So wait, we got the pleasure today of watching Ryan tear into Greenlee where he ends their 'relationship' and more or less says she's dead to him... yet tomorrow's preview showed him with her in her apartment? WTF???

Well the way I figure it, Greenlee has a ready made lynch mob going and one of lesser people who don't want to rip her to shreds is Ryan. Plus it's McTavish so (shrugs) she has to keep some damn triangle or another going.

Going on promos, we'll get more Kinks on the brainstorming couch. Again Yay!

what really gets me is Kendall is going to break up with Ryan, not because he is a wishy washy arrogant caveman, but because she thinks she thinks she'll be convicted and doesn't want Ryan dragged down with her. seriously, have the writers lost their minds? at this point I am so done with Ryan. Kendall needs a real man like Aiden.

Oh, and I LOVED Myrtle's stank eye to Greenlee. hee!

I don't understand why the Greenlee character has to be destroyed. I know the speculation of her being rebuilt or whatever, but why the hell did she have to sink to this crazy level? I just think it would've been cool to see her in on all the Michael murder scheming. Oh well.

I meant to ask this earlier today, but what the hell is up with the BAM tongue stuff? Do Bammers think there was tongue or what? I'm so confused and frightened by this.

I've been thinking waaaay too long about the Greenlee tearing down and buliding up crap as well. Didn't we do this last summer when she freaked about Jackson being her dad? She had some stupid boulder scene with some bad "King Lear" garbage going on, and the point of that was? Sadly I think that this is going to turn into some "Ryan redeems Greenlee" storyline. Gah.

God, no. You're right, of course, but still. I'm so goddamned sick of Ryan. He's either screaming with his bug eyes or doing this intense whisper crap, and I almost feel like I'm watching John on Days. I wish Ryan would stop grabbing everyone and getting right in their faces. No one wants that shit to happen. If some guy was always grabbing my arm and swinging me around to get in my face about shit, I would kick his ass. I think I'm ranting now. I did like Kendall calling him on his caveman shit the other day, but it'll probably never happen again.

Well, Ryan certainly looks mad in the previews, but he has a soft spot for Greenlee and I'm sure he'll wind up feeling sorry for her after everyone else finishes ripping into Greens. Now I actually don't mind this for two reasons: 1) It makes a permanent Kryan breakup ever more likely. 2) It means that, now that Kendall's pregnancy has been exposed as a lie, switching the Cambias estate back to Ryan, Greenlee will be all hopeful that Ryan will at least give her half of Fusion. And that will set her up for another huge fall when Bianca is revealed to be pregnant, and therefore the owner of Fusion. Mwah ha ha ha!

Oh, I'm gonna have a BIG belly laugh when that happens. Greenlee publicly humiliated Binky's girlfr-er, sister. She'll be lucky if Bianca lets her refill the staplers.

I just don't get how Fusion can be viable after this point. Pretty much all the major players hate each other, and the plot point is gone past F/E/M. Given today's antics, it would be a really hard road to get back together with Kendall and Greenlee feuding over Ryan, Liza and Simone after Tad and Mia. Well, the words are not there. And man does it suck that they're all fighting over boy toys. Except Aiden. Everybody has a blind spot.

I'm running with "McTrash is convinced Greenlee's twelve, what with the lack of height, and no one can convince her otherwise." I haven't been able to come up with something more sensical.

I agree Fusion's viability is over. The only story reason for that company to exist right at the moment is because Greenlee wants it and so it's another vehicle for her to get her well-deserved come-uppance. As soon as Bianca steps up as the owner of Fusion and rubs it in Greenlee's face, as far as I'm concerned Binks can just roll the company over into Enchantment as the younger-demo division Greenlee proposed months ago, and give it to Kendall to run. Since that's the job Greenlee wanted for herself, it's perfect karmic justice. And then Kendall can hire Greenlee on at Enchantment just to torture her. And with Bianca either retaining ownership of Enchantment herself or returning it to Erica or splitting up the ownership somehow, Greenlee's hell should just be complete. All three Kane Women over her. Oh, Greens. Never mess with the Kanes. She's a worthy little spitfire in her own right and she's part of the family and she certainly has some similarities to the Kanes, but she is still not now, and never will be, a Kane.

Now that I've started thinking about it, I'm interested in what Bianca will do about Enchantment. Her first instinct would be to return it to her mother, but given certain family dynamics--i.e. Erica's constant 180s where Kendall is concerned--I can see Binks feeling that it'd be best to maybe split up the ownership among all three of them equally so that Erica can't just push Kendall out whenever she feels like it.

