All I can say is a big fat WORD to all the Erica bashing. I blame those around her just as much, though, for enabling her behavior. If they all just sucked it up and treated Erica like an ADULT who has to deal with shit that happens all the time in life, she wouldn't be as fragile as she is. Stop treating her with kid gloves already, she doesn't deserve it.

Hee. Except, of course, that with my work hours at my old job, I would never have been able to clear the time for a con. That three-hour lunch you and I had was a blue-moon exception. (I heard that my replacement in Houston ran screaming out the door after three months. And she actually had less of a workload than I did.)


You know, that could actually be a plot point of sorts. Michael and Kendall's condos are mirrors of each other, after all, plus if Kendall and Bianca were on the scene together that night, Kendall probably stashed Bianca in her condo for a little bit until someone, Reggie likely, could take Bianca home.

Which reminds me, I looked at the flashbacks, and thanks to Bianca clarifying that she saw someone hiding in the bushes, I realized the "ladder" is actually the trellis. (Makes a heck of a lot more sense than the killer climbing onto Michael's roof.) I snickered at how that jacket sleeve was pulled so far forward over the hand to try to conceal gender, age, whatever. That said, I'm wondering if it is Kendall that Bianca is seeing in the flashbacks. I don't think Michael was actually killed outside, and if AMC is going to actually explain how Kendall got that video clip of Michael that she put on the web, since we now know that Kendall didn't find a Michael lookalike that night, she just married Boyd--admittedly a big assumption--then I think Kendall might've ambushed Michael outside with the gun and forced him inside to tape that little video clip. The fact she unscrewed the lightbulb earlier might point to that also.

I'm actually looking forward to the Naggie assault today. It'll be good for snarking, and I do like that AMC/ABC's apparently pretty much lost their stupid inhibitions as far as kissing goes. No more promo'ing the shit out of such for ratings or making any kind of a big deal at all, really.

Oh, and Mystic0, I also giggled inappropriately at Kendall's reaction when Erica was yelling at her about raping Bianca. I ran her expression through the Pervy filter as, "Wait, that was totally consensual, and how the hell do you know about us anyway?" And yeah, Erica telling Bianca not to stand close to Kendall was also amusing for Pervy reasons, especially since Bianca kinda looked like she'd been about to take Kendall's hand in hers, since they're so used to grabbing each other All The Time that it's pretty damn near instinctive by now.

Well, there WAS the time that Erica dragged Bianca to a therapist for deprogramming and the therapist turned it around on Erica and her man issues. Erica reacted in typical Erica fashion and that was that.


99% of the time that would work. The problem is that Erica doesn't act like an adult whenever she is told about something, or otherwise finds out. Exhibit A: When Bianca told Erica she was gay. Exhibit B: When she heard that Bianca was pregnant. They shouldn't enable her, no, but it's also unrealistic to expect Erica to be anything other than Erica, too. Whether Erica is actually told by the person in question, or finds out on her own, her reaction is really no different either way. Sometimes someone acts like a child because people treat the person as a child, but sometimes it's the other way--people treat someone like a child because that person consistently acts like a child.

Did I just hear that right? Did Mia actually have the nerve to accuse someone of having limited brain power? I'd make a pot/kettle comment but I don't have the energy after expending it all laughing until I nearly peed myself.

Please tell me that ugly light blue dress Kendall had on was part of Greenlee's fantasy, and not what Kendall will be wearing for the next few episodes.

In that fantasy, I just loved the judge's delivery of the line: "The court finds you to be a scheming, lying, back-stabbing bitch." I laughed out loud at that.

But other than that, the fantasy was pretty disturbing. It appears Greenlee cares nothing of Kendall going to prison so long as she gets what she wants: Ryan and Fusion. Methinks Greens needs to consider that "scheming, lying, back-stabbing bitch" line do a little soul-searching, providing she even has one left.

Poor Bianca: Maggie's kiss shocked her eyes wide open. What, they're always like that?

I think I'm one of the very few but I was glad about the BAM kiss. Granted, Bianca didn't look too interested...at first. I think she's just in shock and it's a good way to start the triangle. Honestly though, I can't stand Lena and Bianca together and it has nothing to do with the fact I love BAM. It's more that it was so rushed and has so much less history/ meaning (to me at least). It seems unbelievable and they could have had a better character for Bianca. Lena would be great as her own character with a girlfriend that's not Bianca. I just feel that if they were going to do a triangle, why not have Sarah or Rain instead of Lena? Sarah has so much more believability and history as does Rain.


