» Nip/Tuck: Plot Holes Are A Curse Upon The World
Stalker

I tell you i didn't really expect N/T to win last year just because of the content but i was happy it was nominated. I jumped up and down and screamed when it won and my mom looked at me weirdly.

Once again she reminded me of how i was too young to see the show...can't wait till college next year baby!

Looks like the PTC has done their work well! Just kidding! Welcome.

Anne Heche is a fantastic actress. Check out "Walking and Talking" and "Pie in the Sky" (two pre-Ellen craziness roles) for proof. Oh, and I caught her on Broadway in "Proof" and she was magnificent, and very cool and friendly to fans at the stage door.

Well i don't think she knows about PTC and in a way i can see her point cause the show is basically soft porn but i told her as soon as i turned 18 i would be seeing the show.

She's even lightened up by letting me see a couple episodes and she said she would let me see it but they're always doing some freaky sexual stuff, lol.

That's okay like i told someone else i will be in bliss watching the DVD's and seeing season 4!

MDM, I hear ya. My mom used to care (I was 14 when it first came on the air, and she wasn't too thrilled with me watching soft porn), but then she started watching too, and now she understands and even encourages my obsession.

So there should be less than a day to the premiere now right? We're on an official countdown, I'm getting all excited on your behalf - whee!

Now I just got to prepare myself and see if I can go without reading your reviews, I'm determining whether I should go cold turkey so it'll be a surprise (well some of it, I'm spoilered up) the suspense will actually have an effect then but sadly I just don't think I can hold out...

When does it start in Canada? I thought it was the 20th, but I've gone to my menu on my digital box and there is no listing for it. Is it on CTV? What time?

Friday the 23rd, at 9:00 pm on CTV. It's a 90 min show, till 10:30pm.

As an amusing side note, TPTB at CTV, in their infinite wisdom, pared Nip/Tuck with what they probably considered a perfect match: Jenifer Love Hewitt's Ghost Wisperer. Only in Canada!

Less than 24 HOURS AND COUNTING...

RE: recapping 'N/T'---
The first rule of 'Nip/Tuck' is never talk about recapping 'Nip/Tuck'...
The second rule of 'Nip/Tuck' is never talk about recapping 'Nip/Tuck'...

The third rule if 'Nip/Tuck' is anything goes...
If something offends you, don't watch it.
Underneath the prurience and pulchritude lies the work of brilliant minds (Ryan Murphy and Co.) who bend and break the rules of television drama. I'm sure that some people never get past the sex, violence and flash, but RM has something unique to say about the way we view ourselves and our world. It's not always raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, but, hey-- the show gets you to question a lot of so-called truths in our society.

That's half the reason to watch it!!! Shock value.

I was just on MySpace (don't mock me!), and the ad at the top is a countdown to the premiere! It's very cool, if I may say so myself.

Damn. Demian picked the pilot of Supernatural for his Katrina Mondo Extra. Sigh. He even mentions being tempted to recap an episode of Nip/Tuck.

Word!! Too bad Demian didn't do N/T... no matter, the fact it starts tomorrow overrides anything!!!

New (and lengthy) interview with Roma Maffia on AfterEllen.com includes this spoiler: it looks like Julia's lesbian affair this season may be with Liz, but it's definitely not with Gina (according to Maffia) There's also a Season 3 preview article there that includes several of the already-known spoilers about this season.

Amen Sister Medicminx.

If something offends you, don't watch it.
And chances are that if you're dialed up here, you've made the right choice. Oh yeah.

Let me be one of the first to wish all a "Happy 'Nip/Tuck'" third season (and hopefully the boards won't crash down from the weight/excitement of all the postings to come)!!!

Off to continue the supervision of my N/T party last minute details as the guests will soon be arriving. Where's my damn 'Carver' knife??

CHEERS!

There are lots of reviews around now but this one, from the Boston Globe, particularly appeals to me.

One of the other ones actually said that the competing network shows will need to look to their laurels. I hope they're right!
