The guy is called Mookie! He's standing right behind Boo in the Dumb Name Elimination Stakes.

James voted against him, I think. Simple throwaway vote so as not to attach himself to Jessica's vote-off.

HATE him already!

Definitely the anti-Yul; and that's obviously not a good thing...

Has the distinction of being only the second "Mookie" I've ever heard of, the first being Mookie Wilson, one-time NY Met (and another time Toronto Blue Jay.)

He was smart enough to consider who'd be best to boot to make room for the better Sylvia, but other than that, I barely noticed him tonight.

Does look like Yul, though.

Did he do anything bad in this episode?

He didn't bother me. He didn't look like Yul to me either, even though they're the same nationality. His face had such an innocence...he (and Eduardo and Boo, and "Dreamz" if he never, ever talks) are the only remotely attractive guys this season.

I like him, and at least his name is his own, not some dumb-ass nickname.

I kind of like him, if you notice he finished doing the puzzle by himself quite fast before helping Michelle do the the second one but thanks to Jessica "who have no idea what she is doing" (quote from herself) they lost. I am going to root for him to final 4 but I am hoping that Yau Man will win. Oh did I mention he went to my Alma Mater "Fighting Illini" suits the color of their team, don't you think - Orange! And he was my senior in actuarial science major. Woohoo!!!

I don't know, Netfoot...Dreamz is up at the top of my list, simply because of the Z. Unnecessary.

You think Mookie is a nickname for something longer? Like....Mookstopher. Mookolas. Mookiavelli.

I don't think that you should hate him because of his name, that is his real name not some stupid given nickname/self proclaim nickname and what not. Making fun of his name is also not nice, just because he came from a different culture thus his name is different, it might have a significant meaning to his parents. And I don't think it is a short version of any longer name, he is a korean and his real name is Mookie, I would suggest you guys check up on his bio before making anymore judgement on his name, if he is a chauvinist pig by all mean trash him because of that but do not trash him because of his name.

Not sure about its accuracy, but I read somewhere that his real name is Hyun. The latter is a real Korean name, or half of one --- most Korean personal names are two syllables, but they end up getting split into a first and middle name when Koreans first arrive in the States and they fill out the paperwork, which asks for a middle name ... OK, this is probably more than anyone really wants to know.

My point is that Mookie itself may be a nickname. However, unlike Dreamz and Rocky, I think Mookie probably had his nickname for a while, not something created just for the show.

He is like Yul, but without the modesty or raw intellect. Other than the name (Dre vs. Rocky vs. Mookie!) I've got no reason yet to not like him. He reminds me more of Daniel Lue from the Amazon, but with a greater potential to go further because the tribes are not divided by gender (which historically puts stronger men at less of an advantage). He's okay, and since I don't remember him being interviewed, he's basically a non-entity.

According to the lie-detector thing on the website, his real name is Mookie. It was changed to that when he immigrated to the US.
