Yawn. Looks like Katt Williams is the best part of this show.

For some reason, I find him quite annoying. His little sctich (sp?) at the beginning trying to justify today's bastardization of Hip Hop to America's fabric was nauseating and disgusting. None of the performances stand out. And the production? Piss poor. And this is for the first hour! It can only get worse from here.

I only saw the end of Rick Ross performance, JZ accepting his award for Hustle of the Year (F U JZ! stupid acceptance speech), and the beginning of Luda with Young Joc and Snoop. From what I saw, could they not afford a bigger place? The stage was small.

I thought Busta Rhymes was quite arrogant. Jay Z was an ass. T.I. and them did good. Weezy and Baby were horrible and seriously had bitter face. Snoop is old and should retire. Young Jeezy was wrong for having the strippers in his performance. Keishia Cole was bland. Flav looked like he had been eating cocaine with his lips. Deelishis is an opportunist. Rick Ross was all kinds of wrong with the tight fitting ankle pants. I live in ATL so I think it was great to have it here but it wasn't a great show.

This award show was just Kraptastic. All the performances sucked. The only good thing was that Common finally won an award for something...but he probably knew this award show was a Krapfest and didn't bother to show.

At least one good thing came out of this awards show, it made me pay attention to Lupe Fiasco and get his album ASAP. The freestyles were by far the best part of this show.
