It's not often when I can point to a specific moment when the version of a show in my head completely breaks from the version of the show on TV, but this right here? Is the precise moment when my BSG parted ways with the TV BSG.

Eh very specialness. I love seeing Leoben, but what did we learn from those flashback scenes that weren't already shown well with the oracle and the dream? Dude! Why do they treat us like we get stupider as the season progresses?

I have to say, Bamber sold me on Apollo loving Starbuck more in that scene on the steps than almost every other - and he can keep on loving her - as a friend and colleague. Please. Except she's dead. I guess. Except that she had her hand on the eject. Ah frack, the end just confused me.
