Good god, this show was meh. No, wait, it was gahdawful.

Matt Rogers sounded okay, but then the asshole came out.
Briana...bland boring Briana. I had such hopes and bleh.
Jesus and Noel -- What. The. Fuck.
Kara's scary eyes weirded me out. So did her voice.
Marisa was okay. At least she was wearing pants while crouching.

If I was voting, it'd be for Lisa and Camile, who both did a good job, kept in tune, and didn't have sucky attitudes.

Even Ryan was subdued tonight. Much tension in the air.

Tonights show was hideous, they should only let one person go through. Everyone from last week was better except for maybe Ashley. Lisa was good, but I think it helped to be thrown in with such terrible performers. Even though some of them may have sounded remotely ok, they had absolutely no charisma. They shuold really change the rules and just let one go through.

I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. I can't believe how bad they were. Jesus and Noel alone almost made me cry. Seriously, everybody's voice was so weak and out of tune. That Lisa girl was good, but she wouldn't have been noticed if she was on last week's show.

Well that SUCKED with a capital SUCKED.

I like that Camile, a Hawaiian girl, was criticized for being hiphop enough by a guy who played bass for Journey.

I don't even like Matt, but I didn't think he was as bad as the judges made out. I liked Lisa (she is SO Toni Collette it ain't funny) and Camille fine, and I'd put Matt next after those two.

Mostly I want Marque and Jennifer back in THIS group.

Make no mistake; this was an historically bad night of singing. Like seven Verraros/Clark-level singers and one Caldwell. Hell, this was worse than seven Corey Clark renditions of "Against All Odds", because at least there the attempted high notes were so bad that you could laugh.

This was just sad. Go Leuschner, I guess, but none of these eight can possibly go twelve straight weeks in the finals without screwing up again.

Holy mother of Jesus. And Noel. Most of them were horrible! I felt embarrassed for them.

I missed Rose Bowl's performance.

Brianna - yeesh. too boring.
Noel - please, don't sing again. ever. no wonder they hadn't shown him singing.
Kara - where does she look like SJP? Cause I don't see it. She was meh.
Lisa - I loved her! She was awesome.
Jesus - whoa. too nasally. I hated every time he sang a word that ended with an ee sound. But at least he sounded (a little) better than Noel.
Camille - not impressed. but then again, wasn't impressed the first time either.
Marissa - liked her also.

I have to go with Lisa & Marissa.

Wow. Did they turn the mics down tonight? Because all of the vocals, especially the girls, were very weak.

Matthew: I lurve him. I don't care, and I don't think he sounded bad at all. I would probably buy his album.

Bre: I liked her too. She did hit a few rough notes but she was in tune.

Noel: Did he sing?

Kara: Oh my God she sucked. Flat flat flat. And she's annoying too. And was she making a hearing joke, or is she partially deaf too? Because I don't think that's all that funny since Camille is in her group and has partial hearing loss.

Lisa: She rocked. But even she was weak, I guess by that I mean not very loud. I think Fantasia ruined me.

Jesus: Even he knew how bad it was. But his and Noel's brother is all sorts of hot.

Camille: Didn't like her. I can't put my finger on it but I just didn't like it.

Marisa: She's annoying too. But I do love her hair and she has beautiful eyes. Her singing was ok.

Remember last year's Group 4, when they said millions voted but never gave a number? I don't think we'll be getting a number this time either. I'm certainly not compelled to vote. I like Lisa, Matt and Bre, I can't decide on two.

And I feel bad for Matt that he was lured into that smacking Simon joke. Stupid Fox. Leave these kids out of your corporate synergy.

Usually I think that Simon is too hard on the contestants, but tonight I don't think he was harsh enough. This was BY FAR the worst group of eight in three seasons and I don't believe any of these people deserve to go on to the finals. This really pisses me off since there were at least two good singers that were booted last week. My comments:

Matt: I loved his voice during the auditions but he did not do it for me tonight. He picked a really shitty song.

