I will be interested to hear Ami's questioning of the final two.

I fully expect her to try to go out in Sue Hawk fashion when she addresses the final two, but with none of the non-self-aware/self-absorbed traits that made Sue's exit speech so classic and earthily endearing.

No doubt, we'll get the same sort of sanctimonious twaddle we were treated to tonight, only she'll have had time to fume and feel sorry for herself back at Loser Lodge. Oh, and "brainstorm" with Leann about more hateful, hurtful things to say. I fear the "rainbow" comment and "you hurt my feelings" aren't the worst she can come up with.

ETA:
I missed it...what was the rainbow comment? rayvyn2k

Ami said, as she held up her vote, "Scout, you're pretty good at hiding your nasty side, but when your true colors come out, they're no part of any rainbow I've ever seen."

I am thrilled that this bitchfaced, cocky, manipulative, evil person is now off. my. tv.

"I'd miss Eliza the most." Then why did you vote to boot her off last time, bitch?

It must be nice to be Ami with the perfect body, perfect morals, and perfect lifestyle and sit in judgement of everyone who is not as perfect as she is ... or who simply won't kiss her despicable ass.

It was easy for Ami to be all serene and sanguine when she was calling all the shots, but when she had to play against people who were playing back, well, her true colors came out, didn't they? Petty, mean-spirited, small, vile, hateful, nasty, ugly cunt.

I'm already dreading her inevitable self-deluded, self-aggrandizing, sanctimonious lectures during the final Tribal Council.

You know, for the first three-quarters of the season I thought Ami was a phenomenal player. She dominated physically, mentally, and strategically. I was willing to defend her, because I thought she was a superior player. Last week, the cracks started to show.

Tonight, although I do respect her as being a very good player of this game, the only word that comes to mind to describe her is the one swear word I never use.

What a thoroughly hateful bitch. I now understand all the animosity. She will UNDOUBTEDLY make an ass of herself by making a speech where she trashes the final two (for, you know, not letting her win, shades of Lex there). Look, I understand that she'd feel upset that she was backstabbed, and I can't even blame her for being mad at Twila. Yes, I understand, she really didn't lie ever (good for her, although I suspect this is due to lack of subtlety rather than moral superiority) but I think her downfall is she was WAY too naive to assume that she was going to get carried to the end on charisma alone, and daring to defy her was an act of high treason. She was a good player, but was way too big a target once she didn't have the power. Gone are the days of a Brian Heidik winning... now we get Jennas, Sandras, and Ambers. I think that a comparison between her and Lex is very apt... similar game play styles, and on paper, they are great players. But the second things spin out of their control and are no longer centered around them, they freak out and act like spoiled infants with a sense of thwarted entitlement. I think Ami is a bit more obnoxious than Lex, though.

Edited to add two more reasons why I don't like her:

one: Sorry I missed the memo where the lesbian community had decided that Scout owed it to Ami to let her win.

two: How impressed with herself is she? Seriously? We heard her compliment herself on her looks, intelligence, and athleticism. I hope she didn't strain her shoulder from all the patting herself on the back.

Her shoulders are strong from carrying all that silicone around! (meow) ;)

You forgot to mention what a "caring, giving, loving person" she is. We know because...well, because she told us so in tonight's episode!

I am ashamed to admit that I once really liked Ami, and there's a post way back on this thread to prove it.

For the past several weeks I have come to gradually loathe her for her smugness, her self-aggrandizing sense of entitlement, her hypocrisy [she's Eliza's bestest friend ever, except for when she's agreeing with the other sorority sisters that no one likes Eliza and she needs to go] and her whole 'I'm the Queen of Vanuatu' attitude.

I actually despise her nearly as much as Johnny Fairplay [hard to believe] and quite as much as Jenna Morasco and Brian Heidik.

I'm already dreading her inevitable self-deluded, self-aggrandizing, sanctimonious lectures during the final Tribal Council.

Please, she's already writing out her 'clever' tirade.

Buh-bye, Ami. The Queen is, in fact, dethroned.

I still love Ami, even more after tonight's episode. She's witty and sarcastic and she's got bite -- I enjoyed this episode more than any other this season. My next favorite episode will be the one where Twila waves buh-bye.

Her moral superiority didn't last beyond her exit speech. Wanting to drown Twila ain't nice, Ami.

As an aside, I was offended by the nasty comments made about Crissy. Crissy didn't sign up to be on the show

Crissy did sign up for the show, evidenced by the fact that she was on it. No one held a gun to her head and made her appear (although I suppose it's possible that Ami threatened to hold her head under water for two minutes if she refused). Anyone who voluntarily puts herself on TV is fair game for any mocking and nasty comments that come her way. Mostly, people were just saying that she has a big nose and resembles various birds and Muppets, which she does. I can only assume that Ami, being a champion of all things good and decent, would appreciate our honesty.

I will be interested to hear Ami's questioning of the final two.

I'm actually feeling like I've enough of Ami. Her jury questioning will almost certainly be of the, "I have integrity, and I hope you get cancer" variety, and we've seen that done before. It's bad enough that Ami's a delusional fuckwit, but the fact that she can't even be a delusional fuckwit in an original or interesting way is intolerable.