I have to say though as much as I love Maggie- she's been acting like an idiot.

Greenlee is a horrible troll from hell and if Kendall is too restrained to kick Greens vindictive ass tomorrow, I hope Bitchslap!Binky makes an appearance. Greenlee's fantasy was just evil.

The first playing of the Maggie assault was snort-worthy but the flashback? The funniest thing I've ever seen! Eden, baby, are you even trying? I hope like hell I wasn't supposed to read Bianca's reaction as anything other than WTF??? Speaking of barely trying, what is up with Liz? That scene that was supposed to convey Maggie's fear of losing Binks and her being overwhelmed by her feelings for Bianca enough to molest her was completely flat. I know Liz can actually act so I'm at a loss. Theories anyone?

I agree, I was glad about the kiss too. Poor Maggie, she's so confused. Why else would she kiss whiny Jamie?
And Palmer with Reverend Fred was way too funny. Personal space indeed.

I forgot to give Alicia props earlier. She did a really good job with some so-so dialogue. Plus I was digging on her snide glance at the judge when she said that the courts couldn't put Michael away. Nice touch, Alicia.

I thought that was the whole point of the Murder-on-the-Orient-Express-like unfolding of the storyline...but expand that theory to every person on the suspect list. I’m still grasping to the old theory that everyone except for the person who got to Mikey first (who is supposed to be revealed during Greenlee’s upcoming on-stand theatrics, right?) will either go on believing that he/she actually offed the bastard or continue suspecting everyone else on the list. And, despite spoilers that we’re going to get the slow-camera-freeze-frame on the actual murderer during Greenlee’s testimony and know what/who we’re looking at, I think McHack will manage to make even that ‘reveal’ as ambiguous as possible. I’ll believe otherwise when I see it.

I missed the initial “Maggie assault” (Hee!), but did hear what I thought was romantic-type background music during the flashback. WTF??? Or should I have stopped crunching on my chips and listened more carefully? At any rate, poor Bianca. With everything she's dealing with right now, she doesn’t need the added weight of Maggie's (real or imaginary) issues.

Well, I got access to a TV and got to watch today's ep rather than PBPing it. Heh. I could not stop snickering during most of it...

"Goodhearted Greenlee"--good thing I wasn't drinking something at the time. Shut up, Greenlee. And god, Mia is dumb. "M-R-S degree" is such a dated expression. What era does she hail from?

Maggie hitting Jamie--hysterical. And then her blitz-kissing him and his total "she's fucking crazy" expression. Yes, Jamie, she is crazy.

Simone looks lovely in purple. My guess is that she thinks that she shot Michael, but really shot Adam. I wanted to slap Tad when he told Simone that she could trust him. No, she can't, you fuckwit.

Ryan really annoyed me in his scenes with JP. I was happy that Kendall named his caveman bullshit for what it was as soon as JP was gone, but she needs to just dump him.

Kinks are completely out of control. Hee. All that eyefucking while Kendall was on the witness stand. And I died laughing when they hugged, because Bianca totally went in for a kiss and then turned her head just in time, no doubt realizing that incest wouldn't go over well with the jury.

But oh, did that dress ever suck. Every time Kendall stood up I cringed. Put the jacket back on, Kendall! I swear I would rather see one of her floral dresses than this horror. Livia--bad lawyer, leaving your client unattended! No cookie for you today. I loved her telling Kendall though that she would never, ever represent Kendall again. Livia has had it. I groaned when Kendall let herself be baited into testifying, but miracle of miracles, she actually pulled it off and had a semi-believable cover story, even. Mad props to Alicia--when she got to the line about "I am that child" I just about lost it.

I want to know how Eden makes her chin tremble like that. Very few actresses can do that reliably because the muscles involved are involuntary, and yet she does it on cue. It's unbelievable. Just lovely, subtle work from her today--in addition to the courtroom stuff, she carried the Bianca/Maggie scenes. If it had been left up to Liz and some other mediocre actress...I can't even imagine. Now we can finally snark on the Naggie kiss. Bianca was clearly not into it, and just surprised as hell. I loved that her eyes were open pretty much the entire time, before she got enough presence of mind to push Maggie away. I figured Eden would pull out a WTF? expression from her repertoire, and boy, did she ever deliver. Hee. Loved Maggie being all crestfallen when she saw Bianca wasn't happy and wasn't going to fling her arms around Maggie and declare her love. And then the final crushing blow when Maggie opened the door to find Lena there. I couldn't stop laughing. That's right, Maggie, Bianca doesn't want you. Not that way.

