I would watch, too. And I have never, ever watched "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette".

I kind of liked these two at the very beginning, and I was rooting for the "little person" . . . but man, I wasn't the least bit sorry to see them go. Charla, maybe, but not Mirna.

Can somebody please tell me what kind of sense it makes to make the little person do both eating Roadblocks? Why make a smaller person with a smaller stomach choke down 2lbs of caviar and then an ostrich egg? Man, Mirna was beyond worthless. As crazy as it is to believe, had Charla paired up with anyone else other than Mirna, she'd probably still be in it.

And Mirna's persecution complex was quite possibly the worst this show has ever seen -- and there have been plenty. I'm putting myself in the "good riddance" camp, but with an asterisk for Charla.

Shouldn't Mirna go on Joe Millionaire 3: The One From Hell, instead? Rather than having 25 trashy European skanks who had never heard of the first original con game, they could simply have 1 Mirna with her 25 "languages."

What kind of law does Mirna practice? I just can't see her argument/debate style going over well in a courtroom.

Here's a link to her listing on martindale.com martindale (I didn't know her real first name was Lara) and here for their lawyers.com webpage. lawyers.com

Their failure came about from weak airport strategy and bad Detour selection when behind.

I will agree about the Detour selection; while it is hard to judge how much quicker the bees might have been (as no one picked them), I think it would only have to have been a little bit faster to put them ahead of the twins.

But I think their airport strategy was consistently strong. With everyone on the same flight, it makes sense for a slower moving team to gamble on a flight that gets them to the next route marker a bit faster. It paid off for them when they went from Frankfurt to Cairo.

Unfortunately, this time, their faster flight was delayed. But I'm not sure that is the sort of thing that anyone could be expected to predict.

Golden Key National Honor Society.... BWAH! Every single person I know who even went to college belongs to that, and yet Mirna lists it first on her bio.

And who would chose Mirna over Lara? Oh wait. Mirna.

Me, too. I remember at least twice when a bunch of other teams were sitting around asking "Where are Charla and Mirna?", when C&M were working the airport, finding better flights.

I realize that, in some measure, they were relieved not to have Mirna nearby... but I can't believe they were so complacent about their own flights when better options were there for the taking.

Except... Charla didn't do badly with the caviar. The only female racer who did better with it that we could tell was Linda. While we complained about Colin making Christie do the caviar, watching him eat the egg showed that he would have been an even worse choice, and I don't think Mirna would have done as well as Charla.

I think that they raced well, and they were smart in that they knew that they needed to establish a lead by getting better flights so that if they bled some time from Charla's slowness in running or Mirna's general Mirna-ness, they could recoup.

Just saw M&C on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Jimmy called Mirna the Omarossa of the show! Hee!

Also, he called Mirna on leaving Charla to do the eating. Charla, looking very cute in a black with white polka-dot halter dress, was all 'no, we didn't want to upset Mirna's stomach.'

Jimmy joked about them posing in Playboy, and Mirna just umped in with a 'yeah, we've got a shoot at 3 tomorrow,' while Charla was shaking her head. When Jimmy asked her, Charla said her husband would not want her to do that.

Mirna said that if there was an All-Star TAR, then..., so Mr. A looked at me and said something along the lines of , "If there's an All-Stars, why don't we have the top four finishers?" Mr. A has no patience for Mirna, and thinks of Charla as a hypocrite.

Jimmy did wonder to Charla about who at CBS decided to "put you in a chocolate factory", or some question along those lines.

Overall, a nice enough interview as long as Mirna wasn't there.

PS( I do give props for Mirna for haulin' the goats, but her incessant yelling for Charla to go faster just about cancels any real work she did, in my eyes.)

Regarding Mirna and Charla's mistake of choosing the chair detour over the bee detour: I just watched the episode again, and it seems like it was an easy mistake to make because, at that point, they weren't far enough behind to strategize over choosing the (ostensibly) quicker task. Obviously they should have probably chosen the bees, but I think perhaps they thought they could have at least beat the moms. By the time the moms pulled ahead, they probably figured they had wasted too much time to turn back.

Good racers? Sure. But that Karma, she is a bitch.

I've gone to school with kids like Colin & Christie and I know how cruel and rotten those types are. I am hoping that C/C get what's coming to them for being the bullies of this race. They are the nasty and evil ones.

I must say that despite having been excluded from the 'cool kids' club and instead being teased by the 'cool kids' in school, I still cannot muster any sympathy for Mirna and Charla. And while I might grudgingly give Charla her due respect, some of her actions have shown me that neither of these people are worthy of respect.

I hate to say this...but if Mirna was on the Bachlerette I'd definetly watch.

Mirna said that if there was an All-Star TAR, then...

Whatever show she gets on, I hope it isn't another shot at TAR because I don't think I ever want to watch Mirna on my television EVER again, except maybe "When Animals Attack Crazy People!"

I can't say it enough.
Charla is the best racer the show has ever seen. Its not even close.

By the way. A little birdie told me that they had an agreement similar to the one Kevin and I had before the race started. Charla would do all the eating challenges much like I did.

My take is that part of being a good racer is developing decent relationships with the other teams. And Charla failed at this miserably. When you are at the point that other teams have banded together to mess with you because they hate your team so much, you're no longer running a good race because you've put an extra stumbling block in your way. And that's what happened to Charla. Even if she and Mirna hated every other team, they needed to shut up about it and pretend-play nice because that's better racing strategy.

I would nominate Chip as the best racer this season - decent relationships with the other teams, very strong at the competitions, alwats a positive attitude, even when they were brining up the rear and totally supportive of his partner.

Yesterday I was surfing around the site amiannoying.com, and I ran into Mirna's listing on there. It's interesting that she was number 1 on the least annoying list, with 33% of people thinking that she's annoying. Charla had about 53%. I would have thought it would have been switched. Also, it seems like people are more interested in voting for Mirna than they are for Charla. Strange.

Today's TV Guide Insider has an interview with the dynamic duo:

Race Breakouts Sound Off!

Includes the typical "we hate Colin" comments:
TVGO: Knowing what you know now, what's one thing you would do differently if you were to run the race over again?
Charla: We just wish Colin hadn't been on the race.
Mirna: He was so worried about beating us and we were so worried about him literally beating us! I wish I knew Arabic fluently so I could have convinced the Gulf Air guy to send him on a flight to Antarctica.

She really does need to shut up with the comments about physical violence unless she's going to back them up with something. That ain't right. If she's telling the truth, then that sucks, but she really needs to put up or shut up, because repeating that as a vague, unsupported allegation is not cool.
