Hey, guys. I added "(SPOILER)" to the thread title, in case it wasn't obvious. There's no change to the rules or what you guys have been doing -- it's just because some users have been confused about what's allowed in this thread.

(It also means that we don't need any spoiler tags in this thread, obviously.)

If the new top six photos(there are 2) are any indication of how things will go Melinda, Blake and Lakisha are screwed. They have(from left to right top) Phil, Jordin, Chris and on the bottom left to right Melinda, Blake and Lakisha. They seem to be putting Phil next to Jordin or Chris. The pics just seem so knolish to me.

- The Rickey/Chris S. saga is hilariously funny. Internet drama at it's best!

- Chris Sligh has taken down his blog post about Ricky

- Ricky has "magnanimously" responded in kind. And I was enjoying this little melodrama so much!

Waaaaaah I missed it! Both links are down.

Would anyone be so kind as to give a little recap of their removed blog posts?

I feel like Ando, I'm so confused.
If I understand the players correctly, shouldn't this be Ricky, no E

Or is there something with both IDF Ricky and Rickey from rickey.org?

And I second the request for a recap on the blogs, please.

I have Sligh's captured, but am not sure it's kosher to post it here. Opinions on that? I don't have Ho's.

Oh you captured it, nicely done. Why not post it... you know what happens at twop stays at twop, heh. ;)

I'm really curious to see it, if he really does come off the least douche-baggy he ever has...

Here's what Ricky posted about it on his MS. He deleted it, but he lovely peeps at MJ's captured it in all of it's glory before he did:

Chris Sligh! Is he a liar liar, pants on fire?

I find it really hilarious that I got Chris Sligh to write a blog about me; especially considering I know the truth. I don’t care who believes me or not, but he straight up lied to your faces. If Chris Sligh would’ve been spoiling to me — lets face it, this all wouldn’t be happening! But calling me a liar and also spoiling with someone else. Oh shit, Big MISTAKE! Chris Sligh throughout the season would give themes and guest mentors to a certain someone else on IDF, and that week where I wasn’t doing spoilers and a certain someone else posted a list and it began to get altered a bit — that info was from Chris Sligh. The week Gina sang Pretenders, Melinda / Lakisha sang Donna Summer songs. Recall telling a friend that, Sligh? ;) I know you do, because you did!……

Here's part of what Sligh posted. I can't find the full blog post, but this is pretty good:

Rickey has claimed that I “probably” received the lowest number of votes, but no matter what I was going home the week that I went home (even if I received more votes than someone else) because of reasons I will give in points 3 & 4. Sorry, it’s bullcrap. I have no doubt in my mind that I received the lowest amount of votes. If they had wanted to send me home unfairly, Nigel and Ken could have done the week before. There were things that happened behind the scenes (again things that fall under my confidentiality agreement) that make me assured that my leaving was because I received the fewest amount of votes. And guess what? I’m not complaining! I had a great run on the show, and left when America decided it was time for me to leave - not Nigel and Ken. My dreams are coming true right and left…some silly little spoiler kid isn’t gonna make me bitter with some bullcrap story about how I supposedly wasn’t supposed to go home, or whatnot. I’m content with how things turned out.

Honestly, I think they're both full of "bullcrap" as Sligh would say.

Ay yi yi yi... Yikes. So much drama. I can't believe Chris Sligh started an internet war with IDF's Ricky. WTF was he thinking? I was lurking at IDF and saw all these threads, Chris Sligh calls Rickey Hoe Guardian a Liar, My (Ricky's) Blog Response to Sligh, Sligh deletes his Ricky post in his blog, Ricky vs Chris Sligh, etc.

From what I can gather, in sum: Ricky claims that Chris Sligh was one of his informants. Chris was secretly posting at IDF under the name "Fro Patro" and leaking spoilers to some 14 yr old named "Idol Maniac", who, apparently, told several people about it, including Ricky. Ricky also claims that the Idol bosses were aware that they had a leak and had been watching IDF and investigating Chris's involvement. After "Idol Maniac" told Ricky about his source, Ricky contacted Chris to warn him and told him to erase his files. Chris then offered to give his spoilers to Ricky instead. Ricky claims to possess private emails from Chris/his friend? and he posted screenshots: 1, 2, and 3. He threatened to post more, and to take it to the media, but he wanted to wait to see how Chris would respond. Chris Sligh then deleted his entire blog entry regarding Ricky. And Ricky decided to do the same.

