I was really surprised that the other two didn't get FJ. I thought it was pretty obvious, and I've never even seen The Exorcist.

Cinderella, I can't link to it, but go to the Jeopardy website. On the left side it says "Communicate" towards the bottom of the list. After you click it, three other options open up. Click "Message Boards" and a window should pop up.

And I've asked this before, but got no answer...can someone post a link to the Sony Jeopardy boards? I honestly can't find them.

I had to go through some Windows manipulations to get a direct link.

Ken, I don't know if you make it around to any of the other boards around here, but you've made it big time once you're involved in one of the Pixel Challenges.

That is very cool :-)
I loved both the challengers last night, but once again, Ken came through!
And I was pleasantly surprised by his knowledge of bartending ;-)
I've already decided I'm going to be late for Bible study tonight so I can see if Ken continues his streak.

Ken is also mentioned in mtvcdm's Wildly Unalphabetical TV Dictionary (look for the teenager entry)

cgchimes, that was from last night? I just watched it a few minutes ago :/. Are you from the future? Have I been a day behind this entire time? It was a great game though.

Ken slowed down in the 2nd half of Jeopardy, after the DD in a bartending category. With 2 tough contestants, buzzer control was key. The DDs made it a close game in Double Jeopardy. The FJ category was Medicine. The FJ answer was "In 1901 U.S. Surgeon General Walter Wyman helped establish a hospital in Hawaii for this disease." Higher wagering made for an exciting game.

eta Question: What is Leprosy?

sixesses, you may want to spoiler tag that post for anyone who doesn't want to know the results in advance.

DragonScribe, just out of curiosity: On the $200 question in Tails (the UGA/UF largest outdoor ?? party), the contestant gave the answer "Tailgating." My dad and I (both UGA grads) immediately said "Cocktail." That's that the tailgate party is refered to as: "The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party." Would that have been accepted?

Zunnieflower- I'm not from the future :-) But maybe they show Jeopardy a day later where you live.

As much as I've enjoyed watching Ken, I was totally hoping that he and stage-left-guy (Geez. Ten minutes, and I can't remember their names) would guard against each other and get FJ wrong, thus allowing middle-guy to win with a measly few thousand dollars. That would have been amusing.

cgchimes, I was in my early 20s when Trivial Pursuit first came out and if anything I was more clean cut than Ken -- Southern girl, Baptist College, never went to parties where there was alcohol, etc. You just reminded me that I almost always correctly answered the cocktail questions in TP. All those Saturday nights I spent in my dorm room watching The Love Boat apparently taught me something. I must have absorbed the Wisdom of Isaac the Bartender like a sponge absorbs liquid.

Ken, I've found myself wondering if you were/are working at your real job during the streak? I assume you've been flown home after the day's shoot and flown back the next week, correct?

vailfiregirl - there is a note with the research for that clue that it is also called the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. But the implication of the clue is something that happens outside, usually in association with ballgames. Which is more specific to "tailgate" than "cocktail".

It probably would have involved some discussion between the judges. But it's hard to say, looking at it in retrospect. Still, we were aware of the possibility.
