Black Knight
The hand that reached inside Jack's safe was not Bianca's.

AMC wouldn't necessarily have used the actual actress, whether it be Susan, Alicia, or Eden, so that isn't relevant. Stunt!Hand. Hee.

I remember the gun has Michael's blood on it, and it must be Kendall's hair/fibers, because her fingerprints are already on file. The police arrested her only after searching her place, even though they'd had the gun for a little while beforehand, because the search warrant is what enabled them to get hair and fiber samples to use to match to the gun.

That said, I agree a good defense attorney can use the uncertainty of whether that's the gun that actually killed Michael, plus the boatload of other people who hated him, to create reasonable doubt for Kendall. What's actually hampering Livia, in a way, is Kendall's insistence that she married Michael in Vegas. If Kendall hadn't been blaring that from the start, she'd have a much easier time. She'd just be one of a hundred suspects. But saying she married Michael slaps a huge red bullseye on her back because it goes against the time of death, and so why's she lying? But it's far too late for Kendall to be able to go back now. She concocted the marriage scheme in order to try to conceal Michael's death entirely to protect Bianca and Erica, and now she's trapped. The only explanation Kendall can give a jury for lying other than "because I did it" is that she was protecting the real killer--which is illegal in itself, a boatload of charges such as obstruction of justice, tampering with evidence, interfering with a police investigation, etc.--and besides, Kendall will never allow her attorney to present Bianca as a suspect.

The police have overlooked a boatload of suspects, not just Bianca:

Only Maggie, really (see, she's invisible to everyone! Hee). And while that's certainly an oversight, I agree, it still doesn't compare to the police overlooking Bianca entirely, because Bianca has the best motive of anyone. I mean, there's just no excuse, even for soap opera police, to not be investigating her as a suspect. If Anna were still the police chief I could buy it, but Derek hasn't shown much inclination to play that game.

ETA: McTrash is very much from the Torture-Characters-Endlessly school of writing, so Binks as killer fits right in. That said, I doubt that Bianca would get into much trouble in the end, because I'm pretty sure she did it either to defend herself or defend her sister. Kendall's cover-up, I think, is largely because she's afraid that because Bianca has such strong motive, the police won't believe that it wasn't murder. Kendall doesn't trust the police or legal system a whit.

I find the detail of what hand reached into the safe to be fairly important since both Kendall and Lena have that same mark on their wrists: at the time, I remember wondering if they had done that on purpose so that we'd wonder which of the two had stolen Jack's gun. Yeah, it's a soap, I know.

I agree that Kendall has painted herself into a corner and probably because she thinks Bianca did it and wants to protect her. If I remember one of your past posts correctly, BK , you said you think Kendall has insisted with Bianca that she married Michael so that Bianca would not wonder whether she herself (Bianca) is the killer. That, coupled with the fact that Bianca was never interrogated (you're right to say they should have and not just accepted Reggie's word that the two of them were together all night) would seem to indicate Bianca is the killer - and that is why I absolutely understand why so many people, on this board and others, think she is.

If Bianca is the killer, it would make sense for her to have blocked it out becasue of the trauma and because it's such an unthinkable proposition for her to resort to violence that of course she would have erased it from her memory but that, for me, is another 'meh' solution.

I just wonder whether they have everything pointing in that direction on purpose, though, just to lead us off-track. To me, Juan Pablo would be a more interesting choice for a killer than Bianca - and that's saying a lot.

Okay, I admit I've not watched AMC in ages because I'm so completely over this Cambius mess. Today, however, I am watching. Boy is it weird seeing the medical examiner from Law & Order being the judge in Kendall's trial.

That's all. Please resume your conversation.

Oh yes, sweeper, that website is hysterical! I haven't laughed so much since last week's The Apprentice when Sam was asleep on the floor.

[embarrasing admission] I actually do care who the killer is. [/ea]

Interesting back and forth about who the killer is, guys. I do think it's reeeeeeeeally lookin' like Binks did it but I really don't want it to be her. I fall into the Bianca has had enough bad shit happen to her camp, not that that changes anything. She probably did do it but I'm hoping for some twist, like maybe she's blocking out *seeing* the murder. If it were someone she loves who did it, perhaps that would be traumatic enough to force her mind to protect itself. I'm in denial, I know. That said, I won't be pissed if she is the one to have done it but I'd rather she isn't. Give Binks a break, man. Didn't she already kill that guy who kidnapped her? I don't remember if she actually did or just thought she did. Anyone know?

