I'm not a moderator nor do I play one on TV (withoutpity), but this is from the FAQs:
Q: Can I feel free to treat forum threads like chat rooms during episodes?

A: No. Real-time posts during episodes don't make sense to most other users, either during the show or a couple of days later. Everyone has to read 15 pages or days of content (see below), so don't make people wade through a bunch of chat that's irrelevant.

Oh how I wish this were real...

"I would never go to war for oil."

Also - Santos said "ENRON!" Reality Crossover? My head is swimming.

Wow, are we supposed to be impressed with that? The two candidates were both so petty- I think after watching that I would have a hard time picking one to vote for. Both of them acted like children.

Wasn't really paying too close attention- mostly I was looking for mistakes. I thought it was well done in that respect... there were a few moments where I didn't know if it was a mistake or not, because they did a good job covering up. Alan Alda scared me in the beginning... I thought he had forgotten his lines already. I think that pause was a little too long.

This episode is probably going to be hell to recap... the idea was a good gimmick, but it does not translate to an interesting episode at all.

The "let the audience participate" idea was dumb. I found myself shaking my head every time they had someone shout something out. The person who was escorted out for calling Vinick a liar was stupid... I found myself wishing he was real, and gave the producers a heart attack.

Why was Ellen Degeneres there? Watching her was painful.

Overall, well done, but boring.

In all truth, that was one of the most painful, sucky episodes of anything that I have witnessed on television. I put it as running neck in neck with Flo winning the Amazing Race. The person that came up with the idea to do this should be drawn and quartered and then bannished from Television forever. To think that I set aside time in my life to see it pains me to no end.

Well it certainly wasn't "Game On"....

Anyone know how much was scripted and what was spontaneous? The cameras didn't seem prepared for them to go off-podium.

The problem is, "Game On" was one of the great episodes in the history of the series.

I was all for this idea, if only because I'm a sucker for live television, but this was just pitiful.

Looking forward to regular episodes again.

Vinnick: It's over.

Santos: You'll be back.

I'm not from North America, I don't know some things they were talking about.

Question, are the facts they presented correct?

Oh, I get nostalgic just thinking about "Game On"

I just turned it on after my meeting. I usually wait but I knew Allison and Bradley already said they weren't in it so what was I going to ruin?

Dear Lord this is horrible. The lighting alone is painful. And now, seriously are we talking about war over oil...

God...this is painful to watch. WE need Sorkin Stat.

Isaac and Ishmael was a play format and done soooooooo well. It could have been live and would never have sucked this badly. Is this even scripted?

And now Jimmy Smitts is talking about himself in the third person. Cars and trucks... A little sad but Alda just brought it at the end.

...I'm going to rewind and rewatch just so I can see if Alda swallowed a bug in during the debate like Stephen Colbert predicted.

So, I'm thinking Matt Santos is our next president - while he wasn't cute and cuddly, I've never personally found an Alan Alda character so unlikeable. Am I alone?

So did anyone else not want to vote for who won at nbc.com because they said Ellen would be there?

I agree it was mostly boring, and I think it was certain proof of Alan Alda's superior acting ability, however I'm glad they tried it. I think it did a great job of getting their issues out there, and helping seal the deal for Santos's support with the viewers.

Somewhere, out there, Aaron Sorkin is busting out his crackpipe. I wish I could take a hit.

Ugh. Awful. The audience participation? Is this a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show? I muted about 30 minutes of it. The candidates were just incredibly petty and childish and it was disappointing. I hope you got your ratings, Wells, because you've jumped the shark. Hardcore.
