Bravo, MNIE. It may be weird, but this shout-out has put you back on my must-see list.

that was catalina. She's a whore.

Greg always makes me ROTFLMAO.

I just want to clarify that to my knowledge, love of the show is not what drives multi-thread status.

What if they specifically request this via another shout out? :)

My email to whojackie:

I'm sorry I didn't know whojackie as well as I'd like to have. He seemed like a heck of a guy.

Doesn't look like I'll get down to Camden County for the funeral, either. I'm all the way up here in Labrador (that's in Canada, BTW), and plane fare is frikkin' expensive. I send my condolences.

I heard you were having some legal troubles. Hope you get everything cleared up soon.

Say "hey" to Earl, Randy, and Crabman for me.

The Mad Maple

The response:

I told them all you said "Hey" They said they diidn't know who the hell you are.

Joy

This is what I sent to whojackie@gmail.com and the response (I also P.S.'d a huge thank you for the great joke):

> Just trying to help,
> shanchan

Oh, Snap! I didn't even think about Big Brother. I watched that show once by the way and it sucked. It looked like a damn church group hanging out in an Ikea.

Called my dad who watches the show and his response was about the same. He probably thought, "My god, what kind of geek did I raise?:)

My coworkers just gave me the blank stares reserved for circus freaks or nutters that you don't want to piss off.

But I'm officially in love w/Greg Garcia.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who was too busy looking up TWoP to watch the end of the episode. Such a geek.
Oh dude. My poor friend was clearly holding herself back from patting me on the head and saying "That's real nice, sweetie...Whatever the hell you're talking about."

I *also* sent a Ms Pacman link (great minds and all that) and one to Faith Hill's website, and got this:
Faith F'n rocks! I can't get past the damn pretzel maze on Ms. Pac Man though.

It's okay to feel completely cool and yet immensely dorky at the same time, right? I don't post on the sitcom threads because I only watch the ones I like and have such blinders on about my favorites that I have no good snark...but y'all have made my week...and I don't even know you. I feel obligated now to purchase MNiE season DVDs, from now to infinity. And whatever NoN shirt/buttons/paraphenalia that result from this awesomeness.

Wow. I haven't read the MNiE threads for a long time, but this was an awesome shout out! Thank you whojackie, and may you rest in peace, or enjoy your new incarnation as the userid on Joy's kid's new porn computer.

Yowza. Maybe there's some Club Chubby photos already on that fish machine!

Edited because whoah in my meta joy (heh - Joy!) I spelled "rest in piece" and I surely don't want whojackie in multiple pieces...

So, how many people are trying to explain to co-workers WHY they are so excited a website was mentioned on TWOP.

Raises hand. I got a patronizing smile in response. Of course, said co-worker is a huge "According to Jim" fanatic (yeah, there is such a thing), so there you go...

Okay so I did!!!! Prefaced with the quote, "Listen to how big of a dork I am" and everyone agreed.

Same here. But thankfully my coworkers already know, and they thought the whole thing was pretty cool, or at least they were pretending to.

I also sent an email, giving Joy a tip about google, and I also got one back saying thanks for the tip and thanks for watching.

Just wanted to post to comment on how much i love this show and this shout-out. Let's just say when i saw that part of the episode, everyone in the neighborhood heard it too. Hee. And see all the mayhem here was awesome. Great work from the cast of crew of MNIE. I just sent an email to Whojackie, can't wait for a response. Again, good job MNIE.

Nailbiter, move over and make some room on the dork couch. I sent Joy links to some Ms Pacman sites.

So much for being a grownup.

Last night's shout-out was great. My husband's away right now, but when the show re-airs, you bet your ass I'm going to be jumping up and down on the couch screaming something about finding validation because a show we both like threw out a conspicious mention of TWoP. (He hates "VM," and isn't impressed when RT sneaks a mention in.)

Count me in as one of the many TWOPpers who immediatly verbalized "shoutout!" And came to the boards to have her mind blown by the meta. Love it Love it Love it. I hate to disagree with whojackie (may he RIP) but catering to the bloggers and TWOPpers is incredibly fun and feels so rewarding for us loyal viewer of the show.

Shhhh! Nobody tell Joy about Crabman being in the witness protection program, okay?

But knowing Joy, she might think it's cool.

"What! You're in the WP and they have us living in this stinky little trailer! Get the gubmint on the phone, Crabman I'll get 'em straightened out. Maui, here we come!"

Loved lastnight's episode! Loved the shoutout and the months of setting it up!

Sent Joy a virtual flower bouquet to pass along my condolences. And "she" sent me a virtual mug of hot cocoa or irish coffee. Either way, looks yummy!

re: Garden Basket

I didn't know you could send flowers and hot drinks to peope over the wide wide world of web.

Damn. 2007 huh?

Hee hee. Got my reply from Joy...

Damn! I saw it. That was messed up. I hope they don't hang me.

Very glad I stayed in character. This is WAY more fun than the personalized message from Alec Baldwin for 30 Rock.