My thoughts on today's show:

The judge rocked as usual. Greens keeps climbing higher and higher on my list of characters I'd merrily choke to death. I wasn't a big fan of Priest Nuttypants but getting to ogle Aidan is always a bonus. Lena looked uber hot on the jury panel. Speaking of Lena, were we supposed to be getting a vibe that she doesn't want Binks to go hiring a sherpa to delve into her subconscious because she knows something? Or was she just being protective, not wanting Binky to take too much on? Lastly, Eden kicked ass in that last scene. Too bad I'm going to have to spend most of tomorrow's ep weeping over Binky's fugly shirt.

All the talk of Bianca as potential killer is wearing me down - but GAH! I hope not! Actually, if she is, I assume Erica DOES know, and the reason Binks has no memory is due to David dosing her with his magic concoction. Hence, the rest of their secret.

My wish?

To have Myrtle to have shot Micheal but right before she does, to say...

"Do you feel lucky punk?"

Absolutely Perfect.

Oh Lordy, that is hilarious.
Honestly, I just don't really give a flying flip who killed Assicle. I'm so tried of McTrash jerking us around with this bullshit story line. I mean, who cares now!

My wish is Myrtle. That's it.

From several pages ago: I saw Eden dance in Carousel at Carnegie Hall (starring Hugh Jackman, which is why I was there ;). That was ballet, though, so maybe it's "contemporary" dancing that is the problem. Heh.

And speaking of Hugh Jackman productions featuring AMC actors in supporting roles (*grin*), I saw "The Boy From Oz" on Broadway last week. Mitchel Federan, aka Petey Cortlandt, plays Hugh as a boy, and let me tell you, he is AWESOME. Not only is he a great singer, but he's an incredible dancer -- did an amazing tap dance routine that had the audience cheering, and did gymnastics to boot. He did a roundoff off the top of a piano, people. The kid's a star. He was the only actor who made you forget even for a moment that Hugh Jackman was on the stage. I got the biggest kick out of it.

If the POTB have Greenlee do something that could result in Kendall being sentenced to death, I think it might completely destroy Greenlee's viability as a likeable character. They've done a pretty good job already.

I was thinking about this the other day. They went to the trouble to show Greenlee has developed a genuine affection for Bianca, partly out of their common bonds (Jack and Leo), and partly, I think, out of respect for her strength. I'm thinking that what is going on with Greenlee now is the reason for that development. How is she going to feel when/if she does unmask Kendall's fake pregnancy, only to find that all of this was being done not for the money and power, but to protect Bianca's pregnancy and her possible responsibility for Michael's murder? They could be building this toward some major character issues for Greenlee. Or, they could just be suckass writers.

Speaking of Lena, were we supposed to be getting a vibe that she doesn't want Binks to go hiring a sherpa to delve into her subconscious because she knows something? Or was she just being protective, not wanting Binky to take too much on?

Despite everything that's happened, I think Lena still has Bianca on a pedestal, and doesn't suspect Bianca might be capable of murder. Lena enjoys trying to be Bianca's protector, part of her dreamscape yesterday, and I think that it would shock the hell out of her to realize that St. Binky would kill another person, even Michael. I think that her downplaying of the amateur psychobabble today was another of her tries to protect Bianca from further mental anguish. She seemed confident that any dream talk Maggie was indulging was too painful to revisit.

AMC had the sense to showcase this in their What Women Want episode a year or so ago. Mitchel is one talented kid, I agree.

Hmmm, what could it be...

I was out of town for the three-day weekend. I'm like two days behind on watching so I have nothing else to add. Carry on.

I think the traffic was so heavy at Michael's the night of his murder that somebody probably tripped over someone, or all the suspects fell over like dominoes, a gun went off, and they all agreed to a cover up. At this point I'm trying to figure out who didn't see something at the murder scene since half of Pie Balley was there. I think Lena truly doesn't know what's up and didn't see anything because she wasn't there for the Town Meeting at the Cambius condo. The fact that the police never interrogated Maggie is ridiculous which is why it may figure in Megan's resolution of this "riveting" murder mystery. But if anybody involved took the "Forget the Murder" juice, it's Binky. She wouldn't necessarily have to be the killer, but Dr. Dave and family would not want her to remember the trauma of the killing, whoever did it. If it's St. Binx or another regular character who killed him, I suppose they could even paint it as self-defense or defense of another person. I just know the denouement will suck because it's Megan's way. And the worst part is we'll know the killer soon, and we'll still have to sit through Kendall's trial.
Word to whoever said AMC lacks a villain since DeVry left.

That was ballet, though, so maybe it's "contemporary" dancing that is the problem. Heh.

I’ve known a few ballet dancers and none of them could dance. I don’t know why. I think they just have a very different way of moving to music and it’s hard for them to think, or let their bodies, move differently.

Anyway, as to all the speculation on who killed the asshat…

One thing I can tell you-when we find out who killed Michael late next week, that character will leave the show

Oh sorry, spoiler is from http://www.soaptownusa.com/dl.html via the SS.

