask for, more from Pervy.

Thanks for the clarification about Kendall and Greenlee, Black Knight! And even though I still defend her for many things, because I empathize with the outsider, I agree that Greenlee is extremely jealous that everyone loves Kendall, now. She's a princess, and used to getting the attention. I think Kendall's refusal to kick Erica out may have been seen by Greenlee as a kind of betrayal, of both herself and Fusion. Greenlee was used to Kendall despising Erica, and also to the fact that they were in direct competition with Enchantment for the... top of the small town Pennsylvania cosmetics empire, hee. Kendall's new respect for Erica, combined with siding with her over keeping Greenlee's paternity a secret from her, was very aggravating for Greenlee, who wasn't nice, she was a total baby about it, but that's just what I saw. Her friend and business partner was in alliance with their competitor---yes, her own birth- mother, but they hadn't had a real mother-daughter relationship for a long time--- not to mention was suddenly very, very popular, and Greenlee was, I think, losing control of what she thought she had in her life.

Anyway, I also agree with Iwantmynameback that everyone is obstructing justice, and it's a definite weakness to the plot. If Kendall were acquitted, as she should be, wouldn't she still have to serve time for perjury and obstruction? And would other characters who lied , like David, be dragged into it, or would she have to take the fall for it all?

Ryan has the most irritating voice when he shouts, it goes up several octaves, into near-screech territory. What kind of friend is he to Greenlee, telling her friendship depends on her submission and obedience? And what kind of fiance to Kendall, not understanding her fears and giving this dictatorial ultimatum, after months of *seeming* to understand where she was coming from? Both of these women can do without him. As was said before, Aiden doesn't stand a chance with Kendall right now, and he still treats her better. Ryan acts like Kendall is a possession. I also can't stand his "You're crazy" smirk, which he throws at both of them, but especially, cruelly, Kendall.

Even with the show's clear subtext of Greenlee's intense jealousy of Kendall, I also see another one of love for her, fury at feeling abandoned and betrayed, possibly jealousy over her closeness to Bianca.

I don't mind a Binks/Lena/Maggie triangle, because at least they finally gave Maggie a reason to exist and to act as she does! I want Lianca, of course, but I loved the kiss scene last week, it was well done. Good for them, an all-female triangle.

So I was standing in line today at the grocery store and had time to flip through the new SOD fairly thoroughly...

ABC took out full-page ads, one apiece, for the Tad the Cad marathon on Soapnet, an OLTL ad (MarcAl) and a GH ad (which I blocked out, but I'm sure it had to do with at least one of the Drab Four). So I flipped through the entire magazine hoping for an AMC full-page ad featuring Kinks. No AMC ad at all that I saw. Asshats.

Some of the AMC cast hooked up with Josh Duhamel and saw his new movie with him. Eden, Aiden, Cam Math, Jill Larson and Julia Barr are in the photos. There's a particularly nice shot of Josh, Eden and Aiden out on the street. Eden looks radiant and there's some funny joking between her and Josh about Eden stalking him.

The SOD round-up question this issue is something about what the actors would do if they took over ABC Daytime. No wonder Eden and Scott Clifton (from GH) snuck off to have dinner--they both think very similarly, apparently, because they both brought up crossovers. In particular, Eden thinks it'd be funny if Bianca went to Llanview University and started up an affair with Jessica, leading to fights between Erica and Viki. Hee. (I would've picked Natalie, personally, but still, it's funny.)

I had almost no time to flip through the SID, but I did notice a Kinks photo on the table of contents page--it's of the same occasion that a photo was posted here before of Eden and Alicia all glammed up, only in this shot Eden's hand is in a more appropriate place (Alicia's waist). Hee. And the photo of Alicia in a pregnancy outfit is quite hot. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact she was wearing a black skirt with a slit up the side. Ahem.

Judging from Friday's previews, however, it looks like Greendall is back with a vengeance.

Somehow I don't think Kendall's going to be feeling too forgiving of Greenlee today, but we'll see. Maybe there'll some Kenlee to be had if Greenlee tries apologizing sincerely and at length instead of just lashing out at Kendall some more.

Cool montage at the end. I don't know why but I was cracking up at Erica getting all bent out of shape about her messed up fingernail because it was the only thing she was willing to deal with. And during the montage there she was, repainting it.

