For those who enjoyed http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5285414/1/Sixt...s_With_Dr_Nolan, you won't want to miss Juliabohemian's follow-up, http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5375191/1/One_Down_Two_To_Go, especially the 2nd and 3rd chapters, consisting of letters House writes to Kutners' parents and to his father, at Nolan's suggestion. They present an amazing view into House's mind, and a somewhat different take on House's father than the typical fanfic on this subject.

Wonderful House-and-Wilson fic by verbal_kint10 -- unusual, affecting, sad and a little funny. PG, no warnings, 1556 words.

Full disclosure: I saw this in progress and did some very minor betaing.

Fault Lines by mer_duff is up to her usual standard of excellence. "Living with House isn't easy; sometimes it isn't even safe." Just over 1800 words; House and Wilson doing their two-step of blame, evasion, and caring.

A longer Mer piece, Tribulation looks at what happens the next time House gets drunk and calls "Dial-a-Wilson" instead of a cab. This is a personal favorite of mine. Some violence but no other warnings.

If you're into Huddy and alternative universes, I highly recommend At The End Of Her Rope by w8ting4huddy. Okay, even if you're not that much of a Huddy, this angsty fic will still reel you in. It's very well written, and full of emotion. If it were a book, it'd be one of those ones I just can't put down.

I haven't had time for fan fic in months. Can anyone rec any good Chase-centered stories that aren't necessarily Chase/Cam relationship drama?

Couple of new things to drop off here. I'd rate both of these as "teen and up" -- non-graphic sex, some language, but nothing requiring warnings.

Comfort Me with Apples by pwcorgigirl. Quiet and beautiful, in a devastating sort of way, this is from Cuddy's POV, Cuddy/Lucas and remembered Cuddy/House; it's a great take on the choices she's made and why she has made them. Fantastic read, regardless of whether you like, dislike, or are ambivalent toward Lucas; 2,300 words.

Full disclosure: I'm listed as a beta reader but basically all I had to say was, "This is amazing."

Speak in Different Voices by joe_pike_junior. House and Stacy circa 1995, when the infarction hadn't happened but House was still House, and living with him still wasn't easy. 3,500 words of outstanding, difficult, genuine House/Stacy -- a rare treat.

Wildebeest, you've probably seen this, but in case you haven't, Corgigirl's story Into White is probably my favorite Chase-centric thing of all time. Cameron's there but isn't the focus; Chase is, and he's being competent and compassionate and getting things right -- and there's a sad, delicate beauty about this that makes it a classic for me.

I'd also love to see some good, fresh Chase stories, so I'll second your request to the rest of the board!