Right on, he rocked that scene. I luuuuuuuuuuurve me some Kinks (More Kinks tomorrow, yay!) and am diggin' on Kendall's character growth, but I do miss Nanny Kendall. I hope somewhere down the line we get another Petey/Kendall scene.

I blanked earlier and forgot to give Lucci some 'spect, also, for doing a good job in that closing scene. When she wiped the tears off Bianca's face, it was such a natural mother thing to do. I don't know if it was scripted or not, but if it wasn't, that was a nice touch on Lucci's part. She does the mother thang well sometimes. I really liked how that scene showed the different ways the two women approach dealing with painful issues. Erica's all "Bury it! Bury it deep!" and Bianca knows that isn't the way to go. (The irony being that it seems that's just what Bianca did do, about something anyway.) The contrast between them is always interesting. Bianca loves her mother so much but recognizes that her mother is beyond useless in helping her, even though they went through the exact same thing. I feel bad for Erica in a way. She wants to help but only knows really unhealthy and damaging ways to cope, so Bianca has to reject it. It's a nice underlining of how foreign a child can be to a parent. Despite the fact that the two love each other, their whole relationship is just damn sad. Intriguing to watch, though.

Thanks for the linkage, itsnotenough . What's interesting about it is that, back in the summer, that same spoiler about the killer being eventually axed from the show was also going around.

The "blind item" in the column could be about that "controversial" story for David that we heard so much about.

ETA: Bianca declared her love for Lena again today - in no particular order. How many times does that make now?
SkiffyPup
I think D.rDavid and Erica gave Bianca "ForgetMeNutz" ( ™ SkiffyPup) potion too, and I think Lena knows it. Or Olga has no idea where they are going and just gave her lines today the most interesting take possible, just in case.

Oh, and Lena lied to the cops about when she threw Big Shiny Gun in the river, but I believe her gun aversion story because of how her hand trembled in her dream and how Ashat called her coward.

Welcome, Silver Kane! I just knew when I posted the AMC Couch Baron story in RR that you'd end up here!

PS- "Petey" also did his broadway song and dance on TV during the Macy's Christmas Day Parade. Talented young boy. Wow.

FYI- FWIW- Budig said on OUTQ that she hasn't had Binks/Greens and she would like some. So don't hold your breath to see that soon.
"Bianca breaks a nail" was one of the best scenes all fucking year. Can't have more of that then. PTB tools.

Bianca declared her love for Lena again today - in no particular order

I don't know how many times Bianca has said she loves Lena, but if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time she's said it in front of Lena.
regis
Man, I'll never get tired of giggling at Erica's perfectly made-up face as she wakes up.

Hey, who ripped the holes in the shoulders of Lena's top? And more importantly: WHY? Did she get stuck ducking under some barbed wire? Was she trying to slash her wrists but aimed too high? I can't imagine that it was a deliberate fashion choice. Whoever designed that awful idea needs help.

Hello forced awkward moment as Lena sat on the couch with her head down waiting for her name as Bianca reeled off the list of people she loved. Why put Lena last? And then the stupid "in no particular order" line? Ugh, the sad part is that people actually get paid to come up this stuff.

I liked Aiden and the crazy man. Yay for flax seeds!

Nope, it's the second time. The first time, they were at Myrtle's and Bianca was talking to Erica about her attempts to get Lena deported. Lena was holding on to the banister when Bianca referred to Lena as "the woman I love."

Not that I pay attention to details or anything.

[embarrasing admission] I actually do care who the killer is. [/ea]

Right there with ya, Mystic0. For all that the murder mystery has definitely dragged on too long, I've enjoyed the character dynamics and all the interweaving plotting throughout. But then I have a love for the byzantine and I enjoy murder mysteries. And more than anything, I care because I want to cheer who did bump the Asscicle off. Good on ya, Killer. Let me take you out for a drink.

itsnotenough, that spoiler conflicts with another spoiler that says that we'll find out this week. So, who knows? I'm not familiar enough with Soaptown to know if their spoilers are generally accurate.

Speaking of Lena, were we supposed to be getting a vibe that she doesn't want Binks to go hiring a sherpa to delve into her subconscious because she knows something?

I think first, it was Lena's day to be a red herring (along with Erica), and second, as I posted yesterday, I think her nightmare was very much about Michael putting thoughts into her mind that Bianca might have killed him. He knows that Lena didn't shoot him--that business with the gun was kinda perfunctory, because he knows that she already had her murder plan all set up. Lena's actually been floating along pretty happily lately--she's making headway of all kinds with Bianca, who's all but said that they will get back together, she's got a good job, and Erica's being nice to her. The future looks bright. And theeeeeeen up pops First Evil Asscicle, telling her that Bianca belongs to him now and always. Basically indicating that something is lurking that could destroy Bianca, and thus Lena's happiness. I agree with what boris said about Lena having Bianca up on a pedestal--I don't think she'd ever come to the conclusion that Bianca might have killed Michael on her own, especially since she's seen Bianca's reaction to Kendall being arrested, but I do think she'd come to it with some prodding, especially once she figured out that Binks might not remember. She isn't dumb.

