She had a very uneasy relationship with Sharon and didn't seem to care if Sharon was killed.
I would say that she did care, in some small capacity, actually. When Sharon first came aboard the
Astral Queen, Starbuck stepped in during that initial freak-out by Apollo. Later, when Apollo was threatening to shoot her, she stopped him. "There's been enough of that today." Whether that was genuine concern for Sharon as a former friend, or sympathy because of Starbuck's friendship with Helo, I'm not sure.
I think Kara was probably wary of Sharon, but she did eventually admit to Sharon in "Scar" that when she looked at her, sometimes all she saw was the young kid who botched her landings, and almost forgot about the Cylon.
In fact, I would wager that, at least on a subconcious level, a human's view of a particular humlon model is probably skewed by their experience with that model. For instance, those who were friends with Boomer or Sharon probably look at eights with less hate than the other models. And Starbuck, by far, has had more experiences with different humlon models than any other human. She was friends with an eight, fought a six to the death, tortured/prayed for a Leoben, and was psycho-analyzed/cared for by a Simon. If there's any human who wouldn't lump all humlons together in one category, its probably Starbuck.
