Sorry, but I love Giada. Her pronunciations may be a little much, but I love watching her. Besides, she makes some really fantastic looking food.

Today's episode was really good. I especially loved the parmesan-basil-lemon wafers. Looked yummy and couldn't be easier. Just one thing though, are edible flowers readily available in regular grocery stores?

I also watched today's episode. Good show. I know I will try those parmesan wafers. Good party food.
I don't know about other places, but my local grocery store carries edible flowers. They are located with the fresh herbs in the produce section.

I think all the dishes from the new show looked pretty good. Nothing particularly original, but still pretty good. However, that was an awful lot of butter to be pouring into those little arteries.

I really liked the look of the potatp and zuchini dish.

I thought Lucy was adorable and her eating ALL of the brown sugar was priceless. I thought the recipes looked good, and pretty kid friendly. My husband says he STILL wouldn't eat the zucchini though....

I was cracking up when she kept eating the brown sugar and nobody even noticed....so adorable!

That was so cute -- and then as soon as the batter was mixed (before the egg was added) she reached over Giada to grab some batter! She was really funny. I also thought it was sweet that Giada asked Charlie to try some zucchini and it was the first thing he ate -- what a good kid.

That's funny about your husband, lobsterlea. Zucchini is one of the few green vegetables my husband will eat, so I always get excited for new zucchini recipes.

I was laughing so hard at little Lucy shoveling in the brown sugar: she reminded me so much of my own four year old. They were so cute and well behaved: Giada seemed to have a good time with them.

I want to try the mac and cheese dish but I think my seven year old would only eat it Giada herself asked him to.

I'm going to make that dish next weekend, but substitute basil for the parsley like her mother did and use leftover roast chicken.

I'm surprised no one's weighed in on Giada's new 'do in the last episode.

ETA: In the tradition of 2004's All-Star Thanksgiving and 2005's All-Star Holiday Party, this year they're airing an All-Star Holiday Gifts show on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Looks like Giada's making the savory cheescake she did recently on EI with green herbs in the filling and strawberry jam on top.

I don't like it. She looks better with longer hair. I also chuckled when I saw the little girl eating the brown sugar. She looked so cute. The chicken and pasta dish looked delicious but I didn't care for the rest of the food.

So I was talking to a group of straight guys at the bar this weekend and asked them if they ever watched Food Network. And they all said they watched Giada, one guy saying that he loved her show a lot. Then I asked them to name one thing, anything, that she's ever cooked. Long pause. "Um, spaghetti?"

Hee. Yeah, when our little group of friends get together, BF and the one other domestic guy in the group will talk about FN and Giada. The conversation is almost never about the food and always starts with, "Mmmmm... Giada." BF said his dentist looks like her and Friend piped up with, "Does she dress like her, too?!" I have the obligatory eye-roll, but I can't say too much because I have a huge girl-crush on her.

My 16 year old daughter just made the Broiled Zucchini and Potatoes with Parmesan Crust and it is easy and delicious!

I prefer Giada's hair straighter than her current "do," but I still think she's gorgeous. She could be bald and still look great.

She could.

I saw her show with the kids and was very impressed, with the kids and Giada. It seemed very natural to me.