Maggie of course has been a bitch right along, but Lena's snarkiness is getting blunter now. "Amateur Freud"? Bwah! I snickered at Bianca walking out while Lena and Maggie were arguing. It's like I've been saying, this is why AMC has the triangle on "simmer" instead of steaming ahead with it. Bianca simply doesn't give a shit right now about anything other than her sister's murder trial and her pregnancy. If Maggie went and confessed her feelings now, Bianca'd probably be like, "My sister's on trial for murder and you want me to choose between you and Lena?! Find a stepladder and get over yourself!" And notice how quickly Maggie is jumping to embrace the idea that Lena might be the killer. First, it gets Lena out of the way. Second, it means Binks didn't do it. I think Maggie's been concerned about the latter because there was something that made her try to get Bianca to leave for Europe the very next day after Michael's disappearance.

So Bianca can remember the sound Michael's belt made when he took it off? I have a feeling that's going to come into play. He probably took it off while fighting with Kendall and a gun-toting Bianca heard and freaked.

ETA:

In the interest of details, Bianca actually said "the person I love." ;-) Not that I'm obsessive about Lianca scenes or anything.

I think the Love Profession count is at 2. #1 -- occurred in front of Lena, Myrtle, and Erica (at Myrtle's) during the period when Erica tried to have Lena deported but was foiled in her attempt by Greenlee and Grandaddy granting Lena a j-o-b. BTW, Lena must have endeared herself to Grandaddy what with her up and leaving him for Kendall. Another storyline dropped. Today was #2.

ETA: Nevermind.
ETA 2: FWIW, that's all I got from Lena's dream too, CKD.
CKD
And theeeeeeen up pops First Evil Asscicle, telling her that Bianca belongs to him now and always. Basically indicating that something is lurking that could destroy Bianca, and thus Lena's happiness.

I have a much more limited interpretation of that. Lena's fear - and regret - is that she could not protect Bianca from Michael: I took Asshat's taunts to refer to that and, possibly, to the baby.

In the interest of details, Bianca actually said "the person I love." ;-) Not that I'm obsessive about Lianca scenes or anything.

Bwah! Thank god I was referring to the banister. ;)
Black Knight
Bianca also said to Lena on the night of Voldemort, "That's one of the things I love about you," so this isn't quite the third time. Maybe 2 1/2?

I really liked how that scene showed the different ways the two women approach dealing with painful issues. Erica's all "Bury it! Bury it deep!" and Bianca knows that isn't the way to go. (The irony being that it seems that's just what Bianca did do, about something anyway.)

I think the trick is that Bianca does understand that when her mind starts bringing up the flashbacks, it's because she's ready to deal with it. Pretty much the same thing happened with Frankie's murder--she initially blocked out finding Frankie's body, but when she started flashing back, she did everything she could to dig out the rest of the details. Meanwhile I remember a hilarious moment of Erica and Opal in jail where Erica was yelling at Opal not to wear her butterfly pin around Bianca and Opal pointed out that spring was coming, and Bianca was going to see butterflies outside. La Lucci got this priceless look on her face where you could just see Erica mentally calculating the possibility of stashing Binks in a small, windowless room for months.

Anyway, word to what you said, Mystic0. The best example for me is Michael's rape hearing. While Bianca was testifying, Erica was telling her not to look at Michael. Erica didn't understand that that was giving Michael power. But Bianca looked right at him and told him off. She didn't break down; she actually got stronger. It was something she'd really needed to do.

And that's why I'm actually not at all bothered by Bianca as killer. Throughout all this, she's beaten herself up constantly for not having been stronger that night, for having let the rape happen. If she came in on Michael trying to rape Kendall, and shot him, I think that may actually do wonders for her psyche in the end, to know she saved someone else. I don't think she's blocking out killing him because she's guilt-stricken. She's made it abundantly clear she has no problem with the facts that he was killed and that someone she loves did it, and that she doesn't want to see the killer go to prison for it. I don't think anyone feels guilty for what they did that night, except maybe "it was an accident!" Simone, ironically enough.
Mystic0
Lena's snarkiness is getting blunter now.

