Heathen received an offical shout-out when Heath on Undeclared was actually called "Heath."

It's not on-air, but the Arrested Development DVDs (released this week) have a definite TWoP shout-out (pronounced as four letters, T.W.O.P.) in the group commentary for the episode "Beef Consommé." Jessica Walter (I think) asks who would really notice that Marta has been played by two different actresses, and someone replies, "Everybody on TWoP."

Actually, that giftsleuth.com wasn't the doing of the people at Joan of Arcadia. The site was mentioned on the show, and during the episode, a viewer and TWoP fan noticed the domain wasn't registered, so he bought it and redirected it to us. So that one doesn't count -- sorry!

Another Arrested Development one: In one episode, Maeby made a pie chart detailing her "Time without parents" which she abbreviated "TWP" - forgot the O, but we all took it as a shout-out anyway.

On the same episode, 339113's used as the name of a company after she sent them cookies (or brownies?) for the fantastic job they've done. They also sent her a DVD of the show.

[And, the higher ups at Arrested Development have mentioned TWoP a number of times at assorted events.

I don’t know if this counts or not, but a friend of mine, who also writes fanfic, went to a Buffy WriterCon in Las Vegas this summer. Here is what she noted from one of the panel discussions she went to with writer Jane Espensen (Buffy, Angel, Gilmore Girls):

She's on the staff for Tru Calling now and hopefully will fix some of the things wrong with the show. She said that before she went in for her job at Tru Calling, she consulted...drum roll please...Television Without Pity! Yes, she wanted to read all the reviews and critiques and complaints to see what needed to be worked on. So, I hope Tru Calling will be better this year.

And I just hipped my friend to TWoP about a month prior to that. What a small world….

There was Couch Baron's Buffy Season 3 recaps that said that Scott Hope is gay that later turned out to be true.

Owen also had the creepiest prediction come to life as well for Charmed. On the final page of his "Apocalypse, Not", he predicted that Rose McGowan would replace Shannen Doherty and surely enough, twenty-four episodes later, she did.

Being admittedly completely nosy, what is the Sorkin v. Deborah v. Fans debacle?

Sorkin posted on the boards. He was an idiot, so he got banned. Some time later, he wrote an episode in which Josh Lyman found a web site dedicated to him, posted on it, and got banned.

I don't think that's right. He was never banned. The inside scoop was that someone at TWW Inc. put the child locks on his internet activities, especially after that WW writer came in and posted crap about Sorkin and THEY got into a tit for tat fight.

Certainly there was little Deborah-Sorkin love to be had but I'm pretty sure the account was never banned.