There should be a rule that contestants should stay off the internet until their season is over.

Chris Sligh's original blog post in full (gotta love IdolForums):
The Bullcrap

Rickey Hoe Guardian, is, apparently, a spoiler over at idol forums. He supposedly has inside information on a certain show. I have received several emails through my blog of people asking me why I leaked information and that I hate Phil, because I leaked information, etc.

Let me say a few things regarding this:

#1 - I have no idea if Rickey's spoilers are correct. No one except for a select very, very few people know the actual voting results (which he claims to have every week). The people who know this info are very, very high up on the Idol food chain, and, like the contestants, they have to sign confidentiality agreements (as I understand almost every reality show must sign). I find it really hard to believe someone would risk their high-paying job and a high-paying lawsuit to spoil anything to some dumb kid who thinks he has all the answers to American Idol. That's just me. Let me put it this way: there are things that I know about that I am not allowed to talk about because of said confidentiality agreement that I can avidly say that there is no way that the voting is rigged. Sorry, I have seen things and know things about the show that no one except contestants and people who work for the show know and I have been asked to keep them private, so I will. But please know that there is no way that the votes are rigged. We don't know who this Rickey kid is...it's the internet, people, the land of where men can make people think they're nice young women and child molestors can stalk a 12 year old without being noticed....my opinion is that Rickey is some kid who got cut from the show at some point or another and has decided to do his best to discredit the show. Sour grapes, I think is what it's called. I don't have a problem with Rickey. I don't know Rickey. I have never met him, and probably never will. I just hate the bullcrap that he presents as truth.

#2 - Rickey has claimed that I "probably" received the lowest number of votes, but no matter what I was going home the week that I went home (even if I received more votes than someone else) because of reasons I will give in points 3 & 4. Sorry, it's bullcrap. I'm not complaining! I had a great run on the show, and left when America decided it was time for me to leave - not Nigel and Ken. My dreams are coming true right and left...some silly little spoiler kid isn't gonna make me bitter with some bullcrap story about how I supposedly wasn't supposed to go home, or whatnot. I'm content with how things turned out.

#3 - Rickey has claimed I leaked information out "through a friend". This is straight up bullcrap. Sorry, but I don't have information to leak, outside of little tidbits of knowledge of behind the scenes stuff about the show, and when I was on the show that stuff was unimportant. The only thing I can think of being a spoiler worth anything while I was on the show was song spoilers, and as far as I can remember outside of telling friends of my choice and perhaps one or two other's choices, I never told anyone song choices. In fact, I usually didn't even know other people's (outside of my close friends on the show) song choices till the day of the show because of how rehearsal schedules worked. So, I can say with certainty that this is straight up bullcrap.

#4 - Rickey has said that I leaked info about Phil's supposed disqualification and subsequent re-entry back into the competition. Again (sorry) due to the confidentiality agreement, I can't confirm or deny whether this happened with Phil. But I will say that, again, Rickey has gotten it completely wrong. It's more bullcrap.

Rickey, for what ever reason, is trying to make himself a story. Good for him. But please don't buy into some rabid conspiracy theory when it comes to a silly reality tv show. Seriously, people...it's a tv show.

Also, when you read my blogs, please realize that what you get is what you get. There are no hidden agendas. I'm just a guy writing about life. AI happens to be huge part of my life right now, so I write about my friends and the competition we were (and are) a part of. Someone read into my thoughts on Sanjaya as trying to tear down the kid. Sorry, but whoever is reading that far into something nice that I felt from my heart, really should stay away from the internet altogether, or at least from this blog. You don't get it and probably never will...and that's all right. Just avoid it and help both you and me avoid any annoyance or heartache.

Peace and love,
Chris

I think his logic on the Phil thing is very shaky and reeks of legalese. And don't all the Idols hang around when they're rehearsing with the mentor? I'm sure they're in a different room but unless it's on the other side of the building or they're isolated in a soundproof booth there's a good chance that they'll hear things.