Word. Lena was in no mood for Maggie's bullshit today. Those two have one hell of a catfight waiting in the wings. Lena shocked me today, man. It was kinda funny to watch. Lena and Mags were one step away from out and out scratching each others eyes out and Bianca didn't hear a word of it. Hee! I can imagine Lena and Mag's dislike steadily escalating while Binks is blissfully oblivious. Then, after the trial, Bianca will have a nice explosion waiting for her. Hee squared! Oh, please accept some props on the prediction that Bianca will find herself living with two people. Lena ain't budging. (snicker) You stake that claim, HPF!

I think Maggie's been concerned about the latter because there was something that made her try to get Bianca to leave for Europe the very next day after Michael's disappearance.

Ooh, never thought of that. Today gave me whiplash. I thought "Aha! Lena knows!" but.....no. Then I was convinced Maggie knows but then why would she try to help Binky remember? After that, I was all "Aha! Erica knows!" only to realize I had absolutely nothing to base that on. Can't wait to see Kendall's reaction tomorrow. Brainstorming can be used to sidetrack people, right? ;)

So Bianca can remember the sound Michael's belt made when he took it off? I have a feeling that's going to come into play.

(weeps) That was sad. I don't think I'm emotionally ready to learn anymore Voldemort details. But, since I'm not, your spec will probably come about just to torment me. Bastards.

Thank god I was referring to the banister. ;)

Hee!

I know I'm late with this, but damn, is Erica a shitty mother! If I have to hear, "Just forget everything, honey" one more time, I'm going to scream. How is blocking everything out going to help? I guess if Binks wanted to be a coldhearted, overly-ambitious, self-involved little twit who was constantly living in denial, then blocking it out would be the perfect thing to do, but god...obviously, she's stronger than that.

I know these people aren't real, but goddamn.
Black Knight
I have a much more limited interpretation of that. Lena's fear - and regret - is that she could not protect Bianca from Michael: I took Asshat's taunts to refer to that and, possibly, to the baby.

Yeah, I can see that. The reason for my broader speculation is because Michael made such a point of reinforcing that Bianca belongs to him always. He's dead. He raped her once. Yes, it was devastating. Yes, Bianca's still recovering, but she is recovering. She's laughing and dancing with Lena. There's really no reason for Lena to be worrying at this point about whether Bianca is Michael's forever--unless, of course, she's thinking about the baby there. Now Lena has said that babies are about love and that she's not bothered by the paternity. It'd be interesting if it turned out that she's lying, but I don't think she is. I think First Evil Michael very much wanted Lena to realize that Bianca's still in danger, because she killed Michael. And perhaps that's where regret would once again enter the picture for Lena--she tried to kill Michael, but her plot was a time-delayed one. Michael was shot before he could take the poisoned pills. And Lena had a gun, but she couldn't bring herself to shoot him. We saw her hand shaking in the nightmare, plus he called her a coward. It's interesting that the whole first segment of Lena's nightmare dealt with her own attempt at murder, that didn't come off as she'd hoped. Someone, probably Bianca, shot Michael first. In Lena's mind, that may well qualify as her having fucked up once again.

Oh, please accept some props on the prediction that Bianca will find herself living with two people. Lena ain't budging. (snicker)

Yeah, I laughed at that too. Just how long until Lena moves the toothbrush in, I wonder? I can just see her and Maggie fighting over everything in sight while oblivious Bianca keeps rushing to her lov--er, sister's side. Hmmm...just who are really the oblivious ones here?

Brainstorming can be used to sidetrack people, right? ;)

Hee. Let's hope that whatever brainstorming Kendall does involves removing Bianca's apparently-awful polka dot shirt.

I don't think I'm emotionally ready to learn anymore Voldemort details.

That reminds me, it's interesting that Bianca's talking about it more, at least to Erica. That's the second time in two weeks that she's told Erica something about the night of Voldemort. Hmmmmm. If she's starting to feel more comfortable with talking to her mother about it, she may be approaching the point where she's ready to talk with Lena about it. But if Bianca finds out about the suicide attempt, OTOH, I can see her deciding it'd be best not to upset Lena with additional details of Voldemort.

Yeah, as much as they deeply need to talk about it, I don't know that they ever really will. I think that 'Lianca' is really another word for 'communication issues'. Between Lena's very sweet, but ultimately stunting, habit of cutting Binks off with reassurances every time Bianca tries to talk and both of them 'protecting' each other to death, they'll never get anything sorted out. Plus, it's gotta be a bitch even approaching the subject matter for both of them. Can they sign up for joint therapy even though they are in couple's limbo?

Let's hope that whatever brainstorming Kendall does involves removing Bianca's apparently-awful polka dot shirt.

Hey, it worked last time.