God but the whole Greenlee angle of this SL is stupid. Like not one person (I'm looking at you Jackson and Ryan) would have said to her before today "Yes, I know you're upset about Fusion, and when this trial is over, you can go to whatever lengths you see fit to fight for your company. But, don't you realize that messing with the murder trial and trying to disprove Kendall's alibi is going to send her to jail and possibly the death penalty (yeah, I know no way in hell she's getting death for offing her sister's rapist, but AMC keeps bringing it up, so it fits here)? Now, shut up and back the fuck off until she gets acquitted." This is all someone needed to say to her. Not to mention that Greenlee's not stupid, she could have figured this out on her own a long time ago. Instead of ruining Kendall's defense, she could have taken advantage of the fact that Kendall's so distracted by the trial and taken the time to plot her moves to get Fusion. I mean come on, even Mia realized they needed to help keep Kendall from being convicted.
I'd have bought this all if Greenlee thought she needed to get Kendall convicted to save someone she loves, like Jack. If the story was she thought Kendall did it and the finger was pointing at Jack, I'd buy her exposing Kendall to save Jack. I don't buy this crap, though. Regardless of the Fusion angle, Greenlee'd have no problem with Kendall getting away with offing Mikey, and she'd be able to seperate the murder trial from the Fusion issue.
And were we supposed to feel sorry for poor little Greenlee when no one believed her? Because really, I didn't. She was lucky she didn't get worse. Bianca just didn't have the time to unleash her full fury, but when she does, Greens better run.

Greenlee is baked. The only person who doesn't hate her guts is Mary, and we all know how good her advice is. After shagging Adam, I can't imagine her reaction.

Yay! The "What will Bianca do with all those damn companies?" spec is always a fun one to ponder. I agree that her first reaction will be to give the companies back to their original owners. After all, she knows first hand what Chandler and Enchantment mean to Adam and Erica. I think she'd probably just hand Chandler back to Adam (I don't think her sporadic friendship with JR would influence her too much.). I don't think there's anyway in hell that Bianca would take control of Enchantment (or even equal control) from her mother. Erica, evil twit that she is, did build Enchantment from the ground up (Something I think Binky respects) and Bianca will inherit the whole damn thing eventually anyway. Just meaning, I don't think Bianca would see it as her right to tamper with her mother's life work too much, but I think she might tamper some.

I figure she'll give Fusion to Kendall in a second (Tough luck, Greens!) but I would guess she will try to tie in Enchantment to Fusion. That goes back to my old theory of Enchantment's facilities (labs and warehouses) used to manufacture and distribute Fusion products while netting a precentage of the profits from Fusion. Bianca could dissolve Enchantment's youth line and just basically use Fusion in its place. Fusion could meet a higher production then and the two companies wouldn't have to rival each other. She might see this as a way to force Kendall and Erica to deal with each other (and give Kendall a connection with her mother's business legacy that Erica would probably never afford Kendall) but without the competitive stuff between them, since they'd both be queens of their own kingdoms.

Now, it's what the hell Bianca would do with Cambias that I can't figure out. She could always change the company's name to get rid of the ick factor but Cambias is supposed to be a hella huge company. Maybe she'll bring in Lena and Ryan to help run it or maybe she'll be cranky and just sell it. I have no idea.

Oh man, I love Greens. I love people who mess with Kane women. Sorry guys, but they egged her on. The whole show, she was backing off, apologizing, trying to explain the *truth*---something most Pine Valleyites are happy to hide---that she was actually trying to help them and get Lomax (who's hilarious) out of there, even though she didn't know why they didn't want him there. Then the whole self-righteous lot has to come screaming at her, Ryanbrow being the most self-righteous of all. I pity her for loving him, because, ecch. "Our friendship is OVER!" he hyperventilates. Yeah yeah. I mean, he's annoying. But for whatever reason, she cares. If any of them had taken it in mind to just tell her the frigging truth, including Ryan, none of this would have happened. She would have been on their side. They all cut her off at the knees. I know she's been a bitch on wheels, and people are saying, "It's just her company and a guy", as if people didn't act much worse for less than that, but she hasn't been told anything, and she's acting in character, which is not passive and not trusting. She was betrayed by her friend---yes it matters!---and then lectured to for months to shut up and not be curious. Don't blow the whistle. We won't bother to tell you why Kendall is a saint. Sigh. Erica, knife-wielding at her daughter "don't-mess-with-a-Kane-woman" Erica, is the last straw. The hypocrisy. And we know Erica will blow a gasket when she finds out Binks is pregnant. Run, Binks, hide. Don't mess with a Kane woman indeed. And I'll say it again, many of them missed a chance to explain things to her, and she ended up thinking the worst of them and of Kendall.

