Greenlee's totally gonna do that, isn't she? Damn.
I'm still blowing braincells trying to figure out what prompts Bianca to want to leave town. Kendall *must* be urging her to, for some reason, because I don't see any power in the 'verse getting Bianca to leave Kendall's side. They better not screw us out of the Kinks tomorrow after such a wonderful start at the end of today's show. Me too but only to wipe off her germs after I wring her neck. God she is annoying and it is wrong that she makes me ff through MEK's scenes but I just cannot stand her.

Do they want us to like Tad or not? Because honestly, this Tad the Cad shtick isn't playing as well as it used to. His lack of self control at this point in his life is appalling, and while I don't care in the slightest about Krystal, I don't want to see Simone and Liza hurt. Actually, perversely I wouldn't mind if AMC did something socially responsible here and had Tad contract a STD from Krystal, which he then passes on to Liza and Simone.
Unless it's the harbinger of some mid-life crisis ( which we kinda saw after Dixie's death) this
Tad Martin: Sex God schtick is way old. Is the audience supposed to be amused at a 40 something family man who can't help but get his brain caught in his zipper on a daily basis? It's like some misogynist's wet dream - not one but three attractive woman all chasing one hapless man in pursuit of commitment-free sex!
I can't help but speculate on what would happen if it was a female character in Tad's situation, especially in light of the fact that soap women are only allowed more than one partner under exenuating circumstances as it is (rape, amnesia, drunkenness, manipulation, recurring nymphomania, revenge, fleeing from an abusive lover etc) and that even then it's usually coupled with a big show of guilt and remorse. My guess is that the character would be written as the
Queen Slut of Slutsville and would have to be "redeemed" by the love of a "good" man or rape at the hands of an "evil" man in order to gain audience acceptance or empathy. Hell, look at how Babe and Krystal are written, not as women in touch with their sexuality and confident enough to express it, but as lying trailer park whores who use sex as a weapon or an easy way of getting what they want.
Yeah, I overthink, but damn I heart MEK and I don't want this storyline to kill my affection for his character.

If you throw in the extended friends of the family, you're also dealing with Aiden, Boyd, David, Maggie, Lena and the closer Myrtle. That's not going to be a fair fight at all. Greenlee's going to be toast. Something stupid has to happen with the camera in the shower scheme. There's no way they're going to see that through.

I agree, Kendall has to be urging Bianca to leave town. There's no way she'd go otherwise. But that still doesn't explain everything, because we all know Bianca doesn't do anything simply because someone else tells her to do it. Now obviously Kendall would want Bianca to leave town for Bianca's own protection, but that isn't necessarily a reason Bianca'd be down with, especially since I doubt Kendall would tell Bianca the real reason she needs protecting. They better not screw us out of the Kinks tomorrow after such a wonderful start at the end of today's show. That's it Binky, make Kendall feel all better...

I'm concerned that Bianca apparently leaves Kendall all alone with the rabid Mama Kane to stab. Binky! Bad girf--er, sister! Stay by Kendall's side at all times! God knows Kendall needs bodyguards...Someone please pass the Brain Bleach.
Here you go. I had to use a lot of it after the Little Beasty quip myself.
If you throw in the extended friends of the family, you're also dealing with Aiden, Boyd, David, Maggie, Lena and the closer Myrtle.
True enough. I left them out mostly because, with the exception of David, Greenlee doesn't care about any of them. She definitely cares about Jack's acceptance, and somewhere deep down I think she cares about Bianca, Reggie and Kendall's acceptance, and somewhere way, way deep down I think she even cares about Erica's. After the Kane-Montgomerys get through with her, she'll be beyond caring about whatever Aiden or Naggie or Lena might have to say to her.

Not to mention that Tad had evolved in his last relationship with Dixie, had really seemed to reach a new place in his life. Why would they think the fans want to see him backslide?
Keep Tad with Simone, put Liza with David or Ryan, and send Krystal back to that skanky loser she was so happy to be banging when she unfortunately first appeared on our defenseless TV screens.

