Sawyer's wound becomes life-threatening as he, Michael and Jin make their way through the interior of the island with the tail section survivors. Meanwhile, Shannon is once again haunted by visions of Walt, and Charlie becomes jealous of Locke's interest in Claire.

That ep was seriously dark and creepy! I should have sensed something was up with the whole business of the gun. To paraphrase Chekhov, if a single bullet is mentioned at the beginning of the episode, it'll be used by the end of it!

Great, another reason to hate anaL. The look on Sayid's face is what really killed me though. I can't wait to see the reaction of everyone else once they find out what happened.

As soon as they mentioned the "one bullet", I knew that was going to happen. Well, I also knew that one of the women was going to be killed by another woman, so I gamed out several scenarios in my head. But, still.
Looks like Sayid is going to take some names.
No Kate, only a glimpse of Jack and Hurley, no Sun.
Ultimately, the Shannon/Sayid relationship didn't work for me, and I never found Shannon that interesting, so my reaction to their final scene was muted. Too bad, but well done by everyone. An excellent acting swan song for Maggie Grace.

Holy Cow! I totally did not see Ana Lucia shooting Shannon coming until it happened. I thought this episode was totally awesome. We got confirmation that Shannon's dad was in the accident, we know that other people can see Walt, and Charlie totally got busted for being a heroine addict. Totally can't wait for next week.