Bri: I cringed the whole way through the song. She sang with no emotion whatsoever. I felt nothing, she was stiff.

Noel: Absolutely terrible. There are no words.

Kara: She looked like she had gone shopping in Sarah Jessica Parker's trash can. The song? Even worse.

Lisa: I couldn't get over the gap between her teeth. I kept looking at it. I couldn't even tell you what song she sang, I was *that* distracted.

Jesus: So, so bad.

Camille: Eh, it was so-so. She wouldn't have stood a chance last week.

Marisa Joy: She was the best one tonight, but is that really a compliment?

Looks like we're going to have an all girl top 12 at the rate things are going. I pick Marisa and Camille to go on. Marisa because she was decent, and Camille because the judges seemed to be pimping her.

Yuck. Lisa was the only one who impressed me at all; all the other women were severely "meh." And annoying frat-boy personality aside, I have to admit I like Matt and thought he did a fine job. He has a *really* nice voice.

I'm not sure which was more painful, the singing on tonight's show, or the acting on the episode of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl dug up by TV Land.

Lisa was the only good performance. Look for her to move on. The rest were just weak. Boringly weak, not even a spectacular flameout like the guy from the first season who shouted his way through Careless Whisper. Jamari? Second place will be whomever is left after the meh-ness cancels each other out.

The Brothers Roman were crap. No, they sucked. Royally. How did they get past the judges? I think they were just tickled by the idea of brother against brother. Kara, we didn't see any of you before and we weren't missing you. Brianna, girl, I wanted to like you. But you had to go and give a underwhelming performance. I could hear some clear tones shining through but they were too inconsistent and whispery.

Really, it's a toss up for the second slot. Bri might squeek through because she has fans, and the others were fractionally worse.

Dumb question of the night - where can you find the numbers to vote if you missed it? I really want to vote for Lisa - she was incredible.

Damn that was bad. Which means the recap is gonna be SO goood!

I had high hopes for Bri and she let me down!

Lisa and Camille will get my votes.

I hope the guys step up in group 3 & 4!

Highlight of the night: The Simpsons preview... and also, how even Seacrest couldn't think of anything positive to say to Noel after his train-wreck of a performance.

Rose Bowl, who looks like Will Sasso, is not a bad singer at all. He was in-key tonight. I really think the judges don't like him. And I feel sorry for him because he's 25 but doesn't look a day over 42. And what was up with his cheeks? Does he have rosacea?

Please tear me away from the phone. I'm this.close. to voting for Lisa. I know that there's no way in hell she'll win, because a) the franchise already has a white soulful pop singer (who I also love) and b) in an industry where Kelly Clarkson has been referred to as plus-size, Lisa would probably be considered a cow. But I loved her performance tonight and have been rooting for her because of Cowell's weight crap. I like how she doesn't give a shit about that, and was groovin' while singing the hell out of Chaka Khan. There was an peek at a roll, but rolls happen. K. Lo's semi-final outfit was much worse.

Camille? Not nearly as overrated as Fantasia, but I don't see her as being *that* great. However, she seems nice and pretty and I guess she sings good enough...sometimes I like her the tone in her voice and sometimes I don't.

Marisa came halfway-close to rockin' out. Some parts were really good, and some parts weren't so good. I didn't think she had enough energy or moved around quite enough. The posture comments from the judges were funny and (gasp) right on. Being last could definitely help her in this case.

Matt was the definition of Meh. I'd laugh at his comment about making Simon's head bleed if I didn't believe he could actually manage to do it.

Jesus was ever so slightly better than Noel, but they both sucked ass. Their performances were painful at times. And they're not even that cute.

Kara was all wrong. Anastacia has a unique, booming voice with tons of power behind it. This chick has none. All wrong. A different song choice would've been better, but i'm still not sure she would have been so great.

Bri was decent. I liked the singing, but the subdued voice jarred against the androgynous punky look, which probably hurt her more than anything. If someone like Kara had sung Norah Jones the same way, the judges would've loved her.
