Schedule it any way you want, but my suggestion is to start with one episode per week. If people then find they're watching entire disks or whatever, we can change it.

Come up with a schedule here (day, date, episode number and title) and I'll post it in the announcement thread, and one of you all can post it to the TWoP Calendar.

I really want to rewatch VM. I was planning to do that since I've watched the series finale, but I never really got to do it.

I agree with one episode per week. I don't have much time and I'm not sure that I will be able to watch more. Also, it would give a great chance for first-timers to have a full week of discussions.

How about we start on Saturday, the 9th of February? It would give us enough time to tell other people about re-watch and weekend seems rather convinient to me.

I'm in...I was doing a rewatch anyway but skipping around amongst faves, so it would be good to start at the beginning again.

Feb 9: Pilot
Feb 16: Credit Where Credit's Due
Feb 23: Meet John Smith
Mar 1: The Wrath of Con
Mar 8: You Think You Know Somebody
Mar 15: Return of the Kane
Mar 22: The Girl Next Door
Mar 29: Like a Virgin
Apr 5: Drinking the Kool-Aid
Apr 12: An Echolls Family Christmas
Apr 19: Silence of the Lamb
Apr 26: Clash of the Tritons

If there are any suggestions, disagreements or corrections, let's look through them till the end of this week. And on Sunday or Monday I will submit the schedule to the TWoP Calendar.

Excellent. When you're sure about the schedule, please let me know and I'll post it in the announcement thread, too. If I don't remember to pin the thread for the episode of the week, please feel free to post something like, "Barnes, please pin this for the re-watch on [such and such a date]," okay?

As nobody posted here during the weekend, I have submitted the VM Pilot rewatch date to the TWoP calendar.

Barnes, please post the schedule in the announcement thread.

How does a rewatch work? Are old threads recycled or new ones created?

Usually, old ones are recycled.

We'll recycle the old threads, and I'll pin the thread of the week up top, so that it's easy to find. If you haven't already done so, you might want to add this event to the calendar to let everyone know.

Ohhh, I'm always up for a VM re-watch. So we watch each episode on the listed date? Is there a specific time we need to have re-watched it by?

I don't think that there is a need to specify particular time - you watch when it suits you and you tune in for discussion.

So if we're using the old threads for the re-watch schedule, do we go and read 15 pages back before posting, or just back to the "new" postings? For example, if the last post for the pilot episode thread was in 2006, and now we start new postings Feb 9th 2008, do we need to read all the old 2006 postings, or just start with the 1st one on 2/9/08?