The crappy part is, by making Kendall a saint, they've virtually ruined the Greenlee character, so that no one roots for her, everyone turns on her. It's a damned shame. As someone on another board said, it's a simplistic Cinderella and her ugly jealous rotten stepsisters, Kendall the Good vs Evil Greens and Evil Mia, and of course all the men can only love Kendall, and the other two can't be redeemed. People don't want them redeemed, they want to hate them. I swear, if they make Greens pay by total humiliation and attempting to squash her spirit and fire, *I'll* be disappointed. I want reconciliation with Kendall and Jackson (don't give a damn about Ryanbrow) but I also want to see some people apologize to her for helping drive her to this point of anger, isolation and desparation, and for cutting her out of everything and confusing her. Greens isn't the villain that Cambius was, but they're certainly showing how she could become one. (OT: So grateful she ruined Kendall's ugly housecoat. That's just the fashion police in me. Next stop: Maggie's wardrobe.)

On another issue: shut up Liza! Smug, simpering, biatch. Urgh. I prefer Liza over Krystal, of course, but she'd better back off of my Simone. The nerve.

As you all know, it is a complete mystery to me. I am wondering, though -- the stuff in the mags about how great Tad and Krystal are, has all that been written by the mags themselves? Has there been any mail/polls/viewer opinion indictating that Tad and Krystal are all that? Or is it just the mags doing some pimping for the show?

Speaking of Simone, one thing has been bugging me. Why would Mikey torment her in a dream if all she did was shoot my Seany's car?

Hee, I just saw the Fusioneers on the View. Luscious is so cute! I wanna go shopping with her.

I really find it hard to believe that Krystal could be going over any better than Boobe, Dianora. Better actress, but even trashier character, especially since it's clear that a lot of Boobe's more unsavory qualities--i.e. the lying, using sex, and so on--were taught to her by her mother. And the fact that Boobe/JR/Jamie are being de-emphasized during a sweeps month seems to indicate that AMC is aware the SL is not popular.


The thing is, they should've done it a lot sooner, Ryan especially, instead of managing to wait until the one time Greenlee was actually innocent--and as it is, Greenlee came within a hair of turning over the reverend on purpose. Kendall was absolutely correct when she said that Greens had had it in for her for months. If Ryan really loved Kendall, he would've shut Greenlee down the way he did yesterday weeks ago. It's also true that no one's confided in Greenlee, but she also hasn't been acting in a way to inspire anyone's confidence. She was a bitch to Kendall pretty much from the minute Kendall got back from Vegas, and when Kendall was arrested, she tried to talk Jack and Ryan out of helping Kendall. And if she'd had any brains, she would've realized that she shouldn't want to know exactly what's up, because that would've made her an accessory to all the illegal activities. That's why everyone else has had the sense to operate on a strictly need-to-know basis.


I agree. It's just that the wild card here is Fusion. Admittedly I'm a little biased because I think Fusion needs to just cease to exist entirely. If Bianca lets Fusion continue on as a separate company, then certainly she'd hand it over to Kendall and return Enchantment to Erica entirely. But if Bianca merged Fusion into Enchantment, then that means Erica and Kendall would be working together at Enchantment, with Erica as the head of the company, and someone's needed to mediate for the days when Erica is mad at Kendall. I don't know exactly what Bianca would set up, but I do think she'd set up something where she could ensure that Erica can't just fire Kendall whenever Kendall irritates her. I don't think Bianca cares remotely about owning any of those companies for their own sake, but she'd want to protect her girlf--er, sister. But maybe she could just make Erica sign something securing Kendall's status at Enchantment, before giving her mother back complete ownership.

Chandler I agree will go back to Adam. Bianca and Adam have a history because of his relationship with Erica, and she has enough problems without involving herself in the whole JR vs. Adam war. Cambias is indeed an interesting question. It sounds like it's the largest of any of the companies. Didn't Michael and Adam discuss once long ago some sort of merging of Chandler and Cambias? I could see Bianca maybe going that route, and then unloading the expanded Chandler Ent. on Adam. But I also wouldn't be entirely surprised if some never-before-heard part of the codicil pops up that says that Bianca can't just get rid of Cambias, it being the Cambias legacy and all. Alexander would have known when writing his will that any offspring of Michael's would be a child at most, not a fully-grown adult.

Theoretically, if this were the real world, I'm sure Alexander would have left the companies to Michael's kids in trust, naming a someone as trustee to run the companies until the kid becomes of age. Bianca has no claim on the companies whatsoever. Her kid does. So, theoretically, if this were the real world, Bianca wouldn't be able to just deprive her kid of its inheritance by giving the companies away.

