Yeah, they do! I googled Shalom Harlow, and indeed, the resemblance is striking.

I saw that ad today on a NYC bus shelter-- the model has more of a Hollywood glam look, while Elyse has a more elfin, otherworldly quality. But they're both beautiful.

Holy cow. Read on Elyse's blog that Marty and her were both arrested for domestic violence. I thought it was a joke at first, but it's not - you can confirm it by clicking on the website she cited in her entry.

Elyse, how terribly fucking shitty. Hopefully, she's okay, but it appears that Marty and Elyse are dunzo. Elyse is a smart girl and I don't see her staying with someone who would lay a hand on her, no matter how drunk he is.

In a comment she said that's why she was making the entry, so she won't be able to just overlook it.

I'm so worried for her that because she's the bigger celebrity (as she's a name, Marty is just a member of a band ... that I now have a lot of conflicts loving), she's going to get the media scorn and be blamed for this. As it were; I don't know, it seems like any time a former reality persona steps out, the gossip blogs eat it up. Poor Elyse.

I am terribly sorry to hear about Elyse's troubles. From reading old entries in her LiveJournal, she and Marty seemed to mesh so well. What an ass he is.

It pisses me off that Marty pressed charges against her. If I am not mistaken, it's rather difficult for convicted felons to leave the country. This would not be a good thing for Elyse's modeling career. Marty is an ass.

Elyse, keep your head up and stay strong. There are several things to do in Sacramento so I hope they'll actually let you out into the city.

Holy shit, I got the shock of I life when I read that LJ entry. I feel so bad for her. When I first read "my ex-boyfriend" I assumed she meant someone other than Marty. What a prick, to press charges on her. I really hope she's doing O.K., she seems so strong and like she's seeing the funny side (of the arrest) from her comments on LJ. Hope everything goes well for you Elyse.
