Have to give major props to tonight's Number One. Dobson is a crank, and he needs to be portrayed as such. Countdown did it in such an agreeable manner, and it was nice to see Snuffalufaus in the We Are Family Foundation video. I'm glad they showed the whole thing.

A question: what's with Monica Novotny and the silly features? I think they distract, though it was odd to see Keith pull out the Lincoln hair he got on ebay. Odd in a good way.

And is it my imagination, or did he get through the show without a Simpsons reference.

The comment about Burns was in reference to the dog that whelped 24 puppies.
Which was the same number of pups Santa's Little Helper fathered, that were stolen by Burns.
I was hoping Keith would sing "See My Vest".

I don't think KO has ever gotten through an entire show without referencing either Monty Python or the Simpsons. He also seems to have an excellent recall of 25-year old SNL routines and old commercials. A man of many talents--how can you not love that????

Maybe he doesn't want to be married-some guys don't. Maybe he enjoys living the single life for all his complaining about how he doesn't. There are some things worse than being unhappily single--like being unhappily married for instance.

And to add insult to injury, Joe Scarborough actually gave Dobson airtime so he could claim he'd been misquoted!

BTW-it's offical, MSNBC has hired Tucker Carlson for the 9pm slot to follow Countdown. Just let me gouge my eyes out now so I don't have to watch that idiot!