But, it's a soap, so what the hell. I hope Kendall and Erica have to work together. That would be lots of fun, especially if Greenlee is eventually thrown into the mix with Kendall as her boss.

Stupid Houston. The affiliate is more interested in showing a high-speed car chase than their regular programming. News flash: you are not L.A. and that guy isn't O.J.

Man, there was some great acting today. Rebecca is doing a kick ass job selling Greenlee's confusion ("What did I do wrong???" spoiled brat routine) and hurt and Alicia certainly did a great job of showing Kendall in that close-to-a-breakdown, numb phase. Lucci, as always, does her best work when there is a good actor to ground her. That closing scene kicked ass. Eden is freakishly talented at conveying so much with just a look. She dialed up the intensity level to ten with very little dialogue (Of course, being able to cry on command helps.) and rocked it. Good job all around.

Adam was hilarious trying to wipe the Jaggie cooties off his limo. Dude, I would have just called a cab and had my limo burned. I have no idea what David is doing. I have no idea how Kendall will avoid prison. I loved Aidan threatening Ryan. Pissed!Aidan is dreamy and he actually shut Ryan up! It can be done!

In the inappropriate laughter department, I love how Binky decides disrobing is always a good idea when making Erica face something she doesn't want to see. Hee! Let the rack work its magic, Binks!

Oh that is hilarious. I had a similar reaction. Except I'm worried that the neighbors heard me yelling "the rack is back!" at the TV. Word on the Aiden love. He was fabulous today. Can you order one of those?

I called mom after today's Kinks-heavy episode and asked if she spotted anything wonky 'twixt the two sisters.
"I didn't raise you to think things like that, did I?" she asked.
"No, no, it wasn't you. It's that stupid internet. They're all sickos," I claimed.
"Uh-huh," she replied, "so they tell me. Well... you know... Kendall could do a lot worse. Bianca's a damn sight better than Ryan. But running off with Aidan is still the best option, since they wouldn't go straight to hell."

Hatred of Ryan, love of Aidan and tacit endorsement of lesbian incest. I'm so proud to be her child, I could just bust.

It's true today's episode was overflowing with Kinks (have they ever looked more like a couple then when Bianca was telling Kendall she'd take care of everything, at her studio?), but when Kendall said, "You will never understand, Erica," and Bianca was holding her and had that fierce look, she was pure Mama Bear.

I just laughed so hard, I'm afraid I ruptured something.

Did Erica scare anyone else today? When Binks came in looking around fearfully for CKD's girlfriend to hide behind, she totally looked like she was scanning for sharp objects. Plus, Erica had changed into black clothes, you know black hides blood stains better. Run, Binks!

It was toolish, but I still appreciated it anyway because the last thing I want is to see the offspring of Maggie and Jamie. Gah. I was soooo grossed out by their innuendos today. It's not that I'm a prude, it's just that there's a way to make that kind of dialogue sexy and fun, and there's a way to just be gross, and they fell into the latter category. Adam is my freaking hero for putting a stop to the second round of sex, and I laughed and laughed when he reamed them out and called the police. They so deserve to sit in jail for making us suffer through those scenes. Go Adam! (And yes, the whole bit with him wiping off the seats was priceless.)

It was another "Shut up, Greenlee" day for me. It took forever to pound any sense into her. I'm not sure I agree with Jack about telling Greenlee about Bianca's pregnancy, but who knows. Maybe she'll actually surprise me for a change. Or not. I'm not hopeful, considering that she trashes Fusion tomorrow.

Yay, another Aidan smackdown of Mia. The death of Maiden II!

If there really was a "subtle murderer reveal" today, I missed it. I did miss the first 30 seconds or so of the ep (though of course I can watch it tonight on Tivo).

Was Susan getting paid double for every time Erica said, "I don't understand"? I did appreciate Erica's implied acknowledgment that she's known all along that Bianca is still pregnant and simply refused to accept it. She certainly isn't happy about it, but is being restrained. That's the thing about Erica--I think she actually deals with these things best when she figures it out on her own timetable, instead of it being forced on her. That's because her brain doesn't clue her in until she's vaguely close to being able to deal.


No. Fucking. Kidding. Oh my god. We thought this might be a Kinks red-alert day, but it was the Kinkiest of Kinks. First the constant comfort snuggles at the start, Bianca trying to hold Kendall together. Then when Kendall was confronted by the press, and Bianca burst out of the courtroom at full speed and swept her lover through the vultures. (Yeah, for purposes of discussing today's ep, like CKD did last week, I'm not bothering with the girl--er, sister thing either.) I swooned. That's supposed to be for Kendall's fiance to do, and he's nowhere in sight! Snerk.

