True. Even though they have not, apparently, ever won before this point. Maybe they weren't moral enough last race.

I realize they probably have no experience with Mozambique, but did they really think that exaggerated Spanish and Italian accents would fly in that country? (Oh, but according to Wikipedia, the official language is Portuguese. So they were... close to approximating the correct broken accent.) I forgot the last season they were on. Did they make it to Asia? Did the people of India, for instance, react well to overemphasized fake-Italian words?

CnM's habit of kidnapping Ferns is really starting to grate. Is there a single leg of this race where they haven't bodily dragged a dude around with them? Just let the guy go to work ladies (and I use the term loosely!).

ITA. This drives me crazy on most reality shows, but on TAR, a show that is fairly merit-based, this argument really drives me batty. The Hippies won because they raced well, not because of what great guys they were.

I said they'd be insufferable, and they were. So proud of eliminating R&A! Like they'd done it themselves, personally, with a hatchet. Next week, they're going to be just as insufferable, telling us how wonderful they are as people, because they won a leg!

They did well this week. Especially after coming out last from the Rat Roadblock. Good Detour choice and overall good hustle. They went from starting the leg last to first.

No, no. When they lose, it's because they're being persecuted by the rest of the world, dontcha know? When they win, it's because their moral goodness has triumphed over the evil people. It all makes sense in Mirna and Charla's world (which, as they admit, is a scary place to be.)

Who are not the topic. Nobody said they were the only ones; as I've asked before, I'd really rather every thread didn't turn into "but what about Rob and Amber?", which is what a lot of people haven't liked about the season in the first place.

Woo Hoo! Congrats Ladies!

I know this team drives a lot of people crazy, but I still love them. Even when they are stressing out and losing it, they still seem to be having fun. And their antics add a lot to the race, or at least they do for me. But I agree I chuckled a bit at their odd accents during the task in Mozambique, I was like WTF. It's a little jarring to hear Mirna especially talk in her normal voice, because she races most of the race with that odd pseudo spanish accent of hers.

It's certainly saying something when Charla & Mirna are not the most annoying team in any given episode. I even (small voice) found their mat reaction to be...almost endearing. Gawd.

I think I might have thrown up, when they hit the mat. Yeah, they ran a good leg and deserved it, but they really are two of the most annoying, self-righteous contestants, to ever appear on this show. And that's saying something. I didn't like them the first go around, but they managed to make me hate them even more this time. Impressive.