...Too bad Edmund's tongue wasn't paralyzed. But his paralysis does mean no more Chesty/Beastmund sex scenes for a while. Very Good Thing.
Heh. Well, it's a good thing in the short term. But you just

Worlds of Word to the Tad the Cad hate. Aside from being disgusting…way to set an example for your teenage son, Tad. This just sets the stage for Jamie to (once again) throw Tad’s bedhopping history in his face when it’s time for the next Talk. Except now it's not just history. I can already picture Jamie's smug, self-satisfied smirk. Also, when Liza was cozying up to Tad today I swear I was also wondering why 1) Liza's so happy to settle for sloppy, Grecian formula soaked thirds and 2) nobody's chasing after her rich, newly-confident self. /parrot
It’s always so sweet when characters get in touch with their roots. Today we had Krystal at her home away from home, The Free Clinic. Of course, I’m sure it hasn’t been that long since her last visit. I fully expected/wanted desperately to see David’s unibrow disappear into his hairline while he perused Free Clinic Krystal’s file. I’m telling y’all, “She’s Hot!” was written all over that thing.
I lurve Judge Lampert and her limitless supply of Whupass. “Move. it. ALONG.” Heh. [OT] A coworker actually bought me a can of “Whupass” energy drink after a particularly stressful and problematic project. It sat proudly on my bookshelf for months and became a running joke around the office…

Now I'm trying to think of what would make Kendall send Bianca away and be convincing enough to get Binks to go. Even the baby's health was ruled secondary by Bianca in regards to Kendall's defense. Erica must be the linchpin somehow.

Greenlee's going to be toast.
And rightfully so, I don't mind people being bitchy and manipulative but it does bother me when they are being willfully stupid. I mean first the scene blaming everyone for Jack getting arrested before she found out anything that happened and then her telling Ryan that Kendall might have a foam belly in a way that was supposed to surprise him. Greenlee, you nearly watched as the two of them had sex a few days ago don't you think Ryan is capable of telling the difference between the real thing and a foam belly.

Why bother? It's so much more amusing cackling over the innuendo of various posts...besides, with Kinks it's damn near impossible anyway.
I'd be down for that 'cept I wouldn't want anything damaging the pretty. Can they just thumb wrestle or something?
True, no damaging the pretty--but it needs to be some sort of activity that'll get them all sweaty. ;)
I was thinking of Erica being the linchpin, but...if I'm piecing together the spoilers for next week correctly, first Erica tries to kill Kendall. Then Bianca tells Erica about the baby. Erica actually, gasp, tries to be supportive (I'm guessing that's what the "pleasant surprise" is for Bianca on Tuesday). In which case, why would Bianca be leaving town anyway? I mean, I'd understand if it was some sort of "OMG, my mother is literally going to try to stab me to death if I tell her I'm carrying the Assfetus" deal, but if Erica's attempting rationality, then it's harder. Plus it sounds like Bianca's made up her mind to leave town before she tells Erica about the baby, because there was that other spoiler that said something about Bianca telling Erica, but "did she tell her mother the whole truth?"
I'm guessing Bianca's plans to leave town has more to do with her flashbacks about the night Michael was killed. What though, I'm still not seeing. So far she's been very determined to get to the bottom of it all--some pleas from Kendall isn't going to stop her. But given Erica going kerplunk after trying to kill Kendall and then saying she doesn't remember it, I'm wondering if maybe Kendall convinces Bianca that Erica killed Michael and that Bianca needs to just leave town because if she stays, she'll eventually remember everything--i.e. she'll remember Erica killing Michael.

February Preview: All My Children from SOD
--------------
"Name the character and February affects them hugely," promises head writer Megan McTavish. I use superlatives all the time, but I really am very pleased with the month- with the payoff, with the emotion."
Killer Reveal: Michael's murderer will (finally) be named. "In the first week of the month, an astonishing thing happens. Greenlee does something cataclysmic that spins her- and the trial- into a whole different place. It unleashes the reveal about Bianca's baby. Erica's reaction to that is utterly right. It looks like Kendall will be convicted. Don't count anybody out."
Jackson/Erica: "Jack and Erica are affected by the reveal about the baby. Their relationship will crystallize... and yet there are new relationships forming."
Bianca/Lena/Maggie: "It's pretty clear we're on a voyage here with the three of them. Bianca is in love with Lena and Lena is devoted to Bianca, but Maggie is feeling things she didn't know she could feel. Something happens to crystallize this for Maggie."
Edmund/Maria/Brooke: "Edmund and Maria's adjustment to his injury is very realistic and powerful emotionally. They declare their love for each other, but they are facing a huge challenge. Brooke, who is Edmund's closest friend, is drawn into it. This triangle [gets] going again."
Anita's Return: "Anita comes back with some secrets about her life and about Bobby."
JR/Babe/Jamie: "Babe thinks she has the way to keep the man she loves, which, at this point, is JR. She makes a critical choice involving Paul from OLTL to solidify her marriage, but she has no idea what she's getting herself into."
Tad: "Mr. Tad is busy. He takes a critical part in the denouement of the murder mystery because Erica hires him... to investigate Erica."