But then the goodness at Bianca's apartment! So intense. So passionate. So full of Kinky goodness. Bianca telling Kendall that they would go away together. I know it won't happen, but I EEEEEEEE!'d anyway. All the romantic tension in the air. Wow. (I so don't care about that Ryan promise Bianca made to Kendall at the end, that was just Pervy's cover-up for all the screaming SisYay immediately before.) And I actually teared up when Bianca told Kendall that it was time for her to lay her head down and rest. It was just so perceptive of Bianca. We've seen Kendall break down before, be exhausted and tired of trying to keep her scams going, but never quite like this. Bianca just stepped right up and was very, very strong. *swoon*

One final bit about the ending scene: Eden was just luminously beautiful in it. I loved the expression on her face when she realized that Erica knew. It was perfect. It was a total "Yes, I'm pregnant, I see you finally let yourself realize the truth, and I'm not going to be ashamed about my baby" look. And damn, Eden just looked so lovely. Lovely lovely lovely.

I think tomorrows episode will be awesome - did you see Erica's face in the previews when she finally touched Bianca's pregnant belly? Pure Emmy Gold!
And Adam wiping off the seat of his limo after Jaggie "buffed the seats" was way too funny.
I was afraid for Bianca too when she walked into Erica's house. Mommie Dearest looked like she was casting around for wire hangers to whip little Binks.

A very sick part of me wishes for Kendall to stay in vunerable mode for a while longer because I could watch Bianca 'take care of her' forever. *Rowr* Complete perviness aside, Bianca got me in that scene where Kendall's by the water fountain looking at her ring and pondering all she's losing. Binks is trying to reassure her but Bianca's expression as she tries not to burst into tears slayed me, man. I agree that Eden killed that last scene. A very fine piece of acting.

I'll cop to catching Greasy. I haven't watched that show in over 10 years, so everything was pretty much lost on me. But hey, it was Greasy. The fact that he was there with Dixie made me laugh as well.

Mona's Funeral: From WoST.

Yeah, that's actually my worry. Bianca is not going to be forgiving even if Greenlee grovels, and as we have seen time and time again, when Greenlee apologizes and someone doesn't accept it, it usually sends Greenlee on a new cycle of viciousness. Like yesterday. Well, I suppose it doesn't really matter anyway, since I don't see how Greenlee can use this knowledge to hurt Bianca. It's not like Bianca gives a shit what Greenlee thinks about the baby. Erica already knows. It's true Bianca can get into a lot of legal trouble for helping to rig the paternity test, but the judge and DA are perfectly capable of figuring out on their own how that was done. Dr. Helen gave the court Bianca, Ryan and David as the "witnesses" to the blood draw, remember.

Speaking of the judge, I hope she comes looking for Greenlee. I couldn't believe Greenlee was so dumb that she was smirking victoriously at the judge while the judge was ripping her one. Greens. Honey. Have you no sense of self-preservation whatsoever?

We're tag-teaming the brain again today, because I thought the same thing. I was so annoyed when Erica called for the same reason. Way to interrupt Kinks before they could get down to ComfortBrainstorming and post-brainstorming pillow talk of their lovely life together with their little girl in some exotic locale, Erica.


Yup, that was perfect. Look reassuring to Kendall's face, and tear up behind her back. She knew that Kendall's defense was trashed. I was amused how just before that bit, it looked like Lena might've gotten a clue about Kinks. Kendall walks over to Bianca, Bianca immediately focuses on her, Lena realizes her presence isn't needed and books. I was wondering at first why Bianca wasn't leaving the courtroom with Kendall, but I figure she stayed behind just long enough to talk to Palmer and find out about his private jet offer. And Pervy didn't let us down--in she swoops on her white horse to carry Kendall away. *rowr* (Nice little bit of parallelism with two years ago when Kendall rescued Bianca from press vultures.)

Another bit of Kinks goodness--when Livia tells Kendall that they should talk about the offer in her office without an audience, and Kendall is all "Bianca can hear anything you have to say" with the implication that no way is her girlfriend leaving her side.

Oh, and Sally4th, your mom rocks. Hee.

Every time Erica got that dumbfounded (or was it just "dumb"?) look on her face and said "I don't understand!", from the court room all the way home with Myrtle, I had flashbacks to Miss Victoria Winters, clueless heroine of "Dark Shadows".

I also had to wonder if Erica was repeating that line during the whole car ride back to the apartment. No wonder Myrtle seemed to be looking for a bottle of scotch or something.
