Seems Lisa performed for a hometown crowd this week and knocked their socks off!

That's sweet.

I was hoping for a full-body picture but I'll take what I can get. I hope nothing but the best for her because I think she deserves it.

Here's a great article about Lisa and Katie Webber, since they are both from the same hometown.

Good link! I liked the part where Lisa commented that she preferred to be remembered as someone who should have made it but didn't instead of being someone who made it but didn't deserve to.

Hmm... Is she trying to say something?

What was that, Lisa? You want me to lock JPL in a closet? Well, okay, but I'm not sure what that will . . . oh.

That's horrible that she went through all that shit for the Wild Card after her mother having a heart-attack. I still hate the way Randy built her up and shot her down. Ugly rollie-pollie lookin mofo.

Go Lisa!

Ugh. Yeah. My personal dislike of that man is well-established on other threads.

I still can't believe that [fill in name of your own least favorite contestant here] and Diana got in, but she didn't. Amazing.

And another week goes by, and I experience more pangs of loss for Lisa. I can hear her in my mind singing "Somewhere" (and without the grossly misplaced smiling, thankyouverymuch, LaToya!) and I die a little more inside. Can someone e-mail me with the link for Lisa's website, pretty please, so I can go kiss Lisa's ass personally?

I listened to his cooter girl interview, and it was pretty good. Hopefully, Lisa will reveal some good information about what she is doing.

Yay! A Lisa interview! Lisa would have sounded great for any of the song choices tonight (movie night). Especially, "Against All Odds," and "Summertime." I wonder what Lisa's favorite move is?

Some Notes on the Interview...

-Contract ends on August
-Wants to write her own stuff
-Didn't watch season 1, but saw finale and liked Kelly!
-Most memorable moments: Making into top 32
-Group Performance: "Can't Hurry Love" w/LaToya and Yolanda (who?)
-Favorite Judge: Randy Jackson
-Thinks she's better singing live
-Would love to do a full version of "Sweet Thing".
-Would like to do a duet with George (good friends) and Kimberly Locke.
-Would also want to work with Stevie Wonder.
-Marissa Joy wants to be her opening act when Lisa goes on tour. Lisa did Marissa's "Oh Hell No" impression. (lol)
-Shocked that Cooter Girl, and Cassie LeBeau (her roomate) didn't make the Top 32.
-Also thought Bao Viet was talented and was surprised he didn't make the Top 32.
-Favorite Music Genre: R&B and Soul.
-Has been approached with music offers.
-Missed the contestant most of all.
-Doesn't think Keith (Like A Virgin Guy) and William Hung are THAT bad of a singer.
-Honored that Randy said she had potentially the best voice in the competition.
-Keep in contact with Katie Webber.
-Thanks all her fans.

Squeee!!! She answered my question!!!! I asked her if given a chance to sing with anyone, who would she choose. Yay! Unless someone else asked her the same thing. Its not like brain surgery to think that one up.

Thanks Jeannie632. I'm not quite sure about the Randy bit myself because I can't stand the guy this season. But I can understand it coming from her since Simon was an ass towards her.

And woo she wants to sing with Kimberley! And George...she's got good taste.

I finally got around to downloading some of the sample demos online (Nobody's Suppose To Be Here, You Put A Move On My Heart, Let Me Let Go, etc) and I finally realized how talented this young lady really is. Even though I liked her before, the way she was worshipped on here made her out to be really overrated (we only heard one song!), but after listening to these clips, she blew me away. I might actually buy her albulm when she releases it out.