So my friend on the east coast watches Erica taking a drink today and immediately IMs me with the following horrible scenario: A drunk Erica goes driving with Bianca, and hits Boobe and Krystal's car. Both women go into premature labor, Boobe's baby dies, and Erica and Krystal switch it with Bianca's baby. And since Boobe has decided on rigging the fetal cells paternity test now, there won't be any paternity test done after the birth to expose the switch.

Sigh.

I'm not strong enough to handle an Erica falls off the wagon and has a bout with alcoholism storyline. I'm really not, this Cambias thing has taken all the good out of me. I've been beaten down so much I can't even muster the appropriate level of searing white hot hatred that PV's answer to 7-Eleven, Krystal, truly merits.

We had a sweet Kenlee moment today too. For just a second there, I thought they would make up, but alas, it wasn't to be. Rebecca did great in that 'I can't stand me' part. Alicia pissed and crying at the end looked dangerously hot. Mmm.....pretty. Maggie preferring to screw Jamie again over going home cracked me up. You have to go home sometime, little one. (evil laugh) David was all pissy and funny. Erica is a nutjob!

Yep, that's my non-Kinky observations of the day.

Did I just hear Greenlee call someone stupid for being paranoid? Not that Kendall isn't being paranoid, but I seem to recall Greenlee having spent three eps ranting about a vast conspiracy to keep her in the dark. Pot, kettle, black.

Greenlee did actually do better than I thought she would today, but still, I had to roll my eyes during the whole speech where she was complaining about no one telling her anything, even if she did it in a less whiny tone of voice than normal. First, doesn't she think that, oh, being raped and then having her sister on trial for murder is quite enough stress for Bianca as it is? Does Greenlee really need the additional information of the pregnancy to realize Bianca's under a lot of stress? Second, again, it doesn't even matter about Bianca's pregnancy. Greenlee should have wanted to keep the entire thing buried in order to keep Kendall from going to jail. No, I'm still not buying her claims that she didn't understand that if she wrecked Kendall's defense, Kendall would be in deep trouble. I'm so very tired of Greenlee's inability to make simple connections like this and then blaming everyone else for not explaining to her.

Gee, Naggie's such a terrific friend, isn't she? She knows Kendall's trial took a turn for the worse and she's avoiding going home to Bianca because it wouldn't be "fun". Naggie sucks. Not to mention, she has an inflated sense of self-importance for thinking Bianca even gives a shit about that stupid kiss when Kendall's in such serious trouble. Move out already.

The Ryan/Bianca scenes were just painful at first, with the endless fluffing of Ryan. But I let out a cheer when Bianca found out that Ryan hadn't said a damn thing to reassure Kendall and her attitude changed. Thank God. And just when I was thinking that this was a decidedly Pervy-less ep because of all the damn Ryan fluffing, out Bianca comes with the whole "Kendall loves bigger and harder than anyone I know" bit...Ryan tells her it's a sister thing, and we get from Bianca, "It's not a sister thing. It's a love thing." If that isn't a blatant textual acknowledgement of their incestuous Kinky relationship, I don't know what is. Hee! Thanks, Pervy.

Susan continues to do well in her scenes--she's always so much better when Erica is being written so quietly. Her denial is just really sad though. Yes, Erica, if Bianca had chosen to abort, she would have forgotten all about her rape forever. Sure. Erica's a rape survivor herself and she ought to know this never goes away completely. But I suppose she blames it all on the fact that Kendall exists. Because, you know, rape victims who don't get pregnant from said rape are able to forget the trauma immediately and go skipping through fields of wildflowers with nary a care in the world. Erica, on the surface, should be better able to help Bianca than anyone else in her inner circle and yet she absolutely can't because she's either advocating denial, amnesia, avoidance or she's trying to map her experiences onto Bianca's exactly. It's frustrating.

I also liked the montage at the end. I thought it was a nicely subtle choice that Erica was the only one who didn't have any flashback to happier times. Sort of an indication that she is so numb right now that she can't think about anything at all. Except her nail. (And gee, notice, Naggie didn't make the cut for the montage. What, no showing her lying in bed with Jamie and thinking of her starfish kiss?)

If the previews people pulled out the best moments from tomorrow's ep for said previews, boy, are we in for one heck of a filler day.

How many months has it been? Remember when I predicted that they would have Erica fall off the wagon and that it would be a terrific dramatic choice. Bianca called it. Erica is downright scary when she isn't having a hysterical overreaction!

I thought it was funny that Kendall's flashback to happy times involved her and Ryan doing it on the roof. Yes, that's all Ryan's good for: an orgasm. And I'm giving him a LOT of credit there.
