I love that J2 get along so well, and they do set the tone for everyone else, too.

I really love when interviews with guest stars come up and they always say that the atmosphere on Supernatural is different from any one they've been on and Jared and Jensen contribute immensely to it.

As for Jared's signature scent? I don't know. I'm still fuming that some of you people were able to get close to him during the convention and you know. Get up close and personal with the true Jared scent.

This actually baffles me. I admittedly came into the show becasue I was a Jared fan but I just don't understand not loving him as Dean. He actually made me laugh - Rory tells him hating Jess is a waste of energy, he says, "then I'll have a powerbar" - and he made me all weepy - "She likes Jess, doesn't she." I just think he did a wonderful job with a one-note character.

I liked Dean Forrester; it was just an underwritten part. A big problem was the show linking Jess with Luke, so he automatically got treated like a character in his own right, which lopsided the triangle in his favor (and Milo was what, 24 years old or something). I would have liked it if they'd allowed Dean to be more a member of the regular townspeople, as he would have been treated better. I always liked Dean's friendship with Lorelai. And I always liked that Dean got the GG family vibe and just rolled with it. I thought Jared did alright on GG, but he didn't have a lot of room to expand there, acting-wise.

I wouldn't know, but isn't he supposed to smell pretty clean? Very good for a boy who sweats like a whore in church.

I always liked Dean's friendship with Lorelai. And I always liked that Dean got the GG family vibe and just rolled with it. I thought Jared did alright on GG, but he didn't have a lot of room to expand there, acting-wise.

I did to. Dean in the earlier seasons wasn't that bad, and I think that Jared did okay for the most part (there were some emotional moments that made me cringe a little, though). They basically ruined the character in later seasons, though, and that's the impression I've been left with, so my initial thoughts about the character is that I disliked him intirely.

It always makes me so happy when guest stars say what a pleasure it was working on the show. I love that Jared and Jensen seem to remember every guest star, too. They're always complimenting them and saying how much they liked working with them as well. They're such sweethearts.

Gemma Doyle, I love that story, also, and was lucky enough to hear it firsthand at the Chicago Con (from where I was sitting, at Jared's feet. Ahem. 8-) My favorite part was Jared starting the story, Jensen looking at him with fond exasperation and saying, 'man, I don't know why you have to tell that story!' and Jared looking at him and replying, 'because I have to, I just have to!' Hee. That probably sums up their relationship, Jared barreling along and Jensen along for the ride. *snort*


And, yeah, I've got to go with the guys just smelling 'clean'--no cologne that I could tell, at least at that Con. *mutters* Must do more research...

Awww, so he left one girl by the poolside for Richy Rich and then his new girl got burnt up on his ceiling. Its a sad life, hee hee. The GG episode would have been sometime during season 5, I'm not sure when, though. Luke convinces Dean to leave Rory because he'll just drag her down, blech. It makes me want to see Dean come back as a huge success and rub it in her Valedictorian face.

Jared had a long, bangy cut on GG for both seasons 4 and 5, I believe. Carpenter Dean hair looks awfully similar to his hair in House of Wax.

I never heard that before. Interesting. Jared's last Gilmore Girls episode was To Live and Let Diorama. It was the 18th episode of Season 5. It originally aired 4/19/05 so I would guess it was filmed in Feb 05? Mar 05? When was the Supernatural Pilot shot?

I'm 100% Jared 0% Jensen.

My love for the boys is so intertangled my equation is a little more complex. I prefer Jared's looks, but I relate more to the character of Dean. I like both their personalities and acting equally, and I adore their friendship and chemistry. And I love the show. So:

Jared's Looks + Dean's Character + (Personalities and Acting) x 2 + J squared + Show = Bi-Bro and Happy

By the way, I figured out where this pic comes from. It's near the beginning of Fresh Blood, when they're waiting for Lucy to regain consciousness. Have I mentionned how much I love this pic? I think I may have mentionned it. In fact, I may have invented a few new words while mentionning it. The J squared photo is my all-time favourite of the boys, and I'd credit the Chicago con pic but I don't know who took it. Raise your hand, whoever you are!

Guess I'll have to rewatch that then. Sam looks like he could kill somebody with his cheekbones in that picture. And his hair is fabulous. But I think I might love the expression in his eyes the most.

There are so many possiblities for Sam's direction now. I'm glad Jared seems to be enjoying himself. I was expecting him to show up in SFX, but now I have to wonder if he's going to be in the usual slew of British SciFi magazines.