I've told ya'll Erica, Erica Kane has read "The Joan Crawford Method To Successful Parenting" from cover to cover.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that she has a few wire hangers stashed in her Fendi bag.
onlyinPV
During Bianca's dream, when she's running around trying to "find it", Erica tells her to stop looking "or you'll hurt me." Does this mean that Erica did the deed, Bianca subconscioulsy knows, and is repressing the memory to save her mother? Or did Bianca do it and "you'll hurt me" refers to the hurt Erica will endure if Bianca remembers and confesses?

Just trying to stir up controversy!
SkiffyPup
I think the shadow Bianca briefly recalled at the end was Erica's big hair(ing) ... a red hairing! I don't think Erica shot asshat, but she may go on trial. They know an Erica trial is always a ratings winner.
Black Knight
I think that 'Lianca' is really another word for 'communication issues'.

It's almost as if they communicate best when they're broken up and fighting. For one thing, it's the only time Lena ever brings up issues herself. The rest of the time, it is left entirely up to Bianca to decide how open she's going to be and how much she's going to push Lena to be open, which given her liking for mysterious women and her desire for them to trust her, is "not near enough". Bianca always wants her shady girlfriends to come to her when they've decided that they can trust her enough to open up, so she doesn't push them until she absolutely has to, which bit her in the ass with Frankie and it bit her in the ass with Lena. At some point you'd think she'd learn, but I also think that it adds an interesting dimension to the character, because Bianca actually has that policy with everyone. For instance, this murder mystery. Binks knew that David and Erica were faking their love affair, but she let it slide until Kendall was arrested, at which point she showed up at Erica's and made it crystal clear she knew that they were faking and demanded to know what they were hiding. Or, Bianca has asked Kendall periodically about whether she really married Michael, again until Kendall was arrested, because her entire defense hinges on her having married Michael. So now Binks is leaving it alone.

onlyinpv, either interpretation works. Since I think Bianca did it, I'm going with the latter interpretation, of course. She does always worry about the effect of everything she does on her mother. And, keep in mind, Dream Asscicle wants Bianca to find "it". What's a great way to help persuade Bianca to do anything? Have Erica come out against it. Notice that DreamBianca wasn't terribly moved by DreamErica's pleas.

That reminds me, if Erica does suspect that Bianca killed Michael, it's pretty damn interesting because you're talking about her protecting one daughter at the expense of another. Neither Kendall nor Bianca will be at all happy about that. Yes, Kendall's willing to sacrifice herself for Bianca, though she's doing everything she can to try to save herself, but she isn't going to like Erica doing the same. And Bianca has already made her thoughts about sacrificing Kendall clear--she doesn't like it, she'd rather see the guilty party go to jail regardless of who it is. Which reminds me of another reason why Bianca's DreamErica likely isn't talking about Bianca repressing the knowledge that Erica did it--Bianca's already decided that if it's a choice between innocent Kendall or guilty Erica, guilty Erica gets the boot. She made Erica promise after Kendall's arrest.

I also have to put in another day of yay for Judge "No Bullshit" Lampert and Livia "You Want Me To Do Your Job For You?" Frye. I loved them both smacking down the DA and Kendall. They almost make the courtroom stuff fun.

What I would love to see is Erica throwing some kind of dramatic fit and Judge Lampert kicking her ass from here to Sunday.

What gets me is that I've stuck to this damn story in the hopes that there would be some major Erica groveling when she finds out what Kendall has done. It would be corny as hell, but I had hoped for a scene where when it's all over, Kendall can have some big emotional crying scene, when she gets to release all of the emotion and stress she's been under. Preferably. she'd be crying on her mother's shoulder, though I suppose it will be Bianca's, since I don't see a reconciliation any time soon.

Oh, and I stand corrected on the love issue.

Hello forced awkward moment as Lena sat on the couch with her head down waiting for her name as Bianca reeled off the list of people she loved.

Contrived moment? Yes. I still dug it, though. I knew Lena was waiting for her name, yet it was a subtle moment--Lena didn't turn her head toward Bianca and Maggie, didn't look desperate. And then, it seemed that Lena thought for a second that she wasn't going to make Binky's list, and she dropped her head in disappointment, yet it wasn't melodramatic--no grimace, no sigh. Then, when Bianca finally said her name, she was relieved and it was clear, while at the same time, inconspicuous--no smile, no clasping of hands. Potentially cheesy moment saved by Olga's great acting.

Too bad I'm going to have to spend most of tomorrow's ep weeping over Binky's fugly shirt.

I dig that shirt, actually. I think that the color brings out the color of Eden's hair, which is frequently obscured, I guess, by hair products. However, I couldn't be more down with Kendall "brainstorming" it off of her. Go to, Kendall! I don't like the shirt that much. And I'm already hyped up by the promise of a taste of Kinks. Ummm. Ummm.

Lastly, Eden kicked ass in that last scene.