Richard Shoberg reprises his role as Livia's husband, Tom Cudahy, on Wednesday, March 10, and Thursday, March 11. Shoberg had a brief role on GUIDING LIGHT last November.
Alan Campbell, a 1995 Tony Award nominee for Sunset Boulevard, plays the recurring role of Ellis Marshall, a doctor who finds himself at odds with Maria, starting Friday, February 6.
Soap newcomer Tanisha Lynn has been cast in the contract role of Derek's daughter, Danielle. She first airs Tuesday, March 9.

The show ended with a Kinks Cliffhanger!
Ohhhhhh.
What's with the Swinging Gaze of Love? Bianca and Kendall are out of control. Hee, Kinks.
That was all kinds of hot. I'll have to admit that I wanted Bianca to rush up to Kendall right that second and sweep her into an embrace, but, I hope that's what we'll get first thing tomorrow.
Please let that happen tomorrow. If we do get that, the delayed gratification will be
so worth it.
Those two were so doing it until Greens turned all bitchy backstabber.
You don't have to tell me that. I
know;) And you know, while I feel that there is no excuse Greenlee's behavior, taking for granted that Kenlee once shared a love that dare not speak its name, I sort of understand her motivations. Greenlee doesn't take rejection very well, never has. I think Greenlee sees Kendall's throwing her over for Ryan and not immediately suggesting a 50-50 split of Fusion as the ultimate betrayal (actually, this whole thing probably started with Kendall's refusal to merge Fusion and Enchantment, though Greenlee definitely should have known better--Kendall values--or did
at the time, that is--Erica's love and acceptance more than anyone's and would
never have sold her out for Greenlee or anyone else on Earth, for that matter. Overestimating the power of your sexual prowess there, Greenlee? Must have forgotten you were dealing with a Kane woman). Greenlee is lashing out at Kendall for not putting her first, considering that they were, in her words "a force". Selfish? Yes. In the extreme, considering that those Kendall sought to protect above her are all a part of Greenlee's new-found family. But, she's not thinking rationally right now, ya'll. Her little heart is broken, and she just doesn't know how to deal with it.
Given Greenlee's constant proximity to Mia, do you really have to ask that question?
Really. That Mia is a swirling vortex of stupid and it appears that she's contagious.
Get away from her, Greens, before something horrible happens to you. Bianca may not be your sister yet, but I'm sure she'd be more than willing to give you a good shove. She may not have a window, but she's a smart girl--she'd find one. Speaking of Greenlee's proximity to Mia:
A camera in Kendall's shower? Greens that's just sad...
*sigh* When I saw that, "Every Breath You Take" started playing in my head. Mia's been such a bad influence. That's no way to get her back, Greenlee. Two words for you, Kendall--restraining. order.
After the trial, I'm ready for Kinks to move in together. I want to see wacky middle of the night feeding/diapering hijinks.
Hee. Me too, man. Me too.
"If the situation was right and I felt a certain connection with the person, sure- as long as the person respects how important my work is to me."

Splendid. Still, it's all about her, so I'll continue to ignore it. I'll still snark it of course (and the time off will help, I'm sure), but it's so one-sided that making fun of it seems so infantile. Good thing I'm still 12.