Oh, shoot, I missed the part of the episode that reveals Simone's involvement. Can anyone recap? Please?

I love Livia. Which of course means she's probably not sticking around past the trial, which is a bigger crime than that for which she's defending Kendall.

Since an “M-R-S” degree is the only kind Mia could ever hope to obtain, I see no problem with her being very familiar with and using the expression.



I never love JP more than when he’s in a scene with Ryan. Setting aside the fact that he murdered the Argentinean mob guy in cold blood (just go with it), JP seems to be the stoic, suffer in silence, turn the other cheek, non-confrontational type. He needs to get over that personality quirk and go REDRUM on Ryan’s ass. The constant spectacle of JP: International man of mystery and millionaire playboy having to take shit from Ryan: Failure Extraordinaire irritates me to no end.

JP was pressing Simone about what happened "that night" because somehow (that I must have missed) he knew that Carloser's gun (I don't know where that blockhead got a gun either) was the one that had shot the Asshole. So JP and Tad are grilling her about it, asking if Carloser had shot him and she got all defensive about the Great Memory of Carloser being tainted by being labeled a murderer and was all (paraphased) "He didn't shoot Michael, I did!"

Yep, you heard right. The romantic music combined with Bianca's very "Whuh?" reaction almost made me injure myself laughing. The only thing that saved me from a hospital visit was my shallow observation that Eden's eyelashes are longer than Greenlee's arms. I'm deep like that.



I actually thought she was surprisingly okay until she started freaking after Lena arrived. Poor kid looked all traumatized. She didn't look torn, she looked upset. I don't know if it was because she realized she's got yet one more fucking problem to deal with or maybe she was unsettled by uninvited sexual contact. It would be in character for Binks to set aside her intial reaction to try to take care of Maggie's well being, so I dunno.



JP achieved Mystic's TV boyfriend status for a moment when he caught the door Ryan was trying to slam and closed it himself with a "Fuck you, Asshole" expression. I can't get Ryan's reasoning on not pursuing the Carlos angle, every suspect can only help, right? Bastard.



Word. I always appreciate that Eden chooses to do low key acting instead of "Look at me!" when she can get away with it. Plus, she never tries to overshadow her acting partner when it's clearly the other party's big scene. I like unselfish actors, man. There are rumors floating around that Liz wants to leave the show ('course there are rumors that Eden won't renew too) if that's true, maybe that's why Liz is phoning it in lately. Who knows?

Heathen, it was at the very end. Tad was telling Simone that he would protect her and that she needed to tell him what had gone down. JP said something about how Carlos would have confessed instead of letting Kendall go to jail for something he did. Simone freaked and yelled that Carlos would never have confessed because he didn't do it--she did it. Fade to black...


Oh, that reminds me of a nice little JP bit (when I usually don't give a fig about him). Asshat Ryan ushers him out and tries to slam the door, only JP catches the door and closes it gently behind him, while Ryan's all confuzzled because he didn't hear the slam sound he was expecting and turns around and glares. Hee. Go, JP. (ETA: And Mystic0 and I think alike.)


While I agree on the utter insensitivity associated with blitz kissing a recent rape victim, I don't think Bianca was upset by that. We've seen her freak out over such and if that'd been the case, I think we would've gotten a pronounced reaction from her--jumping back or something. But she really just seemed concerned about Naggie and wanting to get the situation straightened out now...but Naggie was trying to flee and then Lena showed up, just really effectively making it all worse, because the last thing Bianca wants or needs is for this latest problem to snowball by having Lena get all upset about it. She may have been oblivious to the Lena/Naggie sniping, but she isn't stupid. Plus Binks remembered she needed to rush to the courthouse to be with her lov--er, sister.

Those simultaneous and identical posts by different people really crack me up.

Oh, and FYI, JP didn't know for a fact whether or not Carlos's gun had killed Mikey--no one can establish that for certain because the slug can't be identified. He just said that he knew Carlos's gun had been fired. I figure Carlos went over with the gun to scare Michael, Simone showed up to try to talk some sense into him, she took the gun away from him and accidentally fired it, hitting Adam. Then she and Carlos ran away, not realizing it wasn't Michael she'd hit.

