I don't think the news of Tony signing onto another pilot is bad news. Of course, I would...had the articles about TH doing so not expressly added the fact that the Andy Richter show was in the second position to AD should it come back on Showtime.

This is why Kristen sometimes gets on my nerves. It's the way she says what she says...

I heard Tony Hale signed on to another TV pilot. This concerns me.

Saying that she heard it makes it sound like it's not true (at least to me) and that it's not a confirmed deal...which it is.

Again, Tony's doing the show only if AD is gone. That is my understanding on the issue. I say that we should try to be more optimistic this can be done, folks.

I dont like our outlook after reading the Hollywood Reporter article. It seems that everything we looked at as positives for our show coming back are referred to as fiction in the article.

Amazing Story #1 in a series of 1

I was coming out of my gym here in Toronto today and downstairs outside the Whole Foods market there's a guy with his French pug talking dog talk with someone. Super cute dog so I go in for a little owner-authorized pet.

The owner? One Jason Bateman.

I introduced myself (he's a super nice guy BTW and his hair is mesmerizing) and we get talking about the site and the show.

Here are the things I remember (and he gave full blessing to post the info as he loves the site and you guys but he's too shy and too cute to post on the boards):

- Mitch loves you guys and it was nice to see people getting the show and enjoying the show especially at times when network directives were "make the show 30% dumber"

- Showtime has picked up the show for 2 years at 12 episodes a year (maybe it was 13) with a third year option

- The ball is in Mitch's court and Jason said Mitch will be making that decision within the next 24-48 hours though I don't know if that means we'll know about it at that time or not

- He hasn't read the Will Arnett interview yet so I told him Will totally rips on him -- at which point he made a note to read it :)

One in a million chance encounter and he seems very normal, nice and did I mention he has the hair of a god. I kinda of wanted to make out with his hair.

Looks like Jason is going to be spending lots of time in Toronto. His new movie with Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman starts shooting there next week.

Wow. Reading that right after the Hollywood Reporter column ... I know the roller coaster of which Mitch speaks. (Or, reportedly speaks, or whatever.) I know it's sick and wrong, but did you ask to pet his hair after you asked to pet his dog?

I man, I was attempted. In the WA interview with Wing he says Jason is very girly about his hair but man, it pays off big time.

Hopefully, we'll hear Mitch's decision sooner rather than later. And hopefully that decision will be that the show continues!

Hell yes! This week is the worst for me with regards to school, but if Mitch picks up the show...it will be a great week, regardless of what happens with my academics. Taste the happy!

Thanks, Glark, for that info! It's nice to know that Mitch loves us too. Well, that was pretty evident from the finale. But still, it's good to hear! I do hope he decides to continue...
