Topic Options
At the top of each topic, there is a 'Options' menu. Clicking this menu will expand the options menu, and you can select from the following options:

• Track this topic -- allows you to receive email updates for the topic. You can change your topic subscription preferences in your Control Panel.
• Email this topic – creates an email form you can use to send a link directly to that topic to someone.
• Print this topic - will present the current topic you are viewing a printer friendly format. Note that in longer topics this function currently may not display all posts because of cache issues.
• Download this topic – allows you download the thread for offline viewing in several different formats (Printer Friendly, HTML, or Microsoft Word). Again, this will not capture all posts if the thread is long.
• Subscribe to this forum – will allow you to receive email updates for any new topics posted in the forum. You can change your forum subscription preferences in your Control Panel.

Topic Subscriptions

There are three ways to subscribe to a topic:

• Click the 'Options' menu at the top of a topic, and select 'Track this topic'
• On the posting screen when replying to or creating a topic, check the 'Enable email notification of replies?' checkbox.
• From the 'Email Settings' section of your User CP (My Controls) check the 'Enable Email Notification by default?' option, this will automatically subscribe you to any topic that you make a reply to.

Please note that there are four different types of subscriptions:

• Immediate Email Notification – will send an email immediately after a new topic or reply has been made, regardless of your activity.
• Delayed Emailed Notification – will send you a notification if a new topic or reply has been made and you're not active on the board.
• Daily Email Digest – will send a daily email with all new replies or topics for that day.
• Weekly Email Digest – will send a weekly email showing all new replies or topics for that week.

You can also subscribe to a particular forum on the board, and be notified when a new topic is created in that forum. To enable this, click 'Forum Options' menu at the top forum you wish to subscribe to, and click the 'Subscribe to this forum' link.

To unsubscribe from any forums or topics, go to the 'Subscriptions' section of "My Controls."

I subscribed to a topic; why aren't I getting the email notifications?

Make sure that your email address is entered correctly. Go to "My Controls" and under Options, select "Change Email Address." This will display the email address we have registered for your account. If your account is a few years old, we may no longer have your email address in the system; just update the information and subscriptions should get to you. If that is not the problem, check your spam folder and make sure that forums@televisionwithoutpity.com is whitelisted.
