The book - the myth - the L word!!!

Here's my theory IC said she didn't want her picture in the book because she thought fans might be able to figure out her reasons for fucking up her own series by the expression on her face so they have had to go back and edit out all the Ilene photos.

If IC had anything to do with it - that would be one thing - but I'm really surprised that
JB would hook up with an outfit that is less than pro.

What's that? You've been missing that special feeling of rage that overtakes you when you read quotes from IC? Well, Happy Thursday, everyone!

She makes absolutely no fucking sense.

hardy har I particularly loved the comments that were made after Snarkers little run down on IFC's "new" show. There is just a lot of ill feelings towards that woman. Do we blame anyone. Hell yes. IFC herself!

Count me in as having wanted to see Dana Delany's Senator Barbara become a recurring character! The Beals and DD are quite possibly the two hottest women on earth, and I wanted *so much* to see Bette and the Senator make out!! **drool**

A Barbara/Tina throw-down would have been awesome!! My money's on the spunky Senator from California...

And a big thumbs up to DD getting a lesbian storyline on Desperate Housewives! She still looks remarkably good, although having watched her on DH, I suspect there's a bit of plastic surgery in her recent past?? I'm not always the best at spotting such things, but I suspect...

Regarding The Real L Word: Los Angeles: reality show + IFC = well, I'm literally afraid to look. There's no way I'm tuning in. I'm not that starved for 'representation'.

As for all who, like myself, hated Season Sux, just be zen about the whole thing and pretend it never happened. The L Word ran for five seasons, right? Thought so...

I surprisingly don't miss this show. But, since I had to sign on to locate an email, I felt the need to check the board. Who'da thunk it?

more from Mia on twitter and some information on L6 book she did at convention

MiaK_iLIVEhere

Hey sweet people..will you check out www.i-live-here.com - what do you think of the new limited edition book we made for the L6 convention?

Here is little something from LH (Tina) interview:

B&TF: When I talked to Ilene Chaiken after Tina interrogation tape was posted on the Internet, she said that you had an input on what was said there about Tina’s family. Whose idea it actually was to have Tina to confess that she was practically raped by her older sister and that Bette wasn’t her first?

LH: It was Ilene’s, but I agreed. She was my boss and I knew I could play it. I like her challenges.

B&TF: What is your personal take on Tina’s revelation about her sister?

LH: Whatever, sad, you know, but it happens. It explained her early co dependency. It would have been nice if I was told that earlier. In a feature you know these things. TV is hard that way. But it was ok. It worked.

B&TF: What do you think about Tina’s interrogation tape in hindsight and how did this sensitive subject affected you personally when you were filming that scene?

LH: I don’t think of it much. It didn’t affect me at all really. It was just work.

B&TF: I had recently interviewed Jennifer Beals and she told me a little more about her upcoming book of photographs from the set of The L Word. Jennifer said that she let the cast choose photos they liked while she interviewed them. What was your involvement in this project and why did you chose that one particular photo of you pregnant, which is also one of Jennifer’s favorite photos?

LH: I didn’t choose it, just approved it. I love that photo. Jennifer is a great photographer

B&TF: While you were looking at JB’s photos did it bring up any particular memories from the six seasons of The L Word and what were your most memorable ones?

LH: No, but I liked the dance episode. Such fun.

For more from LH's interview go to L Word Fan site.

LOL. LH is like so over this shit. She sounds so cold.

I wouldn`t say LuH sounded cold, I would put her statement in the category of being dissatisfied and unhappy with the way S3 & S6 went. Since IFC was her boss, IMHO, her hands were tied and she had to go along with that egosticial nut case in order to keep her job! Rumor had it that perhaps IFC was going to let her die in childbirth BUT since she irrated so many of the fans and perhaps cast by killing Dana off, I guess at one point IFC became aware that TiBette were too close in the hearts of the fans, that she got generous and let her live. Working under conditions like all of them had to do, I don`t blame LUH for being pissed at one time or another. In one interview, LuH made a statement that she would be proud to let her baby, when she got old enough to understand, see the fine work that her mother and the rest of the cast did in that show. and let her know what the Gay Family was going through at this time. It is rather scary to know that the writer/director of the show was Gay and yet pulled all those crazy stunts through out the 6 years. She was so deep into her own self, that she probably didn`t give a damn and wound up falling flat on her face; and now she wants to do " The Real L Word, LA". Why in the hell didn`t she listen to the fans and go into the "real world" of the Gay community and get some ideas from them??

Yesterday @ 2:35 pm
B&TF: So you want it to be cheaper so more people could afford buying it?

JB: Yes, yes, so let’s see what we can do and what they will come up with and hopefully it will be a good number. The book price will probably be closer to $40-45.

I wonder when we'll know for sure. Any idea?

eta:

I found this funny. Steven Eckholdt (TLW's 'Henry') was used as a wedge between another TV couple on 'Two and a Half Men' in last week's episode. And apparently its being continued tonight. Just how often has 'Henry' played the 'other man'?...

Help! I have been looking for that interview for days, ever since I saw it translated into Chinese. Where did you find it?

Today @ 3:48 am
LcubedC: I got that interview from the L Word fan site. I know the web master. She was the one who did the interview. She also have a twitter account. It is funny she had just did an interview a month ago with JB. And she had just got finish being an extra for Angela Robinson on the Girl trash movie.