For. Real. But, I'm with Mystic0. Bianca may be ready to open up more about Voldemort, but I'm not ready to hear it. Probably never will be. She may never be completely honest with Lena about everything that happened that night, and I'm perfectly fine with that. *sniff*

[Craig Kilborn]A Moment For Kenlee[/Craig Kilborn]:

I noticed that when Kendall turned to look at Greenlee in the courtroom at the end of the show, Greenlee leered at her for a moment, and then her eyes sort of softened before Kendall turned around, as though she were contemplating the possible repercussions of her vendetta agaist her ex-girlf. . .er, partner. I couldn't help but wonder if this is setting up Greenlee eventually feeling guilty about her actions after the trial/and/or/big reveal and finding out Kendall's true motivations, and perhaps an eventual Kenlee reunion (I'm a hopeless romantic, I know), perhaps, as Skiffy proposed, by Valentine's Day (a girl can dream, can't she)? Or, maybe, just maybe, as talented an actress as she is, Rebecca just couldn't bring herself to continue leer at Alicia. Heh.

I liked Aiden and the crazy man. Yay for flax seeds!

AMC is starting a nice little habit of casting former Oz actors as extras. The actor who played Lomax was also Alvin Yood and Borie's drunken daddy doubled as Officer Murphy.

I think Aiden Turner gets consistently better as an actor each time out. TPTB should give him more opportunities to do humor, he handles it quite well.

And finally, why, oh why must TPTB tease me with David/Greenlee scenes. Damn, unrequited chemistry!

Hi! Delurking (again...is it still considered lurking in that case) to comment. I SO want this to happen, but you know that Erica's going to thank Kendall briefly and then go batshit crazy on her for daring to keep anything from her about her darling Bianca.

That said, I can't wait to see the look on her face when she realizes that not only Kendall and Bianca, but Maggie, Lena, Ryan, David and, above all, Jack new about it and dared to keep it from her. She and Greenlee can start a support group. That will be a good day.

What the hell was Kendall wearing today in court? It had a horrible print with shoulder pads from the 80's! Oh Kendall honey, they'd execute you for bad fashion indeed!

Now when they showed Kendall's Zoned-out! jury, evryone that was shown had something bad to say about Kendall except David & Lena (who were given no chance to comment). Dammit, why didn't they let my Lena say something! I'm sure she & David would be the only ones who could have something positive to say about Kendallicious.

And how cute was Kendall's smile today when Ryan gave her the 'thumbs up' in court. (Screw you Ryan! I wish it would have been Aiden she aimed that adorable smile at but whatever)

Kendall's wonder bread dress from last year? Had me dropped to the fetal position in terror. I'm no friend of the dots, man.

She and Greenlee can start a support group.

They deserve each other. I hope they down Boyd's magic formula and end up stuck with each other like those two harpies out of Death Becomes Her.

The actor who played Lomax was also Alvin Yood

Thank you! I knew I'd seen that old bastard before.

Just delurking to say that you have all warped my mind with the Kinks, and I'm so happy. I'll never be the same. I'm on the sled, it's picking up speed, and I'm laughing like a maniac all the way down to the fiery pits.

Bwah! Welcome to Satan's Playground. Pull up a sled, my friend.

Word, boris ! I was kind of dreading the CourtBattle! phase of the next weeks, but now I'm happily looking forward to daily doses of delicious JudgeLambert-y goodness. (My gf and I used to raise eyebrows at her when she was the ME on LAO, but I like the character even better here!)

Welcome to sledville, txm79. Glad you could join us in the celebration of SisYay!
It's a fine day at TWoP, a land of snark and wonder for every show imaginable, to get a firstposter here in the AMC forum just to celebrate the glory of implied sibling lesbian incestual senuality on a soap.

Lomax ... Alvin Yood

Both those names sound so ... Seuss!

I'm sure she & David would be the only ones who could have something positive to say about Kendallicious.

My guess is that's exactly why they didn't say anything. It was Kendall's nightmare fantasy about a jury that hated her and was going to send her straight to hell, after all. If she was going to have some positive "jurors" in her fantasy, her sister would've been first in line and Palmer second. So the real question is why David and Lena were even shown as part of the jury panel at all. Not that I mind, exactly, because Lena looked damn hot in that panning shot. At first I thought maybe AMC was just trying to fill the box out a little bit more, but then they showed the real jury and there were what, six people sitting there? Sheesh. Is it that hard to find twelve extras? Aren't there some unpaid interns running around that could've filled in?

That said, I loved all the courtroom stuff. Judge Lampert, Livia and Exeter just seemed to be having a good time when they were going through the motions. I actually got a sense of history, camaraderie, as if Livia and Exeter have been appearing before this judge for years. I loved the judge's smirk at Livia's smart-ass remark to Exeter about doing his work for him. (And the point was made by her that Kendall has legally-verifiable proof of the marriage--so again, I wonder who exactly Kendall married and just when her hubby's going to turn up? Place bets now on whether it'll be Wil deVry in the role, as implausible as it is that Kendall could've found a lookalike on about two hours notice...)