Once again, I ask, what's the big fuckin' deal!!!? isn't everyone going to notice after a while- "oh shit, bianca has a baby! where'd you get that?" What is the big deal about the crazy minister? Is he supposed to prove that Kendall didn't marry BadMan? It seems like a whole lot of secrecy for no particular reason. But if Kendall married Michael Cambias, why does it matter if she is preggers? wouldn't she get all of his shit as his widow? and if not, wouldn't ryan get all of the shit because of alexander cambias? and since they're engaged does it even matter?
and is erica retarded? what was with the big I hate you speech? Didnt she just feel kendalls pillow, like, yesterday? is this show even trying to make sense?

Kinks. Yea! Those two are the best! The way Kendall's face melted when Bianca came into view? It was so sweet.

The beauty of Kenlee is, no matter how Greenlee went about "verifying the fake pregnancy," you can tie it right back to, "yeah, right, that's what you want." Anything involving Greenlee hiding a camera (or herself) somewhere Kendall undresses, is so not about finding the pregnancy pad--unless that's what the kids are calling it these days.

By the way, my apologies to blow-up dolls. Y'all do a loverly service.

Well, since Aiden's all over Kendall kissing him today, Mia's kind of deficient. Still good crater material though.

Speaking of the New Tad the Cad, ( by the way I totally agree that he is being no more than a manwhore and I need Visine Bleach when I watch) anyone else notice that his hair, which was going grey, is now all brown again? Hmmmmm. Just for Men, do you think?

It’s always so sweet when characters get in touch with their roots. Today we had Krystal at her home away from home, The Free Clinic.
BWAH!
Honestly, I'm glad I don't live in NYC, I'd hate to be out walking the streets someday, see MEK and get arrested for trying to bleach the man's genitals in an hysterical fit of failure to seperate the man from the character.
Heh....you know, years ago, I did see MEK on the streets of NYC. Actually, it was inside a comic book store. He was perusing the coffee table art books. I, being a combination of big loser and blase New Yorker, didn't approach him, but instead decided to persue the books right next to the ones he was looking at. I just stood there for a while and basked in the glow.
You know how crazy fans send crap to stars to get their message across? Maybe we should send MEK boxes of condoms. :P

I laughed my ass off at Mia's expression when she saw Kendall and Aidan kissing, and then Livia (unknowingly) shutting the door in her face. Priceless.
The Swinging Door Look of Love was as good as y'all promised. Mystic0, you were right on about it being such a typical romantic situation. Speaking of such, I cackled gleefully at all the lovely wide shots earlier during the trial that showed Kendall and Livia, and in the open space behind them, who's there? Is it Kendall's Frankenbrow fiance? No. Is it her husband Boyd? No. Is it the other guy she's got on her string, Aidan? Noooooooo. It's her lov--er, sister, Bianca. Heh heh. The Pervy Team is so sexually confused...
It's pathetic, but I had to rewind and replay the judge's "Move it along" several times over, especially her second one to Livia. I just love how Leslie Hendrix delivers her lines. I snickered when Livia was saying "munchkin" to Naggie, seeing as how there are so many midget women running around PV (Naggie included). Then when the judge told Livia to "Move it along" and Livia carried on with, "So you saw these two regular-sized people" I just had to laugh some more. And is it me, or was Lena just way too happy about Naggie incriminating hereself? Snerk.
So Kendall and Boyd are married. That answers that question. And I like that the defense is able to get away with pointing out what a fricking fruitcake the reverend is...but then everyone trashing Greenlee for her supposed role in the reverend is what causes her to expose the pregnancy lie. Okay, that makes some sense. I do like that Greenlee decides not to hurt Kendall the first time--it's a small little thing to keep her character from being completely trashed. It's also completely in character that, having gotten herself in trouble for one thing, she promptly goes out and does something even worse. If she thought everyone was mad at her before, wait until she does that--and then, of course, because it apparently leads to the truth about Bianca's pregnancy coming out, that means on top of everything else, Greens will be finding out also that her cousin is the true owner of Fusion. Heh heh. Gee, I don't think Bianca's going to let Greenlee throw her a baby shower, do you?
Erica hires Tad to investigate herself? I'm not even going there. I think this officially screams that Erica's a red herring. Whoever killed Michael, it wasn't Erica.
At least McTrash finally talks about Bianca's feelings, and she got them right--Bianca's in love with Lena. She doesn't say anything about Bianca possibly developing feelings for Naggie, so I don't mind the February triangle talk. I still think Naggie's just going to be an obstacle for Lianca and nothing McTrash has said thus far goes against that. In which case, bring it on. Anything that'll result in Naggie eventually being smacked down by Bianca and Lena (and maybe protective girlf--er, sister Kendall) is okay by me.

