Am I the only one who liked both Kim and Kat?

The Kim fans all seem to hate Kat with the passion of 1000 fiery suns, and the Kat fans think Kim was just an annoying airhead. That's not all fans of the respective characters of course, but seemingly a majority felt that way

I like how you're neutral, CloudyGumdrops. I've read some of the anti-Kat stuff on web sites and I gotta tell ya, it ain't pretty. You're right in saying that some fans of either character are little extreme in their favoritism. But please believe me, Kim annoyed me looooong before Kat came along.

And Dariendude15, here's how you make the quote box:

1. Highlight and copy the text you wish to quote.
2. Once you hit "Add Reply" or "Fast Reply", paste said quote in the text box.
3. Highlight your quote, then hit the "quote" button, located on the code buttons portion of the reply page.
4. Then just space down and write your reply, snarky remarks, or whatever as normal.

Attention all Tommy fans, the website for the Risingsun Karate Academy, has drool worthy videos, Check these out, they are unbelievable. Of course given my lust for the martial arts, I may be slightly biased.

I lurve martial arts, partially because of a weird thing for Jet Li.

I wish the characters were still doing their own stunts. That's what I liked about the earlier seasons, a lot of the actors were real martial artists.

So, the new eppie was ok. Not enough focus on Sky for my liking, but it was pretty good imo. What the hell was Kat wearing? Her outfit was horrible. The Omega ranger looks pretty cool.

Does that mean you were joining me in the drool session, especially during the art of weapons clip, I almost fainted.

Oh and can amyone remember the lyrics to Kiras song from Wave Goodbye, I've had the tune in my head for a while now and can't remember the words

I'm not a Power Rangers follower but can someone tell me -- was/is there a female Power Ranger that (in real life) comes from Canada? If so, what's her name? Thanks!

OMEGA: Hey! No free rides!
RED: Be quiet and drive.

This is a bit out of character for me, but The fight scene between Morgana and Z in Messenger Part I was pretty, what you guys in this forum refer to as, "Hooyay". And in Part II, I gotta give props to Omega. I haven't seen a rabger break dance that well since Zach in MMPR. Ya know, it's when I see episodes like this that the same old feeling kreeps up on me: that kids today don't know how good they got it. Back when I was a fan of the old Mighty Morphin series and, like, 10 years old, there was a lot more imagination involved while watching the show. Seriousely. When there was a flash of smoke and sparks, you had to PRETEND it was an explosion and that our heroes where being blown away by the force of it, not jumping backward. Not like nowadays, when the graphics and action choreography is top-notch--not the best in the world, mind you. But top-notch nonetheless.

It doesn't compare to the scenes Jasmine (Z's sentai counterpart) and Succubus (she wore the same battlesuit as Morgana) had in Dekaranger. Now that was some HoYay. *g*

I know this might be a little noobish of me, but how exactly are you guys gaining access to the sentai versions of the Power Rangers? I'd love to see somadat.

eBay or BitTorrent are your best bets for finding Sentai. If you go the eBay route, it's likely you'll encounter wacky subtitles ("Scorpion penis!") and possibly defective discs. BitTorrent has its own troubles, which I know very little of as I'm still stuck on dialup.

Either way, you too will be able to watch a Sentai series and go, "OMG! They're totally copying that from (series)!" as I do with nearly every episode of S.P.D. or "I can't believe they did that instead of what happened on (series)!"

"Scorpion penis!"

Ouch.

I'm looking at the Rising Sun media now. Taking forever to load but so worth it. The Art of Weapons one is my favorite too. It reminds me of that episode where Tommy tries out for a commercial. I love the close up of him breathing at the end.

Also the commercial cracks me up. "Next to Chuck E. Cheese."

So I'm currently down old South America way (study abroad in Argentina) and I discovered that a channel here plays an hour of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers every weekday. Dubbed. They just finished the green ranger episodes and man, it is hilarious to look back and see what my 9-year-old self remembers or doesn't remember about the show. And the dubbing makes it all the worse. Good times.

Is it just me, or in the latest episode of SPD, did Syd (or is it Sid?) look especially bootylicious? Yep, this is the first time in years I've actaully been infatuated with a Pink Ranger. And no, I'm not referencing Kimberly. Bitch was oogly.

I've lost all interest in PR.

Really, after years and years of not watching the show (I stopped during Turbo), Ninja Storm started to pull me back in. Then, for some reason, I developed an almost unhealthy like for Dino Thunder. (Which is why a crossover between these two incarnations was heaven for me.) Then, SPD came along...and nothin'.

It's not that I think it's bad or anything. Since I've started watching PR again, I've caught some of the other incarnations, and think SPD is one of the better ones. It has some of the same things going for it that NS and DT did. But, for some reason, the show and its characters leave me cold, and I just can't get into it.

Eh. To each his own I suppose. Anyway. I know this episode is a rerun, but it was the first time I saw the Boom episode all the way through. It was excellent seeing him try to fight the bluehead, jumping and bouncing around aided by wirework and Bulk-Skull sound effects. And I know for a fact that his dream sequence involved an "In Space" helmet recolored orange. I just don't know what color it was to begin with. Maybe is was the Black Ranger's.