Aidan is so cute. [/shallow]

Remember how we all loved Olga's various "screwed" expressions? Well, Eden's got a great repertoire of WTF? expressions. I completely cracked up at the one she had after Maggie got through that incoherent sentence, just before she commented that they'd been friends too long, because she understood everything Maggie had just said. Meanwhile, I was much like Lena--I had to rewind three times before I finally understood Maggie. (Normally I wouldn't have bothered, except it meant I could also rewatch the WTF? expression and laugh again.)

I hope Bianca has a ton of insurance on the studio, because between the gas leak explosion and the explosion that's about to come when Lena and Maggie do finally have it out entirely (not to mention whatever scenery chewing Erica will do when she finds out about the Kinks lovechild), all the repairs have got to be expensive. Good luck getting your deposit back, Binks!

L&O SVU just re-ran the ep in which MEK has a brief appearance, by the way. That was back when he wasn't dying his gray hair, something I liked.

Yeah, I've been thinking about this possiblity, too, considering that blurb in SID (or was it SOD?) where Wil deVry was talking about turning down an offer to stay with the show on recurring status. He said that he had to turn them down, because they weren't offering a full contract and that he had to think of his career. . .other projects. . .whatevercakes. So, I figured after reading that that the plan was to have the Mikeylike show up demanding more money or some such bullshitcakes. Hopefully, based on deVry's turning them down, it won't happen. But, I'm afraid it still could.

ETA:

I wouldn't be any bit surprised if deVry shows up as the husband because that could milk some crazy courtroom histronics from Bianca and Erica, and we know that McT has the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

That makes so much sense it's frightening. Oh. No.

Wasn't that a spoiler waaaaaay back in August? "Kendall finds a Michael lookalike and marries him." There was never any mention on the show of a lookalike per se, Kendall just made cryptic phone calls to somebody in Vegas and then flew back to Pine Valley crowing about her marriage to Michael. I wouldn't be any bit surprised if deVry shows up as the husband because that could milk some crazy courtroom histronics from Bianca and Erica, and we know that McT has the subtlety of a sledgehammer. Maybe they'll change it up by having deVry in his real hair or sporting funny teeth.

Hi, y'all,

I think this is my first post here although I've been lurking for several months now.

I'm one of the lucky Liancalites who had lunch with the Divine Olga last Saturday. I'll post my recap on the Sosnovska Symposium as soon as I can get back onto ezboard which I haven't been able to do this evening.

Just wanted to tell you a couple of things. Olga hated the dance interlude on last Friday's episode. Since we were making our way to NY on Fri., neither of us had seen the eppy. She said, "If you haven't seen it, PLEASE don't watch!" She said trying to dance with no music......plus, they brought in a choreographer to pattern her moves! She obviously FELT like a dork. When I finally saw the ep after returning home, I thought she was adorable!
Not to mention those glimpses of bare skin. Hmmmmmm??

I told her that I thought she and Eden (but she especially) make the love between Lena and Bianca soooooo believable. She said if it ever isn't believable, "It isn't for our lack of trying." She also said she keeps looking for new places to touch Eden (to show that love)..............

Even if Wil deVry decides not to come back at all, the issue of Kendall's marriage is still a loose end that's got to be wrapped up one way or another. I have a feeling we'll be seeing someone pop up in PV sooner or later. AMC has written the story so that it actually points to Kendall not having married a lookalike, anyway--if she had, she would've had wedding photos taken, and there would be no problem with having the preacher and witnesses to the wedding at the trial. She'd want them there to testify.

Which reminds me, Boyd paid off the witnesses and Aidan's handling the preacher now, but there hasn't been any mention of finding and paying off the groom, has there? I hope Kendall/Boyd/Aidan have thought of it, or Kendall may be in for a nasty shock midway through her trial.

The silhouette looked like Kendall to me. The hair seemed wavy and IIRC Erica was wearing her hair pretty straight that day.

Oh, and I roll my eyes every time they talk about the death penalty for this case. No jury would sentence Kendall to death for offing her sister's rapist. She'd get life in prison, max. But so far, for a soap, the legal proceedings are actually pretty on target (Livia was, for instance, following conventional defense strategy wisdom when she said that they don't want a jury member who thinks for herself), so I don't think we're going to get an actual execution sequence two weeks after conviction like other soaps have done. Actually, I'll be surprised if this trial even makes it to closing arguments. Either Kendall's Not!Michael husband or her Not!Baby will wreck her defense before then.