Mystic0, you were right on about it being such a typical romantic situation.
Doesn't that just add to the yumminess? Kinks just keeps getting more and more blatant. Every time I think Pervy has gone as far as he can possibly go, he kicks it up a notch. And I, for one, am grateful. Kinks really
must move in together. I hope poor Fridge can survive two Kane women pawing at it. Heh. Well, just one more hour to go before today's offering.
I'm still trying to get all the new spoilers into some kind of order in my head but did you see anything that might add up to Binky's wanting to leave town? I guess that's really moot since she obviously isn't going anywhere but I'm pointlessly curious.
I don't know what McT is going for with the B/L/M triangle since nothing is indicating that Bianca wants Maggie. I'm just chalking it up to McT's penchant for re-doing things herself. She didn't get to kill BAM, so she's recreating it (somewhat) so she can kill it her way. Since I doubt they'll gay up Maggie beyond her Bianca jones, that theory is all I've got.
As for Greens, if she wasn't being such a stupid bitch, I'd pity her. Kendall and Binks will never forgive her and I highly doubt Reggie will either. With Binky at the helm, Greenlee will never be able to set foot in Fusion again. You just don't fuck with family (Hee, Kinks aside) in Binky's world. Erica already hates her and I'm guessing Jack will be pissed but forgive Greens.
I reeeeeally want to know what the fallout with Erica will be. I had assumed it was the Kendall stabbing but she doesn't know about the baby till later. Any idea?

Kinks really must move in together.
Word, and they must do it before the trial's over. Imagine the late-night comforting as Kendall dreads the upcoming verdict, plus greeting each other's dates at the door with warnings and curfew injunctions. Ah, Kinks.
From the piecing together I'm doing of the spoilers...we now know for sure that the Naggie assault comes Tuesday, when Bianca's already decided to leave town, so it must be related to the fallout of the ep before with Erica trying to stab Kendall and then blocking it out. Apparently Bianca doesn't tell Erica about the baby until Friday's ep, while Greenlee busts up Kendall's pregnancy scam on Wednesday's ep, so perhaps it really is a "you need to leave town and not let Erica find out you're pregnant, because she will literally try to stab you to death if she does" deal. And we don't know when Bianca is planning to leave town--she might tell Naggie that she's going to wait until after the trial and then leave. Apparently the prosecution is resting already since Kendall testifies--sigh--next week, so in Kinks's viewpoint it's only a matter of a couple more days before the trial's over.
No idea what the fallout with Erica will be, though it does appear that she's going to be very upset about the fact everyone else knew before she did. Which I just find amusing as hell. Whine away, Erica.

Six minutes into the show and Bianca's checked out Kendall's rack 3 times and they've EyeShagged during VolderBaby touch. Can you get pregnant from that?
Ah, Kinks.

And Mia? Still Desperate City for that dolt.
ETA - More from Beth at SON:
The Bianca/Maggie/Lena triangle will continue, as Maggie's feelings for Bianca become clear
Which way will it swing, I wonder...*yawn*

I had to check to make sure that we weren't getting robbed of Kinks scenes today after Pervy's beautiful set-up yesterday... ;)
Mia is like Naggie--their only amusement value is in watching them goggle with jealousy over other people (oh, plus Naggie's wardrobe). Maybe Liza can make the next attic-shoving a twofer. Imagine if Naggie was in a kimono as she went flying...
ETA: I always figured Bianca probably feels she has enough of a rack for two. That isn't Lena's strongest attribute either (though she surpasses Kendall, at least), and Bianca usually looks elsewhere when checking Lena out. My favorite time is still the day she set Lena up--she knows Lena is lying to her, she's tired of the evasions and aware that Lena's probably about to betray her, but when Lena bends over to fiddle with the bags, Bianca still checks her out with a smirk. Such a "She's a lying liar, but I wonder if it would be so wrong to just shove her against the sofa and take her now anyway" kinda look.
