Sue and Boston Rob already had their chances (Boston Rob had, like, four altogether!) Earl won and I guess they don't invite winners, and where the heck IS Gretchen, anyways?

In Ozzy vs. James, I'm giving the edge to Ozzy because I predict more water challenges. But Yau-Man has more wins than James, so it really depends on what challenges pop up.

Heh... yeah, it's funny because when you think about it, Yau-Man is probably as big a challenge threat as Ozzy, James, or anyone else.

About who's seen who... does anybody actually need to have seen the China season to figure out that James is a four hundred pound giant? I think when he picks up half the forest and twists it up into a big shelter they might suspect that he is, in fact, kind of big...

Well, after the fugliness that was China, I can see that this season will be very easy on the eyes! Ami, Amanda, Tracy, Alexis, and yes, Parvati, are all certified knockouts. And there is something about Mary…..maybe it's her giant fake boobs. I know I am going to get tired of looking at those. As for the boys, we have Ozzy, hunky Joel, James, Erik for the teenage girls, Mikey B for those of us who like 'em dark and smoldering, and IMO the best looking of all--Jonathan! Those gorgeous, intelligent, wry, lovely eyes. *SWOON*

Some pre-show thoughts on the Fans:
--Katherine is so going to bug me. She seems very high-maintenance.
--Jason rather worryingly is described on the CBS as a "masseuse". Our first transsexual survivor?
--Joel seems like a really good guy with whom I would have nothing in common. I suspect he will be a fan favourite.
--I'm bound to find anyone involved with beauty pageants creepy, but Chet seems especially so. For one thing, he is still living in the house he grew up in. Oh, and he's magical. And dude, leave the nipple ring at home. That is so going to get infected.
--Natalie is so trying to be the "hot girl" of the season. Except she's really not. She and Eliza both look like they have had nose jobs that made their noses too small for their faces. And what on earth is going on with her eyebrows?
--my two favourites on this team so far are Tracy (older woman with building skills, seems down-to-earth) and Mikey B (just seems like someone I would like to hang out with).

As for the favourites, ITA with all the people who are thrilled to see Jonathan back. I want him to win, which probably means he will be the first one booted. Happy to see Ozzy, but he has almost as big a target on him as Yau-Man. I expect Yau to make it to the merge (if there is one), but not Ozzy. Yau will make it because he doesn't start to become a threat until individual immunity is on the line. I loved Cirie the first time around, but for some reason I think she will be at odds with Jonathan and that will force me to root against her.

I'm OK with James being there. He's not an All-Star by any means, but he was definitely a fan favourite in his season, and I like that he says straight out what he thinks. Very happy Ami is there. She was a great player who got a little too certain of her own power and paid the price. No one will be gunning for her like they will be for Ozzy, Yau-Man, James, Jonathan, Fairplay……I think she will go far. I am also on board the Parvati? Huh? Train.

And Fairplay? Maybe if we all just ignored him he would go away.
