I did a search for this on the candid reality forum and didn't see a thread for this yet.

Is this a series? I caught the episode on VH-1 with Willie Aames and it was really good! After seeing WA on Celebrity Fit Club I thought I'd never want to watch a second of him on tv again but he was surprisingly humble and receptive to help. I guess hitting rock bottom will do that to you.

They briefly detailed how he got into the financial mess he was in and I was surprised they skipped over the whole Bible Man thing. He talked about the hunting show he was trying to get together but there was no mention of the shitload of money he must have put into the Bible Man project.

I love the host, I didn't catch his full name -- Serrano something. What has he done before? I'd love to get him as a life coach for a few days!

I'm pretty sure that it was a one-time show, although the host seems to be angling for a series.

I got a different read on Willie Ames-- seemed to me that he had to struggle to appear humble, and his anger management issues were always just below the surface.

I liked this show, too, lambie. I'm always surprised that "Bibleman" has such a foul mouth on him! Even in front of his daughter. His wife and daughter seem like cool people. I like when he was talking about how he didn't know about money because he was a teen idol and only had to be cute. I think alot of child actors and teen idols need their wake up call much sooner than Willie got his. If you really aren't marketable as an actor, there's no shame in deciding to do something else (like my first love, Bobby Sherman - an EMT and sheriff). I enjoyed watching him look into different options (damn! taxidermy school is expensive!). Weird that he ended up in finance, that seems like a reeeeally difficult career to start cold (I'm sure being Willie Aames and being on this show had a lot to do with it). I wonder if that's for real, if it's really a job he'll stick with. Or is it a set up for a reality show featuring Willie helping other people with their finances? What the heck - I'd watch it!

What a comedown. It hurt, as much as a dick as he was on CFC, to watch him crying. I was a little shocked, however, that he managed to raise $5000+ at a garage sale. I've held garage/yard sales and never cracked more than a couple hundred dollars. Wonder why he didn't maybe take some of his TV tie-ins (Charles in Charge and Eight is Enough jackets, other memorabilia) and post them to eBay or maybe auction them off at a nostalgia convention?

So, now he's an analyst? Wow.

One thing is disturbing: he had a chicken in a pet transport box and roasts it in his fireplace, claiming it's cheaper than a store-bought rotisserie chicken. Even in the "nice" store in my town, a rotisserie bird is only about $6. Livestock, which is what that chicken is---um, WAS----costs more.

I've been trying to figure out if this was a one off or a series too. I certainly couldn't watch Willie every week, but I'd be all for Seranno giving a reality check to celebs every week. And hell, VH1 could have half a season just by using past Fit Clubbers or Celebrity Rehabers. Erin Moran already said she was broke when she did Fit Club and that was the only reason she did it.

Willie needs to get his ass into therapy. His rage issues aren't healthy. Remember him going off on Harvey or whoever on Fit Club? It's just a matter of time before he gets fired when he can't keep his temper in check.

I'm guessing that Willie was drinking pretty heavily when they started filming this. In the "7 days" portion he looked like a drunk who had been on a month long bender. He had drunk face. He looked much better when he went to his new job.

Willie has anger issues and the fact he went and had a tattoo done while in such a financial mess, was such a turn-off. I didn't watch the whole show.

I don’t buy for a minute that Willie Ames is actually going to hold a new job as a financial analyst. The wrap up segment seemed so scripted and fake – from the shots of him ‘studying’ for his exam, to the ‘introductions’ at his new office, nothing looked believable. And we know Willie will appear on just about any reality show for money.

I laughed out loud when he was talking to Serrano (I think) about maintaining his dignity on the show. Honey, you traded that in on your first, rage-filled appearance on Celebrity Fit Club.
