I don't think it's up to Janelle's mom. Interestingly, I doubt any male contestant's mother would dare to declare publicly that she was going to tell him what to do and not to do with his own money.

It's not up to Janelle's mom but Janelle's mom can fill Janelle in on what has happened in the house and help her make the right decision.

Janelle's mom is into the show. She passed along as message to Janelle from the fans asking her to wear the veto if she won right after the competition so the fans wouldn't have to figure out who the winner was.

I don't see what being male or female has to do with anything. In addition to Jase's mom saying things about Holly, Jason's mom said she was going to make sure Jason stayed away from Chiara.

I still think Erika is unlikely to win the F3 comp, and Janelle would be way better getting rid of Dr Swill right now while she has the chance. But then I can't stand him, so that clouds my judgment.

Edited to add that Janelle is lending Erika clothes for her Julie-view which they've worked out is tomorrow. Sadly, Erika tried on Janelle's little shorts and they were way too big. Now normally I do not subscribe to all this thinness is the ideal stuff, but that had to be a one-up moment

I saw a clip of Boogie and Erika and he mentions that he only lived with two girls... Krista and Chiara. Wait a minute, is that Chiara the bitch from season 3? If so I did not know that at all...

I still hope I get my Will and Boogie finale! A couple of days of them jumping around is going to be fun to watch.

This time last year, I was a hippie who refused to watch television (didn't even own one) and now I'm addicted to Big Brother (and some other shows). Anyways, I have a question since I haven't seen a finale episode before. Do they show the after party or whatever it's called? I'd be curious to see if Erin is there. If she doesn't show up, do you think it would be safe to say that Will and Janelle are going back to the hotel together....

As dumb as I think some of these people are, I can't bring myself to believe that any of them are stupid enough to take any money-sharing deal seriously. If anyone agrees to take a backseat strategically in exchange for some sort of promissory note, that person deserves to not see a penny of it, and be laughed at in the face for a lifetime besides.

What male and female has to do with it is that women are much more likely to be treated like children after they are adults, and they're much more likely to expect people to think that's adorable.

I totally agree. I don't know about the rest of you, but I know what my reaction would be if my mother tried to pull something like that: "So long, Mother. Since you won't accept my significant other, then you also clearly can't accept me--so I can't accept you, either."

Parents of the world, never try to force that kind of choice on someone; you'll only end up goading him or her into making the one choice you don't want him or her to make, if for no other reason than just to spite you.

That said, I'd be shocked if Janelle really did try to start a true relationship with Will outside the house, knowing full well what she'd be sacrificing in order to do so. I still have to think she'd be too level-headed for that. I think she simply doesn't trust Erika, who she knows would evict her over Boogie in a heartbeat.

Well, as of last night, Erika said she'd be pulling out all the stops in an effort to stay, including passing on any hurtful things Will said about Janelle to her

Will very specifically said he loved and wanted to spend his life with Erin Brodie. (Why does he always say her two names?) He didn't just say this to Erika, but turned and addressed the internet... telling us how much he loved Erin, while Erika was still sitting across from him and we knew he was serious.

In my opinion, Erika telling Janelle this bit of information, (I've never heard Erika tell her) would be much more effective than telling her that Will called her "a band slut."

I would respectfully disagree with that. If Erika wanted to be the pretty blonde princess, all she would need to do would be what Janelle has already done and dye her hair blonde. Erika is extremely thin, it's true. But there are many many thousands of young girls who would look at her figure and sigh with envy, and those young girls would judge Janelle as pudgy. Since bone-thin has been in for at least fifteen years, I don't think Erika necessarily envies Janelle.

Also, Erika has a lot going for her when she she just is being herself and looking like the dancer that she is.

This sounds like something my mom would do and it absolutely drives me nuts.

I'd still rather have my mom declaring what I would do with MY money than Ivette's mom, who spoke about Ivette bringing HER home the money. Watching Ivette's mom speaking about Ivette's winnings as if they were hers was one of the rare times I ever felt any sympathy for Ivette.

I don't really get where Erika is coming from. Janelle was trying to say that George was a worse competitor (HOH and veto) than Boogie and that's why they should have kept him, but Erika kept saying you couldn't beat him in the end. Wouldn't it be better to actually GET to the final two and take a chance with someone than kick out the two people that not only have your back but that you could beat in an HOH or veto hands down?

This is why Erika can't even save her own ass. She's just a bad liar and uses crazy logic.

Add this to telling Janelle that she'd be okay with taking second place. Didn't she boot Danielle because she couldn't beat her in F2?

So she boots Danielle and George because she can't beat them, but wants Janelle to believe that she'd take her to F2?

Actually, it wasn't a one-up moment for her. She was kinda sad she couldn't fill them out like Janey does. Poor girl can't catch a break. Oh well.