Not my fault, man. I'm supposed to have sole possession of the brain on Tuesdays. Hee.

But by the end it was all Bianca Bianca Bianca. Obviously Ryan doesn't count. I don't think Kendall took her eyes off Bianca from the second Bianca entered the courtroom. Because the writers are completely unimaginative and have apparently forgotten that her sister Frankie did the same exact thing to Binks. Except that Frankie had worse taste, because she ran off to kiss Jamie's brother JR.

I liked that JR better than this Jamie, actually. So Frankie's still better than Maggie in all respects. (And of course, it's also different because Bianca doesn't care if Maggie's involved with someone else.)

Truthfully I'm not sure if Maggie's kissing Jamie out of confusion, or because she wants to save face in front of Bianca by bringing home a boyfriend. All "oh, ha ha, that kiss, that was just temporary insanity, see, I have a cute guy I adore!" She has egg on her face right now because Bianca isn't reciprocating, and she knows it.

How come we see the Naggie kiss TWICE in one episode when we see only 2 Lianca kisses over their whole "relationship" which is what almost 9 months since the airport kiss? I'm confused. I'm on the whole "simone had something to do with the murder but it wasn't just her" train. we can only wish that it was a Simone and Myrtle tag team effort.
The Kendall on the stand was actually really good even with the cheesy dramatic music in the background.
Also am I the only one who really wants to know who the killer is so we can know and end this storyline. Oh well at least we haven't had to deal with the Jamie/JR/Babe crap.

I dunno. I sort of like this new Jamie. I mean, I loved Greasy (did you all see him on Smallville?), but this new Jamie is so damn pretty. I'm just a sucker for a nice square jaw though.... I wish they had kept Greasy and brought on NuNuNuJamie in a different role. Where he isn't insane and stupid.

This Jamie is so dumb I generally can't think of him as pretty, though I do actually think he's been cute on occasion with Maggie. But Greasy was definitely the best Jamie ever. Sigh. I still utterly fail to see why AMC had to recast Jamie just because JY was going to play JR. I mean, look at the difference between Bianca and Kendall's ages--even though it's smaller than it should be, one is still clearly older than the other, plus Lena and Michael were also noticeably older than Bianca, but the whole Bianca/Lena/Michael/Kendall quad still looked fine onscreen. If AMC could get away with that, they could have gotten away with Greasy/Boobe/JY.

Yes, but that was the far more talented and much less obnoxious Jonathan Bennett as J.R. I saw him on L&O:SVU the other night and squealed, "Ooh! That's the good J.R. from two J.R.'s ago!" Coincidentally, that ep also featured the pretty little girl who played David's Hallucinated Leora last year. Seldom I watch an SVU ep without spotting an AMCer.

True. But JR is a little twit, no matter who plays him. I mean, Jonathan Bennett is adorable and obviously talented, but still....JR is a black hole of suck the way they write him.

So that was Jonathan Bennett on L&O SVU! I thought it was him! I thought he was cute when he was on AMC, but he's really yummy now.

I think a lot of the reason why the JR character doesn't work is because AMC has been in too much of a rush. They obviously want to get the Adam Jr. angle going when the character is still too young and callow for that, and rare is the actor of that age level who can handle such a task. But they can't SORAS him any more than they already have, because even with this JR, the idea of Dixie having a grown son stretches disbelief too much. AMC really needs to wait another seven to ten years to go the Adam Jr. route, and they don't want to.

I agree. I still remember that tiny little blond kid (who left to go do his singing career I think) a few years ago. The idea of a fully grown JR is just...wrong. They should've written good teenage JR plots that hinted at the magnificant bastard he could become.

Right now, watching Jacob Young try to be intense and threatening as a business man is just embarassing.

I'm home sick and saw about 5 minutes today - basically Greenlee and Mia lamenting that Kendall was going to get acquitted and get all of the men and Greenlee's little fantasy. Speaking of, I saw a BAM add on SoapNet that I had never seen before last night. Eden was in that silvery "Anything your rack can do, my rack can do better" dress and Liz was in that short red...thing. It was another one of those they're BFF, we swear!! ads. I just had to laugh knowing what was coming and how it wouldn't jive with the Friends 4 eva party line.
