I have the biggest girl crush on Edyta. Ever since the first season, we see more and more of her personality and she just gets more and more fun. She is beautiful and talented, but she just seems so fun and down to earth too.

Me, too! She's been my favorite pro since season one. I was totally rooting for Joey and Edyta last season. While I think John is adorable, I hope they put Edyta with someone hot and young next time.

I love her personality and she seems like a great person, I just don't find she's a great teacher/choreographer. I know people seem to think she gets shafted by getting the older contestants and I admit I'm not sure why they tend to pair her with them. Maybe because they think she's incredibly patient?

But she did have her chance with Joey. He had all the potential in the world and it never really seemed like she knew quite what to do with it and how to translate that to the dance floor. She has a tendency to get gimicky with her routines, which might have been needed for someone like George Hamilton, but Joey didn't need all that.

Edyta is my absolute favorite dancer...I started watching DWTS in season 2 and really enjoyed watching her dance. But seeing as she didn't have a great partner I didn't get the full effect of her. Drew & Cheryl were my favorites in season 2. And then last season when she got Joey as a partner I was really excited. They were my favorite couple of last season. And this season I was upset she got John, although I do love him. But she needs like a Mario Lopez / Drew Lachey / Apolo Anton Ohno partner so she can win!

I saw the tour in CT and RI and in RI I went up to the stage and she squeezed my hand :) YAY. And I also have her and Alec's "Fitness with the Pros" DVD. It's crazy awesome.

And to answer the question above if her and Alec are still together, the answer is yes. They are engaged. I believe (not positive though) that they are getting married in September. Such a gorgeous couple!!!

I love Edyta, too, though I agree that she's probably not the best dancer/choreographer on the show. Still, she's very game, has a wonderful attitude, the aforementioned legs that Do. Not. Quit., and even the not-the-best pros are well worth watching.

However, the thing I love most about Edyta is her smile. It's incandescent and seems completely sincere to me. Every time she smiles I melt more than a little.

Edyta is far from my favorite of the pros (not a great teacher/choreographer as stated above), but I love her personality. I think she'd be a good friend to have.