This Chris/Ricky saga is funny as hell. It's also really pathetic. I will say that I believe Chris on this point:
No one except for a select very, very few people know the actual voting results (which he claims to have every week). The people who know this info are very, very high up on the Idol food chain, and, like the contestants, they have to sign confidentiality agreements (as I understand almost every reality show must sign).

I've always found this Ricky person's claims that he knows the voting results laughable.
Again (sorry) due to the confidentiality agreement, I can't confirm or deny whether this happened with Phil. But I will say that, again, Rickey has gotten it completely wrong.

Hee. I can neither confirm nor deny except for how I'm denying it. Good job, chris!

Ha! As much as I have bashed Chris over this season, I have to say that I agree with him on most of his points.

Yes, Ricky got the Top 24 correct, apparently by stalking Top 44 contestants until someone told him what he needed to know. And yes, he did get song spoilers, as have many other people over the seasons. The thing is, I don't think that TPTB would care overly much if people know about these things. Knowing who the Top 24 are get people invested in contestants early on, and song choices have been regularly spoiled by the judges and TPTB themselves in the past!

Voting totals getting out, on the other hand, would be unacceptable. Knowing, for example, that a contestant is far in the lead makes the viewers docile for both the frontrunner AND those in danger of elimination-- the opposite, I'm sure, of what TPTB would want. That, coupled with the absurdity of AI doling out confidential information to staff members throughout the franchise, is why I can't believe him. Sorry, Ricky.

Well. I think tonight proves definitively that Jordin is TCO. My fondest wish is that Jordin lands in the bottom three after that fiasco. I like the girl fine, but please, TPTB. Stop it already.

(Chris is her designated cannon fodder.)

But riddle me this, how exactly are they going to pimp Chris past Melinda? And Phil, for that matter. Blake, I think they're damning with faint praise. And Lakisha - they didn't just throw her under the bus, they drove it themselves and backed the bus up over her, just to make sure they got the job done.

The Jordin pimping is extremely obvious (though they might have tried to temper it SLIGHTLY by leaving the most egregious comments to Randy, which makes Simon sound like a voice of reason in comparison even though he's being effusive), as is the LaKisha depimping. I really didn't think she was bad at all, and the audience seemed to really love her. I'm not sure what they're trying to do with Phil at this point, except maybe to get him just far enough to help boot LaKisha and give them hype for a 'shocking' boot while managing to get him out, but he seems to be gaining steam popularity wise so that's a risk.

Lakisha is getting all of Malakar's votes and the singing vampire has VFTW. Just listened to Blake (sound only) and he had one crack (could be from his sore throat) that he didn't have during the rehearsal shot, but the rest was beautiful. Depending on how the votes come out, they may decide not to have anyone go OR Blake may be the sacrifice rather than sending Chris R. home. What I don't understand is that they gave Blake the echo again tonight and played the rehearsal clip that would make viewers forget his "crack". I understand damning with faint praise, but I simply think the judges did not feel that the public would think it was "inspirational" enough without the belting, so they embraced the emotion and "sincerity" angle, without commenting on the singing. Perhaps television did Blake favors. Other than Jordin and Melinda being in the final four, I don't think the judges give a rip which males make it at this point. They just aren't contenders for the crown.

Simon about gave me whiplash tonight with that comment of his. I think they're going to use Phil as their Federov to take out one or two people they'd like to get rid of, like LaKisha and maybe Blake. I think Phil was supposed to be tonight's "uncontroversial boot", but I suspect he won't be going anywhere.

Lakisha is getting all of Malakar's votes

She didn't get mine ;-) And neither did anyone else. I'll be damned if I'll pony up $10 via some company while Simon and Co sit in their bloody limos and wank on about poverty </rant>.

and the singing vampire has VFTW.

VFTW is negligble. Honestly, the average person who watches this show has no idea the site exists, or may have heard about it over all the Sanjaya buzz but isn't quite clear what it entails. And as soon as Phil goes, they'll claim another victory instead of just admitting it's culling the herd. Then they'll pick their next target.

I'm going to start saying things avidly from now on.

I thought the praise for Jordin was way over the top. I like her but she hit some bad notes. And no way was it one of the best performances evah.
